Wonderful Ceremony

Dale did a wonderful job officiating our ceremony. We told him we wanted to keep it quick and to start and wrap up on time and that is exactly what happened!

Wonderful Expierience

Dale is incredibly relaxed and makes a stressful time easy. He is flexible with being able to meet with couples and has many options available to help the wedding couple organize the vows. I would recommend him for any wedding style, elaborate or backyard BBQ (like ours). Thank you again Dale :)

Chaplain Dale is the ONLY wedding officiant you need consider. He is professional and a real joy. He let us completely customize our ceremony, and included our religious and personal touches. An absolute pleasure to work with

Chaplain Dale was a pleasure to work with from start to finish!!! I loved the booklet he sent us to help organize our ceremony and it was even personalized with our names. He was available for questions and his engagement and interaction with our guest was great I know my father enjoyed chatting with him. He helped walk through everything during rehearsal the day before the wedding and was well organized didn’t worry about anything when it came to his services

Great Experience

Dale was very professional and made us feel comfortable. He listened to what we needed and let us customize. Everything went great! Dale even offered us a military discount due to my husband being in the service. We really appreciated that!

Dale is the BEST!

if your looking for an officiant. Stop and look no further! Dale is the BEST. We expressed what we were looking for and he exceeded our expectations. He was hands down one of the best investments we made for our wedding.

After our wedding we had about 15 of ours guest comment on how great Dale presented himself during our wedding.

Such a trooper!

Dale was so great! Every interaction we had with him was very pleasant. From the beginning, he was very patient with us as we tried to decide what we wanted included in the ceremony. Even when a couple days before the wedding we, once again, decided to change something.
On the day of the wedding he was jovial and engaging, which was even more of a feat because it was pouring rain on everyone. I would encourage anyone to choose Dale to be their officiant!

Perfect fit

Chaplain Dale was absolutely amazing. My husband and I definitely saw the spark in his eye and passion for what he does. Dale is a very genuine person and he was the perfect fit in to our wedding. Originally I had asked a friend to do the ceremony but it didn’t work and so last minute I spoke with Chaplain Dale and he was able to officiate for us! I honestly couldn’t have had or envisioned a more beautiful ceremony. All I can say is thank you Chaplain Dale for being there for my husband and I and getting to know us through this process. You made our day very special.

Choose Chaplain Dale, he's awesome

We chose to hire Chaplain Dale after reading reviews and meeting with him in person about 9 months before our wedding. We did not live locally, but Dale made it easy to meet up and discuss everything prior to us deciding on him as our officiant. He is very communicative and responds quickly to texts/emails. He has a very calm attitude and we never felt stressed making any decisions as far as the ceremony process went, thanks to Dale's Ceremony Booklet Guide. He accomadated last minute changes to the ceremony with ease. His travel fee is very reasonable. He showed up on time for the rehearsal and wedding, was friendly and professional through and through. He did a great job with our ceremony and we are extremely happy we decided to go with Chaplain Dale. He is AWESOME! Seriously, don't think twice, he will do a great job.

Chaplain Dale was so kind and accommodating. He sends everything that you need with many different options for vows/inclusions in your wedding. My husband and I are not specifically religious, and Dale allowed us to cater the vows to what we wanted. Our guests are still talking about our wedding, how funny Dale was, and how the ceremony was so touching. Thank you, Dale, for making our day so special and memorable!

We couldn't have been happier with Dale as our officiant. He made the entire process from booking, to planning, all the way to the actual ceremony SO EASY. He was so accommodating and caring throughout the whole process. He was professional and fun, and made our ceremony the absolute best it could have been. He is a great speaker and everything flowed perfectly. He is also affordable.

WOW! What a great day. Chaplain Dale was super nice, professional and a breeze to work with. I really appreciate his demeanor and friendliness toward my family and friends. He fit in nicely and handled the paperwork seamlessly on such a hectic occasion. The prep work before hand was clear and inspiring and offered us many options for readings, blessings and vows. We could not be happier. He handled the ceremony flawlessly even when our dog brought the rings to the groom! It was perfect! Thank you so much.

Dale was very professional and timely; he was open to new ideas but also had a book of choices for ceremony ideas for us to choose from. He can make a ceremony more religious or not much. We very much enjoyed Dale as our officiant!

Dale was - IS - AMAZING! I was 'awarding' my husband a medal from Star Wars and wasn't sure how to do it, Dale had the perfect solution! Planning from out of town was difficult but Dale helped make the officiant portion a breeze! Dale officiated our wedding last July and was the best! He was easy to work with, very responsive and knowledgeable on the whole process. He made us both feel at ease the moment we met him and started to talk about our wedding. He showed very genuine interest and guidance as finding an officiant and ceremony vows details was an area we were clueless on. He helped us find a middle ground for our ceremony that was personal and pleasing to both sides of our family; the ultra conservative and the non-traditional. But also very true to who we are as a couple. They still tell me a year later how wonderful our ceremony was and how they loved what Dale said. He was one of the best people we worked with on our wedding day and so glad we choose him!

