Greatest DJ Ever!!!!!!!!!!!

Marvin with Check 1 2 Disc Jockey’s was absolutely the best person we could have hired for our wedding. He was extremely attentive to all of our needs before the wedding and what we were looking for. On the day of the wedding, he made sure to touch base with myself or my husband to make sure there were no changes or to see if there was something else he could do. He definitely made our day super special. He kept all of our guests entertained and also adlibbed during a time when my dress was having issues and he was very adept at continuing the party while I got that straightened out. Our families had an absolute blast with him during that time. We were so happy that we made a place for him at one of our tables because in the end he really did feel like part of the family. They say a DJ can make or break a wedding and with Marvin as our DJ, he definitely made it a very special and fantastic evening. We wholly recommend Marvin for any and all events you may have.

Bride- amazing experience

We have used this company many times because of the impeccable service! From the beginning of the ceremony to the end of the night, he was a wonderful announcer and helped our evening flow. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful!!

Marvin was amazing to work with! Leading up to the wedding, he was very quick to respond and enjoyable to talk to when we walked through the evenings events and song selections. It was such a blessing to not worry about the timeline or music after our conversation and form completion. I had songs to suggest but really enjoyed that he would read the room and play music the guests enjoyed. Do yourself a favor and hire Marvin for your event. Excellent!!!!!

It was a large formal wedding outside and sit down dinner inside. Marvin provided all music during the service and then throughout dinner and our reception party. He was beyond amazing, dressed to impress, had the best music, all my guests were very complimentary of him, and best of all, he was down to earth and I felt like I had made a friend even after the event was finished. I highly recommend because you will not be disappointed!!!!!

Very Professional and Wonderful Service

What can I say!! The check 1 2 team did a fantastic job!! The party never stopped and the DJ went above and beyond as an MC. The photo booth was an added bonus that all of my guests love. It was totally worth having!! You won’t be disappointed when you book check 1 2 Disc Jockey!!!

Dj that felt like family by the end of the night.

Marvin was amazing. To calling us and making sure I filled everything out right. He made everyone laugh and smile, helped with the time management on the wedding day! The lighting made the venue even more beautiful, the photo booth was a huge hit and everyone enjoyed it! He was so easy to talk to and to add in requested songs! He would be highly recommended. He made my wedding extra special.

Wedding ceremony and reception

Excellent service, they handled the music for the ceremony, reception, and ran a photo booth, and great uplighting. Kept everyone moving, having fun. Gave us a heads up when needed, had a great sense of the songs to fill in for us. Would love to have another event with Marvin and his team involved!

Marvin helped make my daughter's wedding an amazing success. He was very professional and accessible, but also genuinely friendly from start to finish. He made sure everything moved along smoothly, which took a lot of the pressure off of me. His podium/set up was very cool and the music sounded great. There was even a moment where a drink had spilled on our table and the next thing I knew, Marvin was there with some paper towels, helping to clean up before the staff had even come over. Marvin and Levi were really great to work with. I spoke with Marvin to arrange everything prior to the wedding and Levi was the actual DJ for the wedding. They were very flexible, accommodating, and got all our special requested songs. They were always professional and helped make our wedding great. Definitely recommend!

Marvin was so awesome!!! We were so fortunate to have him at our wedding. Marvin absolutely went above and beyond and all of our guests are talking about how great he did keeping everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Marvin came through in a big way for my husband and I. We had our wedding band cancel less than a month out and Marvin was our original MC. However, he jumped right in and DJ'd our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. On top of all of this, Marvin also rented out a photo booth to us for a steal. His wife did an amazing job running it and keeping the guests smiling and taking pictures. Both Marvin and his wife provided us with a beautiful photo scrapbook of all of the prints from the booth and killer up-lighting to enhance our dance floor. We would highly recommend Check 1, 2, great investment!

Marvin was an absolute 5 star vendor! Not just a vendor- but a true compassionate, loving and all around amazing person! You can see he truly loves what he does- to bring people together and allow people to always remember one of the best days of their lives! That's what he did for us. He was always available when you contacted him. He met up with my wedding coordinator on numerous occasions- he went above and beyond- and I couldn't tell you how many people came up to me and told me how much they adored my DJ! Let me start out by saying Marvin is a marvelous as advertised. He is a consummate professional and saved the wedding from a total disaster when service went sideways. He kept things going and reworked the timeline so everything we wanted to do got done within the time constraints. The music played was appropriate for the occasion, took requests happily and he was the first one there and the last one to leave. He also did my up lighting and there were plenty of up lights for the room and really added to the ambiance . I would use his services again and if I ever have another occasion where I need a DJ, Marvin is the first guy I'm going to call.

