First off, Jeri is a bright light in the bridal world. She immediately makes you feel special and important. It feels like you've known her for years and is so easy to talk to. Absolutely amazing!

We hired Jeri with Celebrations by Design for both our wedding coordination needs and florals. Jeri was absolutely amazing to work with! She was always available to ask questions and was very knowledgeable about our different vendors, food choices, and even asking her advice on general wedding etiquette. Jeri helped us through the entire process and made us feel at ease. She also coordinated with all of our different vendors and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The florals were exactly what we asked for and they looked beautiful the day of. We got quotes from several florist, and Jerri’s price was extremely competitive, so we knew we had to go with her. I know she was working her butt off behind the scenes during the wedding, but each time I saw her she had on a smile, and was a very calming presence. You could tell she was truly excited for us to get married that day, and we ended up having such a blast at our wedding. Thank you, Jeri, for all of your help through the process. Highly recommend!

Dreams Do Come True!

My husband and I changed our date and venue multiple times and we were overwhelmed with trying to plan our wedding by ourselves. We had no idea how many factors are involved with a wedding. There’s a reason why wedding planners are needed!

Three months prior to our final date, we had no plans and we were tempted to do a courthouse wedding. Boring!

Jeri heard our frustration and she quickly helped us settle on a venue at a price we can afford. She took care of every little detail and nothing was missed. She meticulously kept us on track and she was always available to help us. She was kind, caring, and quick with her work. I felt like I was her only client (I wasn’t, but she’s that good).

She only had 90 days to create and organize our wedding, Most people have one year to work on their weddings for comparison.

Jeri took the stress away from us and she created a dream wedding. I felt taken care of from start to finish. No detail or due date was missed.

Flawless, meticulous, curated, and professional VIP service is what you can expect from Jeri. She takes the worry out of weddings!!! Highly recommend!!

Super helpful for wedding planning

We met Jeri at a Stillwell House open house. She is friendly and has great energy. Jeri helped us plan several details we had not considered on our own. She has so much experience and unique ideas. Jeri, really is the best! It is easy to become overwhelmed planning your wedding but hiring Jeri, to help you run your wedding will help you relax and enjoy your day! Jeri coordinated all of our vendor's arrival times and set up, helped build our timeline, helped us plan our venue set up / seating chart, took care of setting up and breaking down our venue, ran our rehersal and so much more. There was not a single thing we worried about on our wedding day because Jeri, was there to make sure everything was cared for! She is great with communication, has a vast network of vendors to recommend to you, and is an experienced professional. I would highly recommend investing in a wedding planner/ coordinator and Jeri is really the best for the job.

Day of coordination

To say our wedding wouldn't have happened without Jeri is an understatement. She managed us through a pandemic without missing a beat. But, beyond that Jeri's motto during the wedding planning process was "no stress" and she meant it. Truly one of the most stress free days of our lives. She really allowed us to be ourselves, as casual and untraditional as that may have been, and saw our vision and executed it with perfection. It's obvious Jeri loves her job and she's been doing it for so long she intimately knows how weddings go and is prepared for anything that may come up. She was able to help us for our rehearsal even though she had a party at the same time which really speaks to her professionalism and dedication. On the actual wedding day she made sure we were having a great time, helped manage the bridal party and other vendors, guests, any issues that came up and made sure that none of it got back to us, stress free! All of this and the fact the Jeri is a hoot to be around, our guests are still talking about how fun she was at the wedding.

Absolutely amazing

There’s not enough words to express how amazing Jeri service’s are, because she just doesn’t become your wedding planner she becomes your friend. I thought like most new brides to be that I can plan my own wedding.
Was I wrong after trying to find the the perfect venue I was so overwhelmed about all the extra things I need to get done. That’s when I decided to hire a wedding planner. I have been honored to have Jeri as my wedding planner twice. Unfortunately life happens and after 15 years with 3 beautiful children my husband passed away. Never during my time with David did I think I would ever get married again. After 5 years of my husband passing I was blessed to meet my Mr. McKenna. So once he popped the question I know with no doubt in my mind that I would be calling Jeri again. The most Beautiful part of this change in my life is that I get to have my children with me this time. Not only was Jari my planner, but a friend to our new blended family who got to share memories with my children about my first wedding with their Dad. Jeri is professional, kind, understanding, and will make your day amazing. Jari make it work with what she has. She definitely makes everything come together without any worries on your part. The most magical experience

