Beautiful touch!

Absolute joys to work with! I loved Charleston Entertainment - they added the perfect touch to our day. They accommodated our special requests for our entrance songs and were so communicative throughout the process. I'm so happy we were able to work with them, and I highly recommend securing them if you're lucky enough to have the chance to work with them!

Cannot recommend enough!

We were thrilled to have Charleston Entertainment play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They not only did a phenomenal job, but they were incredibly professional, and you could tell that they wanted our day to go as smoothly as possible. Ahead of the wedding, everyone we communicated with was helpful and efficient with responses; they made the whole process so seamless and easy. I cannot recommend them enough!

Perfect Choice for Ceremony Music!

Andrew and Jenny were the perfect choice for our outdoor wedding in Charleston. They were very easy to work with, performed beautifully on the day, and added that extra layer of emotion to our celebration. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Best Wedding Jams!

Absolutely wonderful!! We had a string trio and DJ Jon Fiest for our wedding on 12/02/23 and we can not begin to say enough wonderful things about them. We received an abundance of compliments from both guests and other vendors on the quality of music and entertainment. They accepted special requests for a ceremony song that meant a lot to my husband and I and Jon kept guests having an amazing time on the dance floor! Book them!! You will not regret it!

Absolutely Amazing

Everyone was more than I could have asked for! They all were absolutely fantastic, especially Bill (officiant) because he chatted with my fiancé for about 20 minutes while he stood in front of the crowd waiting on my arrival. Bill made the ceremony personal and concise per our request and the strings played every song we chose perfectly. The strings choices for seating music were amazing as well. I highly recommend!

Great Experience!

We had a wonderful experience with Charleston Entertainment. We had specific songs we wanted and they were able to accommodate our needs. The musicians were professional, skilled, and such kind people. The music set the tone for the wedding and to kick off our reception!

They added so much to our special day!

All I can say is WOW! I am SO glad we went with Charleston Entertainment for our wedding back in June. Andrew was beyond friendly and helpful from day one, and on the day of, they were prompt, prepared, and amazing! We went with the violin/cello duo and they played for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Their music selection was wonderful and made the planning easier. Their talent added so much beauty to our day and I can't thank them enough!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to make their special day even more special!!!

The most beautiful string duet

Andrew and the musicians from Charleston Entertainment were absolutely the star of our wedding! We hired the string duo, and my family and friends are still gushing over the theme from Star Wars that they played as I walked down the aisle. Their arrangement was so beautiful that it was all anybody could talk about. I would highly recommend them to any couple, especially one who wants to put their own spin on their ceremony.

Couldn't have asked for a better ensemble

We are so grateful we found Charleston Music. Andrew and his crew were superb and gave us everything we asked for and so much more. They are professionals through and through, and spent time learning new songs that were special to us, and went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. They produced such a beautiful sound for our outdoor wedding... we truly could not have asked for anything better. Thank you to Andrew and your team for making our wedding remarkable!!

Highly recommend Charleston Entertainment

Charleston Entertainment did a wonderful job at our wedding and would highly recommend them to any else planning a wedding or event in the Charleston area. Throughout the entire planning process Andrew was extremely communicative, professional, and accommodating which made it very simple for us. They have a great online library of music that makes it easy to get an idea of what certain songs will sounds like and even helped us out by providing a specific list for duet offerings. Throughout the entire evening, they did a fantastic job creating the mood of the ceremony and reception. We had numerous guests compliment on how much they enjoyed the music and couldn't have been happier with Charleston Entertainment's performance.

Perfect ceremony music!

Charleston Entertainment played during our ceremony and were wonderful! They have an incredible list of music to choose from and were so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process! I would highly recommend them! We had two string musicians.

Kept the party going all night!

Charleston Entertainment really helped turn our wedding into the party we were dreaming of! They provided a violin/cello duo for the ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ services for the reception. Everything was perfect and our guests kept raving about how fun the music was! A personal highlight was their rendition of Africa by Toto which was play during our recessional. So fun and totally us! They communicated well ahead of the event and all instructions were followed perfectly. DJ Jon Feist was also amazing and played almost every song we requested. The dance floor was full all night and we really loved that he actually dj'd instead of just playing songs back-to-back. Thanks, Charleston Entertainment, for helping make our special day the BEST EVER!!

Wonderful experience with a professional group

I can't speak highly enough about Charleston Entertainment. I had a rehearsal dinner in Charleston, but I was in Pittsburgh, PA. Andrew helped with all the details of the music. He listened to what I was wanting to create and made suggestions about how to use music to enhance my vision. He made available examples of his music so I could be assured of the quality. The day of the event, he and his assistant arrived on time and provided wonderful background music for our event. He remembered a "special" song my son and I had shared and he made sure it was played at key moments during the event. If anyone needs a quality music experience for an upcoming event, this is the group you want. Excellent quality and affordable for most budgets.

