Chase is absolutely fantastic. I could not recommend more. He photographed both my elopement (covid) and then the big reception we had at a later date. The photos from both the events are beautiful and really show his incredible range: from a small 5 person backyard wedding in springtime to a 130+ person wedding with a big bridal party, ceremony, dinner, and dancing in autumn.
And also, my husband and I are very awkward in front of cameras and you truly cannot tell at all. It is going to be borderline impossible to choose which photos to put in our wedding album (a great problem to have), not only from our couple and bridal party photos, but from the reception dancing!! The amount of incredible candids he got is truly astounding. I sent a cute candid he got of two of our friends dancing together and she said it is the best photo she has of the two of them (and they have been together three years).
And then to top it all off- Chase is just a great person to be around. He is so friendly, engaging, and has a very calming presence which is so helpful on such a high-anxiety day. Do yourself a favor and lock this guy down for any photos you need!

We chose Chase as our wedding photographer, and I really cannot recommend him enough! Even in the initial conversations via email and phone leading up to the wedding, he was incredibly easy and professional to work with and took note of the general vibe of what we wanted, along with any specific shots.
We opted for ‘unlimited’ coverage on the wedding day, and from the moment he arrived, he really helped us to capture everything. Our wedding took place in the state botanical gardens and he even sweated outside in the Georgia heat with us to make sure we could capture beautiful shots all around the garden! He had amazing suggestions for different shots that I never would have thought of, and he made us feel comfortable in front of the camera so that we looked natural in all of these.
After the wedding, he was so quick to turn around our ‘sneak peek’ album of pictures that we literally got this one day after the wedding. He was then so fast to deliver the final albums with all of our photos that we were still on our honeymoon when we received them! The quality and quantity of pictures that we received from him too was truly amazing. I feel like pictures are so important to remember everything from the day, and we will cherish all of ours.
Like I said above, I would absolutely recommend Chase to anyone looking for an amazing wedding photographer.

Gorgeous Memories - Laughs thrown in for free!
My husband and I could not be happier with our photos from our wedding day. We planned our wedding in three months, which came with a certain level of stress. One thing that I didn't have to think about twice was our photographer. Chase was a dream to work with from our initial consultation, check-ins about logistics, to cracking jokes and making me laugh before the ceremony. Chase was thoughtful about our unusual family picture configurations and was game to take pictures in the park in the rain after the reception.
My husband and I now have beautiful photos to remember all the parts of the day. I love going through our photos and already have Chase on call for newborn pictures in the fall!
Thank you, Chase, for everything! What an amazing eye and talent for editing you have. I am beyond thankful that you shot our wedding!

We cannot say enough good things about Chase Lanier Photography. From the first time we talked to Chase there was no question who we wanted to photograph our wedding. We did an engagement session, wedding and cinematography with CLP and can honestly say we got every shot and moment captured we could’ve asked for.
Not only were the photographs and video all that we hoped for, but Chase is one of those people that you talk to for five minutes and feel like you’ve known him forever. The whole experience was enjoyable. Shout out to Rachel who helped him capture our day and Will, who knocked it out of the park with our video.
I can’t help but recommend CLP to anyone who mentions the word “wedding” and we’d use him again in a heartbeat for a family event. Thank you Chase!

When I began searching for our photographer, Chase was already booked in 2020 but we had to reschedule/postpone due to Covid. We were able to book Chase for our wedding and we couldn’t be happier. Chase is laid back and easy to work with while having a keen eye for details for breathtaking photos. During our engagement session, Chase created a relaxing experience using our desired style and directing us towards ideal locations for optimal photos. Our wedding day was just as easy. Chase worked well with our other vendors to capture moments and must-haves. The turn around time was quick for the sneak peek and full photos. Perfect Photos and Amazing Experience with Chase!
As a couple who are not picture people, working with Chase and having him as our photographer was the highlight of our wedding! Chase was kind, caring, and attentive, and he made us feel so comfortable. Talented, friendly, accomodating photographer
Chase was so wonderful! We did an engagement session and our wedding photos (+ second shooter) with Chase, and we were blown away. He got sneak peaks for our wedding back in less than 24 hours, and all of our engagement photos back in less than 2 weeks. He was so kind, responsive, and easy to work with, like our photos were being taken by a close friend. The photos have been incredible and at such an affordable price. Thank you so much Chase, for helping us create beautifully lasting memories at our wedding!

