Skyline Ballroom

I had my wedding reception with a 5 course meal for my guests full open bar and the most amazing view of the city. The team was amazing and my wedding reception was phenomenal. Highly recommend.

Amazing Wedding Reception at the Chart House Weehawken

The Chart House Weehawken is a hidden gem for couples wanting a NYC wedding experience. The banquet room upstairs was the perfect size for our mid size 140 person wedding in May of 2022. Christine, the venue manager was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. The staff on the day of the event were superb. The food was amazing and the views of Manhattan were of course priceless. Our biggest issue was getting guests to come back indoors to dance from the outside terrace because it was such a beautiful night :)

Stunning view & perfect day!

We worked with Carmeli and Christine for all of the planning - they made sure to answer all of our questions and made us feel confident that we were in good hands. The food tasting appointment was a big plus and they helped us get reservations when we had family in town so they could see the venue. Our big day was truly amazing! We held our ceremony outside on the deck, with the unobstructed Manhattan skyline as the backdrop - the weather was amazing and the view was stunning and our guests loved taking pictures. Our cocktail hour was upstairs in the smaller room and our reception was in the main ballroom. The venue was set up beautifully with the decor etc that we dropped off. The food was delicious and several people said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. The drinks, including our signature cocktails were also on point - although we shared a recipe I think they made it even better! The maitre d's/staff (Carmeli, Jessica, Joser (?)) were awesome - they made sure we had any food and drinks we needed all night. Special shoutout to Jessica who even helped bustle my dress! We could not have been happier with the venue and would definitely recommend it.

So happy that we had our wedding reception here! We first toured the venue with Milla and worked with her during the months of planning and up until the day of. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and beyond helpful. Everything went exactly according to plan. The 2 maitre d’s and the night’s event staff were extremely attentive to us and our guests and they all worked together to make sure our wedding was flawless. Lastly, the food throughout the entire night was delicious! We could not have asked for a better venue!

There are not enough great things to say about the Chart House. This was actually the only venue we visited and we knew as soon as we saw it, it was what we wanted. We'd eaten there a number of times and knew the food was quality but the rooms upstairs are just so breathtaking(amazing views). The staff was very professional and helped us every step of the way - very responsive with my endless questions. Plenty of food options to tailor it to what you want. We really didn't have to worry about anything the day of - we dropped everything off a few days before and everything was set up beautifully (and moved from room to room as the night went on). We had two people just assigned to us to ensure we were taken care of all night! Our ceremony and reception was there and all of our guests gushed about the food, service and of course, the view. We had the entire top floor to ourselves so people mingled from the cocktail room to the reception and then plenty of time outside on the outside balcony. We'd like to go back and be guests at our own wedding! thank you thank you!

Even though this is a bit late, in May 13 of this year my wedding took place here. The service was amazing!!!!! The staff and the sales department were very patient and accommodating to us and our guest. Any questions I always had I would email them everyday with my concerns and they always reached back to me with hours with an answer. I would always recommend this place. In addition, two years before the wedding took place, my husband proposed to me here and they did also an exceptional service for him event to occur.

We just had our wedding last week and I have to say the venue bent over backwards for us in all the last minute changes we had to do.

Christine was very responsive to all our emails/phone calls. The maitre d's were so accommodating, they were there whenever we needed them. They even remembered us a few days after the big day when we needed to pick up our items and helped us loading our car.

The food (especially the cocktail hour -- I was told was amazing, even though I didn't get a chance to eat the sushi and dumplings :( ). All the entrees were generously sized and our guests told us it filled their bellies, even though they were already full, but had to eat more because it was so good, especially the steak! The service, and the gorgeous New York City skyline, it was probably the best decision we ever made during our venue search. Reasonably priced, very accommodating, good food, great drinks, spacious, and clean. If you're looking for all the city glam but don't want to break your bank, I would say this is the best place to choose as your venue.

Before we even signed on as our choice ceremony and reception, we had their Sunday Brunch and it was amazing as well too!

All the guests said to us it was the best wedding they ever attended and we can never thank the Chart House enough for being so amazing.

