The Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club was the perfect venue for our wedding and reception. We did it off season and saved on the Club rental. That being said, Vicki and Mike were priceless and went above and beyond to create our perfect day. We didn't have to worry about anything from decorating to preparation and the entire day stayed perfectly on schedule. The food was phenomenal! Not your normal "wedding" food and everyone said how good the food was. I would highly recommend CHYC for your wedding!! -

Great value, professional & beautiful location. Vicki was the best through the whole process. I have to say the yacht club was worth every penny due mainly to Vicki. She helped us so many times, was available anytime for questions & gave us so much guidance. She really was our best vendor. -

Not only does the venue have gorgeous views in a very romantic setting, the service provided by this team is exceptional. You have no worries that something will be overlooked. The team is on it and has thought of it before you. The food and presentation is truly phenomenal. 5 stars all the way!!!

Alexandra Sent on 01/31/2018My daughter’s wedding was at Charlotte Barbour yatch club honestly without Vickie it would not been such a beautiful wedding. Vickie helped me save money she made me feel like she was a family member. She is proffessional n very sweet n easy to deal with. She knows you are under a lot of stress so she gives you ideas. My daughter’s wedding came out perfect I have nothing to say nothing was wrong even the guest called to say it was a beautiful wedding oh oh the food was excellent as I am writing the review I am thinking about the salmon glazed n the shrimp n pasta the food was delicious the servers did such a great job . Most of them are young and professional . At Charlotte harbor yatch you get more than your money. My family will be forever thankful to you Vicky and your staff job well done.

It is a family like environment, the waiting staff, the amazing chef, and Vicki the manager/coordinator/life saver! I planned my wedding from NY, never got to check out the venue or try the food so you could imagine the difficulty. However Vicki went above and beyond accommodating me. Texting me from home after work, answering weird random questions, making me feel comfortable with all my decisions, and treating me like we were family from the get go. And she did all this with a tight budge in a 2 month span. There isn't enough words for me to describe my gratitude for Vicki and her team. Pick this place ladies and gents because you will not regret it, it'll be wayyyyyyy above any expectations or imaginations!

They were on top of everything and we didn't have to worry about anything! They made sure everyone was taken care of and the food was excellent! The entire staff was so nice and just awesome! Brandi is a sweetheart and very professional, easy to work with and a fun person to work with! It has a beautiful atmosphere, it's affordable and a great place all around!! We will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a venue!! -

Ericka Sent on 02/25/2013A special thanks to Bo White, Brandi Peek, and the entire Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club (CHYC) staff for making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable! Brandi went out of her way to help make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. She recommended an incredible DJ, she was available to answer questions by phone or email, and meet with me several times throughout the planning process to discuss particulars of our Ukrainian-American wedding. The CHYC has breathtaking views and beautiful outdoor space for holding your ceremony water front or sunset pictures. Our guests simply couldn't say enough about the food: meat stuffed ravioli, antipesto skewers, and prosciutto wrapped melon for our h'orderves hour then a choice of chicken saltimbocca, pastrami spiced veal pot roast, or grilled Floribbean style mahi-mahi for the entrees. The waitstaff circulated throughout the room without interfering with the festivities making sure our guests enjoyed their food and didn't want another drink/cocktail. I would strongly suggest anyone planning a wedding in the Port Charlotte, Florida area to check out CHYC in my opinion the personal attention you receive and the value for the money is unlike any other venues in the area. -

Jenifer Sent on 11/27/2012CHYC did an amazing job with our wedding for way less money than most places charge. All you have to do is go there and walk around back to the harborside to know this is where you want to have your wedding. Our ceremony was gorgeous because of the view and the lovely grounds. Our reception was beautiful due to the attractiveness of the Yacht Club, the huge windows overlooking the water, the lovely table setups, and the cool Ship's Wheel bar area that our guests enjoyed. The waitstaff was amazing. Professional, constantly helpful without being disruptive. We wanted for nothing. Our guests raved about the food. The staff to help us plan our wedding was wonderful. And you even get a food tasting to pick your 3 meal choices for your guests. I still can't believe what we got for the price we paid. I am the owner of A Perfect Day Wedding Ceremonies and I will be recommending CHYC to all my brides and grooms. Thank you! -

Lee Sent on 06/24/2010The Yacht Club is easily the most love-ly of settings for a wedding. Classy and intimate, the Club sits a narrow swath of beautifully landscaped lawn on the Peace River. Our wedding, held in May, was out-of-the-box and we had the sense the staff felt the need to "get it" and couldn't, which could have deflated our vision if we weren't an older couple with strong (and creative) minds! However, during the reception, the manager took us aside to admit he couldn't envision our plans (we had, for starters, a "boat" for a head table and "storytoppers" on tables -- my inventions). Once everything was in place, though, the manager was floored, saying that he had taken pictures and so had some members of the club whom he had called to come over and see the spectacle for themselves. Also our guest list grew from an expected 80 guests to 118, so we needed the whole club. The club's rules dictated payment from 200 guests, so we had to negotiate on that, which proved expensive. Do it again? You bet. I still wake up every morning, beaming brighter than the morning sun. I turn to my new husband and say: "I so loved our wedding". Our guests write about the uniqueness of our wedding and plead they want to "do it again". However, it was truly the event of a lifetime and can not be duplicated!
