Highly Recommend: This Place Made Our Wedding Special

Our wedding at this venue was a complete success! My wife and I were delighted. The place is beautiful, ideal for celebrating. The staff took wonderful care of us, always attentive to everything. And the food was delicious! All our guests were happy. We enjoyed every moment of our special night. Thanks to Marco for making our wedding an unforgettable event!

Had an excellent experience for my son’s Mehendi ceremony here. Left us and our guests very happy.

A beautiful venue with delicious and ample quantity of food of every dish, friendly and helpful attitude of the event organizer Ms. Ghazala, wonderful and prompt service of Mr. Mario and his crew members made my son’s Mehendi ceremony a huge success. They were able to provide decent and affordable decors too. I had a very stress free evening. Overall, Cherry Blossom left me, the new couple, our families and friends very satisfied and happy. I would happily choose this place for my next important events as well.

Easy to work with and professional

We used Cherry Blossom Banquet Hall for our reception and had a wonderful experience. Ghazala, the manager was professional and very easy to work with and the staff on the day of the event was very accommodating to all our needs. The food was excellent and the staff executed the entire program just as we had planned. We definitely would recommend this place for it's value, services and professionalism!

As a guest of our friend wedding we visited cherry blossom. The place was clean and spacious. Food was great. Outside space was beautiful where we enjoyed view of the pond and cherry blossom.

Great place for weddings

We had our wedding here on November 22, 2020 with the help of Ghazala, my vendors were able to perfect the vision we had for our guests on our big day. Everyone is still raving about the customer service. The venue is beautiful and it’s best to book early as possible. We booked in advance and it was the best decision we made.

We booked this venue sort of last minute and the owners were very accommodating. The venue was beautiful and hosted our guests perfectly. We are very happy with our decision to have my sisters wedding here. Thank you for the wonderful venue and hospitality.

We are so happy with Cherry blossom Banquet hall and their services. Manager Ghazala is a very sweet and responsible person to work with. She delivered what she promised. I would recommend this place for all small to medium gatherings. They can turn this hall into a beautiful party place.

Amazing Experience

We had a post wedding reception held here and it went off flawlessly. The decor was absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing. The entire experience was wonderful! Ghazala worked very professionally with myself and the hotel where the wedding was set. She insured that everything was set up and organized in a timely fashion. We loved our experience with The Cherry Blossom Restaurant & Banquet halls. They were quick to communicate and really understood how special the day was for us. It was pretty easy to work with the staff, they are pretty quick to get back with you on anything. We loved the Bridal Room it was very spacious; It’s also great that you have the venue all day, it really helps for decorating and also for getting ready. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious. Overall it was a great experience and I wouldn’t change a thing. We loved everything about this venue and would definitely recommend them. Best place ever for our best day ever!

Cherry Blossom is an awesome place to do your wedding. Our wedding came out greater than what we expexted. Food is awesome “everyone in my wedding said the food was great, fresh and warm” Ghazala did a great job to make the event great and she was doing her best to do all of our requests. Decoration, table and centerpiece was great great great. I really would recommend this place to anyone especially when the price is comparable.

Ms. Ghazala Ali & team helped us in hosting Valima event & even in the busiest month of December .... they didn’t let us down ! The team is so kind & polite that they made everything hassle free and easy to work with. Food was AAAHmazing .... I still crave for those chicken rolls . What a great time had by all!

My wife and I attended her niece's wedding on 11/17/18 and we had a wonderful time. Everything about the evening was great. The hall was fairly large and nicely decorated. Overall it was very impressive. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Ms G and Marco were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome. The staff was very attentive and saw to it that we had everything we needed. I would recommend this venue for any kind of event or occasion.

Ammazzzinng! Best venue

This is the first time I've ever written a review about anything. This was the best decision to go with this venue. If you're looking for a beautiful, professional, elegant, stress-free experience; this is your place. Hands down I would like to say Ghazala was absolutely amazing!!! She really worked with us and our budget and completely exceeded all of our expectations. Anytime I called with any questions she was always available. If you are looking for someone who cares and who can deliver what your looking for, Ghazala is the one. You could tell she's been in the business for a long time. She completely went above and beyond our expectations. Everything was better than I expected. The food!!!!! All of our 180 guests said this was the best food they ever had at a wedding! Everyone is still talking about how amazing the food was even a month later!! I can't express how much I loved working with Ghazala and this wonderful team. The banquet hall itself is absolutely stunning. If you are thinking about booking this venue I promise you won't regret it!!!