A Photographer Who Captures the Experience
From our first conversation, I was confident that Chase was the best photographer to hire for our wedding. We spoke for over an hour about his photography style and why he got interested in photography, particularly photographing weddings. I recall him sharing that as a teenager he had really wanted to be a photographer for National Geographic because he wanted to explore other cultures and the human experience in other parts of the world. As he completed his training, he became similarly inspired by wedding photography, finding that he found great joy capturing the beautiful and unique cultural elements that families share with one another in wedding ceremonies. I was very impressed by the way he seemed to capture the best candid moments from each wedding event, like the look of the groom when the bride entered the room, the flower girl dancing with her grandpa, the smile on the bride as she shares her first dance with her new spouse. Chase did not disappoint. Even when we had to change plans because of COVID, he was so flexible and worked with us to make our day memorable; he even stayed an hour later than planned when things did not go according to schedule. We have hundreds of beautiful photos from our special day and have chosen to go with Chase again for our larger wedding reception next year!

My wife and I enjoyed working with Chase. He was prompt and had great vision for our photos. I am usually a very awkward when taking pictures, but Chase made us both feel at ease. We got our photos back in great time and just enjoyed his overall personality. We are thankful we chose him. We would work with him again for family photos.

Amazing photographer and person!
We had a fantastic experience with Chase from the first phone call, through the engagement session and the wedding day. He was extremely responsive to all communication, and unbelievably timely in delivering anything requesting - including photo previews and final edits of photos! All my friends made comments about how long they had to wait for their photos after the wedding and we got ours right away! My husband and I are not photogenic or comfortable in front of the camera and Chase worked well with us and made us feel at ease. Chase is a truly skilled photographer and we absolutely loved all of our photos. Add to all of that his very reasonable pricing structure. We couldn't recommend Chase highly enough! You won't regret choosing him to handle this huge part of your big day.

Chase Lanier is not only an incredible photographer and artist, but such an amazing human being!
Your wedding day is so special, so to share the most intimate moments with a stranger was something I was really worried about. We found Chase's profile on the Knot, loved his portfolio, and decided to reach out. I was nervous, but hopeful.
We met Chase for coffee and was immediately put at ease by his calm and kind demeanor - I knew he was our guy! He was so thorough in his explanation of the process and made us feel comfortable. He followed up throughout the planning process and helped us create a plan for our wedding day. He worked with my coordinator's timeline and was very professional in all aspects.
The big day arrived and Chase made me feel so comfortable. I'm pretty self conscious and not a big fan of having my photo taken, but Chase gave great instructions and suggestions.
We received our Sneak Peak photos the following day, which was amazing! It was so fun to look back and share the moments with everyone.
Chase had all of our wedding photos to us less than two weeks later, and then mailed us a USB with all of our photos just a few days later.
We truly enjoyed working with Chase and absolutely love our photos. We hope to be repeat customers for family photos in the future :)
I would highly recommend Chase Lanier Photography for any wedding or event!

Lightyears beyond expectations.
I’ll say it now, and I’ll say it a million times more... Chase Lanier is the best photographer that ever was and ever will be. I fell in love all over again and after a crazy, hard and emotional couple of months, it was the best therapy I could imagine. I forgot about having “wedding arms,” I was rushed and didn’t give any mind to what I wore, that we forgot the jacket I was going to wear in the car at home... We smiled at each other the whole time knowing that God has put us together in the most epic of ways. I lose sight of how lucky I am because it absolutely doesn’t make sense to me how God can be so good... how I deserve just the most magnanimous love. I am so happy/excited/proud to marry the man of my dreams and I just want to explode with gratitude that someone was able to deal with my giggles and capture what I believe to be the truest of love that ever could be. I could throw up rainbows right now and I haven’t even seen a single picture yet (it's been 26 hours, so no fault of Chase)! Thank you Chase, from the bottom of my heart. Amazing photographer
My and my husband are from east Africa. We had a traditional wedding on Saturday, and a cultural Eritrean wedding on the Sunday that followed. Chase was excited to learn about our culture. He takes the time to understand what you are looking for and how to create shots that are authentically you. Chase exceeded our expectations in every way. He is an incredible photographer and everything about the process was fantastic. From scheduling meetings to the last minute pictures we wanted the day of the wedding, he was incredibly flexible and easy going. We are so happy we chose chase to capture a special event for us, and wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

Amazing in Every Detail
A photographer for a wedding is certainly one of the most important choice a couple will make because he is the biggest responsible for registering those moments outside our brains. And Chase was amazing. Awesome. Incredible. We have not enough words to describe his professionalism and the quality of his work. He registered each and every moment perfectly, in the most invisible way. He addressed eventual odd situations, that you always have in big events such as a wedding, gracefully and promptly. Our pictures came out quickly for everyone to see and we just can’t get enough of them! The price was fair and we totally recommend him!