We were looking for a reception venue on the water, and were getting discouraged. From insanely high prices, to unresponsive sale coordinators, we were not having great luck with our search, until we contacted the Chart House. From the moment we sat down with our (soon to be) coordinator, Milla, we knew the Chart House was the place for us. Milla went over every different option within their many packages, and calculated what our cost would be, down to the penny. With so many options, you can easily find a package that works for any budget. From start to finish, Milla was helpful and responsive, and every part of the planning process was seamless. We wanted more of a cocktail party vibe than a traditional wedding reception, and were able to accomplish this by choosing four themed dinner stations, along with a variety of passed appetizers. We got lucky on the day of, and had a perfectly clear night with the amazing skyline views shining down on our reception. Our guests raved about the variety and quality of the food, and had a blast hanging out on the balcony enjoying the view. The Chart House staff were true professionals, and our maitre d' Jessica made sure everything moved along smoothly, from setting-up the room to making sure we ate. We are so happy we went with the Chart House on our big day and cannot recommend it enough!

My husband and I worked with Milla to plan our wedding a few weeks ago. We wanted to be super close to the city but not actually be there and those Chart House views do not disappoint! We knew we found our venue from the first meeting and actually had the entire upstairs. Milla arranged a tasting for us and we went over every single detail from timeline to linens to room layout to cocktails. Everything on the actual day was exactly as discussed (this doesn't always happen). We had no surprises. The food was incredible- we had 4 stations and 8 passed around items. Everyone raved about the food (the dinner options were cooked perfectly) and the service was impeccable! My biggest fear was people leaving hungry and if anything we had too much food which I was perfectly fine with. I had two women who stayed by my side the entire evening and they were incredibly accommodating and sweet. They helped ease my nerves and were a breath of fresh air on such a chaotic day. The city views in all our pictures resemble a post card. Yes this place is pricey and yes it is annoying that you have to pay for each food item per piece however it is 10000000% worth it because the quality was superb. Our wedding day was really perfect and Chart House played a massive role!!!

PS: It's all very easy to have your guests stay at the Sheraton which is about a 2 minute drive. The entire bridal party got ready there and it was perfection. Also easy to do rehearsal dinner or brunches or any of that right there.

We loved having our wedding at the chart house! It is absolutely beautiful with NYC in the back round. All our guests enjoyed taking pictures outside. All the servers did an awesome job. I could not of asked for a better venue!

We had our wedding at the Chart House this past weekend. Everything was perfect, the staff is wonderful, friendly, professional, accomodating. It is a beautiful venue and taking into account the views and quality of food I find them to be extremely affordable. Highly recommended! They more than exceeded our expectations.

Had my wedding there on 10/15/2016 and was very happy with the outcome. Amazing food, service and the view is breathtaking. Friendly staff and Mike Cetin, the catering manager was easy to work with. Compared to other venues overlooking Manhattan, this place is reasonably priced. Definitely recommend Chart House, Weehawken for a wedding. Nothing negative to say.

My husband and I are from NYC and had originally hoped to have our wedding in the city, but after seeing the ridiculous price tag that came along with that privilege, we ran straight for the hills of NJ. After visiting a few “typical” NJ wedding “factories,” we immediately knew upon walking into the Chart House that this was the venue for us. It had a trendy, modern steakhouse feel (way better than the nautical look that old pictures of the space show) and oozed NYC vibes—no better view of the city to be found IN the city, that’s for sure!

We worked with Mike to set up the details for our 5/21/16 wedding. You can really get into this space at any price point—packages started at like $40 per person (say what?!), but obviously go up from there in accordance with just how extravagant you want to get. We held our ceremony on the back deck, where our 200 guests were greeted with champagne. Mike was super accommodating to our requests (signature cocktail recipes, minute by minute timelines, tons of DIY décor setup, etc.). Our guests were shocked by the (large) size of the steaks served at the reception, and the service was excellent. If you’re looking for a place that is modern, somewhere in between traditional and not, with a beautiful view, on the water, indoor and outdoor space, great drinks and food, reasonable prices, and excellent service, then this is your place.

Milla (our coordinator) went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was very responsive. Everything was perfect. The food was very good. People still tell me how amazing the sliders at the cocktail hour were. The bartenders handled the crowd very well. The whole staff is wonderful. The view from the property is amazing. I would not change a single thing about the day.

