Shari was fantastic! We have two pups that were wild at first and she was great as they sniffed her. Was easy and got to have the ceremony our way.
Ceremony at our home with our pups was exactly what we wanted. Shari was great with the pups and wrote wonderful vows that got us teary eyed.

She provided large variations of wording options and ways to customize our ceremony to best fit our needs in advance (ie. including religious, non-religious wording options, different cultural special ceremonies, including children and/or parents in ceremony). A great experience!
We honestly didn't know what to expect as everything was arranged virtually. However, Shari did an excellent job communicating with us up to the Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding. Once we met in person, Shari immediately put us at ease, and took a lot of stress out of the day, which really helped us focus on what mattered. Shari is a true professional, answered all of our questions, and performed a beautiful ceremony. She took care of our license filing, provided us with a nice booklet with the ceremony transcript, including our vows, as well as provided a checklist for name changes. Highly recommend!

The best Officiant for the best day!
Working with Shari as our Officiant was better than I could have imagined. We had a large bridal party and the guys needed a little help - actually a lot of help. Shari was up to the task! She whipped them into shape, easily. The many options she offers for ceremony services and help with wording are amazing. My photographer and videographer were so impressed that she stepped out of the picture often so they could also do their best work. Our day wouldn't have gone as scheduled if it wasn't for her!

Best Officiant in Northeast Ohio!
We had seen Shari officiate at a family member's wedding before we were engaged and knew she was the one we eventually wanted at our wedding! She is kind, welcoming, and professional. From the start, Shari was the most friendly vendor we worked with during our wedding planning. Shari was happy to meet us before booking with her, and made us feel extremely comfortable about the whole ceremony process. During this meet, Shari was happy to answer all of our questions, even if they pertained to an area outside of her services. After our initial meeting, Shari kept in communication with us, answering any questions that came up during our planning phase. She also provided us with multiple wordings for each part of the ceremony that we were able to change and use if we didn't want to write our own. The wordings she helped us create for our ceremony were absolutely beautiful and made us even more excited about our big day. For rehearsal, Shari was the BIGGEST help. Where our ceremony director made us feel rushed and unwanted, Shari made sure to take her time with us to make us feel prepared and comfortable. On wedding day, Shari arrived early and even helped the groomsmen with their boutonnieres and suit jackets, making sure everything was absolutely perfect. Throughout the whole ceremony, Shari was clear and emotional in her speaking, making the ceremony feel even more intimate. When we looked back at wedding photos that she was in, Shari always had a huge smile on her face in everything she did. Overall, Shari was much more than an officiant. Each interaction we had, she was so kind and willing to help. It truly felt like she was there to support us as a couple in every process and question. Looking back, Shari was one of the BEST decisions we made pertaining to our wedding day.

Perfect Day!
Like so many couples, my husband and I had our 2020 wedding impacted by COVID. We were originally supposed to get married in Yosemite, but a few months before the wedding, we made the difficult decision to move everything to Ohio so our families wouldn't have to travel. We were able to find Shari to officiate via Weddingwire, and we couldn't be happier with that choice. Before the wedding, she made everything super simple by giving us a lot of choice in the ceremony wording, while also providing us with a lot of guidance. On the day of the wedding, we were both a little nervous, but Shari's professionalism calmed us down and the wedding was perfect! I would highly recommend her to any couple!

I can't say enough about Shari. If there were 6 stars, I'd still want to give her 7.
Over the last year I meticulously planned my reception, and admittedly neglected the ceremony. Other than the order of the bridal party, the songs, and the wording, I hadn't given it much thought. How does my mom, who was walking me down the aisle give me to the groom? when do I pass my flowers? Who escorts the mother of groom, grandmother of groom down aisle and when? Shari came prepared with answers for EVERYTHING and made sure we knew EXACTLY where to go and where to be. After the rehearsal, ALL nerves were gone.
I didn't have the opportunity to meet Shari before booking her. I think she's a little pricier than others....Trust me...its WORTH it. I went with her because the others reviews were amazing and we didn't have time to get to Cleveland (I was an out of town bride) before having to make a decision.
Shari immediately sent us a TON of choices for wording. We picked some of hers, combined a couple things in different sections, and in 1 section, came up with our own, and she came fully prepared! Once we sent her our final wording, she sent it back within a day so we could see exactly how it would read.
She was also very responsive when we had questions and was very patient with everything.
When she arrived at the rehearsal she immediately helped get things moving along. She was punctual, so friendly, and is genuinely happy for her couples.

