Charlie was amazing! Not only was the engagement shoot so fun but he made us feel comfortable the whole time. We had a bad experience with a photographer before and he blew them out of the water! The pictures were beautiful and he was quick to get them to us! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Words cannot describe how lucky we feel to have found Charlie! He is so amazing to work with, he is so positive and flexible, we had a blast hanging out with him and were sad to say goodbye. You can tell that this is his passion and he approached our session with a lot of excitement. When saying goodbye, he literally said, "he couldn't wait to start editing our shoot and would get a sneak peak to us in two days". We received our beautiful sneak peak 8 hours later! Half way through the session, I started wondering how we could work with him again.

Another aspect that I really liked is that Charlie had a vision of what he wanted to do for our session. When I had confirmed our appointment, we discussed what I liked about our location and what I was looking for, and from that Charlie made a plan. He was open to anything we wanted to try, but we didn't waste any of our session thinking about what the next shot would be- Charlie already had it queued up for us!

It should be mentioned, although I'm a bit embarrassed, that we were 10 minutes late because I was getting my hair done at drybar. Charlie was beyond gracious about it and said to not stress because it would affect the pictures. I do not recommend being late because it is rude and inconsiderate, but when I was late, I really appreciated Charlie making me feel better about it.

Long story short, Charlie is amazingly talented and incredibly easy to work with. I cannot recommend him enough.

My fiancée Elizabeth arranged our engagement photos with Charlie, and we couldn't have had a better experience! Charlie is personable, professional, and extremely talented. He was responsive to our questions, flexible with our requests, and made the whole experience comfortable and fun. And not only did his thoughtfulness, creativity, and efficiency make it a joy to work with him, but he sent us previews from the shoot later that evening -- he managed to make us look fantastic! We absolutely recommend Charlie without reservation.

Where to start. I'll start with the service: booking was a breeze and Charlie was super flexible. My fiancee and he communicated regularly before the shooting about wants and likes/dislikes. At the last minute something came up and we rebooked for the following day. No problems at all. When we met my fiancee showed him some pictures for inspiration and we chatted briefly and then we took off. We had one of our favorite days taking photos and we felt like Charlie had more fun than we did. Around every corner he'd get excited and want to shoot a couple more pictures. He was awesome to work with.

Then we got the photos. We got our first preview that night and the rest that week. The photos were incredible. Obviously we didn't love all of them, but in all honestly we loved most of them. And there are at least five that we would have paid the entire price for just that photo. They were that good.

So to summarize: Amazing photos, extremely flexible, great service, super responsive, well worth every penny spent! I couldn't even make up a single bad thing to say about our experience. Charlie was awesome!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to any friends/family in the future.

Charlie was excellent! He was prompt, professional, and acommodating during our shoot. He took creative control and our photos turned out fabulous. Could not have asked for a better photographer and would definitely recommend him for any occasion.

Charlie was AMAZING! I happened to come across him on groupon. Before booking I had a bunch of questions. He got back to me hours later. He was super helpful in every way. He had no reserve with travel so he came all the way to Woodbridge VA to do my engagement photos and they came out fantastic. He was so easy going, nice and great to work with. Totally recommend to everyone.

We found Charlie P Windsor through his Groupon for an Engagement Session - he had good reviews on both Groupon and WeddingWire, and his website galleries contained great sample photos, so we thought we would take a chance. We were initially nervous because we were asking Charlie to drive with us all the way out to Shenandoah for the photography session, but he was amenable to our offer. The drive up was wonderful - Charlie and my fiancee got along great, and he was able to get to know us as a couple during the two hour journey. Once at the overlooks, Charlie was flexible with our ideas while providing some creative suggestions of his own (many of the best photos came from these). We honestly had a fun time, and it never felt like it was work to get the photos. Charlie provided us with preview shots within a few days of the shoot, and he had the final gallery available within the 2-4 week window. We look forward to the opportunity to work with him again!

