Perfect officiant for a perfect ceremony

As we don't live in LA, Deidra worked hard to make sure our meetings were virtual and at times that worked with our schedule. She made sure we figured out every aspect of the ceremony and walked us through the various parts we hadn't thought of, giving us great suggestions. Day of, the ceremony ran perfectly and was everything we could have hoped for. Additionally, when it came to navigating LA county's marriage license bureaucracy, She led us through it, resolving a complex and confusing source of stress. Deidra is the best you could hope for when it comes to an officiant and if you want a perfect ceremony, she will ensure you have one.

Genuine and thoughtful!

Deidra officiated our wedding in August. She created a beautiful ceremony that honored our family's religious roots without compromising our views as a couple. Everything about Deidra was first-class from our first communication, to her officiating our special day. She has such a warm heart which we could feel from the start, she took the time to get to know us and understand our wishes for the ceremony whilst also guiding us through the daunting organisation of such an event making us feel completely at ease. From the moment Deidra responded to our initial email we knew that she was the perfect wedding officiant for us. She was so helpful & kind throughout the entire process (we were organising an LA wedding from the UK) & was always prompt with her responses. Choosing Deidra, as our officiant, was our best wedding decision.

As a result of Covid, we had to postpone our wedding 4 different times and with the chaotic mess of rescheduling all the details of the wedding, many vendors along with ourselves grew tired, overwhelmed and frustrated. However, our beacon of light was Deidra. I have never met such a lovely, calm, and well-organized being in my life. Deidra made sure that all the details of the ceremony were perfect, (even details that I thought were unimportant at first and now learned its value), were suggested and executed perfectly by Deidra. She is beyond intelligent, helpful, and made sure to keep us on track with our vows and with the script of the ceremony. She was single handedly the most professional, experienced, and organized member of our wedding and her angelic calm voice is exactly what we wanted for an officiant to announce our union. Out of the hundreds of decisions, we made for our wedding and the four different times we had to make them, the best decision from the beginning was inviting Deidra to be our officiant.

A wonderful experience

Deidra was very helpful in getting us ready for our big day. She provided us with tips on when and how to apply for a marriage license, she set up a private rehearsal session to finalize processional and ceremonial details, and she submitted our completed marriage license to the city for processing. She took care of the little details, which allowed my wife and I to focus on enjoying our wedding day. We felt very prepared and comfortable on our wedding day because of the guidance she provided us. Thanks for all that you did for us, Deidra! You helped us make our dream wedding a reality.

The Easiest Decision We Made

Choosing Deidra to be our wedding officiant was the easiest decision we made during our whole planning process. From our first conversation, it was clear that she was the right person to marry us. Her calm presence is infectious, and instantly removed any nerves that we had. Deidra is extremely professional but also personal with her advice and words of encouragement. Deidra is the best!!

We're so glad we found Deidra, she's amazing pre-wedding and during the wedding ceremony. She's a true professional, we couldn't have asked for a better officiant!
We are a non-religious couple and not traditional (We have 3 cultural traditions that were clashing so we just wanted a fun, laid back wedding not full of contradictory rules to follow). We really wanted an officiant that will respect and listen to our non-traditional needs and Deidra checked all the boxes for us. Not to mention she has the best voice!
Before the wedding, she provided us a very detailed custom running order of how our ceremony is going to happen step by step. It's super helpful because we definitely didn't know what to expect. Covid also prevented our family members to join us and Deidra was understanding of our circumstances and stayed flexible and communicative throughout the whole planning part. On the day-of, we heard there was a fire truck outside blocking the entrance to the venue so guests were delayed to coming in. Deidra took charge and kept the wedding ceremony running smoothly and ended on time.

We had a great experience working with Diedra as our wedding officiant. Even meeting only virtually, she was extremely easy to talk to and we felt like we were catching up with an old friend during our meetings. She put together a beautiful, personal ceremony, very specific to us and our journey. On the day of our wedding she did a wonderful job officiating, and even found a way to make our family members that could only attend virtually part of the ceremony. Deidra handled all the details for us!

