My wedding took place in Chicago on July 20, 2024. I do not believe this wedding would have happened without Cyndi! I could not have pulled this off without her. I underestimated how many details and moving parts would be involved. My husband and I were happy to simplify our wedding weekend, not only for ourselves and the planning process but also for our guests, as many people were traveling from out of state. And STILL, the amount of details to consider was massive, and Cyndi handled every single one. Not only did she communicate with all of my vendors, including traveling to Chicago on multiple occasions to view the venue, but she was exceptional at working with me on the decor. Our venue had a very eclectic interior; she pulled the room together beautifully. Of course, all decisions were discussed with me and my opinion was always valued. I must have emailed her 200 times in the past year, and she has ALWAYS been prompt and responsive. Having nothing to worry about on your wedding day is truly invaluable and Celebrated Events made that happen. I wouldn't have changed a thing! -

This planner has it all!
I have worked personally and professionally with Cyndi for over 20 years. She has coordinated two of my daughters’ weddings and has collaborated with me as a vendor at my own venue. To say that my daughters’ weddings were visually memorable is an understatement. Cyndi is the whole package- ultra-professional, experienced and her design skills are literally unparalleled. She not only will bring any bride’s vision to reality but she will execute the event to perfection. Put your event in her hands, you won’t be sorry! -

Cyndi did an incredible job connecting us with the most incredible vendor team and coordinating our timeline with those vendors. Cyndi put lots of beautiful details into our day and she really thought of everything. It was a magical day! -

I didn’t think I’d needed a planner but I was completely wrong. Cyndi went above and beyond and made sure our day was perfect. Every time something came up (as it always does) she fixed the issue without fail. She followed my vision and made the perfect edits to ensure the day was smooth. Cyndi you are the best! I’m going to miss you keeping me on task :)

Cyndi Basker - Celebrated Events - was instrumental in the success of our daughter's wedding. Her calm and confident demeanor and knowledge of the planning process was so valuable. She thought of all the little details and helped us in every way possible from transportation for our guests to design elements that added so much to the reception. She was willing to go above and beyond to insure everything was just the way my daughter envisioned it. We could relax and enjoy the day knowing Cyndi had everything under control! -

I had to do my wedding in just 5 short months due to my dad's cancer prognosis. My mom and I were scrambling to find help and decided to reach out to Cyndi. She had another wedding that weekend and usually only takes on one but decided to take on ours as well. She was a blessing in disguise and made everything run so smoothly. She created the wedding of my husband and I's dreams. We wouldn't have been able to do it without her. She was with us every step of the way. -

I was told about Cyndi by our rental company. I really did t think I needed a wedding planner. My daughter and I decided to give her a call and she what she was all about. By the end of the conversation we booked her for our wedding.
Cyndi is so professional and easy to work with. I am a very detail oriented person and so is she. We worked beautifully together.
She saved the day when we had to fire our DJ the week before the wedding! She found a great replacement!
It was so nice to have someone make sure all our vendors were on the same page. Everything went perfectly!
I would highly recommend Cyndi for any event. She is awesome!

Celebrated Events went above and beyond to make my day amazing!
I couldn’t have asked for a better day of coordinator to make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Cyndi was right there to help with anything I needed leading up to our wedding, and even managed to help me find a new and high demand DJ just two weeks before when the original DJ I booked didn’t work out. He was perfect!!
She is extremely detail oriented and will make sure everything, even things you never would have thought of, are perfect. Booking celebrated events was the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding process and we truly couldn’t have done it without her! -

Hiring Cyndi was a great decision for us, especially with COVID changing our plans seemingly every week! She was very responsive before the wedding and always had a positive attitude through all the ups and downs and changes this year brought us! On the actual day of the wedding, I (and my husband) was actually able to enjoy the day because Cyndi was in the background making sure everything ran smoothly, even when we had a last minute change to move from outside to inside. I would definitely recommend hiring Cyndi to be a part of your wedding! -

Such an asset!
A friend of mine recommended Cyndi to me when I was about 5 months out from the big day and feeling totally lost about how to plan or even find vendors. From the first time we spoke she totally understood my vision and was completely on my page. One of the most valuable traits of Cyndi’s is that she has relationships with what seems like almost all vendors in the region. She was able to recommend the large majority of my vendors and because she even had good relationships with them it made the process that much smoother. We are so grateful to Cyndi. She completely executed the wedding of our dreams. It was 1000 times more beautiful that we could have ever imagined. Cyndi really pays attention to detail and even had little suggestions along the way of little things to do that make a big difference, whether that be the food service, or the decor. You know when there are multiple guests making Instagram posts of the table setting that she really nailed it! Our day went off without a hitch (and if it didn’t, we didn’t even know it!) all because of Cyndi. I would definitely recommend using her if you’re like me and feeling lost in the abyss of wedding planning, she won’t steer you wrong! -

