  The Best of the Best

  Charmi Peña Photography is, without a doubt, the best of the best. I cannot speak highly enough of Charmi and her incredible team. From the moment my husband and I first spoke to her, she was professional, knowledgeable, engaging, and 1000% on our side. Charmi really took the time to get to know us and listen to what we wanted, and we knew right away that we were in the best hands. Not only did she offer expert advice on other aspects of our wedding (all of which we took and worked out perfectly), Charmi was so personable and charismatic that she soon felt more like family than just our wedding photographer.
  
  During our engagement shoot and all the wedding photos, Charmi’s warmth, humor, and skill kept us relaxed (and often laughing). She navigated the busy wedding schedule with ease, staying on task and making sure to take advantage of every photo opportunity. Her creativity and talent blew us away - she would walk into a space and immediately know how to use the light and the setting to create the most immaculate photos. Charmi was kind and patient with wedding guests, expertly moving through group photos while keeping the vibe light and fun. She even took the time to cheer up our tired ring bearer and flower girl. We heard so much praise for Charmi and her team from our guests.
  
  Our wedding photos were ready in record time, and they are absolutely gorgeous. Charmi’s unique style makes each photo feel bright, intimate, and full of heart. We truly can’t stop looking at them. Charmi somehow managed to capture the overwhelming love we felt throughout our wedding, and this is a gift for which we will be eternally grateful.

  Fantastic experience!!

  Charmi was an absolute doll to work with. Prior to our wedding, she was always available for questions (and always happy to help out with advice in wedding planning as well!). During our event, Charmi was there every step of the way, not only taking stunning photos, but also making efforts to make sure everyone in the wedding party was taken care of. She even made sure I was well fed all weekend long (bringing me cactus tacos at one point!). Turnover time for photos was also unbelievably fast. We received a few sneak peaks in a few days, and we got our full set in about 3 weeks! Charmi was professional and did a fantastic job the entire weekend. Her team was also fantastic to have around. Cant wait to have another event just so I can have Charmi around :)

  Charmi Pena is as far as you should look for the perfect photographer for your wedding. I am in awe of her talent, eye for beauty, capturing emotion, for being unseen and still never missing a moment and for being there by our side through the most important weekend of our life as more than just the photographer. She not only captured our day so beautifully but also for helping make the day perfect. We absolutely loved the pictures and can’t wait to share them with friends and family. Our wedding day meant the world to us and to be able to look back it with the images she captured will help us forever preserve those memories. Charmi is an incredible photographer and a complete master of her craft, she has a true gift and we would recommend her to anyone looking to have their day captured with a complete elegance.

  Charmi's vision aligned perfectly with mine! From advising on the details to indulging me on giving her input throughout the search for my perfect dresses - she was there for me. I can't say enough about how perfectly she captured the moments that mean so much to my family - at both my wedding and at my brother's wedding earlier in the year. I'm so very happy we chose her for our day.

  You should look no further when choosing a photographer for your event! Charmi has a unique style and her creativity is impeccable. She not only is an amazing photographer, but her insight on planning and decor for our Indian Wedding were invaluable. Charmi is incredibly personable and becomes one of your best friends by the end of your wedding. Charmi is truly a master at her craft, but is always looking to be more creative and artistic than other photographers! She demonstrates a keen sense of always capturing the moments that matter. All-in-all she captured over 7000 moments at out wedding at the Westmount Country Club. If you're looking for the best and someone to capture all those precious moments, Charmi and her team are the best in the business!

  First, Congratulations future brides (and grooms)!! So exciting that you've come to find the best photographer. Charmi's pictures speak for themselves so I will not use this forum to endorse her artful talent. What you will not find out from her website is how sincerely passionate she and her team are about your complete satisfaction and overall happiness as a client. From our first meeting she spent as much time and answered as many questions as we needed to make sure we were satisfied. She agreed to shoot our engagement photos while very pregnant in over 100 degree weather because it was the most beautiful time of year at the site we chose for pictures. On my actual wedding day, I had an unforeseeable but catastrophic incident prior to the ceremony. Due to incident we could not take pictures before the wedding as we intended. Charmi whom I now call "photographer extraordinaire" instead ran around fixing my veil (which ripped), pinning me into my dress, directing the rest of my wedding party for pending pictures, and helping out in any way. She even agreed to give my husband and I another complimentary photo shoot to capture the portraits we were not able to get on our day again to ensure complete satisfaction. If you want a photographer there are so many out there to choose from. Charmi treats you like a long time friend. By the end of the wedding my family and long distant friends were saying how great and personable the photographer was!

  We couldn't have asked for a better photographer! My husband and I ranked 'photography' as one of the most important things to us on our wedding day. We feel so lucky to have found Charmi! She and her team exceeded all of our expectations! Not only does she have fantastic skill, creativity and ability, but Charmi has an awesome personality and is great to work with! We had so much fun with her at our engagement shoot and on the big day! I would highly recommend Charmi Peña Photography to anyone who's looking for a photographer that can uniquely capture the story of your love. She seamlessly managed the schedule while keeping us on track, hand picked the photos for our album herself while keeping an eye on the details that she knew were important to us (huge time saver for us!), and sent us our pictures in the most beautiful presentation ever.   Charmi Pena, her husband Patrick and their assistant Elan were our wedding photographers and they were amazing!! They have a artistic, photojournalistic style which my husband and I were looking for in a photographer. We also wanted to find someone that had shot an indian wedding before to ensure they captured all of the important events. Our wedding lasted three days and they were able to capture all of the details of the events and all of the important people in our lives enjoying the events. Charmi was happy to answer all of the questions we had leading up to the events and she gave great suggestions on how we could organize the events to capture all of the pictures we wanted that day. The day of the events we didn't even notice them half the time because they blended in great. Charmi was also very responsive to all of our multiple phone calls and e-mails. It was great working with them and we look forward to continue to work with Charmi while we are putting together our wedding album.

  Charmi and her team were fun and completely hands off during my wedding events. She was snapping away without us even knowing. At the same time, they were very aware of what was going on -- for example, when I was extremely thirsty, I didn't even need to say anything -- her team had a water bottle ready to go. This was just an added bonus to Charmi's fun personality, which made taking pictures before and after the wedding fun and stress free. She frequently checked in with me regarding different types of shots. My favorite part however was her ability to scope out pretty backdrops within seconds. I'd recommend Charmi to any future wedding planners!

  No Humility or Customer service with Wedding Guests

  Charmi's photography may be nice but her and her team's customer service with wedding guests is just simply rude and unacceptable. I recently witnessed her interaction with people like they are beneath her. Wedding guests are there to witness the special occasion of the bride and groom , however with her strict orders to not take photos on their devices just took the fun out of us attending the event. Disrespected elders and making rude comments when photographing people is just not acceptable. She also behaved poorly with children. There is something called humility, she should try to incorporate that next time. Overall none of the guests including me didn't enjoy the wedding because she made the whole event revolve around just her pictures and basically bossing around and talking down to everyone. I would not recommend to hire her.
