Bespoke Destination Elopement
Hiring Sarah and Tyler and choosing their bespoke elopement package was easily the best decision we could have made for our wedding, and not just because they take excellent photos. Their passion, dedication, and enthusiasm throughout the entire process made wedding planning something we never thought it could be - FUN! From messaging back and forth about outfits and flowers, to providing much-needed wedding and travel advice, to even building a full itinerary for our 12 day trip, Sarah and Tyler truly went above and beyond to make sure the entire experience was everything we dreamed it would be. When the day finally arrived, they were the most incredible support system and did everything in their power to make it the perfect day for us. They let me use their hotel room to finish getting dressed to not ruin the first look moment, they handled making (more complicated than they should have been) dinner reservations, Sarah crafted a gorgeous bouquet despite the flower shop she was originally planning on going to being closed when she arrived, Tyler wrote a thoughtful, beautifully moving handfasting ceremony and poem, and I'm convinced there's no better high than hearing their shouts of excitement from behind the camera about how magical the pictures are looking.
We are so, so, so grateful for Sarah and Tyler - our dream Ireland elopement would have never happened without them. And we are equally as grateful for the friendship we now have with two wonderful humans. Do not hesitate to put your wedding day in Sarah and Tyler's hands, we guarantee you will be blown away by what they can create - and you'll come home with the most stunning photos to prove it! -

Words cannot express how grateful we are to Chasers of Light (Tyler and Sarah). When we got engaged, my big dream request was that we hire them for photography. I’ve followed them for years (followed Tyler’s poetry even longer), and I knew it would be amazing to work with them. Tyler and Sarah made the photography experience absolutely lovely!
Quinn and I are not used to being photographed so we were a little nervous, but Tyler and Sarah made this entire process a dream. We had a couple calls before the wedding to talk about the process, and they answered any questions I had over email quickly. They made the giant family photos process not painful (haha), and when we took photos of just us after the wedding… it was just a dream. We loved how much they loved playing with the lighting and landscape to capture some phenomenal photos. Everything was relaxed and exactly what we needed after the chaos of the ceremony. They even captured some great photos amongst the chaos we created on the dance floor at the reception (with glow sticks and disco ball lighting). They were able to capture some truly special moments from start to finish, and we are just so very grateful for their amazing work! -

AMAZING photographs!
Years ago, before I’d ever even met my now-husband, there were certain things that I knew I needed to have as part of my wedding – a beautiful outdoor location (preferably a castle), sunflowers in my hair, bridesmaids dressed in black, & Tyler Knott Gregson photographing my wedding. I’ve been a fan of Tyler’s poetry since the Tumblr days, and when he started his photography business with Sarah, I immediately knew I needed them to photograph my wedding one day. Fast forward more than a decade, and the very first people I contacted after getting engaged, before I’d even finalized my venue & exact wedding date, were Chasers of the Light. When I was hesitant to commit to my dream venue (Eilean Donan Castle) due to the challenge of getting everyone to a remote destination, they’re the ones who encouraged me to just go for it, and I’m so glad I did. The entire day was an absolute fairytale, and I am obsessed with the GORGEOUS photos that Tyler & Sarah created. Sarah was a godsend leading up to the wedding, reaching out to local contacts & helping me brainstorm reception ideas & suggesting local restaurants & must-see spots on the Isle of Skye. They both immediately felt like friends & I felt completely at ease with them all day long. Tyler is the absolute best hype-man you could ever ask for, and his excitement and absolute joy were contagious. I had such a blast running around the castle (literally), climbing onto rocks, and ascending secret staircases to get the best shots. I could not have possibly asked for better photos taken by better people. Having Tyler write us a custom poem on our wedding day made our amazingly memorable day that much more perfect. I could not possibly recommend Chasers of the Light more. To me, the photos were the most important part of the entire day, because they are what we’ll have to look back on to remember our amazing wedding day. They were 100% worth the investment & my husband & I will absolutely treasure these photos for the rest of our lives. Thank you, Tyler & Sarah!! -

Professional, responsive, and fun
Tyler and Sarah had the most wonderful personalities, keeping us natural and at ease while they worked. We chatted constantly while walking the gorgeous property and they caught the sweetest moments the entire time we had them with us! They kept us relaxed when we realized our DJ hadn't shown up, taking the delay in stride, snapping some extra photos while we tried to figure it out. We ran through the woods, we got our feet wet and muddy. They captured it all beautifully. They were able to walk the property and know exactly where we should go and at what times in order to get the optimal photo. Their prices are incredible, for two photographers, and their unspeakably beautiful work. We got back all our photos INCREDIBLY quickly- about 10 days after the wedding! We cannot express how wonderful it was to be able to hire these two for the most important day of our lives, especially when I had been dreaming of them photographing my wedding since I first saw their work while I was in high school (almost 10 years prior to this)! I am so grateful there was a serendipitous last minute cancellation that allowed them to come work our wedding, as they were nothing short of the best photographers, professionals, and general people you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. -

