Cory was absolutely the easiest to work with when deciding what to include in our big day and even walked us through what to expect on the day of. From coordination planning to the day at the alter, his energy and motivation that he brought made us even more excited than we already were.

From balancing the religious aspect to including the local customs and traditions, Cory made it feel seamless and effortless. He truly brought the ceremony together by including the crowd of family and friends. He was also able to make us feel like we were the only two individuals present during those special moments.

Pastor Casterton was remarkable!

Pastor Cory was truly terrific! His eloquence during the ceremony to his entire process leading up to the wedding day was seamless. We ended up having him help us with the paperwork and it was worth every penny! It truly allowed us to show up and enjoy our special day.

The perfect balance of spirituality, lightheartedness, and love!

Cory was an amazing officiant! We wanted our ceremony to have some religious notes, but not be too serious or long, and he did a perfect job! Our guests loved the blowing of the conch shell at the end! We booked the all-inclusive package, and it was so nice not to have to worry about going to the demographics/doctor’s office or filing our marriage certificate. Communication was great throughout the process, and I highly recommend working with him!

An outstanding officiant

Choosing Cory to be our wedding officiant was one of the best decisions we made in preparing for our beach elopement ceremony in Puerto Rico. Cory was responsive, professional and inviting from our first exchanges. We were so fortunate that he was available for our wedding date. Cory is very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of getting married in Puerto Rico and walked us through the options available to us. He was very accessible throughout the process and answered all of our questions. On the day of our wedding, Cory was a reassuring presence. He made our ceremony so personal and special. Cory readily shared his experience of being married to the love of his life for 46 years which was truly an inspiration to my husband and I. Cory's faith was also a huge draw for my husband and I in choosing him as our officiant. We could not have asked for more. Cory was so professional and patient with us throughout the process. Honest, Professional, Above and Beyond!!!

Cory was amazing. I trusted him from start to finish. He was super responsive to all my questions. The day of our wedding, he was communicating all morning. It was raining so he came and picked us up in his car. We needed a few items to use during our ceremony he offered some suggestions and brought the items with him to make it easier on us. Cory Casterton is the best!

Cory is one of the most down to earth, genuine people we have ever met. We planned a destination wedding and had no idea who to hire for our officiant, but I think our wedding planner matched us PERFECTLY! Cory began the process with a phone call to get to know us, learn about our history and create a ceremony that matched US. He is very attentive to detail and very efficient in his process, also offering lots of fun options (blowing the conch shell at your ceremony is A MUST!!!) to accompany the ceremony. We chose the concierge option he offered since we are from NC and he took care of all the paperwork from start to finish, making the process legal and EASY! Couldn’t give him more than 5 stars here, but in real life, he’s a TEN!

THE BEST! Straightforward and makes it fun!

Cory was the BEST! I was nervous about hiring someone to marry us without knowing them, but from our first few interactions over email I felt comfortable right away. Cory made everything easy and listened to what we wanted for our ceremony when we spoke over the phone. He was extremely patient with me and my husband as we tried to navigate the legal process, and came to our rescue when it was too overwhelming! Great Experience

Pastor Cory was a referral to us and from the beginning he was so very pleasant to work with. We decided to do a legal ceremony in Puerto Rico which is a bit more time consuming and a process, but Pastor Cory was with us the entire way and extremely knowledgeable on the process and what we needed to do. A wonderful experience

Cory is amazing! He is a warm and loving man of God with a heart of gold. We had a last minute destination wedding and he helped us pull everything off, BEAUTIFULLY, in less than a week. If you want an officiant who has their finger on the pulse (policies and regulations have been changing frequently), who is super organized and who goes the extra mile then Cory is your person. He made sure we had everything we needed so that getting our marriage license was a seamless process. Officiant Cory was punctual and informative. He has done this for many years and he made us feel comfortable.

Pastor Cory was as warm and loving in person as he was in his emails to us and his phone calls. You can tell he has a loving relationship with his wife and he’s passionate in his service. We had the “conch” sound which was a nice touch by the ocean.

