The flowers from Charleston Flower Market could not have been more beautiful! Catherine was so willing to go above and beyond to make sure her floral arrangements matched our vision and fit naturally with our outdoor venue. She also went out of her way to ensure the flower centerpieces at our rehearsal dinner complemented the room's decor. Easily two thumbs up!

If you are getting married in Charleston, your florist choice is EASY - Charleston Flower Market is most definitely the way to go! Catherine, the wedding florals coordinator, is SO GOOD at what she does! My flowers exceeded my imagination! They managed to take all the crazy thoughts and pictures i sent them and create arrangements that were exactly what I wanted, even when I didn't know what I wanted! They were so flexible with my budget and wedding day coordination details, they accommodated every request, and they truly went above and beyond to create the exact aesthetic we wanted. Every interaction with them was top-notch, and I am so grateful they were a part of our wedding day! Thank you Catherine and Charleston Flower Market!

Catherine went above and beyond to make our wedding perfect. She helped me to find the exact arrangements I was looking for when I didn't have a clue, and made them better Than I could have imagined. She showed up at the reception site and made sure all the finishing touches were perfect. Even gave me her cell phone number to call her for help when she saw that I was getting overly stressed out. I can not thank her enough for making our wedding beautiful and being so happy to do it.

When it came time to book a florist I personally was clueless. I had some Pintrest photos and a color scheme but when it came to a vision of how I wanted my flowers to look I needed help! I had gone to a couple florists and left feeling unsatisfied. It wasn’t until I met Catherine at the Charleston Flower Market that I felt 100% sure of what I wanted. She knew my venue better than I did and was able to help put together all my random ideas/inspirations. She was very professional and easy to communicate with. I even gave her some of my own décor to incorporate into the arrangements. On wedding day, the flowers were even more beautiful than I could have imagined!!! Everything was beyond my expectations and looking amazing. They arrived at the venue to set everything up, dropped off the boutonnieres to the guys and the bouquets to me and my girls at our hotel. After the wedding was over, they went back and cleaned everything up! It was so easy to work with Catherine and everyone else at The Charleston Flower market I highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the Charleston area!

Catherine with Charleston Flower Market is AMAZING! I barely had to have her look at my Pinterest board before she just 'got it'. She knew exactly what I was looking for and exceeded my expectations as a florist. She made my vision come to life with her arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Catherine and her sister for anything!! My cotton wreath from her store location will forever remind me of my special day too :) Thank you Charleston Flower Market!!!

I met with Catherine for my wedding day flowers. I told her the vision I had in mind and she more than delivered. I was SO SO SO pleased with the flowers, which were a surprise until the wedding day. I had requested soft coral flowers and no greenery, and she delivered beautiful mixed bouquets of hydrangea and roses. The flowers photographed wonderfully and my whole bridal party was so impressed with them. I used them for boutinierres, bridesmaid bouquets, bride bouquet, corsages, centerpieces and small table displays. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Catherine was a pleasure to work with. I'm a bit of a tomboy and have never had a good eye for decorating, so I really needed someone who could make my wedding beautiful with minimal input from me. Catherine and the Flower Market did just that! I would absolutely hire them again.

what an awesome place! They have the coolest floral shop and Catherine is amazing! She knew I was working in a tight budget and was able to give us the most gorgeous flowers within that! She had known how much I wanted trailing orchids but they are so expensive.. so without me knowing she made my bouquet with some trailing flowers that was just beautiful.

Catherine from CFM did the flowers for our wedding and she was amazing! Very flexible whenever I had to make changes and just a great person to work with! I would definitely recommend this company, great value and great flowers!

Flowers were truly unbelievable - extremely pleased and felt like I got more than what I paid for. Could not have been more pleased. The flowers were truly incredible - from the flowers themselves, to the height on the tables, to the unique designs Catherine used on some unusual aspects of the venue (light poles at Patriot's Point Pavilion and white umbrellas on the lawn) to the alter flowers, flowers in firepit, small orchids floating in the "specialty drink" and the thing I got the most comments on - the design in rose petals going up the isle. It all turned out so much better than what I was expecting - and I was expecting alot. I felt like I got more than my monies worth.

Absolutely beautiful execution! Catherine at Charleston Flower Market was a pleasure to work with, she was so professional, organized and knowledgeable. She made my wedding decor vision into a reality and it was so perfect. So many of my guests were blown away by the design and said it was making their pinterest accounts! Katherine did an excellent from the venue decorations to the bouquets for the wedding party for my daughter's wedding. Her attention to the details made for a beautiful event. She was at the venue when I arrived making sure everything was placed to her satisfaction. She was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Charleston Flower Market for any event!