Beautiful Music!

Andrew was awesome to work with. He was very responsive with questions and made sure we had everything lined up for song choices well in advance. I am still getting compliments on the music - it was perfect - including a flawless transition to recorded accompaniment when my aunt sang. Everyone enjoyed the non-traditional string music prior to the wedding and the selections played during the ceremony were beautiful.
They also helped me to find a DJ. DJ Devon was great to work with too and kept everyone on the dance floor all afternoon (brunch wedding). He played a great selection and stayed true to our music preferences.
I would highly recommend both Andrew and DJ Devon without reservation for your next event.

Professional Sound!

Charleston Entertainment did a fantastic job at our wedding on 06/04/21. While I didn't get to hear the music prior to the walking down the aisle, all of our guests were commenting on how beautiful the strings sounded while they waited for the ceremony to start. We had a string trio for our 150 person wedding and i remember thinking while I was walking down the aisle that it sounded so perfect and magical. Andrew was super helpful with booking and very responsive to emails even during Covid rescheduling etc. I highly recommend!!

Charleston Entertainment is the best!

Charleston Entertainment provided music for 3 parts of my daughter's wedding in Charleston on May 15, 2021. A duo played during the cocktail hour, a string trio played pre-ceremony, post ceremony, dinner, and first dances. They provided a DJ for the reception. Every part of their entertainment was spectacular. The musicians were all exceptionally talented, friendly and professional. The DJ was perfect for our crowd. I cannot say enough good things about all of them. Also, Andrew was friendly and very good at guiding us through the process of deciding which types of music to have for the various parts of the evening. I highly recommend choosing this entertainment company for all of your entertainment needs!

Awesome Experience!!!

Andrew is absolutely wonderful to work with. We hired a duet for the ceremony and cocktail hour, they were amazing. We asked them to play some detailed music for the ceremony and they knocked it out of the park. If you are deciding on having stings for your event, look no further. You definitely want to hire them.

Flawless strings

Andrew and his partner were wonderful! It was always my dream to have strings at my wedding, but being in a small town, I thought it would be impossible to find. These guys made the drive from Charleston all the way to Timmonsville (keep in mind my venue changed 1 month before my wedding, and they were still so accommodating), and made my dream come true. Not to mention the music was flawless and truly made my wedding all that I had ever dreamed it would be! They were so easy to work with and so flexible. They played for both my ceremony and my cocktail hour and it was one of my favorite details from the whole day. Thank you, Andrew and Charleston Entertainment for making my wedding day perfect!

Beautiful music- highly recommend!

We hired Charleston Entertainment to play the music for our January 2021 wedding ceremony. We initially chose a duo of the violin and cello, and after the fact I decided that I wanted to incorporate the beautiful organ at St. Luke's Chapel into the prelude and ceremony music and Andrew did not disappoint. They can play just about anything from classical to contemporary and they do it with style! They were even able to add in some Metallica for the prelude music for my husband!

I highly recommend Charleston Entertainment for your music needs- They are professional and accommodating and do an excellent and beautiful job.

Professional, on time, diverse, high quality

Could not have been happier with how everything went with our wedding. Andrew was easy to work with and helped us navigate the website and fill out the form for what songs we wanted and when. Every song option has an audio file so you can hear what to expect when it is played on the string instruments. We asked that they learn a song 20 days before our wedding and they were able to accommodate it flawlessly. Jenny and Cameron were a hit and I received a lot of compliments all night about the songs. Great group! Would recommend to anyone for any occasion.

Dream Wedding during the 2020 Pandemic!

Andrew and his team are outstanding! We had the string trio at my daughter's wedding and their music was beautiful and added so much to the ceremony. During the pandemic, we had to change dates and change the venue 6 weeks before the wedding but they were so professional and easy to work with! I can't praise them enough!

Best decision of our whole wedding!

Absolutely wonderful! There are not enough words to express how wonderful Andrew with Charleston Entertainment was to us during our wedding planning process. They were a dream to work with. Every moment of our wedding day was perfect! Highly highly recommend booking the strings for any ceremony. It made it so magical. Our DJ (Sam with Dream Day Charleston) was on point with the music all night long! He rocked the house and had everyone dancing till the very last moment of the reception. Every person who attended could not stop raving about the music, both during the ceremony and reception. These guys are truly THE BEST!!!!

Awesome team of musicians!

We had a string duo play our ceremony music and cocktail hour and it was the perfect addition to our wedding! They were so accommodating and learned Kanye West’s “All of The Lights” for us! Their selection of songs they can play is extensive and all encompassing. They have such a wide range including current pop songs. Their website is so easy to use and has a list of all their songs where you can play samples of each. The whole process was very straightforward. I loved having live music for our ceremony and I felt it really livened up the cocktail hour. They were so easy to work with and communicated very quickly. I would highly recommend Classical Charleston for any event!

