I recently got married and Kiyoko and her team were my florists. I could not have been more impressed and amazed with the job they did! They made my venue look absolutely stunning. Our guests had the nicest things to say about all of the arrangements and were more than happy to take them home with them at the end of the night. Kiyoko was a pleasure to work with! We had to postpone our wedding and she quickly and graciously accommodated our new date. She was always quick to respond to all emails. Most importantly, she really listened to the vision I was going for an executed it exactly how I had dreamed. I look back at my wedding pictures and I’m in awe of her work. I would recommend her in a heartbeat for anyone who is looking for an amazing professional florist!

Stunning Florals
Kiyoko was such a pleasure to work with in our wedding planning process! We absolutely LOVED our florals for our wedding day! We wanted our summer wedding to be full of color, and Kiyoko understood our vision and exceeded our expectations. I shared my Pinterest board with her and she was able to bring my dream to life! Kiyoko is very lovely and kind and her communication via email was very prompt. I was so grateful for the ability to re-use florals from our ceremony at our reception as well and felt that the pricing was very fair. We used Cherry Blossom Floral Design for our flowers for our recent wedding. Florals were the vendor I had the hardest time nailing down. I had reached out to so many, but none were a fit until we found Cherry Blossom! Many of the other florists’ designs weren’t my style, or required a minimum we wouldn’t have been able to meet with our small wedding. Kiyoko was a dream to work with! Not only was she so kind, congratulatory and sweet, she was prompt in responding to emails and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. Day of, the florals were even more beautiful that I could have imagined. We’re so glad we went with Cherry Blossom for our wedding florist. We would recommend Kiyoko and her team to any couple for their big day or other big event!

Beautiful designs and colors, made my wedding vision a reality!
Kiyoko and her team are beyond incredible and I cannot recommend her enough. I had reached out to several florists for quotes and Kiyoko was the only person who consistently responded without me having to follow up. She was so informative and very open to our ideas while providing great suggestions. I had a VERY particular vision in mind for our wedding florals including a very specific lavender color and a wild look, and I was floored at how perfect they were on the day of. I couldn’t stop staring at my bouquet because I was just so obsessed with it! She was even nursing a leg injury on our wedding day and still showed up and kicked butt with her team. She’s amazing!

Stunning Floral Design
Kiyoko of Cherry Blossom Floral Designs was a pleasure to work with. In addition to being talented and hard-working, she's kind and gracious. Kiyoko was patient with me and helpful throughout the process of ordering floral arrangements for my daughter Jasmine's wedding celebration at the beach. Kiyoko and a helper delivered and set up the bright, colorful centerpieces a few hours before the start of the event, carrying the flowers to the tables set out at beach level, then misting the flowers a bit to keep them fresh for the reception. The flowers looked stunning and complemented the tablecloths, sea mist colored linens. I highly recommend Kiyoko of Cherry Blossom Floral Designs--she's an incredible artist!

Kiyoko was recommended to us through our wedding planner, I Do ...Weddings & Events, and we are so happy that she was! Kiyoko was flexible with our requests even as we were changing them in the months leading into our wedding day. Excellent Floral Job and Great Florist
Kiyoko did an amazing job with the flowers at our wedding this past weekend. We had a chuppah and it was absolutely beautiful and well put together. She made our vision come to light with the flowers exactly how we wanted them. The flower setup on our sweetheart table was also very beautiful. All the décor matched our theme of red and white floral colors.
She is amazing to work with and was able to accommodate each floral item we had requested for ourselves and the bridal party. Highly recommend Cherry Blossom Floral Designs.

