Great Choice!

I chose Sandra because a year before my wedding she did my husbands best friends wedding and I remember sitting there during their wedding thinking what a great ceremony it was and how much I liked Sandra and her style. She works with you to create this amazing story of how the two of you met and how the proposal happened. She also is very reasonable priced compared to others.

A Wonderful Experience

Sandra made our ceremony exactly the way we wanted it. It couldn’t have been more tailored to my husband and I, the tone was exactly the he way we wanted it and made the ceremony so special and something I will remember always.

Sandra was wonderful to work with. Quick to respond, gave helpful suggestions, and helped us to make everything personal and fit our style. She helped us to incorporate both of our styles, write vows, and incorporate elements we wanted to add to make it different yet traditional. The ceremony was romantic and personal - helping us to feel connected to each other and our guests. Things ran smoothly despite our anxieties and she helped to ease our worries. We highly recommend Sandra for everyone!

I would highly recommend Sandra Monahan. She was everything we could have ever hoped for and more. We met with a lot of different officiants and when we found Sandra, we were so relieved. She was so responsive and more than helpful from start to finish. She has a genuine passion for what she does. She made our ceremony and our vows exactly the way we wanted. She really listened to things we said were important and made sure to incorporate them. She was happy to keep the traditional Christian elements that we wanted but, she also customized our ceremony to reflect both my husband and I. We received so many positive comments from our family and friends on how beautiful our ceremony was and what a great officiant Sandra was. She made our wedding day so very special and memorable. We sincerely can't say enough great things about her.

Sandra was fabulous and the ceremony was truly so special. I've received the most touching compliments on the ceremony from our guests. I don't want to get crazy, but people are saying best ever... Sandra had a great approach and helped us craft a lovely ceremony that really represented the love my husband and I have for each other and our family and friends. She had plenty of great suggestions and included some surprises that our guests loved! She definitely knew what she was doing and made the whole process so easy. Highly recommend!

Sandra absolutely made our wedding day perfect!

From our first meeting with Sandra I knew she was the perfect to make our day personalized and special. We really wanted our ceremony to be representative of both of us and our relationship. Sandra brought our relationship to life and our ceremony was unforgettable!!! She goes out of her way to make sure every detail is taken care of and keeps you calm and focused! Our friends and family are still raving about our ceremony! We would recommend her 100% to anyone looking for someone wonderful to marry them!!!

Sandra was amazing to work with! She was very responsive and friendly, and flexible in planning. She guided us through creating our perfect ceremony, but was totally open to any of our ideas and the final decision was always ours. She also provided amazing suggestions for readings, symbolism, and the ceremony flow - we started out a little lost in this part of planning but ended up with a ceremony that we loved and our guests are still talking about. I absolutely recommend Sandra for anyone looking for an officiant!

We met Sandra while at the open house for our venue. We knew as soon as we met with her that she would make the wedding as personal as possible and that's exactly what we were looking for. Sandra was extremely precise from the moment that we met her. She is very processional, kind, and likes to know details about each person and your relationship to incorporate it into the wedding ceremony. Sandra sends you a first rough draft for you and your significant other to read and revise. After you email it back to her she makes a second rough draft and this process keeps going until everything is exactly how you want it. I would recommend Sandra to anyone getting married because she customizes the whole experience and quickly responds to any questions throughout the entire experience.

Sandra was perfect. We got so many compliments from our guests on how lovely she was and how personal she made our ceremony. She included unique forms of symbolism and her special twist with being a celebrant allowed us to face our guests during parts of the ceremony. Sandra was a pleasure to deal with! She is very experienced in the wedding field (even planning) and offered suggestions and tips that came in handy throughout the entire process.

She communicated with me via email, which was awesome, because I was traveling a lot for work. She was very quick to respond to all of my emails and questions, and always acted with professionalism.

If you are like me and have NO idea what you want in your ceremony, choose Sandra! She likes to get to know the couples and uses the information she gathers to help develop your whole ceremony. It was a relief to have her involved--I don't think I could have come up with half of that stuff on my own!

Sandra couldn't have been more perfect. Is it possible for someone to be more than perfect? Because that's exactly what Sandra was. She was so kind, so responsive and so extremely helpful. She wrote the most amazing ceremony for my husband and I and everyone said how it was so special. If you are looking for an officiant for your wedding book her! You won't regret it.

Sandra did an amazing job with our ceremony. She let us choose what we wanted and didn't want to be part of our service. She also added personal stories and some humor to it. We received so many comments on our service and guest stated that she held their attention through out the service. If you are looking for an alternative to a church service she is the way to go.