Simply phenomenal!
Hiring Chase to be our photographer was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. He's professional, yet fun to work with and quick to snap photos of treasured moments throughout the day. From the initial call to him delivering the wedding photos, every interaction was caring and positive. Several times throughout the day he suggested wonderful ideas to make sure our pictures were perfection. Without being in the way or bossy, he's able to provide pictures that capture the day, people, and setting superbly. Our pictures are gorgeous, fun, and show how much of a fairytale day we had, but they're also real. He captures genuine emotions and interactions that are simply priceless! Wonderful Experience with a True Proffessional!
Chase did much more than we expected...was there early for rehearsal and wedding, captured every aspect of the wedding (esp. things we had no idea he was getting)...just a great professional. He obviously has great command of his art, as a UGA graduate with a degree in Art/Photography. That is what sold me-ther are a lot of photographers out there, but Chase is not only great (look at his photos), but he is better educated in the medium than anyone else we considered!

Chase was able to photograph our proposal, engagement and wedding and he did a wonderful job on all events. The photos are all very beautiful! When you work with Chase you can tell that he has a lot of wedding experience, he knows exactly how to make a shot work no matter the circumstance. He is very professional, fun, and easy going. He is also very quick with photo turn around! Many photographers take months to deliver photos, Chase did our photos in one week! We can't say this enough--Chase did an outstanding job. He has a very professional and calming demeanor, which is totally appreciated when you're stressed about 10,000 other things on your wedding day. His photo quality and attention to detail is amazing. It was impressive how he was able to capture the emotions of the day from multiple angles. The photos before and of the ceremony very much told a story; it takes a true artist to capture the emotions of everyone in a scene. He also did a great job with various lighting -- indoor, outdoor with high and low sun, and some really cool night shots of our venue and cake cutting. We also received our sneak peak and full photos way faster than anyone else I know. We wouldn't have picked anyone else to capture our special day. *Bonus, we got tons of compliments from our families on picking a great photographer before even getting the photos back! Chase not only photographed our wedding but also did our engagement photos. After our engagement session there was simply no doubt that we had to have Chase photograph our wedding! Chase made both my husband & myself feel so comfortable in front of his camera & we feel that he truly captured the essence of US in every image he shot! His professionalism was not only noticed by my husband & I but was recognized by our entire "staff" that day from the coordinator to the caterer. It rained on our wedding day & everything was outside however, that didn't stop Chase from capturing some of the most magical memories! Our day felt like it was over in the blink of an eye but thanks to Chase we were able to revisit our memories thru our photos in his online gallery just 10 day later! We would fully recommend using Chase for your photography. He's was the perfect guy for our wedding. He had a way of being professional (and taking excellent pictures) while integrating himself with the wedding and the ambiance of it. His photos seem to accurately portray our special day for us and we're thankful for that. As far as his ability to be flexible, he excelled in working with constant moving pieces (huge families) while also making the most of the rain. He also was able to provide us all our photos very soon after the wedding. The value that he added to our wedding, was great. He was a great person and an even better photographer. I am honored to have worked with Chase in my recent November wedding. I still brag about how he was an awesome communicator and accommodated my husband and I on several occasions, when we met on a few occasions, it was like talking to an old friend! He listened to our visions and even contacted local places we were interested in having our engagement photos to inquire about the pricing/if they allowed photography at all! I can honestly say he goes above and beyond, and we barely had to wait to see our final photographs! He worked so well with our wedding day schedule, and even planned with us so we were able to get the most use of his time! We met a few weeks in advance and planned a minute-by-minute list of when/who will be photographed. Many at our wedding said that he went unnoticed, and was very friendly. He was patient, and waited for other people to take photos and then would snap his. He took every picture that my parents requested and every picture "on the spot" that night. I have recommended Chase to my friends and family and will continue to do so. We loved working with him!!

My husband contacted Chase early in 2016 after we got engaged. We knew that we wanted to have the same photographer do both our engagement and our wedding photos. We couldn't be happier with Chase's creativity, professionalism, and willingness to work within our budget. Chase was amazing. I planned my wedding entirely through email and phone calls, as it was in Georgia and I'm in DC! He was very responsive and helped walk me through every step. I was grateful that he provided information as I really had no idea how to schedule a photographer into the wedding timeline. At the actual wedding, he was SO incredibly on point and amazing with the children during family pictures. My ring bearer was fussy and he made him smile & laugh and got some great shots with the groom. We had a very tight window (4 hours) but we managed to get couples portraits, bridal party portraits, and family shots! It was awesome. Chase was great. We were on a time limit when we booked him, and he worked with us over email and Facebook due to being a distance away. He kept us close to being on time throughout the night, making sure we got the photos we really wanted. He worked great with the kids, connecting with them via stories about his own child, which made them relax and work with us in pictures. He captured a moment for us at the end that truly made our rainy wedding day, and the resulting picture was amazing. He did a fantastic job, and we highly recommend him. Thanks so much Chase!