Gorgeous florals and an amazing florist to work with!
Kiyoko was a joy to work with! She was very responsive, friendly, and organized - for those couples that have an idea of what they want but aren't trying to get bogged down in the details, this was perfect! We showed Kiyoko some Pinterest boards that we liked, and she did the rest! My husband made our arch from scratch and she also worked great with him to provide an amazing floral arch arrangement to fit our custom arch. She made the most beautiful bouquets in exactly the style that I wanted and a gorgeous flower crown for my 3-year old niece who was our flower girl. Kiyoko and her team were on time and ready to go on the day of - she really was a huge part in making our wedding so beautiful and special. Kiyoko was an absolute joy to work with! She was so friendly and had great attention to detail when meeting with us and drafting up our floral plan for our wedding in March 2023. We had a lot of small changes along the way and Kiyoko was very responsive and quick to update the floral plan accordingly. Our venue dealt with most of the logistics, but the flowers came out gorgeous, her work was seamless, and she did a fantastic job! Seriously, more beautiful than we even imagined. Kiyoko and her team are nothing short of AMAZING. With only one call to chat through my floral vision for our San Diego wedding, Kiyoko absolutely nailed every single floral piece on our special day! She understood what I wanted right away and when I found out the one flower I really wanted was out of season, she selected the perfect alternative that ended up looking exactly the same! Her care and attention to detail was so clear from the start, and seeing (and smelling!) everything the day of was phenomenal and really helped bring the look and feel of our wedding to life. I can't recommend Kiyoko enough! I filled out a questionnaire with the colors for the wedding and the types of flowers I generally like, and she put together a proposal with beautiful arrangements. I felt like she had read my mind. She was very flexible and accommodating with the small adjustments that we wanted. When my husband I met with her before the wedding we were really impressed with her professionalism, creativity, and organization skills. On the day of the wedding she arrived on time with our amazing arrangements that were just what I was hoping for and took care of getting everything set up. Simple, elegant, and a dream come true!
Kiyoko's floral designs were one of my favorite parts of my October 2022 wedding. I had originally thought florals weren't that important and was planning on doing all the décor myself. As my wedding quickly approached I realized I had overstretched myself and I reached out to Cherry Blossom Floral Designs with "I want simple, elegant, affordable, and calla lilies". Kiyoko took that sentence and turned it into the most stunning florals and décor I have ever seen, I can't believe how beautiful it turned out.

Kiyoko did an absolutely stunning job with the florals for our wedding. We didn’t really specific ideas on what we wanted for our florals, so we told Kiyoko that we were looking for something “elegant and romantic”, what our color scheme was, and showed her a few inspiration pictures, and she was able to put together perfect arrangements that fit our venue that we loved! The floral plan she presented us with had example pictures of what each item would look like, as well as a detailed list of the flowers that she would be using. She also provided some “upgrade” options that we could use (ex: bigger centerpieces, fancier vases) if we liked. She was so easy to work with and very responsive throughout the whole planning process and during the wedding. Additionally, her prices are very reasonable and she worked with us to find places where we could reuse pieces and save money as well. So many guests complimented the florals, and our coordinator said that she recommends Kiyoko now as well to her clients. We highly recommend Kiyoko and her team!!

Reliable and easy to work with
Kiyoko was professional and responsive at every step of the way. We got married in June 2022 and pushed ourselves to our limit in coordinating everything ourselves. However, Kiyoko was always reliable and easy and pleasant to work with. She prepared beautiful arrangements based on our ideas and tastes, quickly revised and updated our order when we asked for a late adjustment, and delivered the flowers to multiple locations exactly on time. Finally, she was friendly and courteous to our family and guests. We recommend her without qualification.

We had no idea where to start when we were looking for a wedding florist. We were surprised when we learned how much wedding florals cost and knew we wanted to keep it to a “smaller” budget but also really set a beautiful scene. Our wedding was outdoors with lots of greenery, so we wanted simple, elegant, beautiful florals that would add to and further accentuate the surroundings. Kiyoko was absolutely the best and we couldn’t recommend her more. We had no idea of what types of flowers we would want and she was able to take our pretty basic descriptions of what we wanted and make great, on budget recommendations. She also provided floating candle hurricane vases to add to our tablescape; she returned at the end of the reception to pick up the vases herself. She also took some of our flowers to be donated to nursing homes in the area which we appreciated. She was totally respectful of our budget and made suggestions on where we could save. She was so sweet and communicative- we had had trouble in the past with other vendors not getting back to us, and as we were planning from across the country, communication was key. Kiyoko was always quick to respond to emails and was more than happy to video chat with us. Thank you so much Kiyoko!