Art of stage and table preparation, zeal of photographers, DJ and Staff shared the love and excitement through the Bride’s (Hina Celebrations), and Wedding Days. The lights on silky veils, next to flowers on the stage, and the music with the changing lights, dazzles your senses, and engaged us in the joy. The food and dances with soft lights and vibrant music strung our eyes and hearts in joy. Hearts, souls and steps in the air and danced with families and friends. Praised by the Bride, Groom’s parents, friends and guests for the details of artistry of stage, table’s presentation, food tastes and decors, and services antiquates. Entrance is elegant with lake on the right perfect for pre and post wedding photos and serving sweets and coffee. When you enter the venue you see a beautiful display of soft and soothing light on the trees, spotless entrance, with elegant bridal suite. Entering the hall with beautiful and large display of wedding announcement and seating guides was liked by each guest. Elegant table flowers, plating and hall décor you notice as soon as you reach your table. When you sit you start to notice details of the rooms, stage with silk veils and lights bouncing from it that takes your breath away. Entrance of the bride and groom well coordinated with music and drum pumped hearts of each and raised them on their feet. Fragrance in the environment and smell and colors of the food and plates elevates your sprit with joy. Conversations and laughter’s with family and friends, while the senses of the taste buds are being played stored memories of a life time. Ghazala and all the staff ensured a memorable experience for our nikah party. The food, chosen from the Afghani menu, was outstanding. The linens, china, and silverware are topnotch. The vendors that Cherry Blossom works with are very professional. For example, the stage setup was everything I had hoped it would be. It was dreamy and elegant. The staff also accommodated my chosen vendors such as the photographer and the DJ. Our guests were happy and well fed. The venue was beautiful and the outside surroundings are surprisingly nice given the location which is set back from the main road on Route 7. Overall a great experience that I would recommend to anyone.

My sister had her wedding at Cherry blossom in 2012 and we had the best service. Everything from food, setup, staffs, and service was beyond our expectations. The staffs at Cherry Blossom really went above and beyond to make my sister’s day memorable. Our guests loved the Afghan food, it was delicious and very authentic. The venue was very affordable and within my sister’s budget. Two of my friends got married here in 2014 and 2016 – both were happy! I would highly recommend using this venue, it’s the perfect spot for any weddings.

Ghazala and her staff make everything run as smoothly and perfectly as possible! There was so much she did to help with the process of planning, working with her was a treat. She is so sweet and kind, the best event coordinator I have ever worked with. This venue is an incredibly convenient all-in-one; they offer fantastic in-house catering (which is very hard to come by for Desi weddings!), very beautiful complementary centerpieces and table setups, and very recently have started doing their own stage decor. The food is absolutely AMAZING, all of our guests have been raving about it. It's all halal friendly as well, and they offer a wide variety of menus. The venue itself is also very lovely, with a spacious room to the side for the bride to get ready in. I absolutely loved my experience at Cherry Blossom, and having it there was a good part of why my wedding felt absolutely perfect.

My brother wedding at Cherry Blossom was truly awesome.Me and my family which mostly came from Canada were so pleased with the Venue.We received so many wonderful compliments! The menu and food was fantastic.

Ghazala and the staff of Cherry Blossom were so nice and helpful! We had multiple changes and added more than 40 extra people after the reservations. They accommodated us very quickly and the food was plenty and delicious. The stage was beautiful and the design of the party room was gorgeous!

We got married on August 26th and worked with Ghazala to plan our big day. She was nothing short of amazing and accommodating for any and everything we asked for, even with regards to adding more tables on the day of the event! The entire staff was awesome, the hall is very nice and has a great view for being right off rt 7. Highly recommend to any couple looking to the best overall bang for your buck all around!

I met Ms. Ghazala she is the wedding planner there.She is really helpful person took care of everything. The food was awesome, specially the Kublai Palau. Speak with Ghazala. She is extremely professional and experienced. She gave us many great ideas for the event and was very helpful throughout the process. She recommended us the best foods from the Cherry Blossom restaurant to have for our reception. She also went out of her way to accommodate us with special requests. I would certainly recommend Cherry Blossom Hall and Ghazala because the hall in its self is a beautiful venue and Ghazala is a breath of fresh air to work with.

Cherry Blossom Restaurant in Sterling, VA catered our food for our wedding. It is Afghan, Indian/Pakistani food, which was absolutely delicious! Joan worked with us to provide a delicious menu of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. They also included salad, naan, and other items that I didn't even know where apart of the menu.