Jeri is Amazing

We hired Jeri as our "day of" coordinator and I can't imagine a better experience. We had spent a lot of time planning and Jeri immediately noticed areas we'd missed and made very thoughtful suggestions about how to proceed. During the wedding, she had every detail well in hand, so my bride and I didn't even think once about how the it was going and we were able to just relax and enjoy it. Afterward, we noticed so many nice little touches Jeri made in our decorations, etc, while looking at our pictures/videos. Many of our guests commented on how attentive Jeri is and how she was always making sure everyone had what they needed. Her experience with planning made our night perfect and magical and we are eternally grateful.

Great Experience!

We had only 8 weeks to plan our wedding. I don't live in Tucson so didn't know any vendors. Jeri had recommendations for every service we needed. She executed flawlessly on every "to-do". She had creative ideas to make our event personal and special. And she handled every detail from the wedding ceremony through the reception. Perfect for Planning Out Of State

Jeri was wonderful. We were planning our Tucson wedding from the Midwest and I don’t think we could have done it on our own. Jeri always got back to us quickly and made sure that our vision was her vision. Another thing I really valued was the comfort of knowing that if something went wrong, Jeri could fix it, because she honestly knows EVERYONE in Tucson. We made a lot of changes towards the end (literally added a dance floor the day before) and Jeri made all those changes really seamlessly. She has a great attitude, and for the week of our wedding, I didn’t have to double check a thing. She was on top of it.

The Best of the Best

What can we say about Jeri? I don' think there are enough positive words in the English language to summarize our experience.
Never more than a phone call or a text away Jeri was always there to answer any questions we had as well as relieve all the anxiety that was brewing. She helped us pull together an incredible night in less than 2 months. Her experience really came into play on all the little decisions that no one thinks about until its too late.
Our favorite part about Jeri is the attitude she has during the entire process. She is an anxiety defusing machine. Everything is done with smile, she is incredible at putting things in perspective. If she was able to make us happy she will make anyone happy.

Fantastic worry free experience with Jeri

We starting planning for our December 1st wedding in June. Because we were out of town for the summer, Jeri got the ball rolling for us. She gave us all the contacts and timelines we needed. When we met in September it was a delight. She was organized, confident, supportive and FUN. She is a take charge person and there were no worries for us as the wedding was at our home. My husband and I are so glad we found Jeri in our wedding planning process - after meeting for the first time with her, we felt immediately relieved regarding the entire process. In comparison with other wedding planner her rates were very affordable and reasonable, and we ended up getting exactly what we needed - someone to help plan the rest of the wedding (after we had already done some preliminary planning) and to be there the day-of to make sure everything goes smoothly. Jeri has been planning weddings in Tucson AZ for years - she is one of the most experienced wedding planners in the city - and she knows everybody! That made it really easy to make decisions about photographers, DJs, other vendors with her recommendations. She was always flexible and never pushed us to make the wedding a certain way, but had suggestions based on her expertise that were always helpful. She even went above an beyond and helped our parents plan a Sunday brunch and offered suggestions for the rehearsal dinner. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and it was stress free for us! Best of all, Jeri is an amazing, warm person who is fun and full of energy and we are so glad she was part of our big day.