Brian was our officiant. A total professional from our first phone call to our last handshake. Full and open communication; accommodating with our rehearsal time; patient throughout the rehearsal; walked us through every little detail; worked well with the site director, planner, photographer, and wedding party; assisted us with the legal/bureaucratic aspects of the marriage; and conducted the ceremony flawlessly. Shari is an amazing officiant!
Shari is great to work with! She is very helpful throughout the whole process & is sure to make your wedding special. She sent us ceremony wording options to chose from & we were able to choose the wording options that we liked best. We had her officiate our small, intimate ceremony in my parents backyard, to make our marriage legal in the US before getting married in Mexico. We did not have a rehearsal, but when Shari arrived at our home, she made an instant connection with us & our guests. Shari did an amazing job officiating our ceremony (even with our dog walking around us at the beginning haha) & Shari never skipped a beat! All of our guests commented on how lovely our ceremony was too. It was short but meaningful, and exactly what we were looking for! After the ceremony, Shari followed up promptly with mailing our marriage certificate and instructions on how to change my name. We 100% recommend Shari as an officiant for your wedding ceremony! Shari helped make our day really special!
I'm thankful we found and chose Shari to officiate our ceremony. We had a small intimate wedding in our home. Shari helped us form our ceremony script by offering several examples and ideas. She responded quickly and was able to chat on the phone to answer my questions (and ease my stress). She arrived at our home early and ready to guide the ceremony. Shari is a lovely person and I would recommend her to any couple.

Shari did an amazing job officiating our wedding. She was so responsive throughout our planning process and crafted a ceremony that fit us so well. She made our rehearsal go by so smoothly and at our ceremony, we felt confident because everyone knew exactly what to do. I couldn't recommend Shari more. We had an absolutely beautiful ceremony. Working with Shari made the ceremony planning so easy. She sends you an organized worksheet with many wording options for every element of the ceremony and puts it all together for you. Treated like more than a client
Shari made my wife and me feel like much more than a temporary client. We could tell upon first meeting her that she truly cares about your day and making it special. She provided an entire playbook of options for the ceremony and verbiage including her attire. On the rehearsal day, she had answered for all of our questions including silly concerns. She was promptly on time to the rehearsal and the big day and helped calm nerves and concerns throughout the entire process.
She made our day absolutely perfect.

Absolutely Perfect
We were looking for a non denominational officiant, but still wanted something that had a spiritual feel. Shari gave us several options for each part of the ceremony and we were able to put together something perfect for us. Our wedding was small, so we opted for the Intimate Ceremony Package (she has all the packages laid out very professionally), and Shari was always quick to respond to emails and reached out several days before the wedding to review everything and make sure we were good with the wording. The best thing was when Shari arrived, I felt like I was greeting an old friend. She has a warmth and genuine way about her that immediately make you feel comfortable. The ceremony was perfect and we are so pleased Shari was a part of making that happen. Two thumbs up!

Shari was so great to work with. She also helped out with our rehearsal and kept things moving smoothly. If we forgot what to do during the ceremony, she discretely whispered a reminder to us. It kept us from getting too nervous because she had our backs the whole time. She provided many wording options to work with that I was able to customize to fit our ceremony. Shari was fantastic and make the ceremony process super easy. We live about 3 hours away from where we got married, so I did most of my planning online and by making as many small trips as I could. I contacted a few companies, and Shari was by far the most responsive. She was super flexible in meeting with us. Once we met her, I knew we made a great choice. We had no idea where to even start with the wording, and she was able to give us a lot of examples and great ideas to customize everything until we were happy with the final result. We had her assist with our rehearsal and she made everyone feel very comfortable and ready for the big day. The ceremony itself went great. Shari also gave me a folder of our wording for a keepsake. I would highly recommend Shari!!