There was a big snow storm on the day of our wedding, and we were worried that Sandra would not be able to make it, but she arrived 2 minutes early and was so professional, bringing copies of our readings (for our guests) and making us feel completely at ease. Our wedding was very small (just close family), and so we didn't have a rehearsal. Sandra guided us through the ceremony with charm, humor, and love. It was all absolutely perfect. Our families laughed and cried. The ceremony was personally written for us, and it was beautiful and very unique. I couldn't have asked for or planned a more perfect day.

Sandra was wonderful to work with. She wrote us a personal ceremony, which was what we were looking for instead of a cookie-cutter version that anyone could show up and read. She had a lot of suggestions for things to include and I think she really got a feel for who we are as a couple though only some emails and a couple phone conversations. She was great to work with and we can't recommend her enough.

Sandra was amazing! We were so lucky that she was able to officiate at our wedding ceremony. The whole process of planning the actual ceremony was fun & so stress free because of her. She made sure the ceremony was unique and definitely us! So many of our guests commented on how great the ceremony was. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone!!! We loved being able to work with her!

Sandra was great for our wedding. We wanted something small and personal and I loved that she drafted everything for us and let us review it and make changes. It was nice to know exactly what was going to be said and it allowed us to really personalize the ceremony and make is special. Sandra married my husband and I on 8/10/13. She was very professional and personal all at the same time. All of my guest were so impressed with her ceremony. I feel she made our day as special as it could have been. She asks questions of how you met and how much you love each other. She then incorporates it in her ceremony which I thought was so special. She really gave an insight of who were are and how we care for each other. I would recommend her to anyone that asks. She is so sweet and actually cares about what you want out of your day!!! Sandra was an absolute joy to work with. She was so flexible and very willing to accommodate our wishes for the ceremony. She provided her insight and expertise and made sure that I had considered things I would not have thought of on my own, making our ceremony that much more special. She was very detail oriented and took the time to get to know us as a family prior to the ceremony, giving it a much more intimate feel. She spoke with such grace and after the ceremony ended everyone began to compliment how beautiful it all was. Our wedding was one of the happiest days of our lives and Sandra was such a crucial part of it all. Sandee Monahan truly worked with us to make us at ease with the ceremony, a part of the wedding process that gave us so much trepidation and anxiety, with an end result that felt original, unique, comfortable, and "us." Sandee provided gentle guidance and advice through the process, and we felt so lucky to have found her/worked with her! Afterward, many of our guests were commenting on what a great ceremony it was, which I feel is rather unusual and speaks volumes to her professionalism, organization, coordination, and delivery. We were so beyond thrilled with the ceremony Sandra Monahan officiated for us on 4/21/2012. It was our favorite part of the wedding day, and almost all of our guests commented on just how warm, personal, funny, touching and sweet it was. It was the perfect length, too (being at Heinz Chapel, there are strict limitations on time). We absolutely loved being surprised by what we had written about each other on the couples questionnaire Sandra had us complete, and how it was incorporated into the ceremony. Sandra was so professional, responsive, and just exuded a calm, kind energy. We can't say enough just how happy we were with her and the very unique ceremony she put together for us! Highly, highly recommend!

If you are looking for a special and unique wedding ceremony, then Sandra is just for you! There are not enough adjectives to describe such a warm, gentle and loving soul. From start to finish, Sandra made our ceremony just priceless. She had a plethora of readings (both symbolic & biblical) to choose from, along with pages & pages of ring & vow exchanges that we could peruse from and select. We also met with her in person and she learned "our love story", which she wove so perfectly into the ceremony. She included special things like a Memorial Tribute for our deceased family members. Throughout the night, our friends and family members made a point to tell us what a beautiful & original ceremony we had....all thanks to Sandra!

Sandra's personal touch, taking the time to get to know what my (now) husband and I wanted in a ceremony, was crucial to the very special night we shared with our guests. Her questionnaire is perfect for discovering what is important to each of us, what we love about our partner, and the style ceremony we wanted to have. We wanted a ceremony somewhere between a 3 minute "justice-of-the-peace" ceremony and a full-on hour long Catholic service. Her guidance for us, by suggesting different ideas for the ceremony, readings, vows, helped us to create a very personalized service, that had guests alternating laughing with crying. Sandra worked with us over long distance to prepare our wedding ceremony. Many of our guests commented on the uniqueness and warmth of our ceremony, stating they, "loved it," and, "have never been to a ceremony like it." During the rehearsal, she offers various interesting rituals and traditions to be preformed during the ceremony such as hand fasting and ring warming (both of which we chose).

This is exactly what we got. My husband and I did not want a religious ceremony or the same old vows with a reading from Corinthians. We attended a wedding last summer and the most memorable part was the touching ceremony. Our wedding venue, Succop Conservancy, highly recommended Sandra and we contacted her immediately. We met with her and instantly liked her. We're a little bit weird and Sandra created the perfect ceremony for us. People were laughing, crying and completely interested. It was original and totally us.