Dale did not disappoint. He was incredibly quick to reply- he overnighted a preliminary ceremony to us before our first meet-up, & he permitted us to make as many changes as we liked to really make our ceremony uniquely ours.
He put our families & friends at ease during our rehearsal & he brought a dose of joy & calm to our chaotic wedding day. My husband & I felt incredibly at ease with Dale.
He offers the gracious gift (of a discount) to couples of whom one or both individuals are law enforcement officials; his fees for both officiating & for travel are the most reasonable I have found in all of western Washington.
Dale maintains a long list of vendor contacts, & his wife runs a wedding décor rental shop- you'll find the essentials along with an assortment of timeless pieces to create a beautiful event. An officiant & a rentals for your special day- you can check two vendors off your list & be certain you won't be disappointed.

Dale did a wonderful job as our officiant! He was incredibly easy to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. His wealth of experience truly shows and we worked with him to create a fantastic custom ceremony. We had family visiting from Colombia who didn't speak English, and Dale was more than willing to weave in some bilingual aspects to the ceremony, going as far as to learn a couple lines of Spanish himself! We received many compliments from our guests on the ceremony and Dale’s role in it!

Chaplain Dale was the perfect addition to our ceremony! I initially hesitated to hire someone I didn't know to officiate the ceremony, but I'm so glad I did. He was a consummate professional, and we received many, many compliments on him and our ceremony from our guests. Chaplain Dale made planning as easy as we wanted, with suggestions for every component, but was also entirely open to our contributions. Throughout the planning process, Dale was available to quickly answer questions. The meeting before the wedding made us feel at ease with the plan for the ceremony, and with Dale attending the rehearsal, we had no doubt our ceremony would proceed without a hitch. During the event, Dale was composed and clearly in his element, having done hundreds of ceremonies, however, none of what he said came off as scripted or rehearsed.
He handled all the paperwork promptly, and even paid for a pair of certified copies of the license.

DALE is the best Officiant! My wedding was perfect because of him. Dale worked very closely with my husband and I to create the best ceremony and helped us write one to best reflect us as a couple. We did not want a cookie cutter ceremony, but one that is unique and represents our personalities. My husband and I decided to write our own Vows and Dale even met with us on multiple occasions to listen and give his opinion. If anyone in the PNW is looking for an amazing Officiant, DALE is the one. Dale has the biggest heart and made my day so special. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

Amazing officiant, very flexible with what type of ceremony you want and helps you build the one you want. Had a prior engagement before our wedding and still managed to show up when he was needed and do a quick run-through. We would recommend him to anyone.

Incredibly responsive, replying to my emails immediately, and always willing to hop on the phone with me to discuss our script, and how comfortable we felt with things. His website has his credentials and a great video of his work as well as what he services he provides - I believe these represent his personality and professionalism perfectly. He was so great to work with, punctual, and was.l clearly experience... this made my husband who was very nervous about speaking during the ceremony feel at ease. We highly recommend hiring Chaplain Dale to anyone in need of a great officiant!

Dale was an incredible officiant for our August 2016 wedding! He was flexible, accommodating, and positive throughout our whole planning experience. We met with him two times prior to our wedding and he drove quite far from his home for both our rehearsal and our wedding with no additional fee. Our guests ranged from practicing Catholics to non-religious folks and everyone loved his genuine nature and ability to lead our ceremony. He helped us with a great layout and suggestions and then seamlessly added in the readings and special requests we made. We highly recommend Chaplain Dale and are so grateful he was available for our day!

I had a great experience with Chaplain Dale as my officiant. Hopefully it was just a one-time thing, though -- unless we renew our vows. ;-) Dale was experienced. attentive and very flexible. After we interviewed Dale, my wife and I felt great. While we shared our story and shared a hot beverage, we got to see his humorous side as well as his serious. He asked all the right questions; he became invested in our journey. By the end we felt that if we didn't hire him, we'd at least need to invite him to join us on our special day.

Dale was great, he is clearly a pro and was a calming presence, bringing us some humor as we were getting nervous for our big day. His ceremony booklet made specializing our ceremony for us easier.

He was also super flexible, he was able to make our rehearsal on a friday morning (for a saturday night event) despite having another event that night.

Dale was awesome!! We met once before the wedding & communicated via Email to make sure our vows and ceremony were what we wanted. He was always quick to respond, and seemed genuinely happy for us and really wanted to make our day special! He took care of the certificate after the ceremony and when we got back from our honeymoon we had 2 copies of our marriage license in the mail waiting. One less thing for us to do. Chaplain Dale was a blessing for our wedding on 6/19/16. He understood our faith and was completely flexible with our ceremony - open to us piecing together unique vows, having a Unity Candle ceremony, having our fathers in the ceremony sharing a prayer and passage, and suggesting readings that fit us as a couple and celebrated our love. Chaplain Dale was great! We originally had a family friend picked out for our officiant, however with that not working out, he was very prompt to respond to use and set up a meet. During the process of wedding planning, i was actually pregnant and had slept through our first meet because of being so ill, he was completely forgiving and quick to set another meet up with us. He always responded to my emails/ text messages and made it very clear that we could basically have anything within reason at our ceremony. When it came time to have the rehearsal we would have been completely lost without him, he basically helped explain how everything normally would have went and ran the entire evening. He was so personable with my family and friends, come the day of things went just as smoothly as i thought. We couldn't have asked for more help from him.