I originally saw Shari officiate my sister’s wedding and I knew right there that I wanted her to do mine also! Shari was so quick to respond to my emails with all my questions. I loved how I was able to customize the wording for my ceremony and make it more personal to my fiancé and I. When Kevin and I decided we wanted a unique and meaningful ceremony we knew we needed to find an experienced officiant that would be able to offer us ideas and guidance. After the first meeting with Shari we knew we found the right person. Her sweet and bubbly personality and her willingness to help us create our perfect ceremony was exactly what we were looking for. Immediately after signing a contract Shari sent us page after page of wording options and ideas. It was a little overwhelming but it gave us plenty of opportunities to make selections and tweak it to truly make it our own. Shari met with us to make sure that every detail was discussed and she had a good idea of how we envisioned our ceremony. Shari did an amazing job with our wedding ceremony. We could not have asked for our wedding to turn out better. Shari was on the top of her game as soon as she arrived at our rehearsal. Even though she had not performed a ceremony at our venue before, after a very brief exchange with our venue coordinator, Shari was able to put our wedding party in correct places and being our walk-through. The day of Shari arrived early and was ready to go. She did an absolute amazing job with delivery of the ceremony we picked out. We were initially hesitant on paying for an officiant, and after going back and forth, we decided it was the best direction for us to go in. I am so glad we made that decision. The professionalism provided by Shari throughout the whole process was more than we could have asked for. Highly recommend.

Beyond my expectations! We wanted a small intimate backyard ceremony and Shari delivered. My guests talked about the ceremony and I have already had two people ask for contact information for their upcoming weddings. My now mother inlaw, thought it would a quick I do and is still talking about how nice the ceremony was and how the wording made it feel extra special.

Shari married my husband and I, on a whim when another officiant backed out. My sister called her (because I was in hysterics and had no idea what we were going to do!). Shari instantly reassured us that she could help us and not to worry. Even just talking through email and texts, I felt like I was talking to someone I personally knew! She was so awesome to work with for every step. We had a unique procession and wanted to include a sand ceremony, and she made everything flow smooth and it looked perfect. What can we say except "We love Shari Caruso!" After almost 18 years together my partner and I got married this summer and it was more wonderful than we could have imagined. Shari made sure the ceremony was exactly as we wanted, and while it was non-traditional in every sense of the word, it was heartfelt and beautiful. Even though we knew Shari personally prior to her officiating our ceremony, she truly cares for all her clients and wants everyone's wedding day to be memorable. Believe me when I say that if you choose Shari you will not be disappointed.

We contacted Shari after searches and also finding out a collegue used her. Shari wasn't available for our day but instead had a few other officiants she works with that were available. We chose Brian to perform our ceremony however Shari stayed involved, including looking over the wording for the ceremony. Brian worked seamlessly with the wedding coordinator for our venue, was professional, and he consistently made sure to ask everyone in the wedding party if there were any questions. He (and Shari) were responsive throughout the process, available for whatever questions we had and also patient with us as we drug our feet finalizing details. Brian and Celebrations by Shari absolutely contributed to a perfect day for us and we would highly reccomend them to anyone!

She made our ceremony perfect! She was so kind, well spoken, and just a warm and enthusiastic person. Everyone kept asking me after the ceremony where I found such an amazing individual to be our wedding officiant & I hope this review will help future couples make a great decision & use Shari for the big day!! She was very flexible, punctual, super fast with responding to my bazillion questions, and made the entire process of planning the ceremony a piece of cake. Shari is a wonderful person, first and foremost, and an excellent officiant. She was extremely sensitive to our needs, our rookie status of not knowing what we were doing, and our nerves - she answered all of our questions, sometimes twice, and calmed our nerves, and was very communicative throughout the process. Her ceremony was done at a great pace, allowing everyone enough time to savor the moment - she was calm, assured, well-spoken, creative, and assuring. We would not hesitate to recommend Shari to anyone in the market for an officiant and we would in fact hope that they stop here after reading this review and book her. We do not imagine anyone exceeding her service and product. She is forever a part of the wonderful memories of what turned out to be an absolutely perfect weekend. Couldn't have done it without her.

We love Shari, and we absolutely adore her daughter, Kristen! Shari had a last minute conflict, and Kristen officiated our wedding on July 9, 2016. We could not have asked for a more beautiful ceremony! Kristen was so in tune with what Kevin (groom) and the guys needed help with! She even helped them put there boutonnieres on!!! Kristen made it a truly wonderful, easy process!

Shari was great to work with from the start. she was always very responsive and open to any questions. We emailed a lot during our process. I didn't get the pleasure to meet her due to being chosen to go on a mission trip (which I thought was awesome). Shari asked was it ok if she found another officiant within her group. I told her of course this was a great opportunity for her to go on this mission trip and I wouldn't let her miss it for the world. She blessed us with Andrae Hampton who was great through the last month of the process. He helped us with rehearsal, along with ceremony set up of chairs due to having an outdoor ceremony. If you want a fantastic company please hire celebrations by Shari.

Shari was great! She was flexible with us for the type of ceremony we wanted and how many people we were going to have, since it didn't exactly fit into a specific category. Since it was a small ceremony with no bridal party, we opted not to do a rehearsal; Shari arrived early to quickly walk each of us through the process and see if we had any last minute questions. She offers very flexible wording options and lots of choices to make the ceremony just right for you!

My suggestion is talk to Shari in person from the start and she will win you over. We love the calmness & happiness she creates and any nervousness floated away. We feel blessed to have found her for our outdoor winery wedding.

Once we talked to Shari, we knew we had found the person we wanted to marry us. She had the right personality for us, was extremely professional and accommodating, and sent us wording choice options that were better than any ones we could have thought of ourselves. She also was very flexible and allowed us to customize our ceremony the way we wanted. Her price was reasonable and she made sure that we reviewed and approved the wedding content, price, and wording in advance to make sure there were no misunderstandings. The day of our wedding she arrived promptly and made everyone feel at ease immediately. She took care of everything and even followed up by sending me information about how to change my name legally. We cannot say enough good things about Shari - she was perfect and we would highly recommend her to anyone considering getting married!

I cannot say enough good things about Shari and her impeccable service. She was so easy to work with, always responded quickly, and made our wedding ceremony very special and tailored for us. Many of our guests even asked us how long we have known Shari! They thought she must be a family friend since the ceremony seemed so personal. Along with being a wonderful officiant, Shari is an amazingly sweet and kind person which made working with her even more special and stress-free. It was important to us that our ceremony be very thoughtful. Shari encouraged us to write our own vows and we are so happy that we did (although she gives plenty of wording options for vows if you choose not to write your own!). All I can say is that if Shari is available on your wedding date don't hesitate to book, you will be in good hands! Thanks Shari!

I cannot say enough good things about Shari. She was the perfect officiant for our big day. Sweet, well spoken, and loving. It's exactly what we wanted. She was so helpful leading up to our wedding, and would always email me back within hours. Her book of ceremony wording options was a lifesaver.
Everyone complimented how personal our ceremony was, and Shari hugged me a bunch of times that day. It makes us feel so great to have someone that was so personal and we feel like we could be friends with for years. Our bridal party gave us several compliments of how sweet she was.

We had thought for months we were going to have a family member get ordained and perform the ceremony and then about 2 months before it all fell through. I found Shari online and she responded to me immediately. She was booked for our day but set us up with her associate Brian Gibbons. Shari still handled all the correspondence until the day of. She sent us probably over 100 choices of wordings to pick and choose from and we ended up with a very personalized ceremony. Brian came to our rehearsal and was very easygoing. He looked and sounded very professional at our ceremony and we received a lot of compliments on it. Having only met Brian the day before, I felt very comfortable with him performing our ceremony. I feel very lucky that he was available so last minute. I felt the price was reasonable even with a small travel fee and fee to attend the rehearsal. He filed all of our paperwork for us.

When looking for an officiant for a Lesbian wedding, we were a little concerned about finding the right fit. Our first meeting with Shari COMPLETELY erased any worries I had. I didn't realize how important a good officiant was until we met with her and I felt totally at ease. Not only is she an awesome person, she had SOOO many options for us to choose from. Words cannot express how pleased we were with the ceremony created by Shari. From the beginning, Shari made sure we were comfortable and pleased with our ceremony selections. She even gave us a great idea for our unity ceremony. We felt like our ceremony was so unique and fitting for our relationship. Guests continually commented on how beautiful our ceremony was. I feel like our word choices made our day so special. Shari provides so many options, that it was very hard to choose! Shari is always there for you if you have a question. I appreciated how quick she was to respond to any of my questions. Shari also was so professional at our rehearsal and ceremony. Shari was very helpful when I needed to change my name.