What a way to bring in 70. Jerry quickly realized that I needed a coordinator not necessarily A party planner. She is one amazing person everything I asked her to do, every question, and every suggestion was dealt with quickly and respect fully and when she thought something was just not right she would tell me so. It is so refreshing to find an honest person who sincerely want your party to be spectacle . The night of my party was so chaotic I don’t think I could’ve handled it myself and I am an experienced party giver. Without Jerry I don’t think the party would’ve had the panache and the organization that she brought to this event. I would recommend Jeri in a heartbeat. She is the best. Ok so already you are wondering about a 5 star rating on everything.... really? Indeed! This was not our first time to the rodeo so we knew what we wanted and what we did not. We wanted an intimate home wedding with close family and friends, live Bluegrass music and spectacular food. However we had recently moved to Tucson from the East Coast and really did not know where to turn except for the musicians until we met Jeri. Sure we could have taken it upon ourselves to find a caterer, a place to rent tables, chairs and settings etc. but frankly hiring Jeri not only saved countless hours and likely dollars too she truly made it enjoyable. Jeri was well organized and prepared and certainly knowledgeable about every aspect of running a successful affair. Please do not take that to mean that we rolled over and agreed on everything. Sure we had differences and Jeri was certainly very accommodating however when she felt strongly about something we listened and stuck with the professionals advice. Aside from the big details that I will mention next it is truly the small stuff that makes a huge difference particularly when you decided to have a wedding in your home. Jeri managed deliveries, pickups and countless other details so we had very little concern except to be there for each other and our guests. Big stuff: She was sensitive to adhering to our budget, recommended Cafe Al A Carte...Mark and chefs just amazing, custom cupcake baker for dessert, a different twist and super creative with making all the beautiful centerpieces. Her staff was two servers and a bartender who were truly professional and always there at every turn. When it started to rain during our indoor/outdoor wedding Jeri took control of the band and guests seemlessly and made the necessary adjustments to the inside floor plan on the fly. BTW, our house was as clean if not cleaner than before the wedding started! Jeri is punctual, friendly, bubbly & always ready for a good laugh!

Jeri! Jeri was everything we needed and everything I wanted! I am so glad I found her. To put it plainly, I am not a planner it is a skill that I need to exercise more. Throwing a wedding was not something I was looking forward to. I was looking forward to being my husband's wife. When Jeri and I met, I instantly knew planning Curtis' and my wedding would be more fun then work. Which was a shock for me. I also knew my husband (now!!) would click with Jeri. Which was a huge deal for me. Jeri was with us every step of the way. I could call her and freak out and what she told me was what I needed to hear. "You don't need to worry about any of that. Leave it to me." I can not tell you how many times Jeri had my back and my husband's back. He could call her and she would answer any of his questions. She was always there without question. We love you Jeri!

Jeri not only saved us mentally (haha) when it came to planning your our wedding but she also saved us money!!! And not just a couple hundred. We made it very apparent to Jeri we didn't want to break the bank and Jeri not only listened, she heard us and made a point to keep us below our budget! Thank you Jeri!!!

Jeri started out as a business partner and by the end of our journey (that she so willingly jumped aboard) has now become part of our family. We love you Jeri! And thank you for everything you did and everything you are!

Jeri is the a must have for any event, or party you can dream of. I am a mother and a business owner and I was also working a full time day job so I had very little time to plan my daughter first birthday party. When I suggested a theme, Jeri personally came to my house with pictures of all the ideas . I could not believe the amount of time she invested for me to have simply a vision before we even agreed to work together and without her being paid. I knew that someone like that was going to get the job done and make it very special. On the day of the party she arrived early with everything organized and ready to be placed all around the house. People were so shocked at how impressive the decor and personal touches were! And I bet they thought it cost me a fortune but.. It didn't!!!! So definitely don't stress yourself out when you use someone like Jeri!

Jeri is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with! In the beginning she showed she was willing to go above and beyond in helping me plan all of the details of my wedding. My mom and I were not the easiest people to deal with because we had differences in opinion but Jeri was like a magician and managed to accommodate both of our tastes. I will never forget that she even texted me on the day of my wedding to see how I was doing and offered to go with me to my dress fitting, totally not even included in the wedding package ...but those are the small details that really showed she cared. If we can rate Jeri more than a 5.0 we would! She was simply amazing! So great that our 7 year old offered her his allowance money for doing such a great job. Jeri Fitzgerald is an amazing event planner! She planned ababy shower at my home for a new grand baby. She brought great ideas for food and decorations to my houseand we chose them together jeri went shopping for both together and Aldo made many of the decorations and food herself. She spent many hours the day before decorating and early the day of setting up. Jeri helped with shower games and clean up. The baby shower was a huge success thanks to Jeri!