We can't say enough about Deidra. She made the wedding ceremony planning process so easy for us. We met with her for a brief consultation and immediately fell in love with her professionalism and calming demeanor. She immediately made us feel at ease and alleviated much of our stress. She handled all of our ceremony-related items without any hiccups (we had a few special requests) and on the day of our ceremony we had so many guests come up to us to tell us how lovely Deidra was. Even post-ceremony she kept in touch to let us know that she had mailed in our license to the County Registrar. We cannot recommend Deidra highly enough. Smooth as Silk

We were looking for a professional and experienced officiant who could officiate a non-religious ceremony, and Deidra fit the bill.
Deirdra is articulate, elegant, and has a calm demeanor that we love.
From our very first meeting with her, we noticed that she is confident, patient, and well-organized, which made it easy for us. She was open to ideas, gave us some ideas, and communicated with our wedding coordinator right away.
Deidra took a lot of pressure off of us. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow.
She made sure that we could contact her via phone or email for any concerns.
Deidra communicates very well. She promptly replies to emails and follows up on a regular basis. She often took the initiative to contact us first with any updates and to just check up on us.

At a most difficult time, I had no idea where to begin, in honoring my Mother in a Celebration of Life.

Amazing ceremony!

Deidra was absolutely wonderful! She was so proactive and organized when planning our ceremony. She was very receptive to our ideas, even when we weren't sure of what we wanted. She also checked in on us regularly, which we are thankful for, since planning a wedding from across the country can be a little overwhelming! She even helped us with the logistics of applying for a marriage license in California! Our ceremony was perfect! So many of our guests have told us how sweet and well-spoken she was. She made sure our ceremony reflected who we are, our love for one another, and even managed to include our furry son, Apollo (who was a groomsman).

Best Officiant Ever!!!

Deidra is AMAZING!!! She is so sweet and caring. She has a beautiful accent that will make your ceremony even beautiful. She’s well organized and will treat your wedding as one of her own. I cannot stop speaking highly of her because she was that amazing. She show up ahead of schedule and made sure everyone was present and had whatever it was they were responsible for. It was very clear from our first conversation with Deidra, she was the perfect person to marry us! It took us most of our engagement to figure out who it should be, and after looking through tons of officiants online, all of whom just didn't seem right, we were so relieved to find Deidra! First off, she's just a lovely human. She's kind and funny and you can just tell she loves what she does. We didn't know what kind of ceremony we wanted or what traditions should be included, but she walked us through it all, and put together a beautiful ceremony that really felt like us. Another thing we felt and appreciated is that Deidra truly believes in marriage and understands the weight and importance of it. She guided through writing our vows, along with the process of getting all the necessary paperwork in order (we needed help with both!!) We've had so many people tell us what a beautiful ceremony it was, and how it truly felt like us. Deidra Gray-Breijo officiated at our wedding on September 1st at the 94th Aero Squadron in Van Nuys. From the moment we met her I knew she was the only person I wanted to join us together in matrimony. She was gracious and poised at our first meeting even though we were sadly 15 minutes late (LA traffic.) She was engaging and receptive to our wants and needs regarding our ceremony. Soon after our first meeting she had a transcript of the ceremony which was very well thought out and we found deeply touching, just what we wanted to convey on the day. We hardly needed any revisions. She kept in contact with us through the months before the date and offered us great advice on how to manage stress and get the most out of the process that is planning a wedding. I really appreciated her Zen attitude and calm, reassuring demeanor. She reminded me to have fun and enjoy the process and not to sweat over every detail. She has that great combination of professionalism with a wonderful sense of humor that helps keep the "Bridezilla" under control. On the wedding day, Deidra arrived promptly, was dressed elegantly and appropriately for our 6:00 pm ceremony. At our venue we had planes taking off occasionally, but because of her helpful suggestions and her deft timing, the ceremony was smooth and meaningful and as perfect as one could ever hope. Her voice was mellifluous and interesting with that hint of Australian accent. It kept our guests and us engaged and entertained. I and my husband would definitely recommend her services.