Pastor Cory is the BEST! He was always punctual for our first meeting, rehearsal and of course the wedding! He was so responsive throughout our whole planning process. Pastor Cory conducted a beautiful ceremony for my husband and I in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the San Juan Marriott and Stellaris Casino. We had a destination wedding, so I was very worried about finding the right person to marry us, but one conversation with Cory and we knew he was it! My husband and I were recommended Cory, by several of our local vendors as well as the Ritz-Carlton San Juan. From day one, Cory was extremely professional and timely in his responses. It is clear that Cory is very charismatic and thoughtful in his job. He simply wants every bride and groom's day to go perfect and he will tailor his service to each individual's style.

We planned a destination wedding all the way from Chicago, for 115 guests at the Ritz Carlton San Juan. Knowing we would have Cory the day of our wedding, was such a stress relief... he is very reliable and organized. Cory served as the Officiant of Record for our wedding a couple weeks ago. He was extremely professional, informed about the marriage process and requirements in PR and responsive to our many questions leading up to the big day. Cory had us prepare as much as possible in advance of traveling to San Juan, which eased the entire process. While there were some last minute changes to the logistics of us signing the paperwork, Cory actually made things easier than expected. Cory walked us through all of the difficult legal preparations with ease. We considered not getting married in Puerto Rico because of the official paperwork required. Cory prearranged all and even drove us there! The ceremony was perfect. I highly recommend him to officiate.

Cory was the officiant for our wedding on 12/30/15 at El Convento. Leading up to the wedding, he was very helpful with all of the required documents, fees, ceremony order, everything. We're from Chicago so once we arrived in OSJ, he helped us file all of our paperwork and was so so organized throughout the entire process. I forgot to bring a printed copy of my birth certificate and Cory thankfully had a backup. He's a very genuine, kind hearted person and we always felt and knew we were in good hands. Cory was the officiant for our wedding this past weekend at the Courtyard Marriott Isla Verde. I cannot say enough about how amazing Cory was from when we started the wedding planning until the wedding day. Cory was recommended by the Marriott and I read his reviews on Wedding Wire which lead me to contacting him. Cory got back to me right away and suggested that we set up a call. As soon as Cory and I got on the phone I knew that I wanted him to be our officiant. He had such a pleasant way about him and he put me at ease. We elected to purchase the "hands on" legal process assistance from Cory and it was 100% worth it. Cory helped us with all of the paperwork and legal documents and he even brought us to the government offices to get our marriage license. It couldn't have been easier with his help. While we were driving to and from the license office Cory got to know my fiancée and I and made us feel at ease yet again. I asked if we could have a short rehearsal the day before the wedding and he was happy to accommodate me for no additional cost. He even helped to calm me down when my fiancée was late for the rehearsal. The day of the wedding everything was perfect. The ceremony was beautiful and he incorporated some of the special things we had shared with him on our ride to the license office. I cannot recommend Cory enough. He made our wedding so beautiful and special. Thank you so much Cory, we love you!

My husband and I had a destination wedding in San Juan and Cory was recommended by our wedding planner. We were worried about having someone who hasn't know us for a long time officiate our wedding, but we should not have been Cory was absolutely amazing! He far exceeded our expectations and really helped to make our ceremony even better than we thought it would be. From our first meeting he was very organized and made us feel comfortable. We really had no idea what all usually goes into a ceremony besides the I Do's, and he gave us great ideas and options for things we might like to do or add. Also, we had kind of an odd request of doing a glass ceremony instead of a sand ceremony which we really struggled with the wording. Cory really came through and helped us out down to the final hours even though he had never done a glass ceremony before. He really took a lot of stress off of us and gave us the light-hearted beachy ceremony we had hoped for! (For those curious, we had a non-religious ceremony). I would also recommend his services if you are legally trying to get married in PR, he made the process a breeze and really saved us precious time with his having done a lot of things in advance for us. As a nice bonus too, after the wedding we found that he had left us a booklet of our entire ceremony run through. So sweet, it is something we will keep forever! Cory did an amazing job at our wedding on July 11th. He was very professional and made us feel very comfortable like we knew him for years. We met him a few months prior to our wedding and he was so sweet, we knew he would be the perfect officiant for our wedding. We also did a rehearsal the day before and he did a wonderful job helping us stay organized. On the day of the wedding he was very welcoming and comforting. He spoke kindly and still made the ceremony fun and entertaining for our guests. The guests loved the surprise at the end, which was the blowing of the conch shell. It was fun and very unique. I would definitely recommend Cory to anyone planning a wedding or vow renewal because he is professional and flexible.