Kiyoko was absolutely phenomenal!! Our wedding style was romantic and elegant and she nailed our flowers. Our colors were navy and blush and Kiyoko came up with some creative ideas on how to incorporate navy into my bouquet, boutonnieres and arrangements. I only had ideas on pinterest of what kind of arrangements I was looking for and she exceeded our expectations. The flowers complimented every aspect of our wedding and gave it a very romantic vibe. I received sooo many compliments from my bouquet to all the arrangements. Kiyoko even had a spare boutonnière ready for our little ring bearer when he lost it during the pre-ceremony photos! Kiyoko was super responsive during the entire wedding planning process. Kiyoko DELIVERS!!! We, along with our guests, were absolutely blown away by the beautiful flowers that Kiyoko provided and arranged for our special day. I had difficulty at first explaining exactly what I wanted, but Kiyoko was so patient and made sure everything was EXACTLY to my liking. We wanted simple, classic, elegant (blue hydrangea, white with hints of rose gold) - we wanted to bring the east coast (via blue hydrangea) to the west coast - and she delivered - and then some! She went above and beyond to get us what we were looking for - including the beautiful white urns and the large planter boxes for the ceremony. I vividly recall walking to the head table and just being sooo happy to be surrounded by my favorite flower - fluffy blue hydrangeas!! It was so beautiful!!! Kiyoko is fabulous to work with! She is so patient with her customers. Wedding planning can get quite stressful but she really helps out as much as she can. She will work with how you would want for your flowers to look like and is organized! I loved all the flower arrangements the day of my wedding (December 16, 2017) !! And she does make beautiful flower crowns or flower halos. She even works with you to transfer your arrangements from ceremony to your venue with her team. She is also very sweet and friendly. Cherry Blossom Floral Design turned my vision into a reality! Prior to my wedding my husband and I met with Kiyoko and she is the sweestest and VERY professional and might I add she has a adorable office? Over the next couple months I sent Kiyoko visions of what I wanted to my ceremony and reception and she turned it into reality! I am very impressed with Kiyoko's customer service and My flowers were SO AMAZING! I cant thank you enough Kiyoko! I am not a big flower person and was sort of lost about what to do, what to select, and only heard that it can be really easy to go over budget with flowers. My planner suggested Cherry Blossom. Kiyoko worked with the theme I was trying to go for (classic garden with a modern edge) and definitely fit with my budget. I married out of state and worried about needing to see them in person but my planner said not to worry- you will love them! She was right. When the flowers arrived, my mind was blown!! The flowers were perfect and totally surpassed my expectations. Kiyoko was super responsive and flexible with certain changes that came up. Would definitely recommend!

Kiyoko was an absolute pleasure to work with - highly professional, very helpful, and always quick to respond. When we first met with her, I only had scattered ideas about what I liked and didn't like, and she really transformed these ideas into a cohesive vision. On the day of, the bouquets, boutonnières, and arrangements far exceeded my expectations! Kiyoko is a true artist and clearly has such a passion for what she does. I cannot rave enough about Kiyoko. Her work is so beautiful. She is organized, detailed-oriented and she can truly make your vision come true. I had a vision but it was sort of all over the place because I wanted everything I saw in magazines, pinterest, etc. She helped me streamline my design from the bouquet to the floral arrangements all the way to the individual flowers. I was also very particular with how I wanted everything, and she executed flawlessly with my vision. Kiyoko was really good with responding to my emails, she was always on time when we had our meetings in her office and she's an expert with florals. She was very good at helping me stay within my budget and she added some small touches on my wedding day which was a nice surprise to see. The transitions from the ceremony to reception was done beautifully by her team and she personally dropped off my bouquets at my hotel on the day of. The floral arrangements were all so beautiful, and everyone on her team were so nice and professional.

I went to the floral meeting without the client and gave her what information I had regarding what the client wanted and she created the brides dream wedding flowers for her wedding. She showed me some examples and it was more than I could have imagined for the day of the wedding. She was prompt and timely the day of. She even suggested reusing some of the ceremony flowers for the reception. She waited until the end of the ceremony to move the flowers, then put them in the reception area. They were amazing. Her designs were stunning and her attention to detail is marvelous (ie. she used cute pearl bead, weaved elastic bands for the corsages instead of just the ribbon/rubber band you usually see). She even came to two different locations at two different times to drop off the flowers for the pre-ceremony photo shoot. The flowers were executed flawlessly and lasted the entire day (and even for a week or more after). She was also extremely kind and professional. We would recommend her to anyone.