We knew Deidra was going to be incredibly efficient and organized by the long and in-depth consultation we had upon first meeting her. We spent an hour and a half going over every aspect of our ceremony and we enjoyed our time with her very much. She also typed up the notes that she took so that we could check everything. Deidra was a delight to work with. We were apparently late to the game in looking for an officiant only six weeks before our ceremony, and we were so lucky that Deidra was available. She was quick to respond and took the time to get to know us as a couple on a weekend morning, which was the only time we were both available to meet. Deidra made sure that our ceremony ran smoothly and walked us through all of the details that we hadn’t thought of. If we ever get married again, we will be sure to use Deidra!

Deidra was very supportive during the wedding process. She was very informative and assisted us with any questions. She made getting the marriage license super easy with all her advice. Deidra was also very caring and supportive through out our ceremony process. My husband and I wanted to write our own vows and when we were having trouble writing, Deidra gave us the advice we needed in order to complete them. We cannot express how lucky we feel to have found Deidra to provide us with the most beautiful ceremony we have ever been to.

Deidra was truly amazing to work with. Such a high degree of professionalism and so on top of everything! We couldn't have asked for a more special ceremony. Deidra was wonderful, professional, and added such a personal touch to our wedding day. We wish we could rate more than 5 Stars. Deidra was amazing! We live on the east coast and planned to be married on our vacation in California. The distance had us concerned while planning such an event. You only have one chance to get it right. As soon as we spoke with Deidra, our worries went out the window. She is so easy to speak to and made us feel so relaxed. My husband and I could not be happier with the service we received from Deidra. Throughout the wedding planning process she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made a genuine effort to understand who we were as a couple form the initial meeting all the way through to our big day. She worked with us to draft personalized vows and followed up regularly as the wedding drew closer to make sure we were on the same page. The end result was a ceremony that we felt perfectly reflected what our wedding meant to us. Additionally, it was very important to us that our officiant be well spoken and well prepared. My wife and I chose Deidra because we were looking for a non-religious officiant who seemed down to earth and fun, and Deidra fit the bill! From start to finish, we never regretted our decision. Deidra listened to what we were looking for and provided exactly that, while also offering occasional advice and thoughts on things we were considering. When we told her we wanted to write our own vows, she helped us with the process, providing some samples that we could start from if we wanted. The result was a ceremony that was beautiful, fun and very much us! If you're looking for a wedding officiant in the LA area, Deidra is amazing. You won't regret going with her.

Deidra was an absolute joy to work with. She was thorough and really took the time to get to know my husband and I. The way she spoke about the two of us during the ceremony was like she had known us for years. She even managed to tie in a funny story of how the two of us met.

Deidra was great with planning and a wealth of knowledge. She supplied us with readings and vows that really made our ceremony unique. Deidra is amazing! She was detailed, professional and caring thoughout the whole planning process. From the first meeting with her, my husband and I knew instantly we made the right choice. And what an important choice finding the right officiant is. We did a lot of planning but the ceremony was by far one of the most important aspects to us. We had a lot of customization and tradition we wanted to incorporate into our ceremony that was beyond traditional. During our introductory meeting, Deidra made us feel comfortable and listened diligently on how we envisioned our big day. Almost immediately after that initial meeting with her, she followed up and suggested a perfect outline of the day for our consideration. She checked in through out the whole planning process and offered invaluable advice for other aspects of the wedding as well. Behind the scenes, she took time well ahead of the date to talk to the coordinators as well as the DJ, to ensure a seamless perfect day for us and even checked on me the morning of to make sure I was still calm and to remind me how perfect everything was going to be! Well when the day finally came, it was. She performed our ceremony in such a personalised way, it seemed through her words, that she had known us for years. She truly has a gift for public speaking and for making people feel at ease and comfortable. Her speaking voice is beyond pleasant and all of the guests remarked at how enjoyable the ceremony was and what a wonderful job she did. I couldn't agree more and would recommend her to anyone that is in need of an officiant for their ceremony. Deidra is a true professional and you won't be disappointed with her services!

