Kat is Amazing!!!
Kat is an amazing officiant and a wonderful person to work with from start to finish. We wanted a secular ceremony and she respected that wish completely! After our first phone call with Kat, we completely trusted her to officiate our wedding. The process was seamless: she worked with us to build our ceremony from scratch and make sure it was exactly what we were looking for. She even took the time to meet us in person to go over every detail. She provided us with a plethora of various examples of other ceremonies she has done in the past which helped us immensely in deciding how we wanted our ceremony to look. We told her what we liked from the materials provided and she ended up drafting a beautiful custom ceremony tailored to us. Kat ran every word by us and was very receptive to any changes that we requested as well.
At the ceremony itself, Kat was absolutely amazing! She is a confident and warm speaker. Her tone, humor, and sincerity truly made the ceremony memorable. We had MANY guests tell us afterward how much they loved her. And the cherry on top: she took care of mailing our marriage license to the county so we didn’t have to worry!
Kat thank you so much for all of the work and care you have put into our wedding! We are extremely grateful.

Lovely and so personable!
Kat did a wonderful job officiating our wedding! She has so much charm and charisma, she works very closely with you to make sure you get exactly what you want! We had a few special requests like requesting that visitors be disconnected from their phones and Kat really made sure they got fulfilled! When planning things, she helped make sure we had everything covered and offered plenty of advice and thoughts from her experiences at other weddings, which was a huge help. Kat also gave us advice on how to have all the paperwork prepped in advance - which gave us one less thing to worry about of the wedding day!
Best of all, Kat was incredibly kind, funny, and brought a light and positive energy to our wedding which was exactly what we wanted. She's awesome!

We booked Kat as our officiant for our March 1, 2024 wedding in Key Largo. I can officially say that Kat is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. She took the time to learn about us as a couple, and it is evident that she cares deeply about her couples and invests a lot of time into every single one. Our ceremony was the most beautiful, genuine, and authentic thanks to her! She worked so well with our doggies too, and included such beautiful personal touches. Our wedding coordinator introduced to Kat Newman and she's such an amazing lady! We were able to pick and choose ever aspect of our ceremony so it was tailored for us! It was such a special and touching wedding ceremony! My mother who is a staunch Catholic woman and was disappointed we were not going to be married in a church by a priest was so impressed by Kat. My mom said she never heard a priest give such a meaningful and love-infused ceremony the way Kat did. If you're looking for an officiant, look no further!

Magical Officiant!
Three words…Kat is fabulous!!! When we first spoke it was like talking to a long time friend. She was so knowledgeable and informative and captured our story so beautifully. Kat provided so much guidance and advice and made it effortless for the ceremony to come together. The most important part of our special day was just perfect.
We can’t wait for the video. Kat included just the right mix of fun, humor, memories, tributes and love. We were lucky enough to have her stay for our reception and loved seeing her out on the dance floor. Kat will alway be special to us for being such an important part of this day and we look forward to watching the photos and videos from her future weddings!

An amazing experience!

Kat is incredible. What could have been a painful process (writing your vows) was smooth and easy. She provided numerous examples for us to use as inspiration and had us fill out a questionnaire to make sure she really got to know us as a couple before the big day. I felt like she provided the exact perfect amount of guidance and support, while also relieving some of the pressure we felt. Plus, she became instant friends with both our moms, and they still sing her praises!

Kat was our officiant for our destination wedding at First Flight Island Restaurant & Brewery in Key West. She was so responsive, helpful and a joy to work with. She gave my now husband and I many ideas and templates to help us form the ceremony of our dreams and she tailored it all to fit our personalities and what we were looking for! What words can I use to describe Kat? Kind, attentive, warm, and absolutely lovely. That's a good start. Ours was a second marriage, and we are a bit older, so our expectations were different. Kat gave us unique ideas, and we used them all. She helped us build a beautiful and unique ceremony. Incorporating love and our differing spirituality. And then, on the day of, she arrived and was as fabulous in-person, as she was during our earlier zoom meetings. I was recommended to Kat by my DJ, I contacted her one month before my wedding date. She was unavailable for our date but she had Bobbie Stutts available for us.
Bobbie was wonderful, she was very communicative, positive, friendly & easy to talk to. She got the process rolling quickly for us as we only had one month to get everything done. When hiring Bobbie I didn't plan to get much involved in what they do as officiant's. First thing was filling out a bunch of question which was a little intimidating but once my husband and I got into it, it was actually fun. That was the moment I decided I was all in and really wanted to customize our ceremony. Bobbie worked up a bunch of script for us and information for us to look at and go over. She also let me have the wheel and write up a lot of my own things for her to say. Which I LOVED so much because it made our ceremony very special to us!
Our wedding day, Bobbie was early, she came straight to me as I was getting ready. She gave me a copy of our ceremony as a keep sake & gathered our vow books. I have many pictures of Bobbie talking with everyone through the time before our ceremony. She was so very kind & just wonderful!