We chose to go with Cory after a narrowed search to three or four different officiants. Quite simply, we were sold after we met for our first consultation, and booked him on the spot. His style is one of great flexibility and experience; he knows his stuff.

From the first meeting, we were at ease with his organizational skills, follow-up, and availability when we had questions. We were coming from the states for our wedding, so we had one shot to get things right once we arrived.

He sent checklists of what we would need, gave us helpful tips, and was just great with the whole process.

Once at the ceremony, he was just as helpful and nice as he was in our prior meetings and phone calls. The ceremony went off without a hitch, and everyone there had only the best things to say about how Cory handled the whole thing. Even after the wedding he has been helpful with the procurement of the license and has just been a delight to "work" with.

I would recommend Cory to anyone at anytime.

Cory was awesome, would highly recommend. We initially hired him because we needed someone local to handle the official paperwork, while a friend of mine did the actual ceremony. Cory was awesome though, he turned a paperwork session into a special ceremony, and added meaning to an otherwise dry affair. He conducted an informal ceremony the morning of our wedding, imparted some wisdom, and incorporated some really excellent rituals into the rituals (ask him about conch blowing). Would highly recommend again, he made the whole thing really special, he's got a great way with people too.

What could we say about Pastor Cory Casterton regarding our special day? Since the first telephone call when he reached out to us, based on a recommendation and what a perfect one it was, he made my wife feel at ease. Cory advised my wife what paperwork was needed, and the entire process on how to get married in Puerto Rico. My wife got off the phone with Cory and told me the entire conversation and how she felt at ease with him. My wife stated there was an instant connection, so there was no need to look further for a Pastor/Officiant. Cory communicated via email, as well as telephone. Cory picked us up at the hotel and drove us to the Office of Demographics in P.R. He had arranged for all the paperwork be completed at one location. Had the attorney meet us there and even had the I.R.S. stamp purchased for us to make it easier. During the ride to and from Cory asked wanted to know more about us and he even shared a story or two about his wife Carmen. He made us feel, as we knew him for a long time. Our guests are still talking about what a great job Cory did, we received so many compliments on the wonderful ceremony. He is funny, a great public speaker. If you are getting married in Puerto Rico, and in need of a Pastor/Officiant we would definitely recommend Cory! Thank you once again BUDDY for going above and beyond!

Cory was a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding day and on the actual day. He remained in close contact with us, letting us know all the documentation and appropriate steps to take in order to obtain our marriage license as well as the day of ceremony detail. Cory provided us with "hands on" support , taking us around to various offices which was great and very helpful. We discussed the ceremony outline with him, and on the day of the ceremony everything went beautifully. Cory was our officiant for our wedding in Dorado, Puerto Rico on April 11th. He was great to work with and made our wedding ceremony very special. We have received so many complements from our guests about what a great job Cory did officiating. He helped us put together all aspects of our ceremony, including suggesting readings and poems. He traveled to Dorado the day before the wedding for a rehearsal, and was very flexible with his availability.

He is funny, responsive, and a great public speaker. If you are getting married in Puerto Rico, I would definitely recommend Cory!