We worked with Christine as our Coordinator at the Chart House for our wedding. From the moment we stepped into The Chart House we fell in love with the venue, the view is stunning and the decor is modern. My husband and I were blown away by the food choices and The Chart House worked with us to find a room situation that would work for our ceremony and reception. We ended up using only half of the upstairs floor for our event so there were other events going on. However, this was never an issue, the staff at the Chart House were great at making sure guests found the appropriate rooms. They do have a suite with a private bathroom to use for the night, where they were considerate enough to put some of our cocktail hour food for my husband and I to enjoy since we were busy taking pictures during the cocktail hour. The Ahi Tuna is amazing and so was all the rest of the food. From the time I entered the venue to the time I left, I did not have to worry about anything. Christine and our maitre'd Alex made the evening run so smoothly and perfectly. We had an amazing night and our guests were blown away by the food and atmosphere The Chart House provided.

The Chart House is AMAZING! I had my wedding there and it was absolutely perfect! Mike managed our wedding and was professional, nice, helpful with everything! The space is beautiful and the view is the best view of NYC I've ever seen! The food is awesome! Everyone at our wedding raved about the view, the food the space there. They were great with the vendors that we brought in too - it really made it so much easier for me to have them managing all the drop off and pick up with vendors and any questions they had. The staff that worked our wedding, including the maitre d's were all friendly, helpful, fast - true professionals! A friend recommended the Chart House and Mike to me when I got engaged and I'm so grateful she did!

I absolutely loved my wedding day, I and everyone else had so much fun. The Chart House was very pleasant, professional, and the food was great. This is the best place in the Tri-State area to have your wedding! The Chart House goes above and beyond to make your day perfect and memorable. I had the pleasure of working with Mila and she helped make all my wishes come true with my budget. I had my ceremony and reception at the Chart House and it was perfect. The food the amazing. We had our Reception at the Chart House. We could not have been happier with the experience. We worked with Milla and she was amazing. So responsive and very accommodating to our needs. We also found of the NYC skyline venues we looked at, Chart House had the best value for the price. Our guests were so impressed with the view, the food and the space. the charthouse is our favorite restaurant, and now our favorite venue. Milla helped me plan ever detail from day one. the day of the wedding was amazing, the entire staff was friendly, attentive and amazing. the food is so good, everyone was raving. and the view is amazing as well. compared to other vendors in the area, with comparable view, the Charthouse was SO FRIENDLY, not snobby like other places, and willing to work with you on almost anything.

I just had my wedding on June 14 at the Chart House. My husband and I loved NYC and we wanted a great view for our wedding. Not only was the view spectacular, but the food is A M A Z I N G. We worked with Mike C. the whole way from seeing the venue to getting the menu set up. Mike is super communicative, and knows what he is doing. I didn't question anything with him. The food was RAVED about from all my guests. If you are looking for a view of NYC and good value for your money, look no further. The Hyatt in Jersey City has NOTHING on the Chart House. The staff is great, the food is great, the view is awesome. We have nothing bad to say about the Chart House. We will continue to eat there for years to come and remember the wonderful time they helped us with.

I never would have expected such great service from a venue. From planning with Maria to working with our banquet captains the day of, everyone at the Chart House made everything work so seamlessly and effortlessly. A control freak, I knew I would have a hard time letting other people manage my day for me, but I soon learned that I could just let go and have fun. Maria was so accommodating and responsive. She really made it her job to make our day the exact way we envisioned it. And the whole night, our banquet captains made sure my husband and I had everything we wanted, even reminding us to eat throughout the night  Plus, all of our guests raved about how the great the food was and of course, the view! My husband and I have planned to celebrate all of our anniversaries at the Chart House Restaurant.

The Chart House was the second venue that we looked at and we knew immediately it was the place for us to get married. With its helpful, friendly staff, its stunning NYC views, and amazing food we were NOT disappointed.

The food was enjoyed was outstanding on the day of, we had a nice bridal suite to ourselves to decompress and had attendants who took amazing care of us.

Our guests RAVED about the place saying it was the best venue they had ever been to for a wedding.

The Chart House Weehawken was the ideal venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. I worked with Mike to finalize all of the details of the day and he was amazing. When the day arrived, Alex our maître d’ was extremely helpful and accommodating, he made certain everything ran smoothly. The food was incredible and the high level of service was beyond my expectations. It was the best day of my life in huge part to the staff at The Chart House, not to mention the breathtaking view of the NYC skyline. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about The Chart House.

