Mitzi is a fantastic wedding officiant. She has the perfect amount of character, soul, and conscientiousness to lead a beautiful ceremony. We were convinced by her page by itself, but if you're still unsure, watch some of her recorded ceremonies and you are likely to find what you are looking for.
Her punctuality and responsiveness made us confident she would deliver all her work when she promised it. She took the time to get to know us and created a ceremony/script that matched the character of our relationship and values. I think we were unsure about all the things that should be said during our non-religious ceremony, but she really helped us fill those gaps because she saw us for who we are. It seems common to have a close friend or loved one be your wedding officiant nowadays, but we're glad we decided to use a professional like Mitzi. -

MITZI SCHWARZ
For mature transatlantic comedy fans the work of Peter Cook, who with his surrealist partner Dudley Moore led the pre Monty Python laughter invasion, is a joy to behold.
Exhibit A: Cook's madcap cameo as the "mawage" officiant in the deliriously funny "The Princess Bride," written by William Goldman and directed by Rob Reiner.
Now modesty forbids oneself and my new LA bride (Lenore Lowen Alemoru) being the Cary Elwes and Robin Wright of that particular finely scripted romance, but we do owe a debt to our wonderfully humorous and kind Chaplain Mitzi Schwarz, who superbly and sublimely officiated our October 18 wedding at The Ambrose Hotel in Santa Monica.
In a pre-planned almost to the second 40 minute ceremony, Mitzi delivered a hybrid Christian-Jewish-Yoruba blessing in front of our nearest and dearest as her bon mots danced brilliantly into the ether of a spectacular, sunlit mid morning to late afternoon day.
However, amazingly, I had only spoken to Mitzi for the first time just over a month before our big day and that was on an introductory call from my home city of Manchester, UK, after my then fiancée discovered her details online.
The connection was instant as she absorbed our romantic story and then set up an immediate zoom interview followed by a detailed questionnaire about how and why we got together, exactly what kind of ceremony we wanted, who would be attending and what input did we want them to have?
Mitzi then wove a touching wedding ceremony script around "The Bard and Milady" that will live long in the memory.
For us Mitzi is a "tweasure."

She made our wedding very special!
Mitzi was an excellent communicator and responded in a prompt manner whenever we reached out to her with questions. She was available over phone, text and Zoom and was accommodating of our preferences.
We communicated over text, email, phone and Zoom, whichever was best for the occasion. For instance, she met us over a Zoom call, while she was available via phone and email.
Mitzi went above and beyond to make the ceremony individualised in relation to our spirituality. She genuinely cared what our backgrounds and values were. Something I appreciated was that it was acknowledged that while my husband and I were similar in some ways in our spirituality, we have differences, and the ceremony reminded me of how they and we as individuals complement each other.
It was a beautiful ceremony on the beach, and Mitzi was encouraging of where we chose to get married that felt right to us, and made our elopement an experience that was a meaningful beginning to our marriage. It felt full with just the two of us.
Mitzi was a wonderful officiant and it was a pleasure to work with her. She brings warmth and an investment in your wedding being a meaningful event. Even though we were happy already to be getting married, Mitzi still brought a sense of joy to the ceremony that was infectious. I highly recommend working with Mitzi! -

Working with Mitzi was so easy, we highly recommend her if you are in need of an officiant! She's so professional and her communication was really good leading up to the event and the day of the wedding was perfect- just as planned! The ceremony was intimate and had a few funny moments, just as we wanted. Her questionnaire was thorough which is how she got to know us and write about us + we had a 1 hour zoom call to get aligned on the type of ceremony we wanted. Guests even commented that they really liked Mitzi :) -

Absolutely the very best!
Mitzi just officiated our wedding this past Saturday evening. We could honestly not be any happier with her leading the ceremony. Right from the start, Mitzi was extremely thorough, very professional, very organized, a true help to us and every possible way and quite frankly, the ceremony would not have been the same without her. She is so extremely friendly, heartwarming, caring and so kind. As a wedding pianist, I found Mitzi to be one of my favorite officiants I’ve worked with. She was kind, very organized, and made sure we were on the same page about cues. She was very clear with her plan with me. I find myself often at edge when an officiant gives me ambiguous instructions or is unorganized. With Mitzi I found myself completely at ease the ceremony flowed perfectly.
She wrote a beautiful script that was clearly personalized to the Bride and Groom. She never once made the ceremony about herself and was able to create a ceremony that blended the Bride and Grooms different cultural backgrounds. Definitely recommend Mitzi! -