Cory and Carmen are amazing! Look no further for your officiant! I was apprehensive about getting married so far away and not meeting anyone in person or seeing anything. The moment I spoke to Cory on the phone I was put at ease. Everything was beautiful! Cory and Carmen took care of everything even making the appointment to get my hair done! I could not have been happier! They even were able to keep my husband to be from seeing me after my hair was done and while I was getting ready. Pastor Cory was AMAZING at our wedding in Rio Grande. The ceremony always seems to be something that the guests want to rush through so they can get to the real party but we received so many compliments on the wonderful ceremony. My 20 year old cousin even commented on how much he enjoyed the readings and my grandmothers were both so impressed with Cory and how he really made everyone feel like he had known my husband and I for years.

It was a beautiful ceremony and one that everyone will remember forever!

My husband and I loved working with Cory. From the minute I met him, I knew that I wanted him to be our officiant. He has such a kind soul, and I immediately felt like I had known him for a long time. He was very responsive and helped us tailor our ceremony so it fit our specific needs - from adding in a modern day arras ceremony to an Irish blessing for my husband's Irish mother. Pastor Cory was everything we had hoped he would be. He was very responsive when planning our renewal of our vows from afar, and remained in contact with us right up until our arrival in Puerto Rico. He was incredibly personable and made our special event even more special and meaningful, right down to the Caribbean conch call at the end of our ceremony. It was absolutely wonderful having Cory officiate our ceremony on 2/7/15 at La Concha Resort. We met several months beforehand, and he was able to come to our rehearsal as well (this was for an additional fee but definitely worth it). He was very flexible with the different items in the ceremony. He provided a standard sort of template for the ceremony and we were able to change it to fit our needs, and he gave us great parameters to work with and great advice. During the ceremony, he had everyone feeling relaxed and at ease. After the ceremony, so many family and friends asked where we found him, because he truly embodied the fun, comfortable vibe we were hoping for. He was absolutely amazing. I couldn't have imagined anyone else marrying my husband and I.

We loved everything about Pastor Cory from start to finish. He met us months before the wedding to get to know us and tell us about himself. We planned the ceremony with him and he was flexible in making everything we want happen and providing recommendations.

He even walked us through the steps needed to get legally married in PR. Plus, did I mention he picked us up from the airport to take us to demographics? Seriously, he is a real treat!

Our guests even talked about what a great job he did with the ceremony and wanted to know why he didn't stay for dinner! You cannot go wrong with Pastor Cory.

Cory has great presence. From the moment we reached out to ask about pricing, Cory was welcoming and informative. Prior to any discussion, he furnished us with all the details of how to obtain the marriage license, costs, samples of affidavits and doctor notes, etc. He went above and beyond before we even decided to contract him. Needless to say, after we contracted him, he was there every step of the way. He was open to suggestions and accepting of our ideas and tone we wanted for our wedding. We really enjoyed working with him. This man is so in love with his wife - who better to perform the ceremony than someone that after many years of marriage is still excitable when taking about his wife. He works quickly! He submitted our marriage license two days after the wedding (mind you it was in the middle of the holidays). His "contract" is an honor system. His Spanish could use a little honing, but in his defense, he does disclose this from the get go. We just really liked his presence and didn't mind it since it was mainly an English ceremony with Spanish overview (his wife is fully bilingual though). We are very happy with Cory's services and highly recommend to any couple wishing to have a destination wedding in PR.

