My honey and I woke up one day, decided we wanted to finally make it official. A simple but memorable wedding instead of just a court wedding. We were a bit particular about our search for an officiant due to the fact that we are two females looking to get married. Luckily Cheryl is on top of it and made it easy for us to find her. Cheryl made sure to share that she was LGBTQ friendly. We also saw in the reviews, pictures of a lesbian couple which was married by Cheryl and gave us all the reassurance we needed. Once my wife Melanie contacted her , we right away heard back from Cheryl and gave us all the info we needed. We knew she was the ONE plus ONLY $300. Cheryl was definitely within our budget. Cheryl was such an important part to helped us make it a special day. So we thank you 🫶🏽

A Truly Special and Heartfelt Wedding Experience
We couldn’t be happier with our wedding experience! Our officiant was incredibly patient and kind throughout the entire process. What really touched us was how her husband even took the day off work to help capture the moment with photos. Although the weather was gloomy and the pictures came out a little dull, she went above and beyond by offering us a refund—which we refused because the effort, heart, and care they both put in were truly priceless.
One of the most unforgettable moments was when our best man—our little chihuahua—was scooped up by the officiant and included in some of the photos during the ceremony. It made the day feel extra special and personal to us.
Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made our wedding a beautiful and memorable experience. We’re so grateful we chose them and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for an officiant who goes the extra mile.

Through Cheryl’s process, she learns about you and harnesses the spirit of your relationship and curates a ceremony that is meaningful, inspiring, and personal.
We also added on the photography package for our small group( 2 brides, 2 bridesmaids and 1 groomsman which happen to be our children). They stayed to take as many pictures as we wanted. Cheryl even helped fluff my dress and hold lighting for photos as well as made suggestions. They were easy going, fun and laughed with our family. Thoroughly enjoyable. You will not be disappointed.

I had the best blessing of finding Cheryl in my journey planning my intimate ceremony. We initially planned a court wedding, however getting married in December and with elections, there was no court wedding being held. I had only 2 weeks to plan a ceremony and with Cheryl’s help, I was able to find a location for my ceremony at a very short notice. 25th Anniversary Vow Renewal
I found Cheryl through a Google search in hopes of surprising my husband with a vow renewal for our 25th anniversary. I reached out to her and I was throughly impressed with her professionalism, kindness, and sincerity. Everything about our experience surpassed my expectations! She recommended a location, got to know a bit about us as a couple through phone and email conversations and when I was overthinking details on how to get my husband down to the beach, she provided a solution and eased my stress. Upon meeting her, it became evident that she has a passion and calling for what she does. The words she spoke in our vow renewal were a beautiful reminder of a 25 year marriage filled with love, laughter, acceptance, forgiveness and everything in between! She truly brought us full circle!

Our wedding planner recommended Cheryl. Communication was great and there were ceremony options to choose from. We loved our elopement on Avila Beach. Cheryl was fantastic and easy to work with. Our ceremony was just as we asked her to perform it along with the by law verbiage she had to include. We asked her to read a special poem for us and she did ;) We had a last minute change of time for our rehearsal and she had no problem attending. She allowed us to give input on how we wanted certain things and also helped us with answers when we didn't know something. Cheryl's communication was great and we never waited on her replies. Lastly, all our paperwork was turned in by Cheryl promptly and we had our marriage license/certificate within a few days.

The website for her services was full of all the information I needed, and she was quick to respond after I completed the questionnaire form about my wedding plans. She was kind and was very caring about us following all needed requirements for the wedding license. Better Than We Could Have Ever Imagined!
From beginning to end, Cheryl and her husband provided a memorable experience. The ceremony was fantastic and the words spoken by Cheryl were meaningful and appropriate, and made both of us feel very special. In fact, my wife was brought to tears of happiness during the ceremony! We both appreciate the time, effort, and thoughtfulness that was devoted to our event. The memories will stay with us always, and we would highly recommend Cheryl to any couple that is looking for a personalized and loving experience.

Such amazing memories…
Cheryl was, from start to finish, so wonderful to work with on our special day! She was respectful, quick to respond to questions and flexible when we had to change the venue. Once she arrived she felt like part of the family, it was so comfortable and easy to work with her. I cannot think of anyone else we would have wanted to plan our wedding with, I simply can’t. Cannot recommended her enough.