I used Charleston Flower Market for my wedding at the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation. I met with Catherine to make all of my selections. We worked with Charleston Flower Market for our wedding a few weeks ago and I can't say enough about how wonderful they were! Everything turned out so much better than I could have ever expected and they were great to work with. We planned our wedding from Washington, DC so it can be a bit difficult to communicate with vendors from afar but they were very responsive and very patient when I called and emailed multiple times certain weeks with questions. Their pricing was incredibly reasonable and they delivered on everything they promised. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

I worked with Catherine at CFM for my bridal bouquet and my ceremony pieces, and I can't speak highly enough about them! Catherine was able to take my vision and turn it into some lovely floral arrangements for a decent price. She is also very nice to work with! CFM is also a very neat shop to check out.

With only having the chance to talk with Catherine once before my wedding and never actually meeting her, she did an amazing job on my flowers. We gave a wedding rehearsal dinner in Charleston, SC--very far from our home state of Maryland. All our planning was done by phone and email ----- Catherine made it very simple. After discussing the look and feel we wanted, Catherine emailed some picture ideas . After another call/ email or two, we had settled on a look and budget. We arrived at our party just a few minutes before the guests. and we were overwhelmed at the beauty of our party. Catherine did an amazing job with my wedding flowers. I'm not a flower expert so just showed her some that I liked on Pinterest and she made them come to life! My mother in law is a florist (in Indiana) and even she approved and said the flowers were absolutely stunning!

I had NO idea what I wanted for my floral decorations...I showed Catherine a few pictures of the items I thought I wanted (arbor spray, centerpieces, aisle markets, bouquets, etc.) and it was PERFECT on the day of! It's obvious that Charleston Flower Market is very experienced...we got so many compliments on the flowers! They will also work with you to bring your ideas into any price range...that is something I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend them!

We planned our daughter's wedding for Charleston SC all the way from Ohio. Our daughter originally met with Catherine Davis and showed her pictures of the bouquet she wanted. From there, the rest of our communications with Catherine occurred via the phone and email. We made a number of changes from the original plan and everything turned out exactly as we wanted. The flowers were beautiful and perfect for our needs without exorbitant cost. The gal who delivered the flowers knew exactly how things were to be set up....when I caught up with her, she had already placed everything in the chapel which was one thing we didn't have to worry about. Working with Charleston Flower Market was an overall pleasant experience.

Katherine was awesome!!!! I heard many horror stories of florists forgetting something, or bringing flowers in a color you didn't order... I had none of these! She delivered our bouquets to our hotel when we asked and they were beautiful! When we got to the reception site, I was blown away at how amazing it looked! It was more then I could have imagined, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! The flower girl baskets were absolutely adorable and creative, the ceremony area was everything I asked for! It was like a dream come true and I couldn't thank Katherine enough!!

The right flowers and decorative touches set the stage for a beautiful event and Charleston Flower Market provided both for my daughter's wedding at Magnolia Plantation. From the beginning of the planning process they were concerned with carrying out the vision we had and they executed flawlessly. The flowers were the perfect colors and were arranged exactly as we had described. On top of that, they were always positive, responsive and professional and were a pleasure to work with.

I had a wonderful experience working with Catherine at the Charleston Flower Market. I don't really know much about flowers, but I do have an eye for the artistic, so I was a little apprehensive about communicating my vision to a florist. I only had one meeting with Catherine, and we only talked for about 15-20 minutes, but it was clear that she understood what I was looking for. I didn't give many specifics for what I wanted, which I think allowed Catherine to be creative and do her job, and it couldn't have turned out better.
My three bridesmaids each wore a different color, and the flowers gorgeously complemented and unified all three. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous, and was delivered early. The reception venue looked like a dream. I didn't have a chance to see it before the wedding, but I had complete confidence that it would come together nicely, and it exceeded my expectations by a lot. We even had to make pretty major last-minute changes (due to large guest-list changes), and the Charleston Flower Market rolled with it, and still fit into my smallish budget.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Charleston flower market provided us with exactly the right flowers for our wedding day. First of all I was unsure of exactly what I wanted so when I showed up without an appointment they squeezed me right in. After a fifteen minute consultation, it was done! They are so professional and above all else to beautiful flower work. The price was very reasonable as well. They incorporated fishing lures and peacock feathers in the men's bout. that meshed my husband and I's style perfectly...I will be using them again for all of my floral needs!