Cory, married my wife and I. We called last minute, he came out to our hotel. He sat down with us and went over every detail. Then performed a great, private little ceremony. After we left PR, we noticed some mistakes with our license. We called Cory, and he was able to fix it in a timely and courtesy manner. Cory was excellent! Pastor Cory is one of a kind. All smiles and laughter with a warm heart. From the very first moment I called him he immediately educated me on what we needed in order to get legally married in Puerto Rico. He put together an email with the list of things and answered every question I had as if I was his only bride. Pastor Cory Casterton was the best! One of the most down to earth ministers I've ever met. He captured our personality and tied our beliefs all at the same time. Cory and Carmen are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet!! My little sister and I met with them last April and knew right away that they were who I wanted to hire to marry my husband and I. The legal process can be a little confusing especially when you hear a different story from so many different people. Cory helps you understand the necessary (and correct) steps all along the way. If you are doing a destination wedding (like I did) I highly recommend spending the extra money and going with the 'hands on' package. With this, Cory or Carmen will pick you up and bring you to all the necessary offices to get your marriage license in action. Like I said, the process in PR can be a little confusing so having someone there that knows exactly what they are doing makes the entire experience so much easier!! Cory was my main contact throughout the entire wedding planning process and Carmen is who married my husband and I. They are two of the most sweet, kind, patient, and professional people we have ever met!! Cory was recommended by our wedding planner and we are SOOO happy he married us! We had a destination wedding and from the beginning he was easy to work with and organized. I'm very big on vendors responding in a timely fashion and it was one of the main factors I looked for when I made my final decision on a vendor. I never had any issues with Cory. He was very professional and personable, which made the wedding planning process so much easier.

I certainly can recommend using Celebrating Your Wedding services, we were very happy with their services, our officiant was Cory Casterton. Im from Puerto Rico and my now husband is from Texas and we are living in Netherlands. Through the process we found that planning a wedding in PR is very challenging, especially when you are planning from far, finding vendors that respond quickly and are responsible is a most. Our officiant was probably the easiest vendor we work with. Since so many people were coming from Texas we decide to do the service in English. Cory always communicate to make sure we have the service how we wanted and gave us options, he make it easy to decide if you need help in these matters. My husband and I were married on Dec. 6, 2013 in San Juan by Cory. Leading up to the wedding Cory was very helpful. We live in Ohio and were concerned about being able to trust someone so far away with one of the most important days of our lives. From the very first conversation he put our concerns at ease. He was always a phone call or email away. Cory made sure we had the proper paper work so that there were no hiccups on our special day. Curtis and I talked with several officiants to perform the ceremony but none of them made us feel like they had known us for ages. Not to mention his services were affordable. We were on a strict budget but Cory gave us the wedding ceremony we wanted. It was personalized for us and we were as hands on as we wanted. Because Cory is so good at what he does it made it that much easier to just enjoy our wedding with our family. We appreciate Cory and I hope that others will find this review helpful.

I would recommend Pastor Cory without any hesitation! Cory Casterton was our pastor for our wedding in Rio Grande Puerto Rico and he was nothing short of amazing. He was extremely personable and attentive to the difficulties that result in trying plan a destination wedding. He made this event great with his ideas and suggestions which obviously came from years of experience. If we hadn't had his knowledge when it came to getting married in Puerto Rico there is no way we would have gotten a wedding license because there was many things that had to be done BEFORE getting to the office to apply for a license! Thank you Pastor Cory for your humor, your assistance, and your calming effect when I was getting to be a stressed out bride!

He truly did an outstanding job!!! He was a last minute addition after our scheduled officiant became ill and could not make it!! After the first meeting (two days before the wedding) we knew he was a blessing in disguise. From the first hello to the last heart felt question, we knew he was meant to be out officiant. He was well organized, everything was very well presented, and the day of our wedding he gave us a personalized booklet typed with our wedding ceremony as a keep sake, such a nice touch!! would we recommend him? undoubtedly yes, he truly made our ceremony special, unique, traditional and eclectic. He went above and beyond our expectations and truly made our wedding ceremony one to be remembered.

I picked Cory because my wedding planner recommended him. However, I made a trip to Puerto Rico 9 months before the wedding to meet the vendors and everyone. That was when we got a chance to meet Cory. We instantly connected with him. You could tell he loves what he does, which means a lot. He explained to us the whole process. After our initial meeting, I felt comfortable and happy that he would be our officiant for the wedding. During the months before the wedding, he was always there to answer any questions I had. We had multiple conversations over the phone to finalize details. Once we arrived to Puerto Rico for the wedding, he took us to get our marriage paperwork, which I highly recommend for everyone to do. I am happy to say he made the process very easy. As for the day of the wedding ceremony he was great. All the guests loved the ceremony and how Cory did.