Kiyoko is just amazing! She has such a wonderful, creative eye. Everything she did was so phenomenal that they have yet to concept a word that truly encapsulates how beautiful everything was. We had a destination wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park and was facing the challenge of finding someone I could trust from over 300 miles away. I saw her work in a magazine and immediately looked her up. The pictures alone had me contacting her to set up an appointment. In person, Kiyoko is simply one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! She sat down with us and listened as we told her about our wedding ideas. When we were done, she began throwing ideas together and showing us concept pictures that were exactly as we had pictured (modern, unique). We knew instantly that we could trust all of our florals to her.
On the day of the wedding, I was handed my bridal bouquet and I could not believe how beautiful it was. Then I saw the rest of the venue. Elegant orchids hanging in glass ornaments dangled over the Koi Pond. A bright, silver manzanita sat beside our guest table displaying the favors we were going to give out. Enormous orchids held up by more silver manzanita sat as the centerpiece for each table. My husband and I were simply blown away! It was so much more than we had expected. I would very highly recommend Kiyoko and Cherry Blossom Floral Designs!! Her creations were simply flawless.

Working with Kiyoko was an absolute pleasure. She was very responsive to any questions I had along the way. Her responses showed that she really listened to what I had to say and took the time to understand my style and what I was looking for. She offered great suggestions without being overbearing or pushy. Almost all of the flowers that were used for the ceremony were done in a way that could be transferred into the reception room, really making me feel like I got more use and value out of them. If I ever need a florist again, she'd be the first person I'd contact and I've already recommended her to several of my friends with upcoming weddings!

Kiyoko's floral designs were beautiful and impressive, they looked more expensive then the actual cost. Kiyoko worked with our budget and was courteous, professional and punctual.

I can't say enough about Kiyoko and Cherry Blossom Floral Designs. Kiyoko is amazing; she listened to me and even made last minute updates that turned out beyond my wildest dreams! You must call Cherry Blossom! EVERYONE at my wedding was talking about the flowers from the ceremony and the reception. Unbelievable and so perfect! I was very specific and couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful nor could I stop staring at them. Definitely recommend and would use again in a heartbeat!!

Cherry Blossom Florals provided GORGEOUS floral designs for my event. I'm extremely picky with flowers. I even gave her a restricted list of what flowers to use. She found similar ones and the arrangements still came out spectacular! She was on time, very prepared, brought extra flowers, supplies, etc.
I highly recommend her! Visit her website for a better idea of her work. The photos here (as of 02/04/12) do not do justice to her AMAZING work!

Kiyoko did a wonderful job with our wedding flowers. She met with us multiple times during the planning process, including at the venue itself. She took our initial ideas and added a spectacular touch. My bouquet turned out even more beautiful than I had imagined - she included my requested chrysanthemums, found just the right flowers to add the deep purples I loved, and included succulents without making the bouquet look too heavy. She added wonderful “floating” succulents to our ceremony pieces and made beautiful Ikebana style arrangements for our welcome table and reception. We loved her work and would highly recommend her to anyone planning a wedding!

Kiyoko from Cherry Blossom Florist has unique arrangements and is very talented! I told Kiyoko the colors I wanted and I left the rest to her! She did awesome. My bouquet had roses, succulents, monkey tails as well as other flowers....it was so beautiful! We received so many compliments on flowers. Her arrangements made the reception room shine! Kiyoko was there to help from the beginning of the wedding to the end! She is awesome!

The flowers were absolutely gorgeous from Dawn's Cherry Blossom Floral Design for my wedding. I had a good idea of what i wanted (i gave her 2 flowers i wanted to incorporate in specific colors) and explained what type of centerpiece i wanted and type of bouquet, and she did the rest. We communicated solely through email, which was helpful since i was located out of state. The flowers looked 10x better than i ever imagined in my head. Dawn doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to planning, so be prepared for her short and to the point responses. She also easily accommodated my last minute request to have loose rose petals boarding my aisle. They were nicely laid out when i walked down the aisle! I would recommend her services!
My wedding included 15 centerpieces of 18 in. vases with submerged orchids, 1 cascading bridal bouquet, 4 bridesmaid bouquets, 7 boutonnieres, 2 corsages, and the loose flower petals for the aisle. This was plenty of flowers to make the wedding look wonderful!