We had absolutely no complaints about our wedding at the Chart House! It was an amazing day made all the more wonderful by the restaurant's amazing views, delicious food, and attentive service. We got so many compliments from our guests about the venue -- no one could get over the incredible view! It was the best day of our lives and we wouldn't have wanted it to be anywhere else!

The Chart House was a perfect venue for our wedding!! Milla was amazing to work with! She's very professional, helpful and just a really sweet person. She went above and beyond during our planning and answered so many of our questions and gave her suggestions too. She was very prompt in getting back to us and just made us feel so at ease. The Chart House has a great menu to choose from and you can easily work within your budget. The room looked great, the service was good, the food was delicious and we all had a wonderful time! I would highly recommend the Chart House for your event.

Chart house was everything we imagined and more!!! Working with their staff was so easy and they were so helpful and attentive - both leading up to the big day and on the day itself! Their prices are extremely competitive to what is in the same area of NJ and they were always willing to work with us! All of our guests told us how their service was impeccable and the food was delicious! Not to mention the up close and personal view of Midtown NYC isn't too bad either ;) our wedding day was the best day of our lives to date and the chart house played a part in helping to make that happen!

I just had my ceremony and reception at the Chart House and it was unbelievable. I worked with Mike Cetin and he was amazing from beginning to end. He was also very patient and accomodating especially with me calling him so many times to change things. You can't go wrong with the view of NYC in the background and thats all my guests were talking about the whole night including how great the food was. My Maitre D was beyond amazing and very attentive to my needs. I heard from my guests that the cocktail hour was great and that the food just kept coming. All my guests were very pleased with the service. I would recommend having an event at the Chart House over and over again. You will never be dissapointed.

The space overlooking the Hudson River and the NY skyline was beautiful. The wedding planners were very professional and responsive and the service was great. Many of our guests said it was the best party they had ever been to.

Our wedding at Chart House was absolutely SPECTACULAR! Our contact person Mike was was an expert in helping with every detail and really took the time out to help me plan a wedding beyond my dreams. The entire staff the day of our wedding was fantastic and treated my husband and I like royalty! I didn't have any worries at all and was completely confident that I will have one of the best weddings my guests have ever attended...its been 2 weeks after the wedding and my Guests are still talking about how amazing this was. The Staff was very professional, knowledgeable and went over and beyond what we can expect from a catering venue. Not only was the food extremely delicious but the room looked gorgeous and perfect when I looked at the set up before Guests were to be seated ....The NY skyline view is unbeatable! Our Maitre d's were amazing and attentive to my every need. I would highly recommend this place for weddings or any type party to be completely outstanding! Any future events will be at the Chart House in Weehawken!

When my husband and I started our search for our ceremony/reception, the Chart House was the 1st place we looked. After that, we kept comparing every venue we saw to the Chart House, and ultimately decided we would never find anywhere as perfect as this.

Our instincts were right, and we had the most amazing wedding we could ever have dreamed of. We worked with Toni for all of the planning, and cannot rave enough about her exceptional service -- she was responsive, informative, and provided fabulous guidance and advice from start to finish. She patiently answered my questions (and I had many!!), always making me feel taken care of. Also, she never once made us feel like she was trying to get us to spend more money than necessary -- in fact, she helped us get the most for our money at every turn!

We had a beautiful ceremony on the deck with stunning views of the NYC skyline, and then went upstairs for cocktail hour and our reception. The food was simply incredible, and Jessica, one of our maitre d's was fantastic. No matter what we needed throughout the night she was there, and the entire staff was truly impeccable.

At the end of the night, we were preparing to leave, and Jessica had already carefully packaged all of our things (cake server, champagne flutes, etc.), and made sure a staff member was at the ready to accompany us downstairs with everything.

We are STILL hearing from guests that we had the best wedding they've ever attended -- between the incredible set-up, food, and service, and breathtaking views of New York, we would recommend the Chart House to anyone looking for a stylish, fabulous wedding!

