Chadwick was an amazing Officiant. He was professional, kind, and reduced my stress on my big day. Unfortunately, he was my only vendor that I did not have an issue with. I have not a single criticism or complaint about him. When he arrived he came to find me to confirm he details before the ceremony, the only vendor to do so. He read my ceremony script the exact way I wrote it. My ceremony could not have gone better. I cannot thank Michael enough for the amazing job he did. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to get married. Truly a top tier officiant that clearly loves what he does. -

Michael was the perfect officiant for our wedding ceremony! He made this entire process so smooth and easy for us, even from our first phone call months prior to the big day. Michael is incredibly kind and supportive, but what we loved most was his ability to share wedding knowledge and expertise with us as we navigated this journey. From start to finish, Michael answered all of our questions and made sure understood our vision. The ceremony was absolutely perfect, and exactly what we wanted. We attribute all of that to Michael! Throughout life, we experience several life-changing events, but once you find your person, your wedding day is quite possibly one of the most memorable and important ones. Even if the celebration is small and intimate, we still try our best to make it as perfect as it can be and, in my opinion, the person you choose to officiate that marriage is, by far, one of the most essential details.
I got married to my best friend just a few days ago, and I am leaving this review because I am beyond grateful to have had the chance to meet Michael and have him officiate our ceremony. My husband and I aren't the most typical; we are both nerds, both introverts, and both neurodivergent. We aimed for our wedding to represent us in every possible way, and to be totally honest, before we met Michael, we struggled to find an officiant who understood us and gave us the feeling we were in good hands. Michael not only took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple, but he also went above and beyond to tailor his speech to perfection. He found the exact words to make us feel seen, amused, understood, and absolutely happy. He even researched the videogame I met my husband in and used a few of the beautiful phrases our favorite characters say.
As if that weren’t impressive enough, he was the very first person to arrive at the ceremony, looking sharp in his suit, ready for anything that came our way. Did you forget a ring box? No worries, he had one. Would your makeup get ruined with all the tears? Fear not. He had Q-tips and tissues in every pocket. For those who get the reference, his suit was like Mary Poppins bag. He also made sure we were calm, relaxed, and happy before stepping outside the bridal room and helped us with all introductions and announcements. Throughout the entire event, and even before that, communication was smooth, prompt, and transparent. I could keep going about how impressed and grateful we are to have hired him, but I believe this review says we absolutely recommend him clearly enough. -

The best wedding story ever told!
Michael, you are wonderful! We enjoyed every bit of our wedding day and a lot of that had to do with having you as our photographer. Arriving early to multiple locations the day of…the relief I felt when I saw you pull up I knew we were going to have a fantastic day. You are incredibly organized, thoughtful, calm and fun!! When our hand fasting cord got left behind, you went running mid ceremony to find it even tho you didn’t have to..only taking maybe 2 min to find it amongst all the craziness of wedding decor, boxes, bridesmaids bags and who only knows what else!!…then running it out to our outdoor ceremony (those longs legs help!) I believe you knew where more things were than any of us did the day of!! My husband, so grateful for your humor and professionalism was beyond thankful when you would fix his boutonnière and in the moment tell him things to help keep everything going smoothly…like not to hug people wearing makeup the way he was bc he’s so tall too, that they were smearing all over his suit but you pulled out a shout wipe, cleaned him up and kept it moving. Communication from our first phone call all the way through after the wedding was impeccable. We had a blast doing all of our photos, you keep it light and fun so everyone can relax and you can get the shots we wanted, to have our wedding day story told so beautifully. Really we couldn’t be happier and more amazed by you! Thank you for so much and for helping to give us a FANTASTIC day. Would love to work with you again, even hang out with you as friends, you felt like family 💙 -

Michael Chadwick was the perfect choice as the officiant for our Harry Potter-themed ceremony. We wanted the ceremony to be short yet elegant, with a few Harry Potter quotes, and Michael delivered. He provided a mock-up of the ceremony that included our vows (which we didn’t write ourselves) and even added some jokes to keep things light. Michael was a joy to interact with, both for us and our family and guests. He also guided us through the process of filing the marriage license. We would 100% recommend him! -

