From the moment we saw Celeste’s work on her site (https://www.celestehernandez.com/), we knew we HAD to have her photograph our wedding. Her quality style photos were just stunning, the natural style and unposed pictures we just fell in love with.
From the minute we met Celeste, we felt comfort, transparency and overall joy. She is so friendly and approachable and we knew she would blend into our wedding effortlessly. For months up to the wedding, she stayed in touch and when it came to the day it felt like we’d known her for years! During the day she was like a ninja! You never saw her but she was everywhere! From the complimentary engagement photos, to the day of our wedding, Celeste captured so many lovely moments between people we love so dearly and we will treasure these pictures forever!
If anyone is even slightly considering hiring Celeste, don’t think about it just do it!!!! You will NOT regret it!!! I promise.

Celeste was truly our ideal wedding photographer. She has such a strong point of view, a talented eye, and a great editing style. On the wedding day, she was efficient (we loved this!), easy to work with, and captured the perfect mix of candid moments and cool editorial shots. Within 2 days of the wedding, she shared a sneak peek album which already had 100+ edited photos. Our photos are beautiful, and we can't wait to see the full gallery. -

The absolute best
My husband and I got married last summer and we still talk about how incredible of an experience we had with Celeste! We get complimented regularly on the photos we have. She captured the essence of the day exactly the way we wanted and made us feel so relaxed during portraits! Even my mom and sister still talk about her. We cannot recommend Celeste enough! You get what you pay for and then some. Her energy and work added so much to the day. -

We give Celeste our warmest recommendation, she made our day a perfect experience! She takes very beautiful and professional photos! We had some challenges with our wedding date and travel due to covid 19, but she was flexible and we finally got married! -

Dream wedding photographer!
If you are looking for an incredibly talented, professional, warm and creative wedding photographer then look no further. My husband and I feel so, so lucky to have worked with Celeste for our February 2022 wedding! We initially hired Celeste for our Brooklyn wedding planned for June 2020. After multiple postponements and major changes to our original plans, we settled on a February 2022 wedding in Marietta, GA. Celeste was an absolute gem through all of these changes, always super accommodating and understanding.
Celeste is incredibly talented and shot absolutely gorgeous moments we are so lucky that she captured! She really goes out of her way to ensure a flawless experience. For instance, the day before our wedding, she scoped out the location for our "first look" and organized a shot list of different locations around the square that would make phenomenal backdrops. And they truly were- are now some of our favorite shots!
Celeste is so friendly, warm, and just lovely to work with from start to finish. My sister also hired her for her engagement photos and had an equally superb experience! I look forward to working with Celeste again. Thank you for helping us preserve our wedding day memories so beautifully, Celeste!! -

Celeste was the photographer at one of my best friends wedding in 2019. Since then she has been the photographer at so many of my friends weddings including my own! She makes everything from planning to rounding up family for pictures seem so easy! Your wedding day can be so stressful and Celeste makes everything run so smoothly. My husband and I could not recommend Celeste and her team more! She made our wedding day truly fantastic and we wouldn't have wanted any other photographer there. She met with us several times to plan out how we wanted our day to go, she was on time and stuck to the schedule, and went practically unnoticed the whole day while capturing the best photos. Captured our wedding better than ever imagined
We thank our lucky stars that we found Celeste for our wedding. Celeste captured photos that we didn’t even realize she was taking. The whole day felt like we were just walking around with our best friend and she just happen to be taking photos. When we got the photos we were blow away at what she captured. She is so incredibly talented with using lighting and background to her advantage and our favorite photos are all the candid ones. We loved Celeste’s work so much that we also did a maternity photo shoot with her and she again blew us away with the photos. We are so grateful to have had Celeste with us for our biggest life moments. Celeste feels like part of our family now. ❤️ -

Amazing Wedding Photography
I love Celeste and I love our wedding photos. When hiring her, I was drawn to the way each wedding portfolio she’d done was different - it was very clear to me that she was able to cater the style to the individual couple.
We loved working with her for our engagement shoot — she made us feel very comfortable and we had a great time laughing and talking with us. And the pictures we got back were gorgeous. When we had to postpone for a year, she was very flexible and and so supportive.
When our wedding day finally came, working with her was amazing. Her second photographer, Drea, was also great. Taking the portraits was so fun and they were sure to get every shot on our shot list. A few days after the wedding, we got our sneak peek and the pictures are incredible. I’m so happy she and Drea were there to capture our special day. -

