Incredible Officiant!
Lisa is absolutely wonderful! She spent a lot of time with us before our wedding to think through and remember everything about our relationship and the love we share. She spent time to get to know us personally and wrote a script for our ceremony that was so special to our relationship and life together. Lisa has clearly spent many hours curating materials that guide couples through the different aspects of building on their strong bond and considering all of the little pieces of the relationship that shine in a wedding ceremony, and set the stage to keep the fire ignited in the years to come. Lisa had the perfect script, but also was ready to roll with the many distractions that came with our wedding. The biggest one being able to stay focused while also highlighting all the adorable moments where our dogs were stealing the show (which was exactly what we told her we wanted!) 10/10 would recommend Lisa to anyone! So many of our guests asked us how we found the perfect officiant and if she would be willing to fly across the country for their own weddings! -

Working with Lisa was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Aerial and I felt drawn to Lisa from her website and that energy was validated over and over in our months of working together. Lisa was such a great advocate and guide during the pre-wedding process, taking the time to invest in getting to know us and our love story, and giving us the exercises to prepare and make meaning out of our ceremony and the entire wedding prep experience. The most common comment throughout the wedding night was - "that was the best ceremony I've ever seen," which is more validation to the end result, in addition to the wonderful prep experience. Amazing Officiant!
Lisa is absolutely wonderful. We had her officiate our wedding, as we wanted all of our friends to be present in the moment. We could not recommend her enough. Working with Lisa is easily one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. We loved working with her. She is incredibly thoughtful and organized, and we felt like she really got to know us. I am struggling for words to express how grateful I am for your guidance and witness and ministering during this transition. Evan and I have been talking a lot about how glad we are we worked with you and wrote our own vows, something I'm not sure we would have done otherwise. And our actual ceremony was so much more than we imagined it would be. Your reverence and joy are contagious. We were able to be ourselves, strong emotions and all ;)
We loved everything about your vow adventure kit and how you guided us through the process of ceremony-creation. The talks we had, prompted by your questions and the vow-writing process, brought us closer as a couple in the weeks before our wedding. I also loved that you focused on deciding on shared commitments. We got to our wedding day knowing exactly what we were promising one another, and they were mutual promises. It just feels like a powerful foundation for our marriage. It's what I was longing for but didn't know exactly how to bring it about for us.
And as for the ceremony itself, I felt so guided and supported, without having to worry about all of the details. I don't know if I shared with you that one of the reasons I chose to work with you was because when I read through your website and materials, I got chills and tears and I just felt an authenticity radiating from you. Working with you was the best experience I could have imagined! While doing research and I mean a ton of research throughout Colorado and Florida your website left the biggest impression on me and I just kept coming back. Then when we had our first call i knew for sure you would be the one to do our ceremony! You felt like a friend immediately and it was easy to tell you about our journey. You took the time to get to know us and personalize our whole ceremony and experience was incredible! In such a short time you helped walk us through the whole process to make everything up to ceremony day seamlessly simple. And ceremony day was beyond words! Lisa made our wedding day so effortless and magical. We flew in from out of state, and meeting Lisa in-person for the first time was like reuniting with an old friend. She is so warm, friendly, and kind - she is the sort of person you feel instantly at ease with.
Her ceremony-building activities are fun and easy to follow. Lisa is so thorough and organized, and she provides a ton of resources to help you write your vows and customize your ceremony in a way that’s thoughtful, simple, and fun. She clearly puts a lot of care and consideration into her ceremonies, and took the time to tailor-fit everything to us so it felt even more special and authentic than we dreamed of.
Though I don’t expect to need another wedding officiant myself, I would choose Lisa again 100 times over. She is incredible at what she does, she is dedicated to her couples, and she is a bright soul that added so much joy to our wedding day. I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Book her ASAP - she’s the absolute gold standard. -