Beautiful music! Incredible service! Highly recommend!

Less than two weeks before the wedding, the music vendor my daughter hired informed her the acoustic ensemble would not be able to play the music she selected for the ceremony. I reached out to Andrew at Charleston Entertainment and he was able to confirm a violin and cello duo the same day. Andrew worked with our wedding planner and confirmed everything with my daughter. It couldn't have been any easier and it was exactly as I imagined it would be. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the wedding and Frances and Unus-Dian made it so much more special with their beautiful music.

Amazing musicians!

Hiring Charleston Entertainment to play at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour was a fantastic decision! Andrew was a delight to work with and so professional. I was able to request a Vance Joy song not in their repertoire for my walk down the aisle and it was absolutely perfect! We received so many compliments on the music selection and how their performance truly added to the magic of the day. It ended up sprinkling in the middle of our ceremony, so the band had to run for cover to protect their instruments, but they still managed to complete our recessional song from under our reception tent. If you’re looking for classical musicians for your wedding or function, I highly recommend Charleston Entertainment!

Put our ceremony over the top!!

We loved our strings duet! They played a beautiful range of pop and classic rock songs on the strings. I walked down the aisle to Sweet Child of Mine! This was something so fun and unexpected, but subtle, a detail that our guests really loved. Highly recommend for your ceremony music and audio needs!

An Exquisite Addition for the Perfect Wedding

I am writing this review as the mother of the bride for my daughter's wedding on August 28, 2020.
Andrew and Jenny deserve all of the credit for putting a perfect wedding celebration into motion. A gentle good-luck rain fell from the sky at this outdoor wedding and they played their exquisite music appearing to have not a care in the world. We requested very few songs from their wide-ranging repertoire because we had total trust in their knowledge and expertise. However, the songs that were requested at the beginning and end of the ceremony were played with spot-on timing. We also requested an arrangement for an additional song and although I missed hearing it, I have no doubt that it was beautiful. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, Andrew offered reliable advice and suggestions. Due to the pandemic, this wedding was postponed twice. Andrew stayed with us through all of that trauma, which gave us great peace of mind. Music is an integral component of a wedding; we are so glad we had Andrew and Jenny add their extraordinary talents

Top notch musicians!!!

Andrew & his team are fantastic! Due to covid we had to change wedding dates & they were so flexible! We used the duet Violin/Cello and it was gorgeous- the music sounded so perfect and everything we had imagined! We also used Dj Jon Feist who is also part of Classical Charleston & he was outstanding- our wedding was thee best that I’ve ever been to! Definitely recommend this amazing team!

Breathtaking

My daughter's wedding on Sunday, July 12th was stunning at the Carriage House on the property of Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. She and her groom chose several non-traditional songs for their wedding, and Classical Charleston was so very flexible and accommodating! The musicians did an impeccable job and really set the tone for the ceremony. It was just beautiful, and we can't thank them enough! We recommend them without reservation!!

Not only did the string duo we booked play beautiful music flawlessly for our ceremony & learn Neil Young’s ‘Harvest Moon’ for my walk down the aisle, they also adapted seamlessly to a last-minute change in venue. I got married 3.21 - in a small backyard ceremony rather than the larger event I’d planned downtown (thanks COVID19) - & even though a ton of things fell apart that week, being able to count on Classical Charleston to still supply the music during our intimate ceremony was so special. ❤️

Classical Charleston was so lovely to work with. They had a great selection of songs to choose from, including more modern ones! They also were able to learn a new piece and worked with my bridesmaid who sung the song as they accompanied her. Our daughter (the bride who is also local to Charleston) heard Classical Charleston perform at a bridal show she attended. She was so impressed, that she booked them immediately for her March, 2018 wedding. We hired a strings trio and they provided music for her ceremony and cocktail hour --- in the gardens at Middleton Place. This group of professional musicians provided assistance throughout the planning process (a sampling of music, various genres and they helped guide on specific selections we needed to make). Great to work with, on-time for everything, very professional. Phenomenal talent - highly recommend!