I don’t even know where to start! Plain and simple, if I didn’t have Cyndi through the better half of my wedding, our wedding would not have been what it was. I could not possibly contain in the review enough words to exactly express our appreciation. Cyndi is absolutely, the best wedding planner/coordinator in the mid-west area. The compliments of how beautiful our wedding has not stopped almost a month later! Our evening progressed so smoothly and on schedule that we were able to relax and truly enjoy the magic of our special day. Her planning preparations & attention to detail surpassed everything we could have hoped for. Cyndi is beyond professional but also extremely personable. Her extremely fun, positive energy & personality made it very easy to communicate with her. You can talk & trust her with everything, even minutes leading up to the ceremony. She makes you feel like a friend you’ve had for years! She made us and our wedding party feel at most ease, and that’s all you can ask for on your wedding day! We keep saying how much we wish we could relive that day over and over again! And the honest truth is we would and would NOT change a thing! To any bride-to-be’s out there – If you are looking for an upscale wedding coordinator and someone you can 100% trust to plan one of the most important days of your life, I wouldn’t recommend anyone but Cyndi Basker with Celebrated Events. I have no doubt she will exceed all your expectations!

We are so happy we had Cyndi on our team as we planned our wedding! We live in Denver, and planned a wedding at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and The Century Center, and we absolutely could not have done it all without her help! She knew all of our venues and was able to recommend vendors who were perfect for our wedding! She also helped us create deadlines/ checklists/ and week of timelines that kept us and our families on track. It was a very stress-free planning experience for my fiancé and me. If you’re looking to make your event planning process enjoyable rather than a headache, get Cyndi on your team as soon as possible! -

Hiring Cynthia Basker of Celebrated Events was the best thing we did for our son's wedding. We hired her jointly with the Bride's family to assist with both the wedding and the Rehearsal dinner.
What you get when you work with Cynthia Basker is years of experience, deep connections to all the vendors in South Bend, a willingness to go above and beyond to make everything right and an extremely pleasant and caring person!
We hired Cynthia to work with us the last month before the wedding. She made herself completely available to us that month. She had fabulous ideas as to how to personalize the venue and this made a significant difference in the feel of the rehearsal dinner. I had overlooked several things and acting on her suggestions made the night feel much more personal and special for the couple. She also was willing to help in every aspect as we had deliveries sent to her home, she picked up items at printers and assembled and delivered welcome packets to the hotel, got the bride's dress professionally steamed, brought a steamer to the hotel for the bridesmaids, etc. She knew the folks at the hotel and made sure everything went smoothly. The night of the wedding, she cleared the bridesmaids items from the "ready room" on campus and made sure everything was delivered to their hotel. The night of the rehearsal, she stood outside in the parking lot to make sure all the guests found their way to the venue. She was completely vested in the weekend and was very dedicated making it perfect! When there was a hiccup regarding our rooms at the Morris Inn, their responsiveness went from good to extremely good once they knew we were working with Cynthia!!
I also appreciated how flexible Cynthia was with her services. I was able to pay her hourly on the front end to get great advice regarding venues and vendors without having to buy into some large full service package. However, it would have been a big mistake to go it alone without her input and we are so so grateful we hired her for the last month. The bride was at school in South Bend so she wanted to do much of it herself. Had this not been the case, I would have definitely hired Cyndi to " do it all."
Cyndi's attention to detail and making us focus on a very detailed plan for the weekend and all of the logistics was also extremely helpful. This truly made the weekend go smoothly and without much stress. Her years of experience about what works and what can go wrong was a big asset.
Finally, Cyndi is just a gem to work with. She is very diplomatic in dealing with all sorts of personalities and the tensions that can arise in planning and executing a wedding. She is able to get her advice heard without stepping on egos.
With Cyndi we got years of invaluable experience from a woman who treated us as if we were the only wedding that mattered!

After helping me customize and craft my dream day, she held my hand in tackling the logistics. She recommended tried and true vendors (all of whom were wonderful people to work with) and attended all of my meetings when I came into town. She away took the stress of many of the interactions and transactions, which freed me up to work on guest lists, seating charts etc. She was irreplaceable the week of the wedding, the rehearsal and the day of the wedding and made sure the day flowed seamlessly without a hitch. I honestly could not have pulled off my perfect wedding without Cyndi and her hard work, attention to details and nurturing presence and I wholeheartedly recommend hiring her.

Not only was she on top of things for a year leading up to the big day but she made the day of and the stressful days before a breeze. I was so thankful to have her by my side. She was taking calls left and right coordinating with the vendors and even stuffed our welcome boxes so we could focus on other things. Cyndi made the room sparkle and her fine taste in decor really helped in the planning process. Our final wedding day was perfect and I could not have done it without Cyndi. I would highly recommend her!