A lovely experience
Cheryl was highly professional and was able to get through our paperwork with ease, within minutes of arriving at the beach (she even took care of turning in the paperwork for us!). The ceremony was a little lengthy but every word was beautiful and fit right into our nondenominational elopement. I cried, my now husband cried, our photographer cried, it was absolutely lovely. And Cheryl fit right into our chill vibe and rolled with the punches. The best officiant we could’ve asked for our mid week, beach fog elopement.

Excellent wedding officiant in the SLO/Paso area!
My now-husband and I found Cheryl's information on wedding wire about 6-7 months before our 2022 wedding, and from the first phone call we knew she would be the best fit to marry us. Cheryl put together a beautiful ceremony that was spiritual, poignant, and modern. We were extremely happy with our choice and would hire her again if we could go back and do it all over!

From the moment I emailed Cheryl inquiring about her services and calendar availably she has been so nice and helpful. She was quick to respond to my questions and made out ceremony personal to just us. Her words were soothing and so meaningful, everyone complimented how beautiful her words were, love was definitely in the air. Cheryl was everything we hoped for in an officiant and more. Even better than I imagined!
Cheryl was SO wonderful to work with. She was so friendly and just had a really amazing energy from every email, phone call, and then in person. My husband and I were just going to have a friend of the family do the online officiant course and call it a wedding, but we decided to go with Cheryl and it was probably one of the best decisions we could have made for our big day. She showed up exactly on time, told us everything we needed to do and how it was going to all happen (which was such a relief because even though we weren't nervous to get married, we were nervous to mess something up! hahaha) She has a large selection of readings to choose from (you can ask for different ones too but we went with two that she had) and knew exactly how to handle our wedding on the beach (asking if everyone could hear her over the waves and small touches like that.....when I got emotional she'd ask if I was okay and and when I replied yes she responded "I think so too." I know it sounds silly but it all felt really personal even though we only met her 30 minutes earlier!
I can't thank Cheryl enough for our awesome day, and we would recommend her to EVERYONE we know.

A Beautiful Experience
Cheryl was absolutely wonderful. She not only created a beautiful ceremony that took the words right out of our hearts, but she was attentive & informative. She quickly made us feel we had made the right choice for an officiant from the very first conversation. Her pricing is very reasonable, too! All in all we couldn’t have been happier.

The Perfect officiant for “YourSpecial Day”.
We knew we wanted to get married on the beach in the Pismo area. Cheryl was so amazing, she was so helpful with tons of knowledge about getting married in the area. She was very quick to respond to any question we had.
The absolute best though was the Beautiful, Wise and Encouraging words she spoke for “Our Special Day”. In our case we choose to meet Cheryl on the beach. Just the two of us with her officiating. A simple , personal and meaningful day on a beautiful beach not to far from home. The sun was shining and our service was beautiful.
No matter how Big or Small. Cheryl does an amazing job.

Perfect Wedding!
Cheryl did an amazing ceremony! She was very responsive to our requests and it could not of turned out better. It was a beach wedding with only 12 guests. She was professional, caring and funny. She put us at ease from the beginning! She helped us create the absolute perfect ceremony for us. I highly recommend using Cheryl for your wedding you will not be disappointed! Exceptional Wedding Officient
Cheryl was Wonderful! She was so friendly from the moment we first started talking. She was very professional. My husband and I renewed our vows on our 25th wedding anniversary and it was Perfect all the way around! The ceremony was perfect, her husband took photos before, during and after our ceremony. We were all laughing and just enjoyed our very special anniversary. I highly recommend Cheryl!

Cheryl was so accommodating and patient!
Since neither me nor my spouse had any idea of how the procession should go, she briefly walked us through and prepared us. On the day, everything was smooth!

Married 04/20/21 Cheryl's ceremony was exactly what we wanted, short and sweet. We were running late and she was very understanding. Her husband did an amazing job with the photos, took way more than expected. Our family enjoyed their company. They stayed later than our cut off time and continued to take photos of our all guests. GREAT JOB!!