We hired Deidra to be the officiant for our non-denominational wedding on June 21, 2015 and I am SO happy we did.

My husband and I both work in film and we wanted to use some well-known wedding scenes in our own wedding, so naturally, we thought of Princess Bride. Deidra was a great sport about it and delivered the "Mawiage" line beautifully. Our guests loved it and so did we!!

She is also a wealth of information and examples for vows, prayers, poems, whatever it is you might be looking for. She loves her work and you can tell.

Initially, our dads were going to marry us but as the wedding was approaching, I became super overwhelmed with the task of writing out the ceremony. I reached out to the person who was the venue coordinator to ask for a referral (which was Deidre).

Deidre got back to me right away, was super professional and asked all the right questions. After the ceremony, everyone kept coming up to me saying how wonderful Deidre and the service were. She really was spectacular and I would highly recommend her services to you. She made me and my now husband feel at ease and as stress free as we could have felt in front of all our family and friends.

Deidra officiated a perfect ceremony for us. From the moment we met her she was extremely professional, but also very warm and welcoming. She took the time to find out what was important to us and delivered exactly the right tone for our personalities. We did not want a long ceremony, but other than that we really had no idea what to include and had a blank slate to work with. She made suggestions and added the perfect amount of perspective and sentiment to our ceremony. She honored our family members who are no longer with us and thanked our family and friends who traveled long distances with the right amount of class and sincerity. She also suggested several readings that could work for us.

One other seemingly minor thing stood out for me. When it was time to exchange rings, she had both in her hand. My (now) husband went first and when she offered the ring to him, my ring was in her palm and his ring was looped onto her finger so he couldn't grab it. Like I said, it was minor, but it ensured that he would take the correct ring. In the moment, it would have been easy to grab the wrong one or fumble with them, but she paid close attention to even that minor detail. Several of our guests commented throughout the night that they loved our ceremony and her voice and that it was just perfect for us.

We really hit the jackpot with having Deidra as an officiant. If only ALL wedding vendors could be of such value. She treated us as if we were the ONLY couple she was marrying anytime soon- which of course could not have been the case! She just made us feel so special and so taken care of - a quality hard to find in a "vendor" especially when you are planning a wedding for the first time. She was incredibly professional, prompt and thorough with her responses and was very efficient and easy to work with. And that was just behind the scenes! I have been to weddings where I cringe when the officiant puts their own spin on things or says things I know the bride and groom aren't 100% ok with. With Deidra, she presents everything so eloquently and also adds a creative, loving touch to communicate to the crowd just how special and loving your relationship is. Nothing cookie cutter or plug and play - GENUINE weaving in of certain aspects of your relationship. I was floored! My groom and I loved her officiating so much that we are framing her words. Immediately after the ceremony, it wasn't my pretty lanterns with flowers or the OCEAN VIEW that guests commented on, but it was compliment after compliment for Deidra, how lovely her words were, how she touched on so many wonderful things about our relationship, and most of all, how it was so endearing and not boring and what everyone said "Was absolutely flawless." Wedding day aside, my groom and I felt like we were in such good hands, like someone truly had our back in this entire world of navigating a wedding and the marriage process. I would recommend Deidra 100 times over. You are so lucky if you get to have Deidra conduct your ceremony!

Diedre was wonderful. She prepared a wedding service specifically tailored to our situation. She arrived early and visited with us so she could get to know us. As a result, she made our ceremony very personal and special. Diedre gave us wonderful advice on where to get our marriage license without any wait or hassle (go to Beverly Hills Clerk's office). She sent us sample marriage vows and other lists of things we could choose from in our ceremony. Finally, she arrived beautifully dressed and very prepared. She wanted to make our ceremony special and she did. She has a beautiful Austrailian accent and everything she did made our day a very special one. We consider Diedre to be a great friend and we hope to see her when we visit LA in the future. She is FABULOUS!!!!