Mike, Jessica & Nancy made our day absolutely PERFECT... I was not an easy bride and Mike handled me with ease... (I changed my mind a lot) ... when we got to the day everything was incredibly perfect.. the room was gorgeous, the service was better than any I had ever seen at any wedding, my guests have all raved about it.. and Jessica and Nancy made sure the bride and groom (us!) were taken care of.. we always had food, drinks .. you name it.. my bustle broke and Jessica was able to fix it in a flash... The food was fantastic, it really was the most perfect location for a perfect night!

Our wedding at Chart House was absolutely AMAZING! The entire staff was on point with everything. I didn't have to worry about a thing. They are so super professional it's not even funny! I dealt with Mila for the majority of the planning process and everything. She was very knowledgeable and very professional. She gave us tips on how to get the most for our money and made great recommendations on food etc. At no point did we feel as if they were just trying to get us to choose the most expensive of everything for their benefit. The food was delicious and the setup was awesome! Everyone commented over and over again on how attentive the staff was. They even managed to make an airplane ice sculpture for us as per our request. They did so even though an airplane wasn't even in the book as one of the options. Also, we couldn't locate my throw bouquet somehow. But it wasn't even an issue because one of the Maitre d's made one out of misc. flowers for me to toss and it was perfect. I can't say enough about the Chart House crew. I just can't wait until I can have another event there. HIGHLY recommend!!

Mike, Maribela, Alex and the staff were incredible. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, the view was striking and the night was our dream come true. It was worth every penny! It was the perfect place to have our reception. THe Chart House is where we went on our first date. They treated us like we were the only customers who counted and they made me feel at ease. I was even able to get mini lava cakes. There was enough parking for everyone and my father still raves about the shrimp bowl.

They helped make my day even more special.

I can't say enough good things about the Chart House Weehawken for our wedding. Mike Cetin was our Catering Manager and was very accommodating and responsive, great to work with! Food, service and the setting couldn't be better! Prices are reasonable for larger size weddings and beat the price of many competitors in the area. Highly recommended.

The food and service at Chart House were impeccable. Our catering coordinator was very professional, organized, and worked well with us. Several of our guests commented about the high quality of the food, service, and the spectacular view of the NYC skyline. My favorite touch was that they had the wait staff come through during dinner and take drink orders so that our guests didn't have to wait in line at the bar! Thanks for a fantastic night!

The Chart House was a magnificent place to have a wedding reception. My husband and I knew the moment we went upstairs into the Grand ballroom, that this is where we were celebrating our wedding. We used a Church for our ceremony, but I didnt even shop around at other venues for my reception location. I have been to many places in the NY and NJ area being in the bridal business myself, Nothing can compare to the Chart house's service, food and view. Mike and his staff went over and beyond what we expected out of a reception venue. They are extremely personable and helpful in making my "champagne" theme really look amazing. My guests were shocked at the magnificent NY skyline view and said the food was impeccable as well as the service! A ++++ to the Chart house for making such beautiful memories for my husband and I. There are no words for how fantastic our experience was with Toni Antoniades and her staff at Chart House. From our initial meeting with Toni to the very last moments before our wedding, Toni and her staff answered our every question, provided very helpful (and cost-saving) tips and suggestions and took care of every detail. The level of attention and care that we received throughout the planning process -- and on the wedding night itself -- was out of this world!

It is also worth mentioning that the event space is gorgeous, especially at night when the view of the New York City skyline is lit up and in full view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The food is incredible and, combined with the view, the lovely banquet rooms and the absolutely superb care shown by Toni and her staff, it is easy to give Chart House our highest recommendation!

My husband and I just got married at the Chart House in Weehawken, NJ last weekend. I dealt with Toni, the Catering Manager, and she was fantastic! She was very helpful and accommodating to all of our requests. She was an absolute pleasure to work with!
The food at the wedding was just as good as the food at our tasting, and everyone was raving about the food all day! We had 2 maitre d's assigned to us on the day of the wedding, and they were wonderful. They were always coming over to see if we needed anything (drinks, food, finding people for us, etc.) - the service was outstanding! And, of course, the view of NYC can't be beat! I would absolutely recommend the Chart House.