I’m so glad we chose the violin & cello duo to play for our outdoor ceremony at The Historic Rice Mill. I highly recommend hiring Classical Charleston for your ceremony (or anything else for that matter)! I went into wedding planning knowing exactly what I wanted, and had many specifics I "had to have". I was unsure if anyone would be able or willing to make my visions for ceremony music come to life, and then we found Classical Charleston! Extremely professional, responsive, and accommodating. I was able to have such personal songs played at my ceremony on strings! I was in shock when I was waiting to walk down the aisle on the side lawn of Boone Hall and heard them start to play my wedding party music. I couldn't help springing up and down next to my Dad going "oh my gosh, oh my gosh, IT SOUNDS SO GOOD! It's perfect!!!!! Everything I hoped for!" I really cannot put into words how personal and special Classical Charleston made our ceremony. It was the best day of our lives, and I am so happy that Classical Charleston was part of it! Classical Charleston provided the music for our wedding ceremony at Hampton Park (4-7-17). I was extremely pleased at how easy it was to communicate with Andrew. This was a destination wedding for me and I reserved vendors based on reviews. If I were to do it all over again, I would pick Classical Charleston again in a heartbeat. They were easy to work with and the music was such a hit at my wedding. These guys were complete professionals that needed little to no direction. They entertained guests and kept the feel of the wedding both classy and beautiful. I had always dreamed of walking down the aisle to a string version of "1,000 years" and it was even better than I had hoped! If you are looking for a string duo, trio or anything else it would be a mistake to go with anyone else.

Classical Charleston performed 'impeccably' for my daughter's wedding ceremony at Wild Dunes. Andrew Mille and Tomas provided amazing cello and violin music for the wedding ceremony. Andrew provided very professional guidance ahead of the ceremony as well. What a lot of people don’t understand, when planning a wedding, is the importance of the ceremony music. Sure, the guests most likely will not remember the exact songs you selected but the bride and groom will always remember the rush of adrenaline each song gave them in anticipation of the moment they were to meet at the altar. Classical Charleston did an absolutely amazing job in creating a romantic, yet fun, tone for my wedding two months ago. On top of their extreme talent, they were professional and willing to accommodate our specific requests. Initially, I dreaded the idea of choosing the music for our ceremony, but their suggested set list was a dream to browse through. We ended up choosing three classic Beatles songs (my fav!) and asked them if they could learn "our song" for when I walked down the aisle - which was Berlin's "Take My Breath Away." All of the songs sounded perfect of course, but it meant so much to me and my husband that they were willing to include “our song” as well, though it wasn't listed on their website as an available choice. Their rendition of "Take My Breath Away" was the most beautiful version I've ever heard, and I can say with confidence that when my husband and I reminiscence about our wedding day we will forevermore feel grateful for Classical Charleston and their willingness to accommodate our special request. Thinking now, it still gives me butterflies! And that's the type of reaction you are sure to have when using Classical Charleston's services. LOOK NO FURTHER – Classical Charleston is the only choice for your next elaborate/casual/fun/modern/traditional event, as far as I’m concerned :)

I truly could not imagine the music during our ceremony being more beautiful. We also had Classical Charleston play during our cocktail hour, it set the perfect vibe we were going for. I would highly recommend Andrew and CC to others.

Classical Charleston did a wonderful job - they had a very wide range of music options and played all of the songs we suggested, we got tons of compliments from our guests on how beautiful the music was. Very professional and I'd highly recommend!

Andrew was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He went out of his way to make recommendations and provide an additional song list and everyone (including my husband and I) were blown away by their level of professionalism and talent. These guys are a great addition to a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour or reception. I 100% recommend!!

I would highly recommend Classical Charleston! They played our ceremony and cocktail hour beautifully! I even had guests comment that they were playing a great mix of songs during the cocktail hour and were really talented! They also worked with us on price which was great too!

I would highly recommend classical charleston for any event that you might be hosting! They were very professional and honest with me about what type of musician would be best for my wedding. They were always quick to respond to my emails and did an amazing job with the music at my wedding. Absolutely wonderful!

Andrew was incredible to work with. I knew after we had our les miserables conversation, Classical Charleston was the string duo for us! Andrew responded quickly to all my emails and was more than willing to work with me on our songs. It was very important that our ceremony be personalized, and I can honestly say Andrew went above and beyond to help us achieve that. I never did get to meet him in person, but I hope he and his team realize how special they made me feel the day of our wedding as I walked down the aisle. Its a moment I will never forget, and my husband and I cant thank them enough for such an amazing ceremony performance. We highly recommend Classical Charleston!

They were amazing! The played several songs during our wedding ceremony. They were even willing to learn new music for our ceremony. I requested that they play the theme from Harry Potter (titled Hedwig's Theme) instead of the wedding march and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

I contacted Andrew Mille of Classical Charleston and found him very professional and easy to work with. They provided a violin and cello ensemble for my daughter's wedding, and I was very pleased with their performance and professionalism, even accommodating my 10 year old nephew by allowing him to play a piece with them as a gift to my daughter for her wedding day.

We had a cello/violin duo for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and they were incredible. They have an extensive list of songs to offer and provided suggestions for our ceremony songs. Andrew and his team are simply the best in town!

Andrew Mille and Tomas Jakubek played strings inside our historic venue during dinner. They played contemporary music and surprised most of our guests. The guests enjoyed having someone sit in front of them playing the cello and violin beautifully to songs they were familiar with. They did a beautiful job! I received compliments all night! They were prompt, professional and wonderful to work with. I definitely recommend their services!
