Wedding decor package was amazing

thank you for creating a beautiful and elegant reception, that was fit for a queen and who knew that you only had two hours, to create such an amazing memory. You took my dream and turned it into a reality that will last a lifetime. I was definitely overwhelmed, and I couldn't have asked for a better decorator, you were so patient and kind, and just an overall jewel to work with, and I will be using your services again in the future.

Mr & Mrs Events did a phenomenal job, not only with my wedding/reception but also with my bridal shower as well! Janesa also went above and beyond and decorated me and my husbands suite for the night of our wedding! It was beautiful!!

I gave Janessa attend this woman made my wedding amazing I had a caterer not show up I had issues at the church where I help my Sarah Moni and I was so stressed out by the time that I got to my reception that when I walked in the doors and seeing how beautiful she made my reception I it was amazing I can’t wait to use her for more parties and the price was so affordable this crew is amazing hands down

Here recently, Dec 2017, my husband and I booked with Mr. & Mrs. Events for our 1st baby shower of our little miracle baby. When entering the event, Keith and I were truly blown away!! Although we had no theme in mind, just colors of royalty (purple and gold) Janesa and her crew flipped that room into a masterpiece!! It had my family thinking they were entering another wedding lol!!! Mr. & Mrs. Events is a FRIENDLY and FAMILY ORIENTED business whom constantly goes above and beyond for their customers in SPIRIT and BUDGET. I don't know where to start, Mr and Mrs Events made my wedding day! Before the wedding day leading up to, they we're more then just our vendor for decor, they we're genuinely concerned with things that came up and made sure our day was nothing short of amazing! Your budget they knew just what to do to make it a dream come true on what you could afford! They transformed our basic reception hall to an amazing fairytale room and I was so happy and amazed at the decor and transformation that for me and my husbands "big entrance" into to the reception hall, I left him by accident lol!! But they we're amazing, professional and there whenever we needed them. I can't wait to do business with them again in the near future!!!

My wedding was so beautiful it had us all in tears way before the wedding even started. MME made our day special and elegant. I was unsure of how I wanted everything set up, so I informed them that they could just "do them" they did just that!! I had no complaints, they were on time, and quick with setting up. They literally put that extra magic in our wedding with all the sparkle/bling table clothes and the sweet elegant look. Thank you all so much.

They handled my cousins wedding as if it was their own.

Ok,I was booked as a wedding photographer in Louisville . I showed up to the venue and was very impressed with the way it was set up.Colors were popping and very appealing to the eye.This was a very decorative wedding.It made the flow of the wedding feel that much better which enhanced the look of the photos.Would recommend her services to anyone. We used M M Events for our high school's prom this year. M M Events was very responsive and professional. Before the event, we were in regular contact about the room decor and lay out. She sent us many amazing ideas for our event. On the day of the event, they arrived right when they said they would and immediately got to work transforming the room. The results were BEAUTIFUL!!! The theme the kids chose was Arabian Nights. M M Events provided the perfect decor with bold, bright colors and lots of gold! One of the teachers told me it was the most beautiful prom she had seen in the last 7 years. The kids were so excited, they are still talking about the event. I would highly recommend M M Events. They were very easy to work with and they created an amazing atmosphere for our prom that we could not have done by ourselves. Thank you for making the night so magical for our students!!

Janessa was very profesional. I was a little hesitant consider a couple of the reviews from a few years back, but she assured me that new managment was on top of it. She was very responsive to me, she showed up early to our event, she did everything I could dream to ensure I was comfortable and worry free. She met me in advance to set up a sample of what we would actually get. The linens were amazing. We had it in an old bar and the sparkly linen was just amazing. I'll be using her again for any of our event needs. Ive given her number out many times already!! Dont let the old reviews scare you away! They even posted my event on their facebook page!

