Working with Mandi was SO great from start to finish!!! She did an engagement shoot for us, along with our wedding — and both experiences were amazing. From the very beginning, she took the time to really understand the shots I was hoping to capture and came into the wedding day fully prepped and ready to make it all happen! She was so lovely to work with — warm, professional, easygoing, and made us feel totally comfortable in front of the camera (which isn’t always easy!). The highlight photos I’ve received so far are incredible — they completely capture the joy, emotion, and magic of the day. I already can't wait to see the rest of the gallery! I highly, highly recommend Chesapeake Charm Photography to anyone looking for a photographer who is not only talented and detail-oriented, but also just a wonderful person to have by your side on such an important day! -

I could not recommend Mandi from Chesapeake Charm enough!! She was the photographer for our wedding in 2021 at Rosewood Farms in Elkton, MD. As soon as I saw Mandi’s photography when we were wedding planning, I knew that we needed her for our wedding - she was one of the first vendors that we booked! I fell in love with the bright & airy style of her photos. I absolutely loved working with her, from our initial consultation meeting to our wedding day. We even had her do our family photos with our baby for Christmas in 2023! You will absolutely not regret hiring Mandi as your photographer! -

Mandi is AMAZING!!! I can’t say enough great things about her and her business! She was super responsive Through the whole process and just an angel to work with! She made our micro wedding amazing after Covid ruined our big wedding. Our wedding pictures turned out better than we ever expected that we reached out to her for our newborn pictures that I still can’t get enough of! You cant go wrong with booking Mandi as your photographer! -

Don’t walk, RUN and book with Mandi!
There are not enough words to explain how amazing Mandi is!!!! You need to RUN and book her immediately!! From the first phone call and throughout the entire wedding planning process, she was so responsive, organized, and above and beyond helpful. Her pictures truly speak for themselves and I can’t even tell you how many strangers have reached out to tell me how beautiful the pictures are!! She also got them back to me in absolutely record time. On wedding day, I didn’t have a wedding planner, and she helped me put together a timeline and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She was soooo much fun to work with, was so laid back (while still being assertive and corralling our wedding party/family for pictures) and made sure everything was low-stress. Most people complain about their wedding portraits and how long it takes, but one of our favorite parts of the day was taking our portraits with Mandi and her second shooter (who was also so fun and fantastic). We are so, so happy Mandi was a part of one of the best days of our lives, and it wouldn’t have been the same without her!! -

I cannot sing Mandi’s praises loud enough! From our first phone call, I knew I wasn’t hiring just any vendor, but someone I could trust. Mandi made us feel like family right off the bat. From persevering through some rainy and smoky engagement pictures, to a stunning, picture-perfect wedding day, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Chesapeake Charm Photography gave us memories to last a lifetime. We received so many compliments on not only our wedding photos, but on Mandi and her second shooter, Anne, on how professional, kind, and talented they are. We are eternally grateful for Mandi and hope we get to work together again in the future! -

We are glad we chose Chesapeake charm photography as our wedding photographer! Mandi is easy to work with and was a pleasure to have around on the wedding day. Her and her 2nd shooter had great vibes and went above and beyond to make sure our day ran as smoothly as possible. After our wedding, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a gallery of sneak peaks less than 48 hours later. We loved being able to back at the highlights from our big day by the time we landed on our honeymoon. Not to mention, the photos came out lovely! Overall we had a positive experience with Chesapeake charm and would definitely recommend. -

Mandi was amazing and I can’t imagine having anyone else capture our day! She was incredibly flexible and understanding of all of our plan changes due to COVID. Working with Mandi felt like I was working with a best friend, I felt very comfortable with her and it felt like she was just excited as I was for our big day. Even before we were engaged I was eyeing Mandi’s photography on social media and knew she was our top choice photographer. Luckily she was available for our date and delivered such amazing service and stunning photos. The entire gallery is perfect! Mandi is patient, kind, incredibly talented and a breeze to work with. Mandi is the absolute best and there just aren't enough words to describe how amazing she is. From the beginning, she was always super sweet and gave great advice as we planned our wedding. Our engagement photos were absolutely perfect! I instantly knew that Mandi was the perfect photographer for us.
On our wedding day, not only was Mandi an amazing photographer but an amazing friend. I couldn't have survived the day without her. She helped the day flow so smoothly and if anything crazy came up, she handled it! We had flooding on our wedding day and the original spot we were going to take pictures was not available. However, when I was told this, Mandi already had a plan in place. She looked for an alternative spot to get our photos on the water that wasn't far from the venue! She honestly saved me from having a meltdown lol. She also gave me tips throughout the night that really calmed my nerves and allowed me to relax. Even the small things (such as removing my hair tie from my wrist before walking down the aisle!) she did not forget. My wedding was amazing because of her.
Our pictures are absolutely fantastic. I cry every time I look at them. They are so beautiful and the variety/angles from throughout the day are astonishing. Mandi and her assistant are so talented. Your wedding day will go by quickly, but if you have an amazing photographer like Mandi, you will see the full day captured moment by moment. I have received so many compliments of our photos and have already hung large prints up around our house. They are just perfect. Thank you again Mandi! -

Mandi was absolutely incredible. She did our engagement and wedding photos, and we could not have asked for better photographs for both. It started to rain on my wedding day and while I was panicking, Mandi searched around for an indoor spot for us to our first look. She found a beautiful room and saved the day! She also endured the rain just to get some shots outside. She and her second photographer were professional, fun, and just simply amazing. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!! -

We could honestly not be any happier that we hired Mandi for our wedding day!!! She was punctual, professional, and super easy to work with! She kept me relaxed while simultaneously keeping everyone else in line and on track throughout the day. Her assistant (who happens to be her wonderful mom) was so sweet and helpful and the second shooter was also fantastic! We received our photos back quickly and they are absolutely perfect! We are so beyond thrilled with how they turned out! Would 11/10 recommend her to anyone looking to have their wedding documented in the most beautiful way!!! -

I was already raving about Mandi after our engagement photos, but I have to again for our wedding photos after having seen them on her website and the sneak peaks she gave us. Mandi is an absolute genius when it comes to light. We had an after-dark ceremony with lots of lanterns, candles, and other lighting elements, and the photos perfectly captured the fairy tale it felt like. I know it can't be easy shooting a wedding at night, but Mandi just thrived. She is excellent at styling, at capturing candid, genuine moments, and she is so much fun to work with. She is also very intuitive and professional. She's a gem! -

She let us pick another package or different session. So we picked maternity even though it was two years until we were expecting we scheduled our shoot and the photos are amazing! If you need a photographer Mandi is the one!
