We were lucky enough to come across and reserve Chapel Dulcinea for our February 2020 wedding. Their website has every single piece of information needed to plan your wedding with no surprises (You need to spend the time to read!!). The reservation process was seamless and any questions I emailed or called the staff with were promptly answered. They also have a robust list of service providers which comes in extremely handy when you are not from the area as we were. We chose Peary Photography & ATX Elopements for our special day and all expectations were exceeded. Our wedding was perfect for us and it all started with choosing Chapel Dulcinea as our venue. -

This chapel is absolutely gorgeous, the picture & views don’t do it justice. The Spanish-style architecture is so picturesque, my family & friends back home mistakenly thought my elopement was somewhere in Europe.
I originally envisioned my venue to be somewhere mountainside in Colorado, but this chapel embodies the theme as well. It’s hillside, a long walk down the aisle in gravel, (fyi especially in uncomfortable heels) but the scenery makes it so worth it.
You can easily see why it’s such a popular destination for a wedding venue. Every time I think back & ask myself “what if” I went with this venue instead, I’m reminded how breathtaking the whole property is.
Even though the actual chapel is super small, it’s so inviting & intimate. It evokes a warmth about it; it’s exactly the kind of romantic simplicity I was striving to achieve. From the dressing rooms, to infinite nature photo opportunities - the tradition of ringing the bell as soon as you say I-do, this venue is beyond your expectations. -

My wife and I reserved this venue sight-unseen and were blown away by how beautiful it was on our wedding day. The nature surrounding the chapel was breath-taking and the chapel itself was timeless and clean, which is impressive given that it is an open-air structure. The staff were professional and kind, and everything was set up before we arrived- we rented chairs and a table for the reception. The cherry on top was the free live stream for all the family who couldn't make it! We highly recommend Chapel Dulcinea and are so glad we chose this venue. -

Perfect for a small ceremony!
Got married here a month ago and it was the best experience! The staff was great and made the whole process super easy. We hired Kim as our officiant and had Arnold the yellow case guitarist play live music. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a small ceremony. -

We got married at Chapel Dulcinea with the support and guidance of the company, Elope in Austin. I rented chairs for quests outside of the chapel to accommodate 37 people. The chapel is beautiful, and quiet, and has quaint guest rooms for the bride and groom. I found this chapel online (I am from across the country) and it was more beautiful in real life than the pictures! -

This is a DYI Chapel but you can hire affordable vendors to help. They offer all the recommendations you need. I just wish we had a little more time in the bridal suit to prepare but their business model makes sense. We loved absolutely everything about our wedding day! -

We were married at Chapel Dulcinea last month. It is such a beautiful location and we could not be happier with our decision to have our small ceremony there, even though the weather was not as kind (it was mid 50s). Lol
On top of the location being breathtakingly gorgeous, they have a live stream! We kept our wedding very small with immediate family only...making a total of less than 20 people including us. Having the live stream was a nice way to also share with our friends while keeping the in-person ceremony intimate. -

We had visited this venue a few months before our wedding and fell in love with the chapel. We just HAD to book it for our wedding. Well, we got married in October and it was absolutely stunning, beautiful, breathtaking, all of the above!!
We had our family fly in from Ohio (12 guests total) and this was the perfect size for our micro wedding. They all loved the venue and had nothing but good things to say!
We 1000% would recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a smaller wedding. Mainly for the beauty of the chapel and views, but also you can't beat the price! -

Best Experience
We booked this without visiting it until the day of our wedding. It was so perfect. The lady in the office was so sweet. I don’t remember her name, but we paid for the lamps the same day (because I forgot and couldn’t do it online). She was so kind about everything. There is no where you are going to find for this price and this view!! The gas lamps felt so romantic that we took time to have our first dance in private in the dark with just the gaslights as our guests drove to our reception. Swoon. -

We had a short civil ceremony with about 20 guests at Chapel Dulcinea and it was perfect! We were able to reserve our spot online which was a quick and easy process. There is no cost to book, but they do encourage donations. They have beautiful views for pictures and the live streaming option was great for people who couldn't make it in-person! -

Best Wedding Venue 💗
I had gone to this venue for my sister's friends wedding. When I saw it I just knew when I got married this would be the place! When I told my fiance at the time this is where I want to get married and went to visit we fell in love and absolutely knew this was the place for us!. It was easy to reserve our wedding date and the staff were so helpful in everything! Couldn't have asked for a better location! We loved Our Wedding Day! Every year for our anniversary we go and visit and find our Legacy brick on the path to remind us how far we've come! LOVE CHAPEL DULCINEA!!!💗💗💗💗 -