My experience with Celeste started with our first phone call. It was so much easier than any other photographer I’d spoken to at that point, I felt like I was talking to a friend on the phone, I was so at ease. Celeste helped me break down what I would need for the day (hours of photography, how many photographers, photo album) and I never felt pressured into anything I didn’t need. The questionnaire I filled out leading up to the wedding was so detailed and helpful to go over with Celeste so she knew exactly what / who was important to capture on the big day. Celeste arrived while I was getting ready and was instantly so easy to speak to and work with, she captured all the important little details early on. I felt so at ease in front of the camera, everything felt so natural & nothing was overly staged. My husband is someone who does not like having his picture taken at all in general and felt so comfortable in front of the camera. Celeste was able to get all the shots off of our shot list & captured so many special moments with myself, my husband, our son, families, and friends. Throughout the night any time I went to look for Celeste to capture a certain moment she was already there, getting it. Celeste was so on top of everything, making sure she captured every special moment. I honestly couldn’t have imagined a better experience with a photographer. Celeste was so easy to talk to, so professional, and just such a nice person, it was a pleasure to have her as part of my special day. To top it all off her work is amazing, the photos I’ve seen so far are really great and something that my husband and I will cherish for a lifetime. If you’re looking for a photographer look no further, Celeste is amazing & I can’t recommend her enough! -

Celeste was such a pleasure to plan with and spend the afternoon with. I reached out to her maybe a few weeks before our photoshoot and she was helpful, responsive, energetic from point A to Z. Keep in mind our photo shoot day was windy and freezing, the only thing that kept me and my fiance going was Celeste's fun and encouraging energy. She was SUCH a trooper being out there with us. The photos? Amazing! She listened, took stock of the inspo photos I sent and I will cherish these pictures. 10/10 will book her again. -

In short - hire Celeste!
As someone getting married in 2020, we've had plenty of ups and downs with our wedding admits the pandemic. Celeste has been a bright light in a very long tunnel of planning and replanning. Celeste has been incredibly flexible and even came to our micro-ceremony some hour away on short notice to be sure that she captured our special day. We are so in love with every photograph and really cannot wait until we are able to finally celebrate and have Celeste capture that day too! -

Celeste was recommended by a coworker after our first photographer was a no-go. She was understanding of our issues with the first photographer (lack of communication, poor response time, not terribly professional) and made sure that all of our anxieties were put to rest. At every step, she was prompt, knowledgable, professional, and incredibly warm and friendly! She put us at ease immediately and made sure we knew what the timeline was.
On top of everything, when my wedding week arrived with forecasts of solid rain, she said "don't worry, I'll take care of it — it'll be sunny" and wouldn't you know it, we had a 70º day with sun in the middle of January. Even if she hadn't somehow worked actual magic, her calm and cheer helped me calm down and focus more on getting excited.
I sincerely can't recommend her enough. She will put a smile on your face and deliver truly beautiful photographs. -

Celeste is the best!
I'm so so glad we chose Celeste as our wedding photographer! My fiancé and I were planning an NYC wedding from another state without professional help. We didn't get to met Celeste before the wedding, so it was a bit of a risk. She made the process so seamless and got all the shots we wanted, even though we were in a time crunch. She even made my fiancé feel comfortable, and he HATES having his picture taken. Everyone (friends, aunts, parents, MY FIANCE) raved about how Celeste was able to wrangle the group while also being laid back. They still mention it several months later. And when we got our pics back they were even more blown away! We made photo albums for our parents and it was so easy because all of the photos go so well together. The coloring and editing is top notch, and you can tell she individually edited each picture. People tell us they're magazine worthy (and we're not models!). We only had Celeste for 3 hours and we ended up with so many pictures to choose from. Also, Celeste is very affordable for the area. If you're looking for a wedding photog in NYC, I 10/10 recommend you use Celeste! -

We absolutely loved working with Celeste. We had her shoot both our Chinese tea ceremony, engagement photos and wedding photos, and sending that first email to her was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. She always responded promptly to our questions and concerns. During our engagement session, we got to know her and understand her style - she immediately made us comfortable and it shows in the photos. During our wedding day, we worked with her and her assistant Brittany. They were the best team! They were able to control my super large and loud family and got the most incredible photos. Celeste has this amazing calming presence that is able to control a room, which is just what we needed on our day. She was able to turn around our sneak peek from our wedding in 2 days. 2 DAYS. Unheard of! We were able to get a taste of our wedding when we went on our honeymoon. We got our entire album a month later. I don't know anyone who got their photos that quick. Don't talk to anyone else - Celeste is your girl and truly the best decision we made. -

Choosing Celeste as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. She is absolutely phenomenal at her job and was perfect for what we were looking for.
My wife and I wanted a photographer who would be able to catch candid shots of genuine moments, not just focusing on posed or family photos, and boy did Celeste deliver. We have some of the most amazing shots, not only of us, but of all of our guests having the time of their lives.
Celeste is also just a warm, energetic, and special person. We were blown away when we met her for the first time with just how genuinely happy she was to share in our special day. After meeting her we immediately felt like she was already our friend.
Celeste made my wife and I feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera where we normally feel awkward. She was able to hide in the background and get some unbelievable candid action shots and she was even able to get our two dogs to behave for the camera. To say we were happy with the service she provided would be a massive understatement.
She is simply the best, you will not find a better photographer who genuinely cares so much the way Celeste does.

My husband and I really wanted to find a photographer that could capture our personalities and provide us with natural/intimate/beautiful pictures instead of over posed photos we had seen. Thankfully we found Celeste and got everything we wished for and more!
From the first email Celeste was warm and inviting and let us ask as many questions as we had. But the ultimate best is getting to take photos with her - we had a blast at our engagement shoot chatting, walking, joking, and strolling in front of the camera. The same carried through to our wedding day - Celeste knew exactly where and when to be and when to provide us with help, but most of all we felt like we had a friend beside us all the time.
Celeste is truly incredible and we feel so lucky to have found her to capture our love together. We can't wait for the rest of our photos and hope we have another occasion soon to see her again! -

Most beautiful photos that truly captured us
Celeste was absolutely incredible! She exceeded all of our expectations. We have only seen a sneak peak of the photos from our day, but we are already so in love with them.
Choosing a photographer was one of the most important decisions for my husband and I when planning our wedding — our photos would hold our memories of that day and we wanted someone who could capture us authentically.
I searched for months for a photographer whose style and editing I loved - I wanted someone who took more candid photographs of us in genuine moments, whose editing was natural, and who could capture the emotion of our wedding day and the special moments, not only between my new husband and I, but with the people we love most. Celeste was absolutely perfect.
I was living in Canada while planning our wedding, so unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Celeste until a couple weeks before the wedding when we did our ‘engagement’ shoot, but when we met up with her, she blew us away. She was warm, funny, and made us both feel completely relaxed. Neither my husband or I are very comfortable posing for photos, so she just gave us some minor direction and captured our love in a way that felt like us. (Plus, my husband and I went to Coney Island on one of our early dates, so it’s always meant a lot to us - I floated the idea to Celeste and she was immediately excited to shoot us there, even though it was a hike and a half for her).
Throughout the planning process, I was somewhat dreading the photos on the day because I didn’t want to miss out on cocktail hour, but Celeste makes taking photos so much fun. It’s like hanging out with a friend. We received our sneak peak and they are absolutely stunning! We can’t wait for the rest of the photos.
I adore Celeste! She’s such a sweetheart and so incredibly talented.