Deidra was great - amazing to work with and very flexible. She took all our nerves away and hand held us from day one!
Lang and I were so amazed at the amount of texts, emails and calls we received from our guests. So many people contacted us to say that the wedding was the best they have ever been to. They also expressed that the ceremony was so honest, and the just the right amount of laughter and seriousness.

My husband David and I had the most personal and memorable ceremony. It exceeded all my dreams and expectations. Our first meeting with Deidra helped us envision how we wanted our day to be. Deidra made us feel so welcome and at home when we first met her. She spent so much time with us getting to know the little details about us and the reasons why we love each other. She made us both laugh and even made me cry! We were both just wowed at what a lovely person Deidra was, that there was no question that anyone else should marry us.

Deidra created and delivered such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony for us! She really "got" us and it showed. I had a couple of guests even ask how long we've known her and how we were related! :-) She took the time to get to know us beforehand and what we wanted to express through our vows, and she really personalized the whole thing really well. She even included lovely words and mentions to family members and out of town guests that we were honored to have in attendance, and honored them very eloquently. I am so NOT comfortable being in front of people and being so vulnerable like that. Deidra is such a wonderfully calming and gentle presence though, that even I got through it and really enjoyed the experience! My husband was very emotional and loved her words and he appreciated how well it spoke to his feelings and was very caught up in the moment. He basically cried through the whole thing. :-) I hate to repeat myself, but I have no other way to describe what she did for us, as just simply beautiful. She is a wonderful speaker - her voice is mesmerizing and comforting, and she really grabs and keeps the attention of the room. In the days leading up to the wedding, Deidra encouraged my stressed out self to just relax, and she let me know that she was there for me if I needed her. She is a wonderful soul, and I am so grateful and honored to have had her share the most important part of our day with us. Everything (including Deidra herself!) was so BEAUTIFUL!

If you have the opportunity to hire Deidra as your officiant you are a very lucky bride! It just does not get better than her when it comes to creating and performing a wedding ceremony.

First of all, Deidra made creating the ceremony an enjoyable and collaborative process. She has an incredible amount of experience with every type of ceremony so she was able to give us suggestions and advice about every aspect. We wanted a non-denominational ceremony with a few references to each of our religions. She knew just how to do it and in a way that made each of our families comfortable. What impressed me most though was how much time Deidra spent working on our ceremony in the months before the wedding. She took the time to really listen to what we wanted and what was important to us and tailored the ceremony to us. As a result, the ceremony felt so personal and warm. In fact, everyone thought Deidra had known us for years!

What was most telling was that the comment we heard the most from our guests about our wedding was that they thought our ceremony was amazing and that our officiant was wonderful. All I can say is that Deidra gave us the ceremony of our dreams and it is entirely because of her that our wedding ceremony will be one of the happiest memories in our lives.

In the chaos of our wedding planning and actual wedding day, the one calming force was Deidra. From the moment we met her, we knew she was the perfect officiant for us. And we were right. She did a run-through of the ceremony with us at our first meeting and told us exactly what to expect. And afterwards, she always kept us informed and was very responsive. And since we wrote our own vows, Deidra was very helpful and reassuring about the process. There were no dry eyes at our wedding ceremony. It was both of our favorite part of our wedding and every guest commented on how beautiful our ceremony was. Deidra's voice is elegant, calming and romantic. Every word was spoken with meaning and depth. She guided us through the whole thing and all my husband and I had to do was focus on each other, which we did. My wife Carol and I were married on 09/09/12 at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. Diedra was our officiant and was great to work with both at the ceremony and for the months leading up to it. When looking to hire people for different aspects of the wedding, reliability and consistency was very important to me. We didn't want to have any doubts about people we were hiring. I felt totally confident with Diedra from the very beginning. She always answered emails, phone calls, and text messages right away. She was always available to answer questions and concerns we had. She also helped us with the marriage license which was great. I'm sure most couples worry about everything going smoothly for the wedding and reception and my wife and I were no different. But one thing we were not worried about at all was whether or not our officiant would be on time and do a good job. And Deidra definitely delivered. We Highly recommend her for your wedding.