Dreamy Wedding
I sing the chapels praises to anyone who will listen! By far the most amazing and romantic location for a wedding. Doesn’t hurt that it’s FREE! We wanted a small intimate wedding and that’s exactly what we got. No muss and fuss just the most romantic intimate occasion. Would suggest it for anyone who’s not high maintenance about their wedding but still wants something gorgeous! -

I cannot recommend Chapel Dulcinea highly enough! What a beautiful venue, and it is free to use the chapel for your ceremony. We also booked the Veranda room which we would recommend if you want to have a reception on site. Our day was perfect! Everyone commented on how beautiful our venue was and that it truly is a hidden gem in Texas Hill Country. One of the top venues in the country even. We didn't need to provide decorations because the space has so much natural beauty between the Tuscan architecture and hill country views. We would recommend it to any couple on a budget looking to have a smaller wedding. We would recommend under 50 people for the space to keep it intimate! -

Get married at Chapel Dulcinea! Once we kept having to change venues due to covid, we came across Chapel Dulcinea and it sounded too good to be true. Our wedding was 1/23/21 and it truly was stress free. My florist had 30 minutes to set up and we had an hour for the ceremony and pictures which was plenty. Our guest list became much smaller but we were all able to gather. It was raining, but since this was covered it turned out perfectly! Oh, and definitely do the gas lanterns! We originally planned to marry at the chapel on 4/4/20. That turned out to be right at the height of shut downs,etc. They were extremely gracious and let us reschedule for October. It turned out beautifully and we were able to have the wedding live streamed so family as far as Tokyo, Japan and Boquete, Panama could join. We cannot recommend this venue more! This is the spot for an intimate ceremony. We didn't even need to decorate it is so beautiful all on it's own.Chapel Dulcinea's reply:

Our wedding was the last wedding of the day and the day was filled with temperamental weather, tornados and flooding. The staff was helpful and stayed later than they would normally stay to make sure we had a wedding of our dreams. Amazing Space
We were married at Chapel Dulcinea at sunrise on 12/31/17. We chose Chapel Dulcinea after visiting several wedding venues in Austin. We are from Philadelphia. Chapel Dulcinea made sure everything we needed to know was available to us. Not only is it a FREE wedding chapel, they offer you an engraved brick to be laid in the pathway leading to the chapel (we have ours there). I can't wait to go back for a visit - make sure you check out their gift shop and livestream! -

This is the most beautiful and magical venue for your wedding! A friend sent me the website for the chapel and I totally fell in love and decided in that moment that I was sold! We toured the facility in person shortly after and realized it was even more beautiful in person. We made our reservations that night. -

Chapel Dulcinea is the beautiful outdoors paired with magic. My hubs and I were married here on the 31st of September. We had a small ceremony with family and lose friends totaling about 50 people. The grounds are immaculately kept and the artwork peppering the grounds take your breath away. The beautiful door and bell that is at the chapel is a wonderful addition. Sensational Venue
We are very blessed that we found this venue. We live in northern Missouri and having a southern wedding was our top choice. When we found this chapel, our jaws dropped. It is stunning and was absolutely perfect for us. The staff there are so humble and very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. Chapel Dulcinea was the perfect setting for our intimate wedding! The chapel and grounds are well maintained and the Texas hillside made the perfect backdrop for our morning ceremony. We booked the chapel about 6 weeks ahead of our wedding date with no need for schedule changes. The staff was great about sending reminders, necessary forms and e-mailing answers to any question that I had. The option to have the gas lights lit during our ceremony for a small fee of $25 was wonderful! We took that as an opportunity to honor my husband's late mom and the staff even made a point to have our intentions posted on a sign on the walking path to the chapel. The small gesture meant a lot to my husband and his sister.
Overall, all who attended our wedding were impressed by the simple elegance of Chapel Dulcinea. I cannot wait for us to reach a milestone anniversary to renew our vows at Chapel Dulcinea! -

Beautiful venue
My wife and I got married here 12/26/2018. The venue is gorgeous. Our photos came out perfectly. It’s a smaller chapel so perfect for an intimate ceremony. We visited the venue a total of three times, once to initially see it, once to time our walking/music, and once to get married. The staff was very friendly with us every time. I’d highly recommend Chapel Dulcinea to any couple, whether it be same sex (like us) or not, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, anything really. It’s amazing.Chapel Dulcinea's reply:
