We recently worked with Cecilia to do a family (husband, me, + dog) / maternity photoshoot in Chicago and it was such a great experience! I found Cecilia on Instagram and was instantly drawn to her work with expecting moms. Her photos captured the candid and artistic, documentary vibe we were going for. I sent her some inspo from her own work she shared as well as from our wedding and she immediately got what we were going for and delivered in spades. We had never met or even spoken on the phone prior to our session, but she was thorough and responsive in her correspondence, and arrived early for our shoot. She kept us on schedule without feeling rushed, and had such an incredible eye for the perfect little micro settings within the broader areas where we were shooting. She is warm and fun and made it just a joyful and easy experience. Of course, our photos are incredible and we couldn’t be happier. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cecilia to anyone looking to capture life’s important moments. -

I got the chance to meet with Cecilia prior to our elopement to discuss the venue, flowers and options. We had a small ceremony outdoors near the grand river and have only seen our preview but we more than ecstatic. The pictures look fabulous and Cecilia was wonderful. She made everything seemless, easy, and captured such wonderful moments ! We can't wait to see the rest of them. -

I was looking for a photographer with a specific look in their photographs. A lot of the photographers that I wanted were already booked so they kept recommending other photog friends who have similar style. That's how I found Cecilia and I'm so thankful that I did!
Her style was exactly what I was looking for and you get so much out of your wedding day with the packages she offers. We opted for a larger package where she was with us for 10 hours, had an assistant taking photos as well, and even had a free engagement session included. The entire wedding day was photographed, she had a game plan with every single step of the way going into our day, and we absolutely love all of the pictures that we received. If you want everything and more out of your photographer, Cecilia can easily achieve that for you! We're so thankful she was willing to travel to our town for our wedding and captured every moment perfectly.
She is very easy to work with and helps you every step of the way. I will also say, the engagement session was great to have so you can get to know her and vise versa. I think it helps you all feel more comfortable with each other and it helps her understand your wants and needs out of these special moments. Now I want to have a wedding all over again with my husband after looking at the beautiful pictures! -

I had the pleasure of knowing Cecilia briefly before I was in the market for a wedding photographer. She was very kind and sweet, and once I saw her photography style, I knew right away I wanted her involved in my future wedding! (I wasn’t even engaged yet when I made this decision haha). Our first official meeting made me feel so good about having her on my team—she was genuine, easy going, candid, straightforward, and accommodating. I knew I was getting a great experience and I felt her pricing was very fair as well. Since that point, she has been amazing to work with! From our engagement pictures thru the wedding day, she has been very professional yet laid back, authentic, creative, generous, collaborative, timely, and assuring. I plan to use her for all my photography needs in the future! -

Sam and I are so excited about how the photos turned out. We were in awe the night when Cecelia sent us the link and watched the photos in a slideshow over and over until we went to bed. We reminisced about our first kiss. These photos were able to bring out so much emotion in us - they are so human and honest. If you're looking for that raw & genuine type of love captured in your photos, that you'll be looking at over and over again, Cecilia is your person! She has this way of making you and your significant other feel all the love in the world. Cecilia took my engagement photos at Joshua Tree National Park, and we are so so in love with all the pictures she took. She made us feel comfortable, silly and, engaged in the sweet moments while she worked her magic, it was such an amazing and fun time. Honestly cannot stop looking at our pictures!

My boyfriend and I contacted Cecilia about photographing our 4 year annivisary portraits. She was so inviting, and made it clear how important documenting our love was to her! Incredible!
Cecilia is incredible!!! From our very first conversation till now, it has all been perfect! I loved that she told me to create a pinterest page, so she can see what type of wedding photos I like and do not like. She did everything we wanted and more! She has such an eye for what looks good and her editing skills on top of it are incredible. We also got our photos back way earlier as well. I seriously highly recommend her!!