My ceremony was my favorite part of my entire wedding day and it is all thanks to Michael Chadwick! I wish that I had a reason to use him again because he was so charismatic, caring, and fun to talk to and he is great at what he does. I will ABSOLUTELY be recommending him to anyone I can. My ceremony in my husband and my eyes could not have been anymore perfect. When he emailed us the ceremony script he wrote we didn’t change a thing, he nailed it the first time around. We sent him bullet points of tv shows we liked, movies we liked, details about our relationship and I was amazed at how beautifully he incorporated everything. He really got to know us as a couple and our ceremony was a perfect representation of us and our love. Thank you Michael for making our wedding day so special and truly a day I will never forget. 10/10 would recommend!!!
I also want to note that he was so good that when my mother passed from Alzheimer’s a few months after my wedding I had emailed Michael because my family loved him at my ceremony as much as we did and we thought he would be the perfect person to do a eulogy at my moms funeral, he himself was going to be out of town for a funeral the same week (I hope he doesn’t mind me saying this) but that was the only reason he couldn’t make it to do it but he called me which was so sweet, he owed me nothing and he did not have to do this but he said that if we had my moms funeral when he got back he would do the eulogy even though that’s not something he’s done before, he truly cares! He was so sweet on the phone with me, when I spoke to him on the phone we didn’t have the date of my moms funeral planned and we did end up scheduling while he was away but he followed up with me, he shared his condolences and at one of the roughest and best times of my life - my moms passing and my marriage he was there for me. I will never forget Michael and I encourage you to choose him, you will not regret it -

There were plenty of things to stress out about over rainy weather for our garden wedding, but Michael was not one of them. He was amazing. From the beginning, Michael was kind, responsive, and communicative. He was clearly very experienced with weddings because he also offered some excellent advice about planning as well. He sent over the initial draft and nailed it on the first try. We didn't change a thing! He incorporated our cultural traditions seamlessly and even put a few LOTR references at our request.
Due to scheduling issues, we didn't do a rehearsal, but Michael didn't need one! During our actual ceremony, he was insightful, funny, and eloquent. We had so many people coming up to us saying how beautiful our ceremony was. Thank you Michael for make it easy for us! We would recommend Michael to anyone looking for an officiant! -

Wow! Michael was incredible to work with from the start to finish and truly contributed to the success of our wedding. He is responsive, easy to talk to, and quickly got us both to feel more comfortable being photographed. Throughout the wedding process, he acted as more than a photographer, getting to personally know family and those in our wedding party, and stepping in for everything from safety pins to helping us with the marriage license. The Best Vendor From Our Wedding
If this is the only sentence you read of this review, just know that if you book Michael Chadwick to be your wedding photographer, it’ll be the best decision you could make regarding your special day (or any other event you’re hoping to hire him for). We first met Michael two years ago, when he helped my now husband plan the perfect proposal at Grounds for Sculpture. Josh and Michael went to the location a few days beforehand to scope out the layout and on the day of, in extreme heat, he literally hid in the bushes to capture the moment. We knew that very day we wanted him to be our wedding photographer. Michael is not only extremely talented, but his compassion, knowledge and kindness, separate him from any other vendor we have ever worked with. Michael and Christopher make an incredible team and were an absolute pleasure to work with the day-of. Michael also did a great job communicating with us leading up to the wedding and on the day of literally had everything we could have ever needed (safety pins, stain stick, etc.). He even helped my bridesmaids bustle my dress. Michael truly made our wedding go as smooth as possible, and we cannot begin to thank him enough as he will forever be a part of our special day.

When you book Michael as the photographer for your wedding, he's not just your photographer- he becomes family for the day. And that's exactly what you want! He was amazing! To be honest, I really didn't give him a lot of information to work with beforehand because I didn't know what kind of photos I would want. But of course he worked his magic and I can tell just from the small preview that we received, we are going to be thrilled. My guests are still talking about how awesome him and Chris were throughout the night. They were always there to get the perfect photo. We can't wait to see the rest of the pictures! The moment we met Michael we knew, from his professionalism to his height, he would be able to capture our day. It was very comforting knowing that Michael was available not only for photography question but for all things that come with planning a wedding, its not his first rodeo. Day of the wedding Michael was ready for anything, he even had a trusty survival kit attached to his belt. He made sure we got every photo request we had and was ready for the unexpected, like our first dance. Michael was a terrific, joyful photographer who took excellent care of us throughout our entire engagement, wedding day and beyond. He was the photographer for my sister's wedding at the Bradford and he was the first vendor we booked for our wedding at the Merion. He was very organized, communicative and fun to work with before the wedding. He asked a lot of questions beforehand and really listened to what we wanted. On the big day, he helped us feel relaxed and captured our real emotions during all the big and small moments. His photos do an amazing job of showing the joy and celebration of the occasion. It was a pleasure getting to know him and we plan to stay in touch. We would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a great photographer for their wedding! If we could give him extra stars, we would!! -
Essie Sent on 07/26/2018If you want to avoid all major crisis’s on your wedding day, Michael Chadwick is your guy. He has a solution for everything and a calm demeanor which is a necessity when situations get hectic. He carries around a bag filled with everything: if you get a blister, if your dress rips, if you need tissues, if you get a headache, and so on, he has a solution for everything. He also has an infectious personality which makes you feel so comfortable in front of his camera and leaves you wanting to become life long friends with him when your wedding is over. He cares so much about capturing your raw emotion and takes the time to get to know everyone in your bridal party. His work is amazing, his turn around time is quick, and I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. My husband and I were so glad we chose him to capture the most important day of our lives.

