Beautiful sound and wonderful people
This ensemble was the perfect edition to the special occasion of my wedding. My husband and I had wanted a classy feel not just for the ceremony but also the reception. They completely knocked it out of the park! They played all the songs we had wanted with such elegance and it really created such a wonderful atmosphere. Brian was the main contact and he was always quick to respond and schedule things out with us! They were perfectly on time, set up, and ready super quick. The professionalism was evident and wonderful. They were also super kind and flexible. We had a lot of speeches in our wedding and they had helped us use their speakers for this, as well as played some complicated first dance songs that weren’t necessarily classical. It eventually did rain that evening and they even continued to play as they packed up to leave! Overall their professionalism, kindness, communication, flexibility, and talent helped keep things smooth and easy for me while planning and on the day of. Their talent is also far beyond what I could have imagined! Honestly I would have paid triple what they asked because of how wonderful they are! I would 10000% recommend this group to anyone for any occasion (as it made my day feel magical and classy :) )

Cello and Guitar Duet Dreams
Thank you so much for the cello and guitar duet!! This flexibility in instrumentation allowed us to bring myself as a cellist and my now husband as a guitarist into the ceremony. They played so beautifully and made me cry as I heard "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera start as I began walking down the aisle. The music selection excel spreadsheet and the set list questionnaire helped us organize our wishes effectively. Thanks so much again!!

I hired Cherrywood String Quartet and Ensemble for my wedding day at Historic Shady Lane and was highly impressed with their team! They were responsive to any questions we had during the planning process. In addition, they were flexible about the set list and able to accommodate and add songs that were important to my husband and I journey. During the day of, they helped set the mood for our ceremony. Made the big day PERFECT!
Cherrywood String Quartet and Ensembles was an amazing vendor to work with. From the beginning, we knew we wanted to include a string quartet at our ceremony and cocktail hour. I am so glad our search led us to Cherrywood String Quartet.
Their music list was super extensive. So many amazing options to choose from. They performed every song beautifully— our guests enjoyed it so much.
Brian was our point of contact and he was great! We realized very late that we didn’t have a microphone for our officiant and Brian added it to our contract with no problem.
I would recommend Cherrywood String Quartet and Ensembles to everyone looking to add strings to their big day. They are so easy to work with, exceed expectations, and make the day so magical.

Well-Worth It, Cherrywood Enhanced Our Ceremony
Cherrywood did an amazing job and enhanced our ceremony! We paid for the cello and guitar, and they sounded amazing. We got several compliments from our guests about how great they sounded. They filled all our requests and were so easy to work with. We are really happy that we decided to go with Cherrywood for the ceremony, because it made a huge difference. Would definitely recommend!

Everyone loved them!
Everyone loved listening to the quartet play before and after the ceremony. We chose almost exclusively contemporary songs which gave off bit of a Brigerton vibe. The sound of the live strings elevated the event beyond my expectations. It was truly beautiful.

You won't regret it!!!
I am so so so happy we went with Cherrywood Strings for my wedding! We hired a duet for our small intimate ceremony in a Catholic Church and a full quartet for our large wedding reception the following day. Family and friends were raving about the music all night, saying they played wonderfully and that it was so tasteful! We had classical pieces for our ceremony and had the quartet perform covers of modern songs for the cocktail hour. All of the songs were from their super expansive repertoire!! Extremely seamless experience.

Great Touch

Professional and Beautiful Service
We had a somewhat complex ceremony with cues that needed to be given by a priest etc. and cherrywood ensembles really delivered. Brian organized with us over the phone and the two musicians that came were really able to go with the flow and keep everything seeming professional and well rehearsed. We’re really happy with our ceremony and a large part of that is the perfect musical ensemble we had!

Fantastic Musicians!
Cherrywood String Ensembles was such a wonderful part of our wedding. All of our guests raved about how good they were even weeks after our wedding. An exact quote we received from one of our guests: "The string quartet was definitely the star of the show, second to the couple."
If you aren't looking for a quartet, they have other options for duo, trios, and some other instruments as well. Brian was wonderful to work with, and always quick with responses. They offer an expansive list of songs with a wide variety from classical to pop to Broadway/movies/tv shows/video games and everything in-between. Our only regret is not getting the opportunity to hear them as much as our guests.

The Perfect Touch to Any Wedding!
We found Cherrywood String Ensembles through our venue’s preferred vendor list and we are sooo glad we did because having a string trio/quartet was something I always envisioned as I walked down the aisle. Working with Brian was so easy and my favorite part was looking through their music set sheets of all the songs they can play. It was such a good problem to have when picking songs because you can decide if you want to go more classical or modern, name the song they know it! On top of that it was all so organized which made finding a song simple. All of our guests loved the music and I can’t recommend them enough!