Lisa is amazing!!
Lisa has been absolutely magical right from the start - she has a wonderful way of being warm and kind, while still remaining professional. She took time to really get to know us as a couple, and truly cares, checking in regularly even after our wedding to congratulate us on anniversaries and give us lovely little "love adventure" activities.
The preparation process she uses to create ceremonies is beyond amazing, she's so incredibly detail-oriented and asks couples to really dig deep into the core of their connection to find what's most important to them in their marriage. I seriously wonder if she's ever had couples decide NOT to get married after asking themselves some of these tough relationship questions! LOL But for those of us who have a genuine connection, it only deepens the bond and allows us to articulate our feelings. And in the process, she hones in on exactly what we need to create the perfect wedding ceremony.
The ceremony itself was simply magic. Lisa couldn't have been more at ease, which put us at ease, and her upbeat yet centered energy with the bridal party and audience made sure her delivery was outstanding. The ceremony she created for us was very non-traditional and earth-based, but she did it in a way that even the devout Catholics in our family weren't phased, because the entire thing was just beautiful and full of genuine love. We had so many people come up after Lisa left to tell us how much they enjoyed her!
Lisa made the whole process of preparing for our wedding, and the big day itself so special... I wish we could get married again! We may very well have her come do some other ceremonies with us in the future. :) -

We hired Lisa as our officiant for our June wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens, but you have her for so much more than just your ceremony! Her process of getting to know you as well as her tips, exercises and advice for a harmonious marriage are absolutely amazing and a welcome part of the months leading up to our big day.
On the wedding day itself, Lisa knocked the ceremony out of the park and every.single.person in attendance thought that she was a close friend that we had known for many years! A quick side note, Lisa is also a fabulous singer!
There were a handful of snafus/issues with the sound system and AV techs at the gardens, but Lisa kept the whole thing moving without a hitch and with plenty of humor. :)
We cannot thank Lisa enough for her expertise, warmth, and passion for what she does! The ceremony was amazing and everything we hoped it would be. -

We will forever be grateful to Lisa for helping us create the most beautiful ceremony for our wedding. She has such a unique pre-wedding prep process, like sending us on "Vow Adventure Dates", sending check in emails each month with mini-date night ideas, and meeting multiple times to really get to know us - by the time the actual wedding rolled around, we felt like she had become more like a trusted friend! Her energy is so calming and she really went above and beyond to ensure we felt supported throughout the planning process. It's so easy to get wrapped up in the "party" aspect of the wedding, but Lisa helped us feel grounded and excited about the ceremony and the "getting married" part (which is the whole reason to have a wedding in the first place!) For the couples out there who aren't exactly religious, but still seek a meaningful, intentional, personalized ceremony, then Lisa is the perfect person to work with. Hand-crafted and authentic!
We discovered Lisa by way of referral when we were seeking a wedding officiant who was off-the-beaten-path in a variety of ways; we needed someone stylistically, creatively, and spiritually open to our story and ideals. We were immediately taken by the tales and images on her website—these couples each seemed to have carved out a unique path, and it was clear that she had helped them to do so!
Beyond the immense amount of time that Lisa devoted to getting to know us—both as individuals and as a couple—over early skype sessions (sometimes several hours!), we were impressed by the immaculate organization and professionalism we encountered in her materials. With well-crafted questionnaires and packets that made sharing our lives and love with her feel natural and easy, Lisa slowly gathered the facts along with the less tangible, but more important information about what makes up the texture of our relationship and worldview, and how this might best be embodied in our ceremony.
When she finally sent us a draft of our ceremony script—on which she had clearly expended a great deal of time and creative energy—we were so touched by the way it incorporated so many of the subtle details of our meeting, our humor, our love, and the rituals that we had wanted to bring into our wedding. When Chris and I identified some changes we’d like made in order to shift the focus of our story—changes which turned out to be more extensive than we thought, in the end—Lisa met our requests with perfect equanimity and an absolute willingness to revise and shape the project until it felt truly authentic for us.
When our wedding day came, along with pouring rain and 40 degree weather for our outdoor, summer solstice ceremony, Lisa calmly worked with the incredibly capable folks at our venue to ensure a smooth decision making process regarding any last minute location changes that left the bride free to get ready and simply hope for the best. As it turned out, the clouds miraculously parted for exactly two hours that afternoon: just long enough to seat our friends and family, squeeze in all the photos, and enjoy our beautiful, mountain meadow ceremony complete with a guest-made circle of flowers, a guitarist, readings, our own vows (thanks to Lisa’s Vow Kit!), and a “hot toddy” symbolic tea ceremony, capped off with a celebratory bourbon cordial shared by all our guests.
Within a few minutes of entering our reception a little while later (after our post-ceremony meeting with Lisa—a wonderful, centering touchstone, much like the pre-ceremony meditation she conducted privately for the two of us), we were immediately approached by friends and family who were bursting to tell us that it was absolutely the most beautiful ceremony they had ever attended—so unusual, so personal, so sincere—and that there had not been a dry eye in the house, even among our most stoic of guests.
Perhaps the most memorable part of the experience for me—the bride—specifically was the fact that among the many, many organizational tasks and communications, I recall feeling extremely eager and excited to reach the one part of our wedding that I was not even the slightest bit nervous about: our ceremony. When the craziness died down and I finally reached the top of the aisle and saw the smiling faces of our friends and family, Lisa calmly waiting in the circle of flowers, and Chris beaming in front of the meadow, I was filled with an infinitely pure sort of joy, buoyed by my complete confidence in everything that was about to unfold: our story, our vows, our ritual, and the rest of our lives. We could not have created a container more perfect for joining our hearts that the one Lisa helped us to build. -