We ordered all our flowers and made our own centerpieces and bouquets. The flowers turned out really good, and she even gave us extras because some of the roses werent bloomed yet. The lady gave us a lot of information and input on what would look good and we appreciated her very much.

Charleston Flower Market did my centerpieces & decorations for both my rehearsal dinner and reception. I gave them a vauge description of what I was looking for and they were able to turn it into BEAUTIFUL arrangements. They were even able to find these specific trays for me for my placecard display. Everything turned out perfect. Highly recommend Charleston Flower Market to anyone!

Charleston Flower Market did an incredible job with all of the flower arrangements for our wedding, and I could not have been more pleased! I did not have a clear idea of what flowers I wanted, but Catherine was able to come up with the perfect package anyways. I described the venue and a vague color scheme and she took it from there, and made sure that everything she provided worked with the existing scenery as well as our budget. The boutonnieres, my bridal bouquet, and the bridesmaids bouquets were exactly what I wanted, and we received so many compliments! She worked with us to use these same bouquets as centerpieces on half of the reception tables, while providing additional arrangements, aisle markers, a small cluster for our cake, and greenery to enhance what was already growing on the courtyard trellis. Communication was so easy – I planned our wedding from a distance, and Catherine made me feel assured that everything would be perfect; she took the time to meet with us during our one visit to Charleston during the planning process, showing us her inventory of vases and candles and lanterns, so that when we left, everything was completely agreed on and ready to go for our big day. I can’t thank her and her team enough for providing our wedding flowers perfect – it was one of our best decisions to go with CFM and I have been so thrilled with the pictures I have seen so far which include the gorgeous arrangements!

Catherine did a wonderful job helping me decide on an alternative since peonies are not in season in September. The flowers for the centerpieces were gorgeous and my bridal bouquet was perfect!

My beautiful daughter-in-law wanted to have an evening wedding reception at my house, outdoors, under a huge tent, but with elegant details. She only had one meeting in person and the rest of the communication was by sending a few pictures of the look the bride wanted. Catherine at CFM understood the look the bride wanted to achieve and the results were beyond our expectations. The centerpieces were absolutely stunning! The wedding bouquets were beautiful as well. Catherine is so knowledgeable and artistic!

If you are planning on having your wedding anywhere around Charleston, call Catherine for a consult NOW. She is amazing. One session, and it was clear she knew her stuff. I wasn't at our venue when the flowers arrived, but when I got there, they were exactly as we had discussed and even more elegant and beautiful in person. They are incredibly reasonable because they don't mark up their prices or have to pay the middle man. We pay less than $1500 to have 4 bouquets, 10 boutenierres, 6 centerpieces, two corsages, 2 bridal bouquets (they throw in the throwaway for free!), and several other set-ups. Just tell Catherine what you are looking for, and she knows her flowers like the back of her hand.

Charleston Flower Market did a fabulous job on the florals for my wedding. They were absolutely stunning and exactly what I had envisioned. They even smelled amazing due to the eucalyptus that was included in the arrangements. They delivered and set up on time and were very responsive to my ideas. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is because I didn't get prompt responses to my emails and found it a little difficult overall to get in touch with the florist. Luckily I didn't need much though and everything turned out wonderful!

Sweet Catherine was wonderful to work with. She's creative, extremely talented, and not afraid to work within a budget. And oh, my bouquet! Loved it! My only complaint was no one was there to pick up the arrangements from the ceremony venue. The wedding planner had left during photos to make sure the reception site was ready. Our wedding party had to carry everything out of the chapel, and my parents transported it to the reception. It added stress at what was supposed to be the "Yay! We're married!" moment. There was a breakdown in communication between the florist, the planner, and the ceremony venue and it was disappointing. The work was impeccable and beautiful, just make sure there's a plan in place for ceremony decorations at the end. I would not hesitate to use Charleston Flower Market again though.

I was a destination bride, and Charleston Flower Market made it very easy for me to plan from afar. They responded to all of my emails promptly and were very flexible in regards to meeting with me the few times I was in town. I'm also a very hands-off bride--I gave them a description of the flowers I wanted and a few pinterest photos and they did the rest--and the result was MAGICAL! Our bouquets, ceremony pieces, and center pieces were MAGICAL! Beautiful fresh flowers, exactly as I envisioned them.