Mr and Mrs Events was wonderful. They helped me come up with ideas for centerpieces as well along with other favors they provided me with. Even though they didn't use the centerpieces I agreed on she made sure she sent me pics of the ones she thought would look better before she just changed without telling me or asking me 1st, and they were beautiful so I agreed on them . She took time to come meet me at the venue on a Sunday to bring different shades of the colors I requested. They help me stay in contact with my cake lady to make sure I had my wedding cake. Their prices are the best in town! They came back on time to break down the event and they were on time to set up the event. I used them for table cloths chair covers bows centerpieces set up and break down. Everyone loved my wedding set up! The pictures didn't do any justice! They rocked out my event and I will definitely use them again for any occasion! This is my 2nd time using them by the way. 1st was a birthday party that was amazing and 2nd was my beautiful wedding! They will work with any budget and offer so much! Great Job ladies, keep up the good hard work!

These people were not only awesome they were very friendly and took all the stress away!! They made sure everything was just how I wanted it to be and refused to let me freak out =]. Mr. & Mrs. Events were amazing. It was as close to my own wedding planner I could have gotten. Janesa was there for me every step of the way. She answered all of my texts, calls and facebook messages no matter the day or time. She gave me ideas and suggestion to enhance my event and go with my theme. My wedding would not have looked as amazing as it did without the additional thoughts and touches Mr. & Mrs. Events provided, down to the small details I had overlooked which turned out to make the event. These ladies were very professional and welcoming and very helpful. They made it as stress free as possible. I enjoyed how they made me feel I was the only bride to be they were working with, which was not the case at all. They did a great job and were very flexible. It was such a pleasure to work with Mr. and Mrs. Events. From the get go they provided excellent customer service. They answered all of my calls and even met with me after hours. At their office, I got a private consultation and they showed me live examples of their work as well as an excellent portfolio of their past events. Choosing which items to complete my wedding was a breeze!

Of course I have to mention the price. I let them know what my budget was and I was shocked to see what I got for my price. Prepping for the decoration the day before my wedding made me realize just how much of a deal I really got. I was floored to look at my wedding and see that I had quality chair covers, sashes, center pieces, and a candy bar.

This is by far one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. Not only are these ladies professional but very exact and precise when it comes to bringing your vision to life. I loved the convenience of them mailing me the table cloths! It saved me a trip to Louisville and back! I searched high and low for linens I could afford. Upon the last night of searching I was going to just buy the less expensive paper tablecloths. Then I gave it one last shot and I found cheap chair covers Louisville. They are the most affordable linen rental company by far and the quality is outstanding. I am still in disbelief of how great a deal we received. I have already recommended them to a friend after she attended my wedding and she is renting from them for her wedding this month. I will never go with anyone else!

I rented chair covers for just 1.00 and sashes for .50. At the last minute we didnt really have time to set everything up so we decided to go with the professional set up for just 75 more bucks. Boy I tell you the difference chair covers make is amazing. Great service and the cheapest by far in town.

The linens were nicely done, and the prices were super affordable. I found this vendor on Craigslist when they had their 1.00 per chair cover sale going on. I am very pleased with the way things turned out. They set up for only .50 more per chair cover and even sat my centerpieces out for me. Linens were neat and pressed. The ladies met at my event location and tried on a chair cover and brought different colors I was interested in. All I can say is Wow! Linens can transform a space beyond words. We couldn't afford chair covers at first I'm so glad these guys are open.

Great service, great value. It took a while to actually get a hold of someone in the beginning due to the website being down, but I am so glad we took a chance. We saved over $400.00 on linens alone. The owner was so helpful we had to leave right after our reception to board the plane and she ensured everything was in tip top shape with the venue saving us time! The new site is awesome btw!

These girls were great and the prices were unbeatable. They met me outside of their hours to give me samples and a vase to plan arrangements with. They were extremely busy during the time of my wedding but I never worried about that effecting their services. My experience was great , I would advise those trying to save money and still want it to look like you spent thousands use them. Just pay extra for the clean up ,I didn't and my clean up crew left and I ended up cleaning up the decorations and boxing them up and returning them that evening . But they ROCK!!!!

