We use Charlie P. Windsor Photography for our engagement shoot and he was FABULOUS. Scheduling was quick and convenient. We contacted him on 7/1/15 and we had our shoot scheduled for the morning of 7/4/15. Despite being a holiday, Charlie returned photo proofs within the same day! When we saw the proofs, we were amazed at the naturalness and crispness of the photos. The colors were fabulous despite the cloudy weather. We received all photos electronically one week later (7/11/15) and again we were so delighted with what we saw in the photos. Charlie also shipped a thumb drive of the photos express mail so we received that the next day. We highly recommend using Charlie for all of your photo needs! Thank you CPW!! -

Charlie was excellent. I never considered my Finance and I to be the type to like getting our photos taken but Charlie managed to make it very natural. I did not have any strong thoughts on where to take photos or poses I wanted so he suggested two locations and drove the photo shoot for the full 90 minutes. Locations and photos turned out great. He tries enough different styles of poses (serious vs humor) that will fit anyone so it wasn't like all of our photos were overly dramatic. Very quick turnaround too - preview shots the next day and final photos about a week later. Would strongly recommend. -

Charlie is extremely professional, passionate about his art, and just a nice person overall. He had a lot of good ideas for poses and helped us to look and feel relaxed in front of the camera. He was extremely kind and even stayed a little late to make it to the location we really wanted.
He got the preview photos to us the next day and the final photos in exactly 2 weeks. We are very happy with them! They made great Save the Dates and additions to our wedding website. -

We found Charlie P Windsor through his Groupon for an Engagement Session - he had good reviews on both Groupon and WeddingWire, and his website galleries contained great sample photos, so we thought we would take a chance. We were initially nervous because we were asking Charlie to drive with us all the way out to Shenandoah for the photography session, but he was amenable to our offer. The drive up was wonderful - Charlie and my fiancee got along great, and he was able to get to know us as a couple during the two hour journey. Once at the overlooks, Charlie was flexible with our ideas while providing some creative suggestions of his own (many of the best photos came from these). We honestly had a fun time, and it never felt like it was work to get the photos. Charlie provided us with preview shots within a few days of the shoot, and he had the final gallery available within the 2-4 week window. We look forward to the opportunity to work with him again! -

Charlie is the ONLY reason I would consider having another wedding because he is really THAT fantastic. (Our wedding was amazing too--but seriously, our pictures are awesome.)
Our bridal party loved having him around, and they could tell that he was a wonderful photographer just by his demeanor. He was prepared to work with the super short schedule we had on our wedding day but managed to still get some incredible shots. By the time the reception rolled around, he really felt more like one of our friends than the photographer....and our pictures are beautiful!! He has a really great eye for creative shots. I'm sad that I'm only getting married once because that means I can't hire him again...maybe I can convince my husband to take some new shots in a few years!
If you're thinking about hiring him, PLEASE do it! You won't be disappointed. -

Charlie is awesome! We had Charlie take our engagement photos and it was an overall great experience working with him. He is very laid back, but always professional in responding to emails and phone calls. We coordinated the location and date with him beforehand. He is very accommodating and will work around your schedule. The day of the photo shoot it was unbearably hot outside even at 7pm. The heat and humidity got to my fiancee who couldn't stand for more than two minutes without having to break for water or rest. Charlie was very concerned. He offered her cold water and never rushed us throughout the shoot.
After the photo shoot, he provided us with the previews the same day! The finals were provided two days later and the photos came out great. Charlie is a master and his creativity and style show through on the final product. Honestly, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Charlie P Windsor to anyone. You can't go wrong with him! -

We had Charlie for our engagement pictures. I'm usually awkward around cameras and he made me laugh the whole time. We were thrilled with his service. He spend extra time to do our photoshoot. Temperature was in minus degrees; he still went with us outside holding our things in his bag, and helped us to get to the locations we decided. He made our photoshoot such a fun. Our friends and families really love his work. -

Charles is an amazing photgraper. My husband and I had our engagement shoot done by him as well as our wedding day. He made it very easy to be photographed by him, nothing was force or too posed. We live in New York and he lives in Maryland yet both times he showed up earlier than expected. We are very please and would definitely recommend anyone to take advantage of Charles' services. -

Charlie was amazing! Not only was the engagement shoot so fun but he made us feel comfortable the whole time. We had a bad experience with a photographer before and he blew them out of the water! The pictures were beautiful and he was quick to get them to us! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! -

I chose Charlie to photograph our surprise engagement. We spoke a few times before the event and he was super helpful planning. On the night of the big day, he helped me out on timing to make sure the lighting was perfect since I proposed outdoors. He was waiting patiently for me at the Netherlands Carillon and did an amazing job capturing the moment. He really made the night that much more special for us. I highly recommend Charlie, he was very professional and our pictures turned out amazing. -

We met him to take a photo shoot for anniversary photos..
He was so respectful, always on time, and easy to communicate with ( DC weather was tricky in May, we changed the date to the next day.)
We felt really lucky to find him.
He was funny and goes the extra mile.
It was so much fun to work with him.
We realized that we just found a perfect family photographer for a long time..

Charlie was amazing! He was punctual, open to my ideas, and he made my fiance and I feel so comfortable, even with all the tourists around as we did a downtown DC monument engagement shoot. Throughout the 2 hour shoot Charlie posed us perfectly, and used his expertise to get us great shots! The pictures were AMAZING, he had them back to me quickly, and all were beautifully edited. I would recommend Charlie P Windsor Photography to anyone looking for great pictures for any occasion. -

Charlie was an amazing photographer! My fiancé and I wanted to do an engagement photoshoot and I had come across Charlie on the GroupOn website. He made the whole session fun and comfortable and was great at directing us. He was fast at responding to my inquiry and there were no issues with scheduling. The photos came out beautiful and my fiancé and I are really happy with them! I would recommend him as a photographer for any special occasion. -

We recently had our engagement photo session with Charlie. From the moment we began he put us at ease and gave us great guidance. He was very friendly and we felt like it wasn't our first time meeting him. His ideas along with our initial ideas made for amazing photos. We were blown away by the photos. He had no reserve with travel so he came all the way to Woodbridge VA to do my engagement photos and they came out fantastic. He was so easy going, nice and great to work with. We got a groupon for the engagement photos, and I was actually expecting a sub-par service because it was cheaper than what he would charge and as with my previous groupon experience. However that was not the case with Charlie! He was very professional and very easy going. He was very responsive and communicated very well. His TAT, turn around time, was reasonable and he was able to get the pictures to us before the due date! I would recommend Charlie for his service! -

Charlie was one of the cool guys i have met among photographers.
He brought out the best romantic shots of us .Me and my Fiance had a great Pre-wedding shoot with him.He was super good,that he enjoyed taking each and every shot of us and we did really had a good and fun time shooting with him.He has his own style of photo styles which are too good and too cute though.

Charlie did a phenomenal job with our engagement shoot! He was super flexible with scheduling, as I had to reschedule a couple times. During the shoot, he was super accommodating to our requests, we did an outfit change, some photos with our dogs, and a fitness inspired shoot. He made us feel very comfortable, as we both are camera shy, and did a wonderful job of capturing magical, genuine moments. If you would like a unique photographer to capture magical moments to truly reflect your chemistry as a couple, Charlie is your guy! -