Chase was extremely flexible and very easy to work with. He went above and beyond our expectations and worked with both my husband and I to capture specific shots we had requested. We were both very pleased with his quality work and his abilities. I would highly recommend Chase if you're in need of photos for any upcoming event. Chase took my engagement photos and my wedding photos, and he was such a pleasure to work with during both events. He was extremely professional, he was patient with everyone, and made everyone laugh/smile for the pictures. He can make anyone comfortable even in the most tense situations, and was able to catch those special moments that I (as the bride) had missed. He had my pictures back to me in a very short about amount of time, which was great. I would highly recommend Chase to anyone.

Chase did an awesome job capturing our special day!He made me feel super comfortable.We are very proud of our wedding photos.He also did a tremendous job of directing me how to stand in order for my body to be photographed without having that double chin or fat arm look.Chase was super sweet!

We were extremely pleased we hired Chase as our wedding photographer. He answered emails promptly and was very professional. He did my bridal portraits as well as our wedding day and rehearsal dinner. He was a lot of fun to work with and got several of my favorite moments from the day captured on film. He was there the entire time of the rehearsal and again on the wedding day taking photos of every little detail. He is a great guy and very easy to get along with. I would definitely recommend hiring Chase for your wedding too!

Chase did an amazing job capturing our special moments during our wedding & reception! He was very patient and worked well with our wedding party of 11 bridesmaids, 11 groomsmen, 5 honorary bridesmaids, flower girl, and ring bearer. He also did a fantastic job on our engagement pictures and captured awesome scenes of my hometown of Madison in the background of our pictures. He has incredible talent with capturing priceless shots! You won't be disappointed with Chase Lanier Photography!

The pictures from our wedding and reception are absolutely perfect!! Chase did a fantastic job at embracing the essence of who we are and capturing that in our pictures! He was extremely professional and had our proofs to us before we even arrivrd home from our honeymoon! Even after 7 years, I still find myself staring at the photographs and going back in time to relive the best day of my life. I am so thankful to have such beautiful reminders of such a special day! I was so pleased with Chase Lanier Photography and I can not say enough good things about him. He was so thoughtful and took the extra time to speak to myself and husband to make certain he knew what pictures were important to us. My pictures are amazing and I am often asked whom did them for our wedding. I like most brides on their wedding day had to attend to a hundred and one things that day, but not my wedding photos, Chase took care of all the shots and my wedding memories are all in my photos. He is a great guy and very talented behind his camera.

I could not be more pleased with our decision to hire Chase Lanier as the photographer for our wedding in Austin, Texas. Chase is wonderfully talented. He—without question—captured the moments and memories that were so important to me and my husband on our wedding day. His skill behind the camera, his professionalism, his communication, his organization, and his friendliness made him the best choice of photographer for us.
Chase made it a point to talk to both me and my husband about our vision for our wedding photos, and worked hard to make sure that he photographed what we wanted. And let me tell you, the photos turned out beautiful. We were beyond thrilled! I have countless photos from our wedding framed around our house, and I'm always getting comments on how gorgeous they are! Chase was able to capture memories of our wedding day that my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime.

There is no question in our minds that Chase was the best photographer for us for our wedding! We read lots of reviews before selecting Chase and none of the reviews lied about how amazing he is.
Chase was punctual and great to work with – many of our family and friends commented to us on how friendly and easy he was to work with. He was always quick to respond during the wedding planning and all the prep work we did together really showed in the final photographs. We were also very happy with his clear pricing and good value.
One of the biggest complaints we heard about other wedding photographers is how long it takes to get photos back and we had ours back with lightning speed. Our families were shocked at house fast we got them back - Chase was able to get a small selection of pictures back before some family members left town. When we got our full set of pictures back, we were astonished that he was able to be in so many places and capture so many moments that we weren’t aware of. He has a special ninja talent to be in the right place to get the best photo, but you never see him. Our families were amazed at the number and quality of the photos and how he was able capture every moment – some that they didn’t even remember happening.
We would highly recommend Chase to anyone because he is not only a skilled photographer, but takes the time to understand what you want your wedding photographs to look like and then delivers 10 times over.

Chase is amazing!
Chase is a fantastic photographer! He shot my sister's wedding in 2022 and I was lucky that he was willing to fly down to South Florida to shoot our wedding. His prices are great, he is communicative, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Chase to anybody!

Wedding Photography at its finest!
After our original wedding date in 2020 was postponed due to covid, we were able to book Chase to capture our April 2021 wedding and we are thankful that we did! Chase was thorough, professional, and one of the nicest/flexible vendors to ever work with. He not only stayed late to take some awesome night shots on the golf course but was also patient with all of my backup rain day plans and gracious with us making final edits. You could tell he really wanted us to be delighted with our wedding day photos. If you want worry-free photography and proven experience, Chase is your guy!