This company provided table lien, sashed for ceremony chairs, columns and color for reception tables. They were wonderful and reasonably priced. I would definatly have them set up the table clothes. We also purchased the flowers from them and well, they came all wilted and brown. The real daisy flowers had fake yellow centers in them. They were not pretty at all. So at the last minute I went to Kroger and got flowers from the managers special section and created our own bouquets. One bride bouquet and 6 bridesmaids and 3 mens flowers for 1/2 what I was charged for the brown/fake yellow centered flowers. Also the 2 ladies were missing for approx 4 hours. When called they claimed they had difficulty getting columns in their vehicle. Not sure what was up with that. Is this the first time they used the collumns? Anyway, Everything was ok with this company other than the flowers and they were gone for about 4 hrs while they were to help us set up. I would reccomend this company for the talbecloths and column decorations.

Experience WAS HORRIBLE! My husband and I had to chase her down for business! We ran into her randomly in the mall! There was an issue with time for setup in which she didn't follow up with us or asked to see the venue. We sent videos and pics. She arrived late and guest were coming. My family had to help fix what she didn't do. Chair covers were wet...no cake table...no food table...no back drop for bridal party. The bridal party table cloths were bunched up. Highly pissed. I asked for a full refund because it was ugly! She said no will give a partial and offer future services free of charge! That would have been great if this day wasn't MY WEDDING DAY!

My husband and I had a terrible experience with this company. The lady who owns it was very unprofessional throughout my entire planning process. Their response time was awful, and I often had to get my husband to call them for me to even get in touch with them. The only thing this company provided for me were the table and chair linens, as well as a few silk flowers for the centerpieces (that my wedding coordinator put together), so I was very confused after the wedding when they had all of my wedding pictures on their Facebook site of things that they absolutely DID NOT provide!!! My mother in law made a lot of decor for my wedding, so MME should not have posted photos of things that they didn't provide. We paid for everything 6 months in advance, and 3 days before my wedding they sent me another invoice for almost $400, because THEY didn't have their ducks in a row. My wedding was in Tennessee, so they decided to (try) to charge me extra for having to travel from KY to TN when they already knew up front where my wedding was located. The day of my wedding, the company showed up about 3 hours late. The owner arrived in what looked like pajamas, along with her mother and 3 kids, who were running around all over my venue. I decided to go take a peek at the linens in my ceremony, and they had the wrong color chair sashes on the chairs. They were purple, and I was supposed to have burgundy. They didn't bring enough burgundy sashes, so they only put sashes on every other aisle chair, which was probably a total of about 12 chairs, when I had 180 chairs total!!! Although we had paid a "break down" fee, they decided that my wedding was too late in the evening for them to stay and take everything down, so they asked us could we ship everything back to them. They didn't leave anything to put the linens in, so I ended up spending an extra $20 on boxes and tape the next day. Although the linens were cheap, it was not worth the trouble.

Mr and Mrs event

Mr and Mrs event is very unprofessional and only cater to friends and family. I contacted mr and Mrs event by email, text and phone and did not get a response back either way. Around three weeks later finally I spoke with someone by text who said they are opening up a new venue in August and I could book on the day that I requested, I was sent a venue of the new venue and was very pleased as I text back asking about the deposit price and there so on, I never ever received a confirmation or text back, I would never recommend this place to anyone. I would look pass the decor and look into professionalism which the mr and Mrs event do not have! It’s hard to support black owned businesses like this one.

Beware!