Tyler & Sarah created the most warm, supportive and encouraging space to be our authentic selves on our wedding day! They captured the day beautifully, from the BIG feels to the sweet and meaningful little details. The photos turned out beyond amazing...sweet moments during the ceremony and stunning golden hour shots. They tell the story of such a special day and we will have them to remember it forever. We have followed Chasers of the Light for a long time, and it was a dream come true to have them document our day! -

Couldn’t have asked for more
One of our top priorities for our wedding was to have amazing photos we could look back on for forever. We couldn’t have asked for better photographers than Tyler and Sarah. Their work is stunningly beautiful and real and was so much more than we could have ever hoped for. What’s more, they are quite literally the most genuine, loving, and down to earth humans we have ever met. They instantly made us feel comfortable and relaxed in a way that resulted in photos that purely captured all of the joy we felt on our wedding day. They even adventured with us through trails and over rocks in Glacier National Park to capture the most incredible moments. They go above and beyond in every way, and to know them is to love them. -

A Dream Come True
Besides providing pictures that still take my breath away, Tyler and Sarah were an absolute delight to work with. They are some of the most loving people who have an unparalleled talent for capturing beautiful moments. They have the gift to direct you without feeling like you are being directed. They capture you being you. They understood what we wanted and went above and beyond to take some of the most amazing pictures. Their specialty is candid shots, but they know how to do the traditional portraits. They just do it all. After spending our wedding with them, they truly feel like family. I cannot recommend them enough. They are THE best photographers and absolutely stellar humans. -

Best Photographers Ever
Look no further, they are EXACTLY who you need in order to take your day from amazing to otherworldly. They are worth every penny. They take the time to know exactly what you want and then they go even above and beyond that. Two of the most beautiful souls I've ever met. Beyond grateful for every moment we got to spend with them. I can't put into words just how unbelievable they are. -

Obsessed is an understatement
Booking Tyler and Sarah was my ONE request for my wedding. My wife’s was having shrimp. So obviously we have similar priorities.
They are both kind and thoughtful and helpful and so sweet and wonderful and the final product? Even better than I could have ever imagined. They entertained our nine year old, made my wife and I feel so comfortable, got our pictures back to us so incredibly quick, and just having them there was truly the highlight of our day! (Minus the actually getting married part, I guess?)
I have zero regrets about hiring them and if I could, I would hire them for everything forever. -

Like having your best friends photograph your wedding
Sarah and Tyler were essential parts of our wedding day. They were simultaneously everywhere and also invisible. We were able to maximize time together and with our guests while also enjoying time with our photographers when we did dash off for a golden hour shoot. I value their non-traditional approach to weddings, in that each gig of theirs is personalized to the couple. We have a mix of candids, detail shots, gorgeous artistic shots, and the key group photos we needed to capture our day. I can't recommend them highly enough. -

Two beautiful souls that capture timeless moments!
Choosing Sarah & Tyler from Chasers of the Light to capture our wedding was by far the best decision we made. Out of all the elements involved in a wedding, we knew that the photos were the most important to us. The flowers will wilt, the taste of the food will fade, the dress will be stored, but the photos...the photos of one of the most important day of your life...those will live on forever. That is why it was a no brainer for us to fly Chasers from Montana to Texas. From our first email correspondence to our skype meeting to the day of our wedding, it immediately felt like they understood our vision. And oh boy did they capture all the details of our wedding day. The essence is apparent in each photo. They did it so effortlessly and felt like family! I would hire them over and over again (and probably will when we renew our vows)! I HIGHLY recommend them! -

As their name depicts, they capture light-filled photos that are breathtaking. Their exquisite attention to detail and the way they frame their photography is unique and showcases the beauty of your day. They effortlessly capture moments that are so meaningful, raw, and encompass who you are as a couple. Their instinct behind the camera is what makes their final products unparalleled.
Additionally, they’re warm and kind people who have the best energy to be around on your wedding day. They’re funny and quirky and make you feel relaxed (even if you’re sweating in a late summer afternoon in Mexico!). The entire process is enjoyable and they make you feel important from the first correspondence to receiving your photography.
I’m still in love with our wedding photography today; I never spend a minute wishing something was slightly different with a photo because I know it was captured as each moment unfolded into place. I would choose to work with them again at any opportunity with full confidence. -

I cannot say enough about how incredible they are. They are talented, creative, professional, hard working and they were a blast too! It truly felt like having family shooting our wedding. They made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. The photos came out absolutely stunning. Tyler & Sarah captured the day perfectly. If you ever have the chance to work with them, take it! We loved working with Treehouse Photography & would do it again in a heartbeat!