Everyone at the wedding raved at how amazing the Afghan food was - my family is a bunch of meat lovers, so we had lamb, beef, and chicken. We also had 2 of our other friends who had their weddings here after tasting our food! I would highly recommend Joan and her team without hesitation - her team helped set up chairs, decorations, and set up in addition to catering, which was a huge plus! Joan is so sweet, patient, and professional. Can't wait to eat here again!

Ghazala, the Head event coordinator at Cherry Blossom Banquet Hall, is amazing. She went over and above to ensure our day was well executed. Great place for engagement/wedding!

My engagement party at cherry blossom was everything I can ask for. Ghazala helped us throughout the process. I only had one month to plan a 100 people engagement reception and Ghazala was flexible with us. She made sure we got everything we asked for. The food was excellent. We had concerns with the food at a different event hosted at cherry blossom but Ghazala listened to all our concerns and perfected the food. I did not stop getting compliments about the food all night. Also, everything was set up as discussed. Everyone had an amazing time. I would recommend this place to anyone. The only issue I had was the bridal room was crowded with extra tables and chairs. It wasn’t a pleasant place to sit and wait. Also, the lake was not viewable for pictures since the trees were so high and green (August). Other than that everything else went smooth.

Excellent Banquet Facility to host a Classy Event

Great night at Cherry Blossom

Recently got married at Cherry Blossom and it was a wonderful night.

Ghezala and the team at Cherry Blossom was involved in the planning process the whole time, and helped make our night really special.

The food was wonderful; up to the standards of my Afghan in-laws.

The team was very adaptable and helped us through rough weather on the day of the wedding.

Would recommend Cherry Blossom.

I loved having my reception at Cherry Blossom. The staff was great and the hall is beautiful! I highly recommend checking out Cherry Blossom. We all know how stressful planning a wedding can be, so after the meetings a nice perk is you can eat next door to the connecting restaurant.

I had my nikkah at Cherry Blossom. The food was phenomenal but the service left a little to be desired. I felt honestly Ghazala didn't have time to address my questions or concerns. The staff themselves was phenomenal but I don't think Ghazala is the right representative for the venue.

Do not waste your time, the manager Gahzala was very rude to my guest on the day of my wedding, she closed the front entrance on my guest, screaming at them to get out of her venue after We spent 11,750.00 for 7 hours. Me and my husband cried like kids we were treated horribly. I will never recommend this place to anyone, Gahzala took an extra $750.00 from my wedding planner on the day of my wedding which is still not accounted for, she had verbal altercation with all of my vendors. Please take your event somewhere better like the Royal Banquet hall in Springfield, VA. Yayah the manager is more pleasant, I regret having my event at the Cherry blossom banquet hall in Sterling, VA. If you want to experience for yourself call her for your next event 5714514787

My Experience with Cherry Blossom was awefull

Their venue may be bright and colorful but they have an awful financial system. They took 95% of the cost of my daughter's wedding in advance. When the Covid hit two years ago, the event never took place. They have been giving me a run-around in terms of refunding my money. They promised to pay on monthly basis but still owe me a significant amount. They have stopped responding to my phone calls and text message. I have been waiting for my full refund for two years now. Is there anybody responsible in this organization, who would respond to my complaint? Anybody booking their venue, be aware and not pay 100% in advance. You will have a tough time getting your money refunded.

Worst experience

Worst experience.very rude staff disappointing service. I paid $75 per person for 100 people and only 70 people showed up and they were out of food by 9pm and the event was supposed to last till 1am.Felt too much embarrassment in front of my guests.

Unprofessional and unreliable

we've just recently had my sister's wedding at cherry blossom banquet and i have to say we are very disappointed with the management and the staff. months before the wedding we have met with the manager a couple to times to make sure all the preparations will be done right on the wedding day, and we were promised that everything will be ready for us when we arrive. however, that was not the case. we had problems with the lighting. when we arrived the staff told us that the dance floor light projectors were not working! all of our photos and videos came out super dark due to this. the second issues we had was the screen projector. we paid extra to rent a screen projector to view a video during the event, but when we attempted to use it, the sound was not working and the projector was not aligned with the screen. we asked them to fix it for is but we were told that they can't do anything! the third issue was the DJ system that we rented from them had this robotic sound that made the songs sound awful, and of course they couldn't fix that either. not to mention that all the staff that were present at the event did not speak english AT ALL, and we had to use hand gestures to tell them what we need. the day after the event we contacted the management and informed them of our issues and asked them to find a solution to the problems that we faced, but 2 weeks after trying to get a response from them we didn't even receive an apology, instead they denied everything, even though we have the full event on tape which proves all of the issues we faced. I would not recommend this banquet if you are planning on having a stress free wedding/ event.