Jeri was a true pleasure to work with. We both work full time and wanted to give our daughter a beautiful wedding. Hiring Jeri, was the best decision I made for the wedding. What more can I say.....I absolutely loved, loved, loved working with Jeri, she is fabulous! I really felt like we clicked from the very first meeting, she totally got my vision and seemed genuinely excited about helping me bring it to fruition. Her knowledge and experience was invaluable, she helped me narrow down vendors and ask questions I never would have known to ask on my own, the little details you don't think of, even though you think you've thought of everything, trust me you havent! The day of the wedding and the rehearsal went so smoothly, I can with all honesty say I wasnt worried or stressed out AT ALL, I had complete trust in her, and knew she would do whatever it took to get things done. She was so organized and communicated with all the vendors sending out timeliness etc. I am an interior designer and didnt really feel like I needed a wedding planner since I layout spaces and put color schemes together for a living but I am so glad I decided to use her, well worth every penny!

We held a 40 year reunion and Jeri took us through everything we needed in order to have a great event. She was involved with everything from planning the location and food to creating a website for us to share information about our reunion, sell tickets and collect money. She took care of the decorations, DJ and practically everything else for our 2 day event.

Before, during planning, she was great about meeting with me at various vendors or just the two of us to discuss planning and details. She has tons of great ideas that can make everything special and not break the bank. She has great checklists and other organizational tools that will make a bride's life much easier. She also has a great design eye. My daughter's wedding event took place over the weekend before the Christmas Holiday, so as imagined, we could not do this alone. When we met Jeri, we knew we had met the right person to step in and help us get everything accomplished. We had about 150 guests, and because Jeri and her staff took care of details, I was free to visit with all of them through the night.
Jeri was instrumental in helping us turn the hotel into first a wedding chapel and then into a great reception/dance hall. She took care of dealing with all of the vendors at set up, clean up and pick up. Our events had some hitches that she confidently took care of and our family and guests had a TERRIFIC weekend and still had energy to enjoy the holidays later that week.
We HIGHLY recommend Jeri, her crew at Celebrations by Design and the vendors she assisted in contracting for our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding, wedding reception and weekend brunch. She assisted GREATLY with all aspects of the planning and execution of our weekend of activities and allowed our large family to have extra time together with much less stress.
She was available by phone and in person as needed, has an established rapport with vendors throughout Tucson, and services were priced so that we only had to pay for what we needed. We would definitely use her service again!

Jeri of Celebrations by Design was extraordinarily helpful in so many ways! She listened to our vision and ideas and augmented them with suggestions that made a big difference to the overall outcome of the event. She responded promptly and was felxible when we had to make changes. She did all of the table decorations herself. They were perfect and just what we had in mind. It would not have been the same without her expertise. She recommended the cake vendors and the florists for us to visit and choose from. We were impressed with them all and very happy with the ones we chose She also recommended the mariachis and the linen rental. It was perfect in every way. Jeri met with us a number of times over the course of planning and arranging for the event. We had to have a few extra meetings because of our venue. She made sure she attended them all so she knew and had direct contact with what was going on. On the day of the wedding she handled all of the arrangements and the order of things. She kept us moving and on time. She stayed late afterwards to put away the table centerpieces and make sure all the materials were accounted for and back where they belonged. She was friendly cheerful and helpful at all times.

Our experience with Celebrations by Design was exactly what we needed to make our wedding memorable and beautiful. We found Celebrations by Design online and later in our planning when we realized we needed day-of help with setup and design of flowers and decorations. Although Jeri is very creative and flexible to create a variety of tastes and styles, she was able to tune into our theme precisely and helped us to hone our many ideas into a cohesive and beautiful final product.