Lisa was everything we could have asked for as the officiant of our wedding, and we couldn't recommend her more highly!
We knew that Lisa was special in our very first conversation with her, which organically transformed into the two of us as a couple brainstorming and visioning what we wanted in our ceremony, feeling so excited and aligned. Lisa showed a real gift for seeing and bringing out what she calls "the soul of the couple." She listened to us so deeply and so well throughout all our conversations, and it became so clear by the end that she really "got us" on a deep level. The result was a wedding ceremony and rite-of-passage process that felt guided by the best of our love and celebrated us so fully and authentically. When I first read the draft of Lisa's ceremony script, I literally wept with joy. I felt so seen, so heard, and so unbelievably excited to get to live through our wedding ceremony. On the day of the ceremony itself, we were surprised with some pretty cold and unpleasant weather, but Lisa helped us stay calm, grounded, and present. Her presence on that day helped us stay connected to our "soul," and that made all the difference. In the end, the ceremony was better than we could have ever asked for.
In addition to listening to us and representing us so well, we really appreciated and benefited from Lisa's wisdom. Her rite of passage framework and wedding prep exercises were so useful to us. They helped us put our pre-wedding experience into a big-picture perspective, understand and get to know each other on an even deeper level, and ultimately feel so fully prepared and ready to commit ourselves to each other in marriage. We wanted an officiant who could bring spiritual depth and wisdom about love and marriage to our ceremony, and Lisa did so with flying colors.
Finally, through this process, Lisa became a close friend. We are so excited to maintain a relationship with her, share many more laughs and smiles together, and continue to work with her as our "family minister!" -