Marvin was thoughtful, professional, and a lot of fun. We quickly ran out of room on the dance floor. He also very helpful with getting everyone where they be and helped everything stay on track. Let me start by saying my wedding was magical because of Marvin. I had everything else go wrong and because of him, my guest didn't know any different. The person that was going to perform the ceremony and guide the night did not show up at my event: We didnt know what we were doing or when to even walk out to the ceremony. Marvin saved the day; he played all the songs that I requested, every anouncement that he made was awesome and made my wedding perfect. He brought enough equipment to set up both at the ceremony and reception. Also decorated the reception with lots of uplights. So many things were wrong and becasue of him, I had fun. He was my DJ/Videographer/Announcer/Wedding Coordinator. You don't need to go anywhere else to find a DJ. He truly cares about what he does and it shows! He was the first one there and the last one to leave...

Marvin was the best DJ we could have ever asked for. He kept our whole night moving right along. Full of energy and positivity. Right up until the day before the wedding my mother was adjusting the song list, which meant Marvin had to unlock the account for us each time she needed to make a change because in a perfect world this would have been completed weeks before the day. Marvin was very understanding and made us feel at ease. Marvin was more than helpful and responsive during our moments of chaos. I would recommend him to anyone for any of their events! We had so much fun with Marvin DJing for us. I know my wedding day wouldn't have been half as good without him.

Check 1 2 did a great job at my wedding. I preselected all of the music for my recpetion and I dropped the ball on calling the DJ back the day before my wedding to hammer out the details so some things were played that weren't on my list, but then again it's my fault because I didn't return their call. They didi a great job pleasing my guests! I would use them again for sure!! No deposit is required so that is a relief when you have 100000 other things to worry about by a certain deadline.

They were recommended by my daughter's work and what can I say but wonderful, Marvin was the DJ for my daughters wedding, he was in constant touch with me from the time of 1st contact until the day of the event. Professional, well dressed, well spoken and served as the MC at the reception, played for the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. This dj was amazing. He knew how to read the crowd and really engage the guests. He made my reception the most fun wedding I've ever been to. I would definitely recommend him to anyone! My guests are still talking about DJ Marvelous even a month after my wedding!

Loved it!!!!!!!!!!! HE played the whole list of music we chose. It doesn't matter if you want 80's, country, merengue, salsa, oldies, etc...he has everything and is willing to please you! He also made an excellent video for us. Everyone danced all night long!!!!!!!!!!!

Marvin was amazing!!!! He went above and beyond what a DJ should do. He kept the party going all night. No one ever wanted to leave the dance floor. He was so organized and his website is awesome. He also provided us with a video service and it was so much fun to look back at everything. He was just amazing- the best DJ we could have hired. I am so happy the Hilltop recommended him to us. Marvin Sullivan is a wonderful DJ, both for the wedding and the reception. He played beautiful music for the ceremony, and had everything running smoothly. For the reception, he obtained good information from the bride and groom about what they wanted and the music was fantastic, right for all ages! He kept the pace of the buffet and the wedding rituals going, so everyone was entertained but not rushed. He produced a wonderful little love story video of the bride and groom that everyone enjoyed. Marvin did everything exactly as we had hoped. He worked along side of our Day-Of Coordinator and they made things happen! Wow! He has a lot to offer any couple getting married. He played our song list with perfect timing. My husband and I couldn't figure out in what order who should go where and how they were going to get there and he made it all happen with the music. We highly recommend him!

Marvin has a smooth and easy voice that is perfect for a DJ! You can't beat his value either. He is great for meeting needs for a variety of guests as well and will custom playlists to any crowd. We had multiple meetings with him to talk about our reception and he spent time getting to know us. He is wonderful and really knows how to keep a flow of a reception going.

I loved my DJ. There was a little oops during the ceremony. I hadn't entered when it happened but I was told later that the music I chose for my bridal party to enter to, didn't play. Marvin was so insistent about righting the wrong that he took money off the bottom line of our contract to make up for it. The reception was PERFECT! He kept the party going with the right songs to keep the guests on their feet. Everyone still talks about the wedding and how much fun they had at the reception. Among my other vendors, Marvin at Check 1, 2 DJ had a huge part to play in the success of our wedding. We definitely recommend him!

Marvin, from Check 12 Dj, was an awesome DJ! He was very professional before, during, and after our wedding. He was willing to meet with us before our wedding to talk about the details to make our day perfect. He arrived early to our ceremony to set up. He played all the songs we asked him to play. For the reception we were a little worried no one would get up and dance. Marvin played songs that even my grandparents got up and danced to. The dance floor was packed for the enitre night. He used special lighting that made for an awesome ambiance. Our friends and family are still telling us what a great time they had! I would recommend Marvin to anyone.

Marvin was very kind and did a great job DJing our wedding. He really got a feel of our guests and played music that everyone could enjoy. Literally everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. He did a great job. The only thing I noticed was that we sent a list of songs we requested to be played and I think only about 2 or 3 of them were played. However, the songs he missed at the wedding, he incorporated into our wedding video, which was nice. Our video was perfect for what we needed. He captured all of the important highlights from the wedding. He did a great job. Thank you Marvin so much for helping make our wedding day perfect.