Charleston flower market did absolutely beautiful work for our wedding. My flowers were absolutely stunning and everything that I could have ever wanted! When we met with them, it was great just flowing through ideas and getting things together so that it would be perfect the day of. The only thing I will say is that there communication leaves something to be desired. I would call them and leave them messages and would not hear anything or they would say they would call me back or e-mail me and I would have to call and remind them. It took several attempts to finally get a final contract, but we eventually got it all worked out. I think it's more of an organization thing than anything because we were planning things during the busy prom/wedding season. They did beautiful work and I would highly recommend them, but I think you have to have patience. But they take your ideas and make them wonderful and I don't think you will be disappointed with the results!

Catherine at The Charleston Flower Market did the flowers for my wedding, and they turned out beyond anything my modest budget could have hoped and dreamed of. They were exactly what I wanted without having to specifically specify what I wanted. I would reccommend them to anyone with a modest budget.

Our experience with the Charleston Flower Market was two-fold: The flowers were beautiful. They were exactly what we wanted. Our meeting with Catherine was productive for this. She listened to what we wanted and was able to work with our budget and make appropriate changes. There is no doubt about that, but the service left a lot to be desired. Catherine forgot about our first meeting, which was a big deal to us because we were only in town for four days (having recently moved away from Charleston), and we ended up having to meet with her the morning of our flight instead of the day prior, as planned. She was then very responsive via email to make changes, as mentioned earlier, to fit our budget.

On the day of the wedding, she dropped off the corsages and boutonnieres with no indication what belonged to which person. Additionally, she forgot all the votive candles for the tables. At 5:20p (for a 6:00p ceremony start), when I went to take a look at the reception area, I noticed this. My maid of honor and my catering manager both attempted to call Catherine, with no answer to multiple phone calls and voicemail. My catering manager was finally able to get in touch with her, and she arrived back, with the votives a bit later. The situation just lacked a certain amount of professionalism in the way it was handled.

In the end, the bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful, and the price for them was good as well, which is the main purpose of the florist. Though having had a little more faith in the service would have been nice.

I have mixed thoughts about this florist. I will say I loved my flower arrangements at my ceremony and reception, but our bridal party flowers were so horrible I actually burst into tears when I saw them. Our boutonnieres were supposed to be anemones and they were tiny and not opened at all so extra expense was pointless. My bridal bouquet was $245 and looked like something put together from a grocery store. It was mostly hydrangea and roses (inexpensive flowers) and it was suppose to have anemones (expensive flowers) but only had 3 in the whole bunch were were again barely opened so added no color. It looked nothing like the bouquet we agreed on or any of the 3 pictures I sent a minimum of 5 times. I even requested a meeting with her the day before the wedding but she only had 1 small arrangement ready for me to review. She acted like she had no time for me because mine wasn't a "big" order, but mind you I spent $1750 on flowers all together so not an insignificant budget! I emailed her afterwards and never got any responses. She also was to have a wrist corsage for our reader which was never delivered.

There are so many florists in Charleston. I'm afraid if you have a budget <$2000 you may be ignored during a busy period. I am very disappointed Catherine!

Our wedding was on May 14th, 2016. We had met with Catherine over a year before our wedding date, she was wonderful to work with and had a detailed list of what my husband and I wanted months in advance. We met with her three times before the wedding.
Day of the wedding Catherine arrived to set up and we began to notice that our flowers were not what we expected. The gardenias were brown, my bouquet had wilted white roses and was not wrapped. The bridesmaids bouquets had closed Sunflowers, and the boutonnieres and corsages were wilted and brown. I my heart sank. Catherine then went to Harris Teeter for sunflowers in an attempt to improve the bouquets.
The day after one of our close friends made a comment about our table arrangements and how it was a good idea to use fake flowers so we could reuse them. FAKE FLOWERS?! I freaked and began to look over our pictures. Sure enough our centerpieces and cake table flowers, forsythias, were fake. We had also asked for shepherd’s hooks down the aisle to hang daisy balls. Instead there were no shepherd hooks and were hung over our guest chairs.
We emailed Louise Thackeray on the 18th after we had called the store to set up a meeting. She replied that she would be in and out as it was their busiest time of year. We understood and asked her to set a date and time that fit her schedule as we would like to go over our experience with her company. May 24th we had still not heard back so we emailed her again. Finally a meeting the last week in May.
Louise met us and we explained to her our displeasure. We went over the estimate with her and she tried to explain their side of what happened. She began to mark through some of the items and said that she would look it over and get back to us. July 9th, 2016 and we have not heard a word, I emailed her again on June 3rd. Still not calls, no email. Their flowers were terrible and so was our interaction with them once they were paid in full. SO WRONG.