Choosing Pastor Cory to officiate our wedding in Puerto Rico was the best decision we made. His caring and attention to detail was above and beyond what we expected. He took the time to help us through the paperwork and at our wedding gave a beautiful sermon with a personal touch. I am not even sure where to start...From the very beginning I felt like I knew Cory and that he genuinely wanted the ceremony to be exactly how we wanted it. From start to finish he helped us through the legal process which was a HUGE help considering it was a destination wedding. We met with Cory the day before the wedding for our rehearsal. He was able to get to know us a little better and us him. The day of our wedding a storm came through and dropped 9 inches of rain (record breaking in Puerto Rico). Cory still made it despite roads being flooded and blocked off. The ceremony was perfect in every way. When planning this wedding the minister was at the very top of my list. I could not have made a better choice. I would absolutely would recommend Cory to anyone!

Cory was such an awesome choice! We did the full package with him escorting us to get our marriage license, doing a rehearsal and a sand ceremony. He is so down to earth but with awesome advice and good conversation. He was flexible and made everything a breeze! He was very kind to us and showed us some things that were great about the island. Cory was amazing! From the first time we met, all the way through our special day. Cory took the time to meet with us, learn about us, and learn about what we wanted our ceremony to be like. Cory made us both feel so comfortable from day one. Although everything was done by email and phone conversations the wedding could not have gone any better. He did the ceremony in English and Spanish. He ends his emails with Here For You... and he really goes by that. I highly recommend Cory, you won't be disappointed.

Cory was very helpful from beginning to end. He made sure the most important part of the wedding (making it legal) was handled. He personally escorted the couple to the locations to handle all the paperwork. He even provided the couple with a wedding program, which was a very nice keepsake. As a coordinator, I would definitely use Cory again.

Cory was fantastic throughout the entire planning process. We kept in touch through email and also phone conversations. He was very organized and emailed an outline of our conversation just to make sure we were on the same page.

Talk about someone who knows their stuff! Cory married us on 5/31 and I must say, we hit it off right away. He is so down to earth and easy to talk to. We found him very knowledgeable and organized. Everything was so easy. He explained exactly what was required and needed for a destination wedding along with examples. We communicated via e-mail and several phone conversations. He truly tried to make our ceremony reflective of us. He went out of his way to understand us as a couple and our needs and wants. We are a very casual couple and he was able to create a simple, yet intimate ceremony that had everyone in tears. Overall, Cory is a wonderful person and I am thankful to have had him marry me and my husband. I could not have asked for anyone else!

Cory was very professional and responsive throughout the process. He was very clear about what we were getting and what we should expect, and always confirmed that he was doing exactly what we were looking for. Several of the guests told us that they enjoyed the job he did at the wedding ceremony and we were definitely happy with it. He has a list of options that you can consider to tailor the ceremony to be what you're looking for, which is especially helpful if you don't already have all the details thought through. He is religious in the case that is important to you.

We had Cory as the officiant for our destination wedding and he was great! We would recommend him to anyone! The communication was open via email and phone, he took the time to get to know us as a couple and that really meant a lot! It is reassuring to know what a couple wants IS his priority. We personalized our ceremony and he also made it unique! His fees were more than reasonable and he met with us the day before the wedding and also did our rehearsal ceremony. He sent us home with great wedding mementos that will help us remember our special day forever! On top of all of that he was very fast to turn in our wedding paperwork and even let us know when our wedding license was available to order online since we are so far away! This is your guy in Puerto Rico!

If I had to do this all over again, there is nobody in the world I would want doing my ceremony then Cory. he's not just a pastor, he's a friend. he made the ceremony fun, he said the most beautiful things but most of all he made everything so simple.....wedding certificates, paperwork, rehearsal.