We had an eco-chic rustic/natural theme and Jeri immediately picked up on the look that we were trying to achieve, the eco-friendly concept, and was able to keep everything within our limited budget. She offered really great advice for making our concepts work, without putting down or nay-saying our quirky tastes (many wedding vendors can be annoying or opinionated, in a bad way). Jeri was the exact opposite. She went above and beyond to research how to make our details work, and even brought in and borrowed props to make everything look perfect.

She is professional and affordable, as well as punctual and an absolute treat to work with! Her enthusiasm and flexibility helped make our wedding a truly special event for the guests while making it less stressful for us. She also got us a good deal on flowers and her arrangements were beautiful. Even if you are incredibly organized, you will be surprised how crazy wedding planning and decorating will get as the day approaches. Do yourself a favor and check her out—you will have a much more relaxing wedding day with a trustworthy decorator! Everything about working with Jeri was professional and easy. The buffet looked beautiful and we did not have to coordinate a thing. Jeri was such a delight to work with. With a procrastinator like me, it was essential that I work with someone who could nudge me along into getting things done in a timely manner. Jeri was just that person! In addition, she also worked with my daughter and her fiance and my husband. We had a complicated wedding event, with many visitors from abroad, and Jeri was able to coordinate everything with other vendors, greet our guests at the airport, and smiled the whole time!

The wedding went off without a hitch (as far as I was concerned) and if there were any glitches, I never knew about them. Everyone had a great time and I was stress-free the whole time. At the beginning of the whole planning process, I told my daughter and Jeri that I wanted us all to have a good time and with Jeri's direction and assistance, our mission was accomplished.

Jeri was such a pleasure to work with! In addition to giving us guidance before the wedding, she handled all of the (millions of) details on the day of the wedding so that my husband and I could focus on spending time with family and friends. Without her, I know I would have been stressed about whether the vendors were arriving on time, if things were being set up the way they were supposed to, etc. Knowing that Jeri was there to manage everything allowed me to totally relax and enjoy the day! Everything turned out PERFECTLY thanks to her. My family and friends even commented on how great she and her staff were-- I mean, how many weddings do you go to where your friends are commenting on nice the staff is?! I don't plan to get married again, but if I did, rehiring Jeri would be my first step!!!

The best investment we made for our wedding!

Jeri was wonderful from the moment we met, to the actual wedding day!! Always guiding us and reassuring us when something was less than perfect. Jeri was always making my now husband and I feel special.

One always wants to work with a person who enjoys doing their job, and Jeri loves weddings and she will make your big day a special one!

Jeri made us feel like our wedding details really mattered to her. She worked very hard to make it all come together, and we felt that she wasn't satisfied until we were completely happy with every detail. Although we were out of state during much of the planning, she was always just a phone call away, and she did everything she could to assure us that things were going to be fine.
Our special day was just PERFECT, and we owe it all to Jeri, and her very special personal attention to our every need.

Hiring Jeri was the best decision I made in preparing for my wedding. She was truly a God-send. I was planning my wedding long-distance and she was always willing to call and email when I was out of town and meet when I was in town. She offered great suggestions for things that helped keep our wedding affordable but beautiful. She also provided us with great referrals for some of our vendors. She was professional and friendly and was able to work with every one of our vendors to create a smooth event the day of our wedding. My husband and I are beyond grateful for all that she did and we would recommend her services to anyone who is wanting a stress free wedding day that you can enjoy. Jeri is awesome!!!