We are so grateful that we found Lisa to officiate our small mountain wedding. An officiant ended up being the last vendor we needed to book because we really weren't sure how to go about choosing the right officiant. We aren't sure if it was luck or it was fate, but Lisa was the first officiant that we reached out to based on her reviews and I'm telling you to TRUST the reviews! Lisa not only customized our ceremony specifically for us, but she also continuously and consistently helped remind us to focus on what is most important about the wedding; our relationship. When I think back to the planning process, the moments that I enjoyed most were the times when we were following Lisa's suggestions for creating our ceremony and the pre-wedding activities that Lisa sends leading up to the ceremony date. My husband and I are so glad that we hired Lisa as our officiant. We loved how we were able to do video calls with her early in the planning process so that we could really get to know each other. Lisa was super organized and sent us this incredible little packet to not only help her construct our ceremony, but also so that we could bond with each other, write better vows, and be able to take a moment to enjoy and love each other amidst the chaos of wedding planning. Lisa is great about responding in a timely manner, being flexible about changes (we were still making tweaks up until the last minute), and is organized and prepared. Our rehearsal went off without a hitch, and so when it came to the actual ceremony, it was more perfect than we could have ever imagined. We even had guests come up to us afterwards and rave about how amazing our officiant/ceremony was! If you want a truly unforgettable experience, you won’t regret going with Lisa! -

Lisa was a life saver. When our first officiant became unavailable one month before our wedding, Lisa stepped up to the challenge and shepherded us through the entire process like a true professional. We appreciated the opportunity to get to know Lisa over Skype in the run-up to the big day. Lisa took the time to get to know us on a deep level by asking open ended questions and truly listening. Thanks to these Skype talks, we felt like we were in great hands despite never meeting in person. She planned activities and timelines for us to stay on track while remembering to enjoy the process. The end product was a thoughtful, well written, fully customised service that was met with rave reviews by our guests. Several of our guests went out of their way to say how much they enjoyed the ceremony. We cannot recommend Lisa enough, if her schedule is open, take advantage as she is worth every penny. -

Lisa is the best. She costs more than your regular officiant but guess what, you get more. Lisa explained to us how she over time has shifted her business to quality not quantity. In order to give that quality you might pay a little more but your not just another wedding. She makes a point to get to know you and your partner and all you've been through to get to where you are today marrying the love of your life. she wants a full picture of your lives. She painted such a vivid picture of our lives that guests thought she was a personal friend and by the end of it she actually did become a personal friend even though we hadn't known her prior to this.
She brings a warm energy and a calming presence. By the day of the service she has met with you so many times and gone over all aspects that you have no stresses or worries.
Also id like to note that we are an LGBT couple and we felt so comfortable with Lisa.

I feel like my testimonial is just like so many others here but for anyone out there that may be reading this and thinking "yea but it sounds too good to be true" like I might have at first, just hear me out. This is the real deal and I can say without a doubt that if anything, my review is understated as it's hard to truly express how great everything was. Besides, what more could you ask for than a wedding package that's actually as wonderful, easy, and memorable as it sounds?
When we started planning our elopement, we only vaguely knew what we were looking for. We did a really preliminary Google search for an elopement officiant and ended up finding Lisa's website. We read through the website together and realized that Lisa, her elopement packages, and how she works with couples to customize their day to make it truly personal were all exactly what we were looking for without knowing it. We sent her an email and crossed our fingers and toes that she'd be available on the day we had chosen. Choosing to work with Lisa for our day was one of the easiest choices we made by far and even if there was a chance to go back and change anything, we wouldn't.
From the first call we had with Lisa, through everything leading up to and during the ceremony itself, and even now after we've been married, we couldn't ask for a better experience! We felt like we really got to know Lisa and she us and it made our ceremony feel that much closer because it wasn't just some random person we were standing there with while reciting our vows, we were there with a friend. We couldn't believe just how perfect everything turned out and how easy it was. I'm honestly so excited to have Lisa as our family minister, keep in touch, and have her in our lives. She's the best!!

I’m so late in writing this review, but Lisa was the best officiant I could have had at my small wedding (or large one for that matter!) I found Lisa on the internet, at the time hubby and I wanted to elope, that soon changed and we decided on an intimate ceremony with about 25 guests. Lisa was extremely patient and worked with all the early and last minute changes we made including on the day of! I love that Lisa has all the documents prepared and creates a website, as a destination wedding, it was extremely helpful for us to have her guidance regarding location and order of the ceremony, etc. Lisa has such a refreshing, positive personality and that radiates during her ceremonies. My guests LOVED the way Lisa structured the ceremony. They loved the explanations and how she went in to detail explaining what each part of the ceremony meant. An absolute blessing!

