    Fantastic add for our Wedding!

    ​​Charles was great and a perfect way to cap our special day. He was able to be incredibly flexible and easy to work with. In the midst of planning everything else Charles made the music one fewer thing to worry about. He brought his own speaker and extension cord, and was able to set the scene to welcome our guests as they arrived and lead each part of the event well by setting the tone through his music. We had so many guests comment on the magic that was added to the event due to Chales’s music. Definitely worth every penny!

    All around wonderful!

    Charles is wonderful and his music is too! His communication when we were exploring hiring him was clear and responsive, and his price was competitive. Charles arrived at the wedding venue self-contained and prepared. His music was absolutely wonderful and helped make the special day, and special location of the Berkeley Botanical Garden's Redwood Grove magical. Highly recommend hiring Charles with zero reservations. Thank you Charles for sharing your talent!

    Awesome Cellist!

    Having Charles play at our wedding absolutely elevated our intimate event’s ambiance to a whole other level. We loved that that Charles had recommended both contemporary and classic wedding songs for us to choose for our event, so we truly had a variety through the night. He was also great to work with - super responsive on email, had his own audio set up and learned a few songs that were meaningful to us per our request. If you’re still stuck on music options for your wedding, we’d highly recommend hiring Charles!

    Charles is amazing!

    If you are looking for a talented individual that can play a wide range of music genres, this is your guy! All of our guest loved him and the songs he played. Also, he made me cry at the alter even before my wife walked down the aisle. Thanks Charles for what you brought to our wedding!

    Charles is amazing. He added such an amazing and elegant touch to our wedding. He is so professional and detailed. My husband and I met with our wedding planner the day after our wedding, and there were so many compliments to Charles from everybody at our venue. She even said she'll recommend him to her future clients!

    Romantic sounds to fill the day

    Charles was amazing to work with. He was prompt, responsive and an extremely professional musician. He left no single dry eye in the crowd and filled the wedding experience with love. I would highly recommend Charles to play at anyone's wedding, if you want a romantic wedding!

    Charles is fantastic - book him!

    Charles is amazing - so sweet, so organized, and he plays beautifully. He was even able to accommodate my requests for songs he didn't know on fairly short notice (~1 month), and he didn't get flustered about the venue set up (it was a bit of a hike from the parking lot to the ceremony location!).
    I would strongly recommend Charles to anyone looking for a way to make their day stand out - amazing quality at a very fair price.

    Easy peasy and such a pro!

    My husband and I hired Charles to play at our outdoor wedding last week and are so glad that we did! We (like many others) were really impressed with his songs on YouTube and were looking forward to having some contemporary songs in the mix. Charles did a lovely job with both our processional and recessional songs (Stand by Me, At Last, and Got to Get You Into My Life) and with making great song selections for the prelude and cocktail hour. We weren't too particular, so we let him have free rein there. Charles was a pleasure to work with and we'd highly recommend him to others!

    Amazing performer and person

    Charles was extremely responsive and a wonderful cellist. Everything went amazing. He showed up early and was ready to go for the whole ceremony and cocktail hour.

    Highly Recommend!

    I knew I wanted to have musicians at my wedding, and booking a group of string will be out of my budget. That's when I found Charles! His pricing is reasonable and I always love cello music. Charles is very easy to work with; he's very responsive and flexible. Highly recommend!

    Highly recommend!

    I highly recommend Charles - he was easy to work with, responsive, professional, and played such wonderful music for the ceremony and cocktail hour of our wedding. He was kind enough to learn a couple new songs that were meaningful to us, and it was so wonderful to hear them on our wedding day. The live music added such a festive element to the whole event, and several of our guests complimented Charles' music as well!

    Easy to hire, excellent performance

    Charles played in our beach wedding ceremony and cocktail hour yesterday and he was so amazing! Everything went so well even from just planning over email. We knew Charles was good from his youtube videos (and he didn't disappoint!) but we were pleasantly surprised by his professionalism and his kindness. Most of the planning happened the week of the wedding. We gave Charles a small list of songs we wanted him to play and he was all for it. He even recommended a playlist of his own, breaking it down to the list of the songs for the prelude, wedding march, recession, and cocktail hour. It just so happened that almost all of the songs he recommended were the ones we wanted! He was so easy to work with. Out of all the choices we made leading up to the big day, hiring him as our cellist was one of, if not the, best! Thanks Charles!

    Charles played at our wedding this weekend in Palo Alto. He was nothing short of amazing! From the beginning to the end of our ceremony, he made it extra special for us. All of our guests came up to us afterwards to praise his performance. We highly highly recommend him!

    From the start of our wedding planning, I knew I wanted either a violinist or cellist to play at our wedding. Unfortunately the vendor that our venue recommended was booked on our wedding day so I started searching online and came across Charles. I saw his youtube videos and fell in love with his music. I knew I needed to book him for our wedding. Charles was extremely easy to work with and was always open to ideas. There were songs that I wanted played during our ceremony and cocktail hour that was not on his playlist and he was willing to learn it for the wedding. He was always very fast at responding to emails. I cannot thank him enough for making our wedding extra special.

    It’s so difficult to choose a musician, especially when you have lots of guests that are already professional in music and you are such a picky bride. After a lot of back and forth with so many talented musicians, we chose Charles. He played Cello for our ceremony and Piano for the reception. We had a list of complicated classical music, which we wanted all in the exact way and orders. He did such an amazing job. He was on time with very professional look and he professionally played all we wanted. He knew exactly when to start and stop. Our guests all enjoyed it and so amazed by his talent. It is such a difficult job to satisfy a bride, especially someone so picky like me. We are so pleased with Charles, and we absolutely recommend him, also we are planning to have him in our future events.

    Charles is a gift to music, his performance at our ceremony is one of the things that made it so magical and memorable. The fact that he had dozens of youtube videos on his channel for us to go through was so convenient and a great sign. We listened to all of them, some of them several times before making our ceremony playlist, bridal march, bride's entrance and recessional. I have to say the youtube videos were spectacular alone, but hearing him play them live was absolutely sensational. There was not a dry eye at our ceremony once he played the Beauty & the Beast theme and my wife to be walked down the aisle. The sound of the cello is one of the most beautiful sounds we have as music lovers, and when it's played correctly, there is no better and more emotional sound in our opinion. Charles not only played perfectly and with passion but he really set the tone and mood for just how meaningful and magical our wedding was to us. You will not get a better solo performance, and at the price point it's surely the steal of a lifetime. He was a pleasure to work with, very flexible, attentive, respectful and polite. More than recommend it, I would insist that you have Charles play the cello live at your wedding or special event.

    Cannot speak highly enough of Charles!! Easy to work with, and so very talented! Really set the mood with the beautiful tone of his cello. He even coordinated with my sister who plays the harp, and they basically had a jam session we all got to listen in on. It was my dream to have harp and cello, so very happy with Charles as our musician!

    I had the pleasure of working with Charles at our March 19 ceremony in San Carlos California. Charles was extremely professional and open to my ideas for the ceremony and cocktail hour music. He conducted an introduction call with me a few months before the wedding and he worked closely with my wedding planners the week before the wedding. He is very talented! Charles was able to play everything from John Legend to modern pop during the event. Hearing him play as I walked down the aisle was the perfect entry for our winery wedding. You have to check out his YouTube clips. He added a special romantic feel to the entire evening. I would highly recommend Charles for any wedding.