Jeri helped us plan for 14 months. I’m currently in law school and was a 2L (w/a part-time job) during the bulk of planning. Also, my husband was working and had started an evening graduate program halfway through our engagement--we were busy. We decided to go with a reception area (Museum of Art) that let us bring in all of our own vendors, so, we knew we needed a coordinator. We did the all-inclusive package because we knew we’d need the help. Honestly (hate to say), being type-A personality, I thought a lot of what she was doing early on in planning could have been done by me. The timeline she gave us was so helpful and laid everything out, but I thought I could have gotten this online w/o paying for her services. I even thought that I’d have been able to plan the linen and rentals by myself. But, what I didn't realize was the amount of work she did "behind-the-scenes." She got in contact with all of the vendors, figured out timelines and gave it to everyone, and helped decorate everything. Jeri really made everything worth it the week and day of the wedding. I felt like I didn't need to do anything--everything had already been planned out. Even though I didn't give her enough direction for decorations, she knew enough because of our constant communication to make it perfect. At first I was worried that she wouldn't be able to decorate the entire reception area by herself, but the catering staff helped, so everything looked beautiful. If we didn't hire Jeri, it would have been 100 times more stressful. We didn't worry about a thing on the wedding day because everything was perfectly planned and timed due to her. I was worried with how busy she was during Oct. She had a lot of events in October and I remember seeing her calendar with an event on almost every weekend. But, in the end, when it was our wedding week, she focused 200% on us and what we needed to make our wedding perfect. She’s a great multi-tasker and problem-solver. Go with Jeri-she won’t disappoint!

The best part about hiring Jeri was knowing I had someone experienced who has done this a million times before me on my team. This gave me confidence in my wedding planning, knowing that she would be able to tell me if I was missing something. That was worth the money. She also has a bubbly and warm personality that is just lovely.

Sandra and I would like to thank Jeri Fitzgerald of Celebrations by Design for her services at our daughters wedding this past June. Everything turned out so well from the smallest of items to the large one. It's hard to imagine how much work is involved with planning a wedding but Jeri accomplished the task with ease and professionalism. We couldn't have done it without her. Thank you so much Jeri!

Jeri was wonderful to work with and did an amazing job coordinating and planning our wedding on the island of Santorini, Greece! All of the details, no matter how small, were takend care of and handled professionally. She made our wedding one that my wife and I, as well as our guests, will never forget!

I called and used Jeri from Celebrations by Design for my daughters confirmation reception. It was such a relief for the day of the event to not have to set up and decorate. I walked into a beautiful reception for my daughter. The center pieces came together beautifully and the flowers looked lovely. I will use Jeri again.

Jeri is awesome. She is very enthusiastic about her career and helping couples have an awesome wedding day. She provides a lot of input to help create the wedding, and is cognizant of the budget at all times. She also comes up with creative ideas to help you save a few dollars. Her referrals to us for a DJ, florist, and cake were terrific. We had already picked out a photographer. Her true value comes out the day of the wedding. All the coordination is off of the families, bride, and groom so they can enjoy the day. We love you Jeri, you are the best. Taya & Matt

Jeri has a vast network of resources and is a creative and confident problem solver. She is a veteran of wedding planning and brings so much experience that it's hard to imagine a situation she has not already encountered. We were new to the Tucson area, and it made a significant difference that Jeri was readily available to assist in the planning process for us on numerous occasions. During our meetings, she was pleasant and congenial – and offered to support many of the tasks that were outstanding at the time. It became apparent that she had a fairly substantial understanding of and passion for Tucson and a great working relationship with many of the local wedding vendors in the area.

As a professional in the field, she was attuned to local merchants, decorative/creative ideas and several other items that we had not previously considered. On several occasions, she pointed us in the right direction to help create the wedding experience we were envisioning. Jeri had multiple customers during the period she was working with us, so her time and dedication was somewhat limited until the month prior to our wedding.

She never missed an appointment and was very reliable. On the weekend of our wedding, she assisted in coordinating the rehearsal, and helped transport flowers and layout the decorations that were necessary for both the ceremony and reception sites. She presented herself in a professional manner, and was respectful and warm to all of our friends and family. She did not become overly-involved in minute details or attempt to control each aspect of our wedding day, which we appreciated.

In general, her role served to reduce the stress that inevitably came with planning a wedding in our new hometown, and she did just that—she helped us plan, coordinate, execute and most of all, enjoy our beautiful wedding day. Thank you Jeri!

Jeri is a very nice person and easy to get along with. After our first meeting, she really seemed to grasp my vision for the wedding. She also contributed great ideas to help in the planning the wedding ceremony. My rating on the flexibility is low due to the fact that she had a couple of events the week of my wedding and was unable to attend the rehearsal. I felt that this added to the chaos and confusion on the wedding day.