We didnt want a traditional wedding ceremony. We had a destination wedding and traveled to our paradise because it was more our style. Kat did an excellent job at making our ceremony unique to us! Bobbie was my officiant for my wedding. We talked for months before the big day. Bobbie made sure what we wanted was in our vows and recommended things we didn't even think of. Personable, and fun to work with
Kat was simply amazing for our destination wedding. My husband and I got married at Islamorada Fish Company this past week on 2/1/21 and she was amazing to work with. Down to earth, so kind, and personable. My family and guests adored her. She sent us examples of previous ceremonies and let us cut out and paste what we wanted for ours. I love that we had that option. We hope to keep in touch with Kat and see her next time we are downing the Keys, if she isn't busy officiating another wedding, of course.
Kat, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being our officiant. We will remember that day forever.

BEST wedding officiant in the Florida keys!
I first met Kat at a wedding expo in the Florida Keys. I instantly loved her great energy and personality. She prepared an amazing ceremony with personal touches that made it unique.Kat had our guest smiling, teary eyed and at some points laughing which was exactly what I was going for a fun keys wedding. I received so many compliments about the ceremony, In one of those compliments the guest told me they really enjoyed hearing Kat talk about our love story and how Richard and I met. These were the little details that made my wedding so special. Kat is very reliable she went above and beyond for us. our wedding was postponed twice because of covid crazy ! But thanks to kat she Accommodated us and made the process easy for a very stressed bride lol. Love you Kat

All of our guests kept saying how great Kat was! Not only was she an amazing speaker but she was super flexible and easy to work with. She provided us dozens of samples to choose from for our script. Even though there was a script, you never would have guessed from her easy delivery. Our ceremony was perfect. Thank you!

Kat is Fabulous!
We hired Kat to be our officiant. She was incredible right from the start! Professional, caring and attentive to detail. She took the time to get to know us as a couple to really make our wants specially catered to us!
Our venue will be at the Old River House. The venue is incredible both for the ambiance and the overall atmosphere. You can tell the staff and owners put their heart into it.

Truly a professional!
It says a lot about a business when you look at how they handle it when things fall apart. That was our experience with Kat (and company). We were planning for a romantic 20th anniversary vow renewal on the beach when Covid struck. We weren't able to travel - I was devastated. Kat was very kind and super understanding. Even though it was a difficult time for all, we reached a very reasonable agreement on a refund, which she kindly provided. You can trust this one!

Kat brings everything together with her amazing energy!
We were in a bind putting out wedding together after two of our venues fell through. Kat was able to be at an earlier wedding then drove to Islamorada to be at our wedding right after her first one. She did everything we asked for and more and was so fun, energetic and we love that she has such an open mind and heart to all couples no matter who they are. That's why we picked her! We wouldn't have had it any other way. Thanks Kat for making our day so much more special!

Kat is the best; everyone loved her enthusiasm and friendliness and she was perfect for our small initiate wedding at the Hampton Inn Key Largo on the beach. She is so easy to work with, friendly and responsive. She took the time to get to know us and made the ceremony feel personal and special. She walked us through everything and gained our trust the first time we spoke on the phone. We are in NC and planned everything with phone calls and email and I could always count on Kat to respond. Her personality is a joy! My husband and Kat hit it off immediately and we can’t wait to see her next year when we go back for vacation! Ceremonies by Kat is highly recommended.

Amazing wedding
Kat officiated our wedding at Key Largo Lighthouse last month and i am so pleased we found her! We were initally apprehensive about planning a destination wedding from the UK, but Kat made everything so simple and stress-free. She was always contactable via email and whatsapp, and provided us with loads of inspiration for our ceremony. On the day of the wedding she performed a relaxed, fun and personalised ceremony, which was exactly what we wanted. My wife and i clicked instantly with her, she was so friendly and so much fun and we invited her to stay with us and party for the rest of the evening, which she did! Thank you so much Kat for making our wedding come to life, we didn’t jus find a wedding officient, we found a friend too.

When it came to our ceremony, it was super important for my husband and I to find an officiant we could connect with, and Kat was just that. After our initial meeting with her, we knew that she would be perfect for our ceremony. Kat is energetic and personable, and made us feel very comfortable. She made the entire process of creating our ceremony draft so easy by providing tons of readings, samples, and examples of real life ceremonies that she’s done before. Everything was done in Google Docs, which made the editing process so smooth. Every one of our guests loved our ceremony, saying how beautiful it was and we know it wouldn’t have been the same without Kat. If you’re in need of an officiant, Kat is the way to go!

An amazing Officiant for our beautiful moment!
Kat was amazing! We had an elopement at Bakers Cay Resort in Key Largo. She arrived early and met me in the Salon. She patiently waited on me to get my makeup and hair finished. The ceremony was perfect. She was an absolute joy to have with us during our special moment. She was very thoughtful to our wants or needs and I loved the binder she put together of our vows. She is Amazing
Kat was simply wonderful; she truly has a gift and really understands people. We weren't sure exactly how we wanted our ceremony to go, aside from a sand pouring element, and to include our 18-month old daughter. Kat sent us samples to help mix and match for our ceremony to fit US. She's a lovely spirit, and did a wonderful job at our wedding. Even though we only had ~16 people there, you would never know. I really felt like our ceremony encompassed exactly what we wanted, and we have her to thank. She even stayed for dinner after, which was wonderful because she is super sweet and funny! OH! And another important part - I called her out of the blue the day before the wedding. We were trying to find the courthouse to get our marriage cert. and got lost trying to find it. With Kat's help, she pointed us in the right direction and told us where to go. We then found the place with ease. I also called her a week before the wedding with an important question, and she answered both times. She is super quick to email back. Took the worry out of everything! Simply wonderful!