WOW!!! Amazing Job

WOW!! What an amazing job the staff did in making my 50th birthday celebration unforgettable. I had a party of 120 guest and every guest was so impressed with the staff's professionalism. They never missed a beat on anything no matter how small. They went above and beyond. I am so honored to have had my celebration at the Chart House. From the parking attendants to the bus boys, they were all friendly and patient. The bartenders were great. The servers were great. The food was so good. The views of the skyline are out of this world. I honestly can say the Chart House made every step of the way smooth, even with another event taking place at the same time. Thanks Christine for working with me and calming my nerves many times and delivering on everything you stated. I will always suggest this place to my friends and family to host an event. The best night of our lives

Celebrating our marriage at the Chart House was truly a magical experience. Nothing was more impressive and breath taking than the views that the Chart House has to offer. Our local guests were just as stunned as our out-of-town guests, as the skyline illuminated the reception room and served as a gorgeous backdrop for photos. The quality of the food beats any wedding venue, the ambiance of the room is intimate and romantic, and the service was top notch.

Maria was our sales coordinator, she was amazing! When booking a future event we would certainly elect to work with her again. From start to finish the Chart House was professional, accommodating, and followed through on all promises/guarantees. We are both so happy we choose the Chart House and highly recommend their services to others.
Why the drop of a star for responsiveness? Our coordinator was unfortunately ill the week prior to our wedding (nothing she could do about that). However, the gentleman who stepped-in, in her place could have taken more time in reviewing our file. He missed a few points which were important to us, and added a slight amount of stress on wedding day. In the end, all issues were resolved, and the Chart House was a great experience.

Our event was amazing, from start to finish. Our son threw us a 25th Anniversary party at the Chart House, and everything was beyond our expectations. Mike Cetin, the banquet manager, was responsive and helpful every step of the way. Jessica, who was in charge during the party, was incredible. Guests with special needs (food allergies, mobility issues) were accommodated with class and everyone is still calling to tell me that it was the best party they've ever attended.

The views of NYC are breathtaking, and the food is phenomenal. We had the Hudson Buffet, and all of our guests loved the food. The service was excellent and everyone felt that they were well cared-for. Guests who arrived late were given white glove treatment. Things were so great that all of our guests said that when our son gets married, he should choose the Chart House!

As soon as we pulled up to the site, we knew instantly that this was the place for our wedding! It had everything we did and did not want. We did not want a regular, stuffy, cookie cutter reception site. Instead, we got everything we wanted with the Chart House: a place that was classy, intimate, and gave a wow factor - it overlooked the NYC skyline. Negotiation was a little difficult - they were pricier than other places we looked at and not much room to negotiate price. However, menu was very flexible to change. We went for taste testing and knew it was worth every penny. Toni was wonderful upon organizing everything down to the last detail. The staff and maitre d's were AMAZING, professional and truly wanted to make sure every single guest was taken care of. I did not have any problems with them on the day of and would recommend them to anyone. The food, atmosphere, pampering, and cost - it was all worth it in the end. I don't regret any of it one bit. I would use them again for future parties.

We had our wedding at The Chart House on June 12th, 2016. The location could not have been better. It is easily accessible, the view from the deck and ballroom are beautiful, even on cloudy days. The set up is very elegant, even for a simple wedding like ours was. We were in contact with Mike. He was very friendly and helped "de-stress" the wedding planning environment. He received us and the wedding planner there as much as we wanted and let us to do a rehearsal a couple of days before without charge. He also went through all the details with us. Communication with him was a bit difficult, though. We had to call and email multiple times to hear back to schedule visits.

On the day of the wedding, the whole staff was very professional and we felt they cared for us. Decoration was beautiful and on time. Everything was clean. The only reason we are giving 4 stars is because we had a communication problem between the waiters and the guests and they ended up not serving the sodas that were in the package and the beer was also served for very few people that asked about other beverages besides wine. People that do not drink alcohol, stayed only with water. We were very upset about this, but when we talked to Mike he apologized and said that this had never happened before. As an apology, he offered us a free brunch in the location. We thought it was very kind of him. In general, we highly recommend this venue. Beautiful location, spectacular food and very kind staff.

The venue is absolutely beautiful!! The view alone sells itself!! Leading up to the wedding it seemed like the coordinator was a little hard to track down however, with that said no questioned went unanswered. The day of the wedding the staff was spot on! They were friendly accommodating and kept the pace of the wedding smooth. I loved this place!!