Perfect Touch to Our Day
Brian and his group were the perfect touch to our Christmas wedding. The group performed a perfect collection of holiday music for our cocktail hour. Nick was a fantastic DJ. He was the perfect level of excitement for our group and was engaging and had a great sense of humor. He followed our wishes and responded to what we wanted as a couple. Overall I highly recommend the group! We had a different string quartet for our ceremony and wish we would have had Cherrywood do our entire day.

We found Brian and his team from Wedding Wire. They were excellent at our wedding! We had a string Quartet for our ceremony music for our winter wedding and from the beginning, planning was easy. Modern, Classic Ceremony + Cocktail Hour
We had a string quartet from Cherrywood String Ensembles play for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Brian was very professional and organized throughout the entire process. He sent us their entire library to make our selections for our set sheet. The music was a mix of classics as well as modern (we had our bridal party processional as Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay). The live string quartet played through the cocktail hour allowing some of our older guests sit back, watch, and enjoy music being played. I would highly recommend working with Brian and Cherrywood String Ensembles!

Breath taking

Amazing musicians!
In 2019, we booked Cherrywood for our May 2020 wedding. We were one of the COVID couples and when we went to postpone to the following May, Brian was so wonderful to work with and accommodating. They were luckily still available on our rescheduled date and were so flexible and affordable. I grew up in a very musical family. My father is a professional symphony conductor, my brother is a professional percussionist, and I grew up studying classical piano, so quality musicians were extremely important to me for the ceremony. Brian and his team were absolutely amazing. I was truly in awe listening to them during our wedding ceremony and I cannot wait to see the video, hear the music again and relive the moment. Thank you for everything Brian!

Absolute Perfection!
Cherrywood Ensembles was so so perfect from start to finish. Due to the pandemic my wedding was rescheduled... Brian was more than kind when accommodating this date and time change. All of the music played was so beautiful. I had a special request for my entrance as well as the bridal party's and it was a very obscure song. Cherrywood Ensembles played this song so beautifully it immediately brought tears to my eyes. The whole experience was like a dream.

A dream to work with (and listen to!)
Cherrywood Strings was phenomenal and I can't recommend them highly enough. Due to their flexibility, extensive music selection and astounding musical talents, Cherrywood was a joy to work with and a highlight of our wedding.
Flexibility - Brian was so easy to work with and very responsive when COVID-19 forced my fiancé and I to rethink our wedding plans. We were originally going to have a quartet, but when our wedding invite list dropped to just a few guests for an intimate ceremony, we went with a duet instead. Brian was highly accommodating and the music was perfect for the wedding size.
Music selection & sound - Not only did Cherrywood arrange custom songs beautifully, but they also made the music selection process so easy and fun. Every song had special meaning and they created a beautiful atmosphere.

Beautiful music for our church wedding
I cannot thank Brian and team enough for the amount of compassion and flexibility when it came to our originally scheduled 4/4/20 wedding. Rescheduling for July and then finally celebrating in October, Brian was able to accommodate! Cherrywood Strings played our catholic ceremony. Music selection can be overwhelming, Brian made it a breeze! The team also communicated great with my sister in law who was singing to one of the songs. The music was absolutely beautiful on our wedding day, this string trio the was perfect choice :)

A No Brainer
Cherrywood Strings was without a doubt, one of my favorite details about our wedding!! Super easy to work with and very flexible, fairly priced, they also have a wide range of music to choose from. Very talented and are obviously experienced, as there were no weird lulls or breaks, it flowed really well. Our guests raved about how nice of a touch they were. I highly recommend working with them for your event!

July 11 2020 Wedding
Cherrywood Strings helped make my wedding day extra special. We selected The Beatles repertoire. Our guests were familiar with all the songs Cherrywood Strings played. We had to change our initial wedding date due to COVID and Cherrywood Strings was very accommodating with our new wedding date. Very fast at responding and overall, wonderful to work with. Made my ceremony SO memorable
Brian and Cherrywood really helped to make our ceremony extra magical! I requested that they learn to play Taylor Swift "Lover" and they learned it beautifully at a very reasonable charge. The music was elegant and really gave the whole room a nice ambience.

Magical experience
We had an outdoor wedding in September. The sound of the creek and the beautiful strings of the quartet made it almost magical. We enjoyed the whole process of choosing our songs, mixing it up with some classics and modern. The repertoire was extensive and Brian was great to work with. We highly recommend these fine professionals.