The most genuine and kind offiant we could ask for
We booked with Kat in mid 2017 for our planned Feb 18 wedding. Due to Hurricane Irma, we postponed our wedding another year. Kat had no problem rescheduling our day with us. She worked every step of the way with our ceremony to be exactly how we wanted it to be. Kat is so genuine and fun with the best sense of humor and everyone loved the ceremony she did. She delivered what was promised and sent us a hard copy of the ceremony as a keepsake. She even took care of sending in our marriage license. I now consider her a good friend.

I honestly feel like Kat brought together our elopement as a whole. Just her sense of being there, her personality, her demeanor- it was all so calming and personalized. I looked on the internet and saw all the beautiful things Ms.Kat had done and called her. She was wonderful!! I told her we didn’t want all that jazzy stuff. Just a simple to the point ceremony on a beach at sunset and she nailed it!!!! Beautiful small beach with beautiful sunset. Just by talking to her all of 15 minutes the ceremony she did was exactly us! Thank you again Ms. Kat!

We booked Kat on the recommendation of our other vendors, and we are so glad that we did! Kat was so professional and organized, and was the perfect fit for our interfaith/non-denominational beachfront ceremony. It was so wonderful to plan our script together, and we truly built a long-lasting relationship throughout this process, despite our having a destination wedding.
Kat's approach to our wedding was filled with love and care. She was able to find the right words to create a magical setting for our ceremony, and truly represent our feelings for each other. She gave excellent recommendations and also included all the words and moments we wanted to make sure were included. It was serene yet funny, calm and full of love, and everyone was listening to her every word - even the bride and groom!
Kat did a lot of extra preparation to MC a special ceremony for our wedding, the breaking of the sapatia, and she executed it perfectly!!! We were all in the moment, and her voice and delivery for all the parts of the ceremony were flawless. Kat worked really well with all our vendors for cues, including music and photos, so that your key shots are only of you!
We are so happy that Kat was able to be part of our special day. She made the ceremony totally totally stress-free, and even better than we could ever imagine. We would highly recommend Kat's services to any couple looking for a casual yet sophisticated ceremony that is perfectly tailor the bride and groom. Thank you so much for everything!!

Kat was fantastic to work with and we were able to pull off a great wedding despite booking from 1,000 miles away. She took the time to schedule calls with us in order to get to know us and was willing to meet with us for coffee when we arrived in the Keys. She had a great selection of ceremony outlines, readings, and vows. She is a pro at what she does and kept out ceremony brief, light, and sweet. She encouraged us to be present, but also have our time in our own little world as we stood in front of our friends and family. I would recommend her to anyone!

Kat is first and foremost extremely talented and passionate about her work. We had never met in person prior to the wedding, but when we did meet I felt like I was talking to an old friend. She is so kind, compassionate, warm, and funny! Many of our guests came up to me after the ceremony and told me how much they loved her. And to top it all off, when we had to relocate our wedding to Miami Beach last minute, she without hesitation made the trip up from the Keys. WE LOVE YOU, KAT - you are a GEM!!!! Kat was very kind and helpful from the beginning, with a Skype chat to get to know us. She then followed up with a "couple" form so she could write a personalized love story for our ceremony. Kat responded within a day by email when we were putting together our ceremony. She had a great variety of readings and passages to choose from, and she was very open to using a reading that we had chosen from another source.
The love story Kat wrote was touching. It was clear she took a lot of time to read through everything we had shared with her; she got to the center of what makes us "us."
Kat is friendly, professional, and we are so thankful that she was our officiant!

Was awesome. Could not have asked for better service or customer service. She sent us a lot of ceremonies to choose from to fit our style and also let us free style the vows. She did not try to push anything on us or steer us one way or another. Just listened and then took it from there. We also had rain at the time so we had to be very flexible and adjust on the "go" which Kat did perfect!!!

We hired Kat for our elopement this past January. She was very professional, warm and worked with us so that we had the wedding that we wanted. We had a very intimate ceremony on the beach with just the two of us, Kat and the photographer. She even helped us while we were getting ready for the ceremony! She definitely helped to calm our nerves. We absolutely recommend her for your wedding.
PS. We also hired her friend Micha Vandiver as our photographer and they work very well together! They are like a perfect support team for your wedding. We recommend the pair of them!

Not only does she possess the love and grace to conduct such a special occasion, but she is also loyal and devoted to you and your own perfect idea. =) She was more than helpful from the getgo. How and where get the licensing, where the beautiful scenery was, etc...
Kat absolutely made our wedding! She put her heart into it and it was magical. We're still amazed! She gave us a copy of our whole ceremony and was SUPER helpful by taking our pictures. We used both her words and her photos for our announcement. Kat is the real deal and we consider her a friend.