I chose Charlie to photograph our surprise engagement. We spoke a few times before the event and he was super helpful planning. On the night of the big day, he helped me out on timing to make sure the lighting was perfect since I proposed outdoors. He was waiting patiently for me at the Netherlands Carillon and did an amazing job capturing the moment. He really made the night that much more special for us. I highly recommend Charlie, he was very professional and our pictures turned out amazing.

Charlie is such a nice person and very easy to work with. This was the first time my fiance and I have done a photo session: Charlie was super helpful in guiding us every step of the way, from telling us what emotion he wanted a particular photo to convey to where we should place our hands for a more natural look. Very professional and made us feel comfortable the entire time. Also we let Charlie know we would be out of the country for a couple of weeks; he was so accommodating and turned around our final photos quickly just so we'd be able to see them before leaving!!! Thank you, Charlie!

Charlie was an amazing photographer! My fiancé and I wanted to do an engagement photoshoot and I had come across Charlie on the GroupOn website. He made the whole session fun and comfortable and was great at directing us. He was fast at responding to my inquiry and there were no issues with scheduling. The photos came out beautiful and my fiancé and I are really happy with them! I would recommend him as a photographer for any special occasion.

Where do I begin? Charlie is PHENOMENAL. Not just as a talented photographer, but as a person. We really enjoyed working with him for our engagement shoot! He was with us all day and made us the priority. He was able to capture wonderful memories of the day for us. We were completely impressed with his passion and dedication to get the perfect shot threw out the day. He has such an awesome talent and is very creative when it comes to his work. The best choice for all of your wedding photography! Charlie has completed our engagement photos and captured so many memories at our engagement party. He was very flexible with all of our requests. We had Charlie for our engagement pictures. I'm usually awkward around cameras and he made me laugh the whole time. We were thrilled with his service. He spend extra time to do our photoshoot. Temperature was in minus degrees; he still went with us outside holding our things in his bag, and helped us to get to the locations we decided. He made our photoshoot such a fun. Our friends and families really love his work.

We got a groupon for the engagement photos, and I was actually expecting a sub-par service because it was cheaper than what he would charge and as with my previous groupon experience. However that was not the case with Charlie! He was very professional and very easy going. He was very responsive and communicated very well. His TAT, turn around time, was reasonable and he was able to get the pictures to us before the due date! I would recommend Charlie for his service!

Charlie is the ONLY reason I would consider having another wedding because he is really THAT fantastic. (Our wedding was amazing too--but seriously, our pictures are awesome.)

Our bridal party loved having him around, and they could tell that he was a wonderful photographer just by his demeanor. He was prepared to work with the super short schedule we had on our wedding day but managed to still get some incredible shots. By the time the reception rolled around, he really felt more like one of our friends than the photographer....and our pictures are beautiful!! He has a really great eye for creative shots. I'm sad that I'm only getting married once because that means I can't hire him again...maybe I can convince my husband to take some new shots in a few years!

If you're thinking about hiring him, PLEASE do it! You won't be disappointed.

Charles is such an amazing photographer!! Not only did he photograph our wedding, but he also did our engagement shoot a couple of months ago. We recommend him for anyone for any occasion! Charlie is awesome! We had Charlie take our engagement photos and it was an overall great experience working with him. He is very laid back, but always professional in responding to emails and phone calls. We coordinated the location and date with him beforehand. He is very accommodating and will work around your schedule. The day of the photo shoot it was unbearably hot outside even at 7pm. The heat and humidity got to my fiancee who couldn't stand for more than two minutes without having to break for water or rest. Charlie was very concerned. He offered her cold water and never rushed us throughout the shoot.

After the photo shoot, he provided us with the previews the same day! The finals were provided two days later and the photos came out great. Charlie is a master and his creativity and style show through on the final product. Honestly, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Charlie P Windsor to anyone. You can't go wrong with him!

Charlie is extremely professional, passionate about his art, and just a nice person overall. He had a lot of good ideas for poses and helped us to look and feel relaxed in front of the camera. He was extremely kind and even stayed a little late to make it to the location we really wanted.

He got the preview photos to us the next day and the final photos in exactly 2 weeks. We are very happy with them! They made great Save the Dates and additions to our wedding website.

