  Chaz made our day! He has the most calming, yet fun and witty persona, and made both my husband and I feel at ease throughout the entire process. He even got a kick out of my shouting "I do!" at the moment he started reading me my vows (sorry, I was excited!). We are so grateful and honored to have had the opportunity to be married by him. - Lindsey & Phavixai

  Chaz was, at the same time, the least costly and most meaningful vendor for our wedding. The role he played in planning for our ceremony was absolutely invaluable. From our very first meeting, we couldn’t help but to adore him and respect the passion he has for the service he offers. We were told by our planner that Chaz must “believe” in the couples he marries in order to agree to perform the ceremony. He asked such thoughtful questions during our initial meeting and met with us multiple times to ensure he got to know us well and was able to perform a ceremony which truly reflected the bond we share. I cannot possibly summarize what an incredible ceremony it was. Chaz lightened the mood with his humor, tied in personal aspects from each of our lives and involved our guests in such a beautiful way. I truly feel, not only because it was my own, that it was the most thoughtful ceremony I’ve ever attended. We received so many comments on how great Chaz was throughout the evening following the ceremony. We could not be happier that we were fortunate enough to find Chaz. If you’re considering a JP in the CT area, we cannot recommend Chaz highly enough.

  We were recommended Chaz by a caterer when we mentioned that we would love a JP who wasn't dry and was engaging with a good sense of humor. That is exactly what we got in Chaz Zelzuka. My husband and I met with Chaz and were immediately impressed. He was so warm and friendly and funny! I loved that! He threw in a few zingers during our ceremony to bring some laughs and made it so special. He was so great at personalizing and engaging our friends and family. It really felt like our loved ones were involved. Every one complimented us on choosing Chaz as our JP. He made our ceremony so special and we felt like he was part of the family.

  Wow! Chaz knows what he is doing and he is very good at it. He had our guests in happy tears and laughter throughout our ceremony. His humor and charm made up for the fact that we had to move our ceremony indoors to the rain. We met with Chaz a few times before the ceremony to go over all the details and create a personalized ceremony. We ran through a dress rehearsal the day before and Chaz was great at giving us and the wedding party direction for the big day. We feel extremely fortunate to have been able to have Chaz officiate our big day - we know that it couldn't have gone better and our guests really appreciated the warmth he brought to the ceremony.

  Chaz did an amazing job getting to know us and making our ceremony unique! He worked with us to make our ceremony personal and memorable. It was the perfect length and everything we dreamed it would be. We were able to incorporate some religious undertone while adding in our own personal touches. He did an amazing job and really made our wedding spectacular.

  Chaz is well organized and extremely professional in his services! He has every detail of the ceremony in mind in planning with you, and he carries it out flawlessly. He insists on not giving you a copy of your vows (if you choose to use one of his selections) beforehand, so that you don't end up sounding rehearsed, which in my opinion is a good plan. We had a rather unique "unity ceremony" and Chaz worked with us to come up with a wonderful way to incorporate this into our ceremony and his blurb introducing it was well phrased. His fees are extremely reasonable, as well. He also promptly filed our marriage license/certificate with the Town Clerk (literally the next available business day) so our Marriage Certificate was waiting for us in the mail when we arrived home from the honeymoon so I could begin the name change process. Sometimes a little slow to respond to the e-mail, but not a major deal. Overall, a great guy - couldn't ask for a better JP!