He not only captured our special day, but also brought humor, fun, and calmness (especially for me, the bride, when I needed it most) throughout the whole day! Our entire family and bridal party made several comments as well on how wonderful and fun Michael (and Sarah) were. Not only did he make it a point to take amazing photographs, but he was there for just about anything that came up during the day. For example, my grandma had trouble pinning her flower to her dress, so Michael pulled out some double sided tape from his bag and saved her day! In addition to the actual wedding day, Michael sent many check in emails in the months prior to the wedding day to see if we needed any help or advice. He didn't just take great photos for us, but he truly played an integral role in our wedding planning adventure from the very beginning. We actually wish Michael could have been one of our guests because he is so much fun to interact with :) However, his photos are amazing and we honestly can't recommend Michael enough!!

Michael was attentive to us and really listened to what we wanted to get out of our day through the photos. It definitely helped that he was a Disney nerd like us! He even managed to hide a few hidden Mickeys in our final photos! He fit in with everyone and move seamlessly through the day without being in the way or awkward, he was actually a pleasure to have with us. He spend several hours with me while I was getting ready and saw there was tension between me and my family, he quietly walked me away to take some solo photos to remove me from the situation. He knew what I needed before I did and that is pretty amazing for a photographer. I cannot recommend him and his services enough. He is a great friend, and an incredible photographer! -

He impressed us immediately the day we met him and we left without hesitation on whether he would be fit for us. He is not just consider our photographer, but our friend.
Michael will go above and beyond and make sure no detail is missed. He is funny, genuine, caring, and attentive. His quick responses to emails goes a long way, he is always there for you. His humor lightens the mood of any situation and he goes out of his way to know you on a personal level and even know your family on the wedding day.
His photographs that he captures are beautiful. We are still in love with our photos no matter how many times we go back and review them. We also had the pleasure of working with Kat as our second photographer that Michael hired and she was fantastic as well. Great pair.
If you want a talented photographer who is down to earth and takes gorgeous photographs then you need Michael.
I will continue to use Michael as our photographer going forward in the future for whatever occasion I need.

David Sent on 09/30/2014This is a review from the perspective of a groom, if that really matters. I know that I could not have been happier with our choice to use Michael Chadwick as our photographer for our wedding. He was the first vendor we signed with over a year before our actual wedding and we never felt out of touch with him during all of that time. It was very important to both of us that we chose someone that could fit in with our friends and families since it would be a very long day during the wedding.
He did an amazing job on our engagement session; he made it feel like less of a photo shoot and more like a group of friends spending a day together. He was able to get us edited copies of the pictures quickly so that we could use them for our save the date cards and for the website we setup.
The day of the wedding, he spent all day with my wife and instantly fit in with my family and all of the bridal party while she got ready. Our second photographer, Sheldon, spent some time with me and my groomsmen before the wedding and was not only taking pictures but helped us fold pocket squares and look our best.
The day of the wedding was unusually hot and humid which made for less than perfect conditions when taking pictures outside. Michael was able to get us through it while getting some great shots and letting us have a lot of fun the whole time. We had to make some significant changes right before the ceremony due to the weather which he was able to help us get through. We were able to take some ceremony shots outside before the real ceremony inside which was really great. I was amazed at how flexible he was when it came to getting the shots he wanted and making sure that we were happy with everything.
Our guests are still talking about how great our photographer was and I cannot imagine having a better person shoot our wedding and help us get through a very busy day.