We had an amazing time working with Charlie for our engagement photos! He is extremely personable and makes you feel very comfortable even if you don't have any experience with photo shoots.

We were surprised by how many beautiful moments he was able to capture. His turnaround time is incredibly fast too! We got our digital preview of 16 photos the same night as our photo shoot. We had our final digital photos in both color and black/white within 5 days.

Charlie was such a pleasure to work with and we would recommend him to anyone! We would love to work with him again in the future!

Charlie was excellent. I never considered my Finance and I to be the type to like getting our photos taken but Charlie managed to make it very natural. I did not have any strong thoughts on where to take photos or poses I wanted so he suggested two locations and drove the photo shoot for the full 90 minutes. Locations and photos turned out great. He tries enough different styles of poses (serious vs humor) that will fit anyone so it wasn't like all of our photos were overly dramatic. Very quick turnaround too - preview shots the next day and final photos about a week later. Would strongly recommend.

Charlie did a phenomenal job with our engagement shoot! He was super flexible with scheduling, as I had to reschedule a couple times. During the shoot, he was super accommodating to our requests, we did an outfit change, some photos with our dogs, and a fitness inspired shoot. He made us feel very comfortable, as we both are camera shy, and did a wonderful job of capturing magical, genuine moments. If you would like a unique photographer to capture magical moments to truly reflect your chemistry as a couple, Charlie is your guy!

Charlie was amazing! He was punctual, open to my ideas, and he made my fiance and I feel so comfortable, even with all the tourists around as we did a downtown DC monument engagement shoot. Throughout the 2 hour shoot Charlie posed us perfectly, and used his expertise to get us great shots! The pictures were AMAZING, he had them back to me quickly, and all were beautifully edited. I would recommend Charlie P Windsor Photography to anyone looking for great pictures for any occasion.

He was so respectful, always on time, and easy to communicate with ( DC weather was tricky in May, we changed the date to the next day.)
We felt really lucky to find him.
He was funny and goes the extra mile.
It was so much fun to work with him.

Charlie was one of the cool guys i have met among photographers.
He brought out the best romantic shots of us .Me and my Fiance had a great Pre-wedding shoot with him.He was super good,that he enjoyed taking each and every shot of us and we did really had a good and fun time shooting with him.He has his own style of photo styles which are too good and too cute though.

We recently had our engagement photo session with Charlie. From the moment we began he put us at ease and gave us great guidance. He was very friendly and we felt like it wasn't our first time meeting him. His ideas along with our initial ideas made for amazing photos. We were blown away by the photos. Charles is an amazing photgraper. My husband and I had our engagement shoot done by him as well as our wedding day. He made it very easy to be photographed by him, nothing was force or too posed. We live in New York and he lives in Maryland yet both times he showed up earlier than expected. We are very please and would definitely recommend anyone to take advantage of Charles' services.

We use Charlie P. Windsor Photography for our engagement shoot and he was FABULOUS. Scheduling was quick and convenient. We contacted him on 7/1/15 and we had our shoot scheduled for the morning of 7/4/15. Despite being a holiday, Charlie returned photo proofs within the same day! When we saw the proofs, we were amazed at the naturalness and crispness of the photos. The colors were fabulous despite the cloudy weather. We received all photos electronically one week later (7/11/15) and again we were so delighted with what we saw in the photos. Charlie also shipped a thumb drive of the photos express mail so we received that the next day. We highly recommend using Charlie for all of your photo needs! Thank you CPW!!

Charlie P Windsor Productions is a visual production company based in the Washington D.C. area. Charlie is a "GREAT" photographer to work with, he was very professional and has a great eye for capturing wonderful moments. Love love love his work.

Charlie was late. (HAHA terrible way to start a positive review, right? But just listen). Sometimes things happen beyond your control and you run late, but it's how you handle it that shows your true character. Charlie continuously updated me on where he was en route and when he expected to arrive. He apologized profusely when he got there and got right to work! He went over how the shoot would run and that he would give us creative direction. That was perfect for us, as we wanted to defer to his expertise. However, there were a few poses that my fiance' and I wanted to throw in the mix, and Charlie was really encouraging, played off our ideas and they came out BEAUTIFULLY!! Charlie has great energy, he's funny, and he's really good at what he does. We had our preview within 48 hours and the rest of the shots...within a week maybe? It was definitely sooner than expected. I posted our engagement photos on FB and several people inquired about our photographer and want to use him now.

P.S. I gave him 5 stars for flexibility because...well...he was! We had to reschedule I think 4 times due to inclement weather and he just rolled with it and kept assuring me that it was ok and I wasn't a nuisance. I especially appreciated that because I bought our engagement shoot on Groupon, so I wasn't paying him the amount he normally gets (and deserves) but he still treated me like a full paying customer.

Charlie is top notch. He was so easy going, gave us just the right amount of direction during the shoot, delivered the photos so quickly and did such amazing work! I would definitely work with him again in the future. I would highly suggest him to any engaged couple!

We were looking to hire a photographer for our engagement photo session. Looking through so many photographers available in DC area, our eye caugh CharliePWindsor photography service. We decided to go with Charlie mainly because of the amazing reviews we read online about his service. His friendly and professional attitude helped us to enjoy the session and we ended up with a bunch of amazing photos. We highly recommend Charlie for your own session as he is definitely the person to go with especially if you have a “feeling. Charlie will break the ice : ) and you will have a great time!

Charlie was a great photographer to work with. He gave us good direction, and made us feel easy about the photo shoot as this was our first time doing anything like it. He was willing to meet us in the early morning hours of a very busy/touristy weekend in DC. Overall we had a great experience, and fun hour or so completing the photo shoot. I highly recommend him for any of your photography needs.

We went with Charlie for our engagement photos after looking at how creative his portfolio was. We didn't want ordinary engagement pictures, and we got exactly what we asked for! He was very responsive and genuinely took time to get to know us and take our ideas into consideration. The final product was wonderful, we have so many good shots to use as save the dates and on our wedding website!

We used Charlie for our engagement photos. The pictures turned out pretty well and we were happy with what we got. We did our shoot on location at the National Harbor. Charlie was on time and personable. We used a Groupon deal to book, which was great for us :)

We got a preview of our pictures within a week, the flash drive after about 10 days, which was great!
We had a great shot to put on our save the dates and cute pictures to put in out house thanks to Charlie.

My experience with Charlie wasn't so pleasant compared to some other folks. My 6 month pregnant fiancee scheduled two appointments with Charlie with the first appointment not working out as well as we would have liked. This was mainly due to our own fault though, but we did warn Charlie ahead of time due to motor vehicle accidents on I95. My fiancee scheduled the appointments location in D.C. I know the worst location, but it had some sentimental values. The commute takes 10-15 mins for Charlie to arrive, but we’re driving from southern VA. The second appointment we tried to have everything finished, but my fiancee and I arrived 15 mins late. We were in the D.C area 10 mins before the appointment time(Can show you on our iPhone GPS Charlie), but D.C parking on a weekend is horrendous.

My ISSUE with Charlie is he didn’t show good customer service towards the end. I let my fiancee out so she could meet with Charlie, because I was having a tough time finding parking. After I was done parking our SUV my wife advised me he was angry (understandable), having a snarky attitude in tone, and ignoring a few of her questions. I approached Charlie by first starting with an apology for us being 15 mins late.

I told Charlie he would be compensated for his time and be paid for the regular price, but he needed to be professional and lose his attitude or at least not show it openly. I advised Charlie I would pay extra because of the situation, but he needed to understand we are still paying customers. Charlie in a snarky voice insisted “ If I’ve done this to you then you would be upset “ which I replied undoubtably, but I’m willing to pay you for your time wasted. I insisted again for him to lose the attitude. Charlie replied again you two just don’t understand(like we’re incompetent) that you’re a groupon paying customers, and I don’t get paid no more than a percentage of that money. I haven’t even been paid yet by you guys until I redeem the voucher.