We were just married on 8.25.12 and Deidra performed an amazing heartfelt, personal ceremony that was everything we wanted and more! Nearly everyone was in tears! We wrote our own vows and Deidra created a lovely sermon that included a cute story about us. Another aspect of our ceremony was a love letter ceremony in which we wrote personal letters to one another and then placed them in a capsule with a bottle of wine and sealed it. On our 5 year anniversary we will open it, read the letters and enjoy the wine. We were so thankful to have found as her she made the process easy and went out of her way to meet with us so that we felt completely comfortable and confident on our wedding day. Deidra has such warm presence about her it and is very talented and organized at what she does. Our ceremony was the best part of our wedding day, we had so many compliments after. We can't thank Deidra enough for helping to make our day so special and memorable for us.

Deidra officiated at my wedding on August fifth. Both my husband and I were so pleased with the wonderful ceremony Deidra created for us. She really cared about making sure it fit with who we are and with our personal beliefs. It was everything I could have hoped for and more. She made our ceremony so incredible and personal. She has a wonderful speaking voice and presence, and when she arrived at the ceremony site she looked lovely and professional. Besides the actual ceremony, Deidra did an amazing job of making this whole process so easy for us. Any time I had any questions she was so prompt to respond and was so helpful and sweet. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful wedding experience.

We just had Deidra marry us last week and were so pleased! We were a little nervous about finding our officiant online but after meeting with her for only an hour, both of us felt immediately at ease. She did a great job with our ceremony and added a lot of cute stories about us that made it feel very personal. She definitely did not insert too much of her own personal touch which was greatly appreciated as I've been to weddings where that happened and it didn't feel like it was truly for the couple getting married. We had many of our guests come up to us afterward saying how much they loved our ceremony! She was also very easy to work with along the way and sent us lots of reminders to make sure we had everything in order beforehand! We'd recommend her to anyone!

I first became aware of Deidra's wonderful ability as a wedding officiant at one of my best friends wedding's. After watching the service I remember thinking, "That's exactly what I want when I get married." I didn't even have a boyfriend at the time. A few years later I found myself engaged to the man of my dreams searching wedding officiants online. I had asked my friend the name of the woman that married her, remembering how much I liked her, but she had yet to get back to me so I decided to have a look around. I found Deidra and was immediately taken by her and knew she was the one to marry us. Later I found out that this was also the woman that I was originally so impressed with at my friends wedding. She delivers a wonderful story about each couple so that each ceremony is unique to them. She is professional, has a wonderful presence, is there for you every step of the way, works to make sure that everything runs smoothly, and leaves everyone in the audience saying, "What a wonderful ceremony that was." We could not recommend Diedra enough. She performed such an amazing ceremony for us, everyone is still talking about how beautiful and personal it was. She was truely amazing.

As we were from the UK we were a little unsure on what we would need for the wedding licence and she couldn't have been more helpful, Diedra is very professional and very quick to respond to any queries.

Diedra took her time to get to know us which resulted in a very personal service which was just beautiful, we couldnt of asked for anything more.