Wonderful Touch to Our Wedding
We chose Cherrywood String Ensembles to play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Brian was very responsive with emails. On the actual wedding day, the string quartet was amazing. Great to work with! Beautiful music!
Brian was so great to work with! He responded quickly, and was able to accommodate all of our song choices. We hired cello & violin and they were perfect for our intimate ceremony and cocktail hour. Our only regret is that we were taking photos during most of the cocktail hour so we didn't personally get to enjoy them as much as we would have liked, but we received high compliments from all of our guests on their music. Don't hesitate to hire them!

My Son’s Wedding

We used Cherrywood’s string trio for our ceremony music and for cocktail hour at the Goggleworks on 6/30/18. They listened to every request we had for our ceremony and cocktail hour! They sounded amazing! The music was beautiful and we received many compliments from our guests! I only wish I could’ve heard more of the cocktail hour! They are also quick to respond to any questions you might have leading up to your event, putting your mind at ease. I highly recommend using Cherrywood for your string needs! They are wonderful!

Cherrywood String Ensembles provided music for the ceremony and cocktail hour at our wedding on May 19th. We had a string trio - violin, cello, and harp - and it was simply stunning! Since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted a string quartet at my wedding. I have played the violin and piano since elementary school, so having strings at my wedding was a must. Brian was extremely accommodating and had all of the songs that I wanted in his repertoire. Although I didn't get to hear too much of the music, the guests all said that it was beautiful. The parts that I heard were perfect, and I'm so happy I hired them!

We worked with Brian and Cherrywood Strings for our wedding in October 2016. Brian and the ensemble were incredibly easy to work with, and played all of our ceremony music beautifully. They were incredibly professional, organized, and most importantly, very talented. They had all of the songs available that we wanted for our wedding, and were able to select additional songs for the prelude and recessional based on our preferences. I would highly recommend Cherrywood Ensembles for your wedding or special event. We had a trio play during our ceremony and cocktail reception. Brian was extremely responsive to emails and very easy to work with - we requested specific songs from Cherrywood's repertoire (which is extensive and full of great selections) for the ceremony, and then asked Brian to choose the remaining songs from the "popular" category of music. We have heard so many compliments from our guests about the quality of the performance and song selections - they (and we) really liked how Cherrywood plays so many current and contemporary songs that everyone will recognize. It was a fun element to our day. The performers were excellent, and we are so happy that we hired Cherrywood.

We did a mixture of pop and classic. We were set on a DJ playing at the cocktail hour and ceremony; however, two months before changed our minds. We were exceptionally pleased with the service that we received from Cherrywood Ensembles, who played our wedding service and cocktail hour. Brian was a pleasure to work with, particularly in arranging to play a special song that was not part of their repertoire but that my wife wanted to walk down to the aisle to. The musicians were extremely professional, flexible, and the music was excellent. They play a wide variety of songs, which includes both traditional classical music and string versions of contemporary songs. Cherrywood helped make our special day memorable, and we will be forever grateful to them for that.

We had Cherrywood Strings provide music at my daughter's recent wedding. We had a cello and violin. The music was exquisite and the musicians were so professional and gracious. They were the perfect complement to our very special day.

Cherrywood was perfect for our wedding ceremony. We went with the string trio and they did an amazing job and we received many remarks that the strings were great. The string quarter was a lovely addition to my ceremony and cocktail hour. I was able to choose classic wedding music for the ceremony and then add a contemporary flare for some pop music during my cocktail hour. The guests raves about the beauty the string quartet added to my wedding. I cannot thank you enough!

Cherrywood String Quartet and Ensembles was a wonderful addition to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! They accommodated special requests, and were very helpful with nailing down a good song list for our event. We also ran into a bit of bad weather and they were able to quickly and quietly move to a dry place and keep the music going : )
I would absolutely recommend them for any future event!

I could not have made a better choice than Cherrywood String Quartet to play during the cocktail hour of my daughter's wedding reception! The music selection was so vast, it was so much fun deciding what to include on our request list. I had numerous guests ask me the name of the quartet and everyone had only good things to say. Had it been my choice, I would have foregone the DJ and just had the quartet play for the entire reception. All arrangements were completed by e-mail and so easy! I thought the price was very, very reasonable, well worth it. The whole experience was wonderful. If you're looking for a professional, quality quartet, definitely book Cherrywood String Quartet. I thank them for making my daughter's day so special.