Dale exceeded all my expectations. Dale Amundsen was terrific! We are incredibly blessed to have him perform our ceremony. I (Mrs Kristen Wilson) called several people that I found on the snohomish wedding guild and I was doing this like 2 months before our wedding!! All of the people I talked with either were booked or just didn't fit with what Tim and I were looking for. Except for Dale, he's an amazing pastor and great talk to. I could of not asked for a better officiant! I choose Chaplin Dale because he was ranked #1 on King 5 News. Dale is the best. He is a professional; he does what he says he will do and communicates very well. He gave us a booklet of some different vow options as well as additional readings, etc. that could be used for the ceremony. This was very helpful for us and actually pretty fun to go through together and make decision.We were very happy with Dale and I definitely recommend him!

Our ceremony was the "Git 'er done" package. Short and simple is what we requested and Chaplain Dale delivered. His reading of our script was animated and light hearted and he got several chuckles out of my family. He even made up for our forgetting to print out our script in the moment...so he read it off his phone. We were really happy with his part in our special day.

Dale was completely flexible and supportive of letting us do our wedding our way - we wrote not just our own vows but the whole of the ceremony and he performed it wonderfully. (Not that you HAVE to write it yourself, but we're both writers and were very picky about what we wanted said.)

Dale is an amazing chaplin. We had an impromtu wedding on a Monday evening. We only really planned it a couple of weeks ago. We wanted to have a simple ceremony with some close family and friends. We knew at the very first meeting this was the person we wanted to conduct our wedding. Dale was wonderful to work with and really got the feel of who we are and what type of weeding we wanted. We are a couple who got married on our 15 year anniversary of being together so our vows were different then a young couple just starting out and Dale had great ideas to help us in the process.

The day of the wedding we had planned to do a quick run through with Dale before the ceremony but due to guest arriving early and me the bride running a little behind this did not happen. Dale made us feel at easy and said no worries it will be fine and he was right as all the preparation he does with ceremony booklet paid off.

The ceremony could not have been more perfect and Dale was exactly what we were looking for. People came up after and asked where did we find him and was he someone we knew as the way he spoke the words and made people laugh and sigh it truly represented us.

I was very happy with the service for my mother. I must admit I was a little apprehensive not knowing Dale and Dale not knowing my mother. But he did a very nice job for our family,. I found Chaplain Dale on the internet as I was looking for a last-minute Chaplain for our wedding in 4 days. Chaplain Dale was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. He was very accomodating for our ceremony. He really listened to what we were looking for and did almost all of the work for us. This is what we needed as we planned our wedding and ceremony very quickly. Chaplin Dale officated our wedding on Sat.July 20, 2013. It was a beautiful wedding. Chaplin Dale did a wonderful job. He was so helpful with writing our vows and helping us along the way. If we had any questions or concerns he was there to answer them.

Dale was extremely professional and a complete joy to work with. He walked us through the entire event without a hitch. His personality kept everything upbeat and stress free. We would highly recommend Dale to anyone!

I called Dale on Monday, and he was in my house at 6PM sharp the following Thursday to celebrate the wedding. Not only Dale tried to help me find a photographer in such a short notice, but he was also very professional and friendly at the same time. He made all of us feel like he is part of our family. in fact, he is now and this forever...Would I recommend Dale for any wedding? Of course.

Dale was very professional and helpfull for our wedding. He was able to accomodate the short notice we gave him and listened to what we requested for our vows.

Pastor Dale performed our ceremony exactly as we had wanted. All in attendance complimented my new wife and I on how special the event was and how much they enjoyed Dale's officiating. We feel like we've just met a new friend!

I'm so glad we used Chaplain Dale for our ceremony. You can just tell he's an all around good guy, and he's a good presence to have at your wedding. We just wanted something short and sweet and his ceremony was perfect. He even worked our location into our ceremony. He arrived on time, and also provided two witnesses for us. We are having a ceremony overseas for the family and didn't want to deal with the paperwork in a foreign country (but also didn't want to have a drab courthouse ceremony). Chaplain Dale was perfect, but I could also see him doing a great job on a formal ceremony in front of the family. I just had an all around good feeling from the whole thing, and I would recommend him to anyone who is thinking of getting married in a creative place instead of the court house (we were at the Olympic Sculpture Park). His pricing is also very reasonable and he even took care of filing the certificate for us. All of this and on short notice too!

Chaplain Dale was absolutely outstanding, so professional, kind and personable...my husband and I absolutely adore him! I highly recommend Chaplain Dale! He was a great asset to the ceremony and made if fun, lively, and entertaining. With all the stress a wedding can come with, Chaplain Dale made me feel at ease, and I knew that was one less thing I had to worry about. Even looking back at the video of our ceremony both my husand and I are extremely happy with our choice!