All items were pre ordered months in advance and paid in full. The wedding was on a Sunday but after all the negative reviews I scheduled a pickup on Thursday. Nobody would answer the phone calls on Tues, Wed or Thursday to confirm pick up, Friday still no answer and finally on Saturday they called and said we could pick up at 400 then 430 then 500 then 530. When we picked up items from somebody's home they were in a tote unfolded, dirty unwashed glasses were in cardboard boxes and lights were in another cardboard box. When the person picking up for me started to count, they were told everything was correct and they didn't have time for that. When the items arrived late we found all the linens were stained, wrong sizes and wrong amount. None of the filthy glassware matched and also wrong amount. The lighting was also less than ordered and paid for and over half did not work. I tried to call from the venue multiple times with no answer. We had to buy extra items that were missing. All overlays had to be febreezed and ironed and all glasses had to be washed. I am not talking spots, I mean they were not washed from the previous use. I was promised a refund but as expected they did not come through with that either. If you are getting married do not put yourselves in a position like ours , pay the extra money and go with a real company.

1 star is being too generous! All decorations was delivered to the staff several days before the wedding. The night before the wedding I along with the bride dropped off the linens and was told everything was set for the next day at 9am. I arrived with the bride at 10:15 to find the decorator had not come but sent family members instead to setup our venue! Family members including children. Not only that but a vast majority of the reception decorations we're damaged and in pieces!!!!!!!! The family member present told us that she was instructed by the staff member to hot glue everything together. The bride and myself then had to fix all decorations!!!!. The staff member eventually called us back and told the bride she didn't have intentions of coming to do the event that her sister was going to handle it. This was never communicated to us prior to. To top things off the staff member even had part of our decorations in her car and never brought them to our venue. In fact she never showed up at all even when we relayed that we had missing and damaged items. All we kept getting told was "she's on her way" The family members she had sent were ill equipped to handle the volume of things that needed to be done with the reception area and ceremony space. The entire bridal party (including the bride), the venue attendents and the parents of the bride all had to help set up!!!!! Unfortunately we also had paid for this company to be our clean up crew!!!! When the family member was asked if she was coming back to breakdown the venue she told us that she wasn't aware that they were supposed to do it. While the family member did return to clean up most the tasks fell to the bridal party and brides family to handle. No bride deserves to walk into the nightmare this company caused. Because of this company our bridal party had to get ready in sections as the rest of the party was setting up. The way this company handled the wedding is unacceptable!

I was very disappointed with this company. First of all we paid this company a premium for set-up on a hoiday weekend. They were over two hours late arriving for set-up when they were told we were paying per the hour at the venue with a two hour limit. We had to pay the venue for extra time. We also had to help them complete the set-up of the linens because of the time factor. After the wedding, they were also late arriving for clean-up, we helped them tear-down and I yet again had to pay the venue for extra time. I was also over-charged for items I did not recieve, I cannot get the owners to return any phone calls, emails or messages. Do yourself a favor and move on because your "cheap chair covers" will not be so cheap in the long run.

I would honestly give this company zero stars if that were an option. We worked with this company (or attempted to) for over 9 months. We ordered our linens in November and were promised the 50% off Black Friday deal. When we asked if there was anything we needed to do to secure this deal other than submit the $100 deposit, we received no response after several phone calls and emails. When we got closer to the big day, we tried again to contact them and they had moved out of their office space and the building owner hadn't even heard from them, also their website has now completely disappeared. They would not answer phone calls or emails, and we had no address at which to pick up our linens. Without responding to us, we received an invoice for over 3 times what was agreed upon with only 1 week before the ceremony. After finally reaching out to us, they agreed to either honor the deal we were given or refund our deposit. I asked for them to honor the deal, and they never responded after that until after the wedding was over. Due to their inability to communicate, we were forced to spend over 4x our original budget to purchase linens and have them delivered on time. I never received a reply email, only a 50% refund of the deposit via Paypal, to the incorrect account. This was after they agreed to refund the deposit entire. I was on my honeymoon at this time and was unable to claim the payment until 2 days after it was sent. By the time I got to that, they had cancelled the payment and I was unable to retrieve it. In summary, they were extremely dishonest and did not communicate with us at all. They stalled until after the wedding date so that they could avoid refunding us our money and even cancelled the payment. This fiasco cost us over an additional $400 that was not accounted for just a few days prior to the wedding. I would never, ever, ever recommend anyone attempt to work with this business in the future. The prices are low, but only because they do not deliver