Our family and friends were blown away at her capacity to truly see us and capture our individual journeys which lead us into each other's arms that day. Lisa was fantastic! She was so easy going and supportive. She was very accommodating, always cheerful, and a pleasure to work with. We are so happy with how the ceremony turned out. She comforted both of us before the ceremony and did her best to calm our nerves about public speaking and being on the spot. She even offered to cut and modify her script at the very last minute (minutes before the ceremony was to start) in order to shorten the ceremony. I suspect that she did the full ceremony anyway which is great because it turned out amazingly! Huge success! Thanks Lisa! -

Lisa made our ceremony so unique and meaningful. Everyone came up to us after the ceremony asking how long we had known her because she talked about us as if we had been long time friends. I can't recommend her enough for your big day. She took the time to ask questions about the big and little details about our relationships and made the most important moment of our day one of the most memorable for our guests. During the ceremony Lisa was so "present" and just an overall calming force. I can't imagine the day without her. We can't thank you enough, Lisa! -
Danielle Sent on 09/30/2018First things first, we feel so lucky and so honored to have had Lisa as our wedding officiant. To say that Lisa is AMAZING would be a major understatement.
When we started planning our wedding we knew that the ceremony itself was supposed to be a big deal, but we didn’t know how to make that happen. We researched so many different officiants and most of them had a fill-in-the-blank kind of style where they had maybe three our four ‘standard’ ceremony scripts. You give them your money, they plug your names in to their template. Icky.
Then we found Lisa. Lisa really took the time to get to know us and make a genuine connection. We had two or three long phone calls with her (which felt juts like talking to an old friend) and we filled out her questionnaire with the a few basic details. What we got back from her in the first draft of the ceremony script was beyond expectation - it was so much more than we felt like we had put in to it. It was 100% us. My husband and I read through the draft, we cried together, and then we thanked the google gods for Lisa.
The day of our wedding, so many people stopped us to tell us how much they loved Lisa. People kept asking, “Is she a family member?” and “How long have you all known each other?” My favorite was, “You are so lucky to have a professional speaker in your family!” Truly, I can’t think of any higher praise than that. Our nearest and dearest all thought Lisa was either a family member or close friend based on how well the ceremony fit our personalities and our relationship. We are so grateful to her for all of the hard work and love that she put in to our wedding. She is a beautiful speaker and a beautiful person. -

She was very flexible with our requests and made a fun, beautiful ceremony for our wedding. She helped prep us for what to expect and helped make us a little less nervous. She was super easy to work with and seemed to genuinely want to get to know us. We highly recommend using her for your big day!

She instantly made us feel comfortable with her warm and welcoming personality. During the planning process, Lisa provided us with great resources and was very responsive and open to anything we wanted to do or have said in our ceremony. The amazing qualities she possesses carried over to the ceremony beautifully. She kept our guests engaged and connected throughout (and helped produce a LOT of happy tears). So many friends and family told us how amazing they found her to be and some talked of wanting to hire her for their wedding! They thought we must have known her for years with how well she spoke of us.
I can confidently say that hiring Lisa was the best vendor decision we made for our wedding! -

She included all of the elements that made for a special and heart felt ceremony. We just love her and couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend her to any couple who wants a unique and meaningful ceremony...you won't find that cookie cutter it's all the same boring ceremony stuff with Lisa. Also, she gives you your own special site to review the ceremony she creates, which makes it easy to make any changes or suggestions. Lisa was such a joy to work with, and we look forward to working with her again for blessings (home, rings, baby, etc) in our future!