Deidra was absolutely the best Officiant we came across! The hardest part of planning our wedding was finding an Officiant that would make our ceremony special. Words cannot express the ceremony we had! It was so romantic and beautiful and touched many peoples hearts. Deidra is so professional, the day that we met we knew right away that she was perfect for us, the first appointment was at her house and she took us trhought all the steps of a ceremony,she answered all our questions and she asked about our relationship, how we met, who's going to attend, how we want our ceremony to be, everything to make our wedding ceremony personal and all about us, she is very kind and makes you feel that everything is going to run smoothly with her and that's how it was. we were totally clueless about the paperwork and not only she cleared all our questions but gave us a list of things to do before the ceremony and because of that we didn't miss a thing...great!!. she was in contact with us the whole time so by the day of the ceremony every single detail was cover. The big day came and she was on time, making sure that everyone knew their place,testing the mic,talking with the DJ,the party etc. Our ceremony was beautiful, we couldn't belive that she got every single detail about, her tone is so calm, clear and articulated, oh it was perfect!!!.
Seriously if you don't want end up with the cookie cutter oficciant or yet worse the cheesse one and you want someone that you can really trust, that can take you step by step throught all the process, someone professional yet very humble and warm we strongly recommend you to get in touch with Deidra because she is the best. Deidra was the officiant for our April 9, 2011 wedding and we were so happy that we went with her! She was always responsive and willing to answer any questions we had and she put together a beautiful ceremony for us. We had more compliments on our ceremony than any other part of our wedding and we attribute that to the absolutely beautiful ceremony that Deidra wrote and performed for us. Deidra allowed us to pick our readings, vows, etc. and incorporated anecdotes and stories from our relationship which made the ceremony that much more personal. We are so happy that we had Deidra for our wedding officiant and we highly recommend her to anyone else!

Deidra was amazing. She made it the most beautiful and romantic wedding ever. Her services were excellent from the beginning til the end. She's got a great personality; very warm and friendly. We both fell in love with her from the first momment we met her. She really wished for our happiness and we couldn't ask for a better peson than someone like Deidra to perform our ceremony. Deidra was prompt, organized and professional. She took her time getting to know us to make our ceremony personal and very special. I couldn't help it but to shed some tears during her readings. It was absolutly beautiful. Deidra has soft Australian accent but very pretty and made it more beautiful. I loved her accent. Our guests also loved her and gave me lots of compliments to how great she was. I couldn't ask for a better officiant. She was the best!!! My husband and I have been married for more than a year. And, we still look back on that day and remember how wonderful everything was during our ceremony because of Deidra. My step daughter was a very important part of the wedding, she was 3 years old at the time and we wanted to do a vow and present her with a present. This is something Deidra really encouraged and helped with. This is the reason why we pursued interviewing with her because of other interviews with similar situations. But the reason we booked is because she took her time and made us feel welcomed into her home, she had us write down what we loved about each other and then she used what we secretly wrote as apart of the ceremony. Finding an officiant for your wedding can be a very difficult task. That person has to be a reflection of who you are and conduct the ceremony in the spirit of how you as a couple envisioned it.

When we faced that decision for our wedding back in May, we really went the extra mile to find someone special. Our search brought us to Deidra, and boy, was it the right decision. We found someone who truly could bring our ceremony "vision" to life, tailored exactly to the way we wanted it.

From the very first meeting, Deidra listened carefully to our needs for the ceremony and walked us through every step of the process. We covered everything with her. She asked many questions about us as a couple and began crafting a ceremony that would be unique and special for us. She also navigated us through the complicated wedding license steps with ease.

Fast-forward to our wedding day: Deidra was there at the venue early on to make sure everything was in order. Her calm and poise set the stage for our ceremony.

Deidra was amazing and we cannot thank her enough. We are not a traditional couple by any means. My family is Catholic and my heritage is Polish and Filipino. My husband, James, is Seventh Day Adventist and he is of Korean descent. Culturally and religiously, our families are very different. Planning our wedding meant taking into consideration each of our families' expectations and also including details that would be important to us as a couple. You can see Deidra had her work cut out for her.

When James and I first met with Deidra, we were very impressed at her patience and how she allowed us the opportunity to explain in depth our backgrounds and our concerns. She discussed many options for creating the perfect ceremony. She also worked with us in researching details and scripted a ceremony especially around our unique circumstances.

Without any reservations we would recommend her to all. The ceremony was exactly what we desired; it was flawless and beautiful. We cried and laughed throughout and we felt that the words really captured the essence of us as a couple. Our family and friends still comment how special our ceremony was. Thank you, Deidra.

Look no further - you've found the PERFECT officiant.