So glad I found Celeste!
When I started planning my wedding, I knew the photographer would be the most important element for me. I wanted to remember the feeling of the event, and I wanted pictures that felt authentic and showed the real me! Celeste was recommended to me by a friend who is also a wedding photographer, and she was a joy to work with. She is so warm and nurturing and worked with our difficult schedule (we live far away from the wedding venue) to arrange an engagement shoot so we could meet in person before our wedding. She made me feel at ease from the moment I met her (I am awkward in front of cameras usually so this was a relief) and on our big day she was there every time we turned around, capturing candid moments. I'm so happy with how my pictures came out and I would recommend Celeste to anyone! -

I think I've told her she is amazing over ten times. Our experience with Celeste was excellent! She made our elopement THAT much more special. My husband and I are kind of awkward in pictures, and she noticed that right away and was able to direct us while also getting those awesome candids we love. She made us feel very comfortable and was always very professional. The pictures are stunning and more beautiful than I ever could have imagined they'd be!
100% would recommend her. We will definitely be coming back for anniversary or family shoots when we are in NYC :)

Excellent Wedding Photographer!!
Thank you Celeste for capturing our special day! I absolutely loved working with Celeste. She is sweet and professional and made the contact process easy and comfortable since day one. Our wedding was an elopement and we had 9 family members with us. Celeste made everyone feel comfortable and at ease when it was time for pictures. She did a great job capturing candids throughout the elopement ceremony. My husband and I had no idea about where to take our photos after the wedding ceremony, and Celeste was great about providing us with location options throughout the city, all of them which were Amazing! She recently sent us a sample of our shots and we are in love! We can’t wait to see all the pictures! Celeste has an amazing eye for capturing the beauty around a couple but at the same time is also great about capturing the love between them. I highly recommend Celeste for your engagement, elopement, wedding, etc. You will not be disappointed! -

I never realized just how challenging and how important it is to pick the right photographer for a wedding. After all, after the day happens, the real tangible things that you are left with are pictures. Let me tell you, Celeste takes beautiful natural pictures. In this day and age where everyone with a smart phone and a social media account think they're a photographer, you put their pictures next to Celeste, and you can distinctly see why Celeste is a professional and everyone else does instagram for a hobby.
Starting at $3000, I think she's well worth the price. She was the 2nd most expensive thing for our wedding (the 1st of course being the venue), and I think that we were right to prioritize photography. I do not regret it.

Elopement photography
We eloped in New York from the UK, and Celeste was our amazing wedding photographer! I initially found her work from instagram, and was blown away with the natural, "in the moment" photos displayed.
Celeste was so quick to respond to our email queries and provided great advice on locations for pictures in New York City, how the day would run and guided us through the actual day once the nerves and emotions kicked in! On the day itself I was disheartened that it was raining constantly, but Celeste was our cheerleader and was continually raising our spirits- reflected in the great pictures she took. Saying goodbye to her at the end of the day felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend.
We are so happy that we chose Celeste to be our wedding photographer! -

Simply Wonderful
I honestly don’t know how to encapsulate just how perfect Celeste made our day. From the very beginning, when I was emailing in NC and she was in NY, I felt like we were friends. She allowed me to share my whole vision and helped me craft it with insightful questions and knowledgeable advice about the area and what would be best for our photos. By the time our wedding finally arrived I was as excited to meet her as I was for the photos! She helped guide us through our City’s clerks office wedding and ensured that our our photos felt like a fun and organic part of the day. And most importantly our photos were AMAZING. She was a perfect addition to our laid-back wedding day, able to create a new plan when a surprise gardenscape became available or stand in the middle of a NYC street for the perfect photo. Her staff (Alberto and Pam) were beyond kind, attentive, and professional. Celeste provided us a one-hour complimentary engagement photoshoot. Originally, it was not something we had planned on doing, but we are so happy that we did. We love having professional photos of us together in a more casual setting, and with our pup! We thank our stars that my husband found Celeste just 3 months before the wedding. She is incredibly talented and just a very pleasant person, someone you might want to have around for your big day. Celeste and her team were a joy to work with and genuinely exceeded our expectations. The experience felt easy, professional, and incredibly personal. As two people who do not enjoy being in front of the camera, my husband and I were surprised by how comfortable and relaxed Celeste made us feel. She struck a balance between giving us control over what we wanted and offering thoughtful guidance when we weren’t sure what would photograph best. She suggested poses and locations, but always listened and adjusted if something didn’t feel right.
She delivered both the preview and full gallery according to the communicated timeline. As a bride juggling so many moving parts, it was a relief to know that photos were something I never had to worry about. Celeste’s kindness and reliability allowed us to be fully present and trusting that our memories were in the best hands. She and her team captured the moments of our wedding and we LOVED how the photos came out.