What an amazing experience my husband and I had with Deidra. I cannot express our gratitude for her professionalism, her attention to detail and overall warmth and joy she infused into our ceremony. (her slightly-softened Australian accent didn't hurt, either)

In fact, she was more aware, organized and on-top of our entire day than our team of wedding planners/designers were. She inquired about details that I suspect made my wedding planners/designers think things through that much better; for which I am forever grateful. She has a wonderful way in which she begins getting to know a couple, and by the end, we felt as if she were part of our family, not someone we had hired. She even recommended our wedding photographer, who had the best photo-journalist sense of style, we could not have been happier.

Pre-wedding day she was incredibly interested in getting to know what makes "us" a couple, and what is important to us - our likes/dislikes, wants, needs, etc. With the knowledge she gained, she gave our ceremony such personal touches that there were few dry eyes in the audience (and alter, I must say).

During the wedding day she is as calm as a cucumber, and made us feel as if there were not a single worry to be had -- which really, there wasn't! She was genuine and welcoming to everyone, and made all in the audience feel right at home.

Several weeks after the wedding, we still had people remarking on the overall fluidity and ease of the day. We credit Deidra in our reply, knowing that without her there, things would not have been as memorable or as touching.

Deidra made our wedding day perfect.

From the moment we retained her services we knew that she would be a perfect fit. She is so professional and yet very fun to work with. There are so many things that make her worthy of our high praise. First of all, Deidra’s personality is incredibly warm and friendly, so immediately my fiancé and I felt comfortable talking to her about all of our personal details. She encouraged our ideas and added many of her own suggestions, which turned out to be great. She was extremely dedicated in making our ceremony touching and personal. Deidra took notes on everything we talked about during our consultation, and she typed up a complete running order based on our discussions. During our meeting she read to us various readings, and when we heard her beautiful voice, I began to cry. It wasn’t even the wedding day, but I was already crying tears of joy!

When it came to the actual big day, Deidra arrived an hour early to check on everything before the ceremony began. The entire bridal party noticed how calm and reassuring she was, just to take away of any of our nerves. She is meticulous about checking on things to make sure everything is in place as it should be. Our wedding coordinator also loved her because Deidra was so easy and efficient to work with.

I know every bride is really nervous when it comes to selecting their Officiant, but I could not recommend Deidra more positively. My family and friends absolutely loved her poise, warmth and the lovely way in which she spoke about us. Deidra is the best. If you choose her, your ceremony will be amazing and any of your friends will be asking you for her contact details.

We were extremely pleased to work with Deidra Gray-Breijo. Our initial impressions of Deidra were that she was professional, prompt, positive, assuring, warm, organized and helpful--and our regard for her only grew in the planning process. Since we were planning a wedding on the West Coast from the East Coast, we worked with her primarily through email, but at no point did we feel that we were at a disadvantage for it.

Deidra is very personable and genuine, and made a point to speak by phone at least several times to ensure that we were happy with various requests or changes to the ceremony running order. She gave us much flexibility in designing a ceremony that we would be comfortable with, and was respectful of our (atheist) beliefs. She provided us with many vow and reading selections to choose from, which she encouraged us to edit as we saw fit. She took the time to learn about us individually and as a couple, and even surprised us with some anecdotes that we conveyed to her about each other within her sermon! She also provided us with many options for her wardrobe, which was a small nicety that we appreciated.

Before the ceremony, Deidra was prompt and assisted us with the logistics of the marriage license. During the ceremony, Deidra was flawless in her preparation and presentation, and we followed her prompts easily. The ceremony was more powerful than we thought it could be, and we really credit Deidra for setting the perfect tone and creating such a memorable event.

Deidra wrote a very personal and appropriate ceremony for my daughter and her new husband, based on a meeting 2 1/2 months prior to the wedding. She included my new grandaughter- as requested by the bride and groom, in a very touching family joining part of the ceremony. My only complaint is that she did not attend the rehearsal and since we did not hire a wedding co-ordinator, we had difficulty with that aspect the day prior. Although she did have the entire ceremony written out in an outline for rehearsal day. All in all, it was a beautiful ceremony and she made our guests feel like she knew the bride and groom personally. She followed all of their wishes to keep religion out of the ceremony but still make it feel "sacred".
