Where do we even begin? This venue and their staff are deserving of 5++ stars in every category. The grounds are stunning, the food is phenomenal, and their customer service and professionalism are unmatched. We had been warned about how stressful wedding planning can be, but we genuinely never felt any stress throughout the entire process and we owe that all to Christina. She is so prompt and thorough with all communication, and everything we planned together was executed flawlessly. We had so much fun planning and are so grateful to Catta Verdera’s staff for making our vision reality. Christina, Alex, and Trish were attentive to our needs and they worked so calmly and professionally, we never would have known if anything went awry. The events of the day flowed seamlessly and our guests were well taken care of. We were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment of our wedding day thanks to the best team coordinating everything for us perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone! -

As a preferred wedding photographer for Catta Verdera Country Club, GVP Studios absolutely loves working at this venue! Every time we’re here, it’s like stepping into a Mediterranean dream — the white stucco buildings, surrounded by lush rolling hills, majestic oaks, and romantic olive trees, create a setting that’s both timeless and elegant.
The staff here? Truly second to none. From coordinators to servers, every team member goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless experience — not just for our couples, but for vendors too. It makes our job so much easier and more enjoyable when we’re supported by such a professional and kind crew.
Photo ops? Everywhere you turn. The venue is incredibly photographer-friendly — no long hikes or hidden corners needed. Whether we’re capturing golden hour kisses on the hills, sweet first looks under the olive trees, or dreamy wide shots of the ceremony space framed by Mediterranean architecture, everything flows naturally and beautifully.
Our couples are always thrilled with their Catta Verdera experience — and so are we. The luxurious accommodations and thoughtful layout make this one of our top favorite NorCal wedding venues, hands down. If you're planning your big day, you can't go wrong here! -

After we had a horrible experience trying to book our wedding at a different venue, working with Catta Verdera’s event staff was a breath of fresh air. Kenzie and her team were responsive, courteous, and professional. With us and close family being vegans, Kenzie made sure we could have a vegan appetizer during cocktail hour as well as a vegan entree/sides at dinner. Guests loved the food (chicken + prime rib)! The venue was beautiful for our ceremony and reception. We got excellent photos. Beyond that, they are experienced at running a wedding and have thought of everything. We highly recommend Catta Verdera! -

My husband & I got married at Catta Verdera Country Club at the end of March '22 & it was such an incredible experience!! Melissa was our coordinator & was extremely helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was there for every question & concern I had. Her attention to detail helped bring our dreams into reality. Also, shoutout to Trish for being an incredible Retreats server for the morning of! Clay & I are so grateful for both of you!!
For the price you pay, you get everything - a gorgeous venue with everything at one location, an attentive team to help make your day run smoothly in all aspects (set up, during the event, tear down, etc.), and absolutely delicious food. The stunning, fully bloomed wisteria on the pergolas in the patio area was a perfect natural decoration for our cocktail hour - also, it was a huge bonus that it matched our wedding colors! Our guests haven't stopped raving about this venue. We couldn't have been happier with our wedding at Catta Verdera!! -

Amazing wedding venue!
We had our wedding here in November 2020 and I can't say enough amazing things about Catta Verdera. It was absolutely beautiful and completely exceeded our expectations. Christina was our coordinator and she was so helpful from start to finish. She was friendly, professional, and responsive to all of my questions along the way. Our original date had to be postponed due to Covid but Christina was so accomodating with all of the changes that needed to be made. She truly made our day so special and completely stress free! We provided a lot of our own decorations but Christina and all of the other vendors set everything up so beautifully and better than we imagined it could be. All of the staff at Catta were so friendly and worked hard to give us the wedding of our dreams. And the food was absolutely amazing! Everyone loved it. I would recommend Catta Verdera to anyone for their wedding or large event. -

My hubby and I can't say enough good things about our beautiful ceremony and reception at Catta Verdera. Not snobby at all. We're beyond accommodating with all the changed due to Covid. Every single person on staff went above and beyond and were sincere, wonderful people. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and a more perfect day. And all this at a super reasonable cost and very upfront about cost. NO hidden fees and charges. -

We LOVE working with the staff and on the grounds at Catta Verdera Country Club. The venue has that amazing mix of classic architecture with modern Tuscan design. And of course the patio is the perfect place for a intimate dinner or cocktail hour for all your guests which over looks the grounds of the golf course. One of our favorite locations at Sacramento Event Co. -

Our wedding was a fairy-tale come to life! We were so lucky to be able to book Catta Vadera for our wedding venue. Not only is it a beautiful location, but it comes with the amazing Christina! This woman is an amazing event coordinator and so easy to get a hold of for all of those crazy wedding inquiries. When it comes to the venue itself, it is nothing beside perfect. Their food every single guest RAVED about. This is a venue where you truly feel like you can relax and enjoy your wedding day. I had not a single worry on my mind the day we got married, and I can thank the amazing staff at this venue for that. They do all the setup and take down for the event so that you and your guests can just ENJOY which was so very important for us. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a perfect wedding spot. -

We have nothing but praises and grateful hearts for CV, our amazing coordinator Christina and everybody we worked with in making our wedding day dreams a reality! They went above and beyond our every request and treated our bridal party and guests like royalty. Everybody is so friendly, helpful, proactive and upbeat, there’s just no way to NOT have the time of your life on your special day. Christina made sure the ceremony site, reception room and cocktail area were beautifully decorated. She exceeded my expectations for our wedding experience, which is no easy task! I knew exactly what I wanted and she over delivered. The property is elegant and breathtaking - a magical backdrop with beauty around every corner. And the food... delish!!! We truly had a perfect experience. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Thank you so much for the excellent service and attention to detail - CV and staff brought their A game for sure!! Christina helped so much with answering all my questions I had when planning this wedding from another state! The wedding turned out perfect - the staff kept everything organized during rehearsal and the ceremony. Guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how tasty the food was! Megan Sent on 12/07/2014We are so thrilled we decided to have our wedding at Catta Verdera Country Club. From the beautiful location to the amazing food and incredible staff, everything was absolutely perfect!
After researching wedding venues for over a month (and visiting close to 20!) I finally discovered Catta Verdera. Immediately upon driving through the front gate I knew this was the perfect setting. The ceremony site, cocktail reception area and ballroom were exactly what I was looking for. The pictures of the venue speak for themselves; it is an absolutely breathtaking location!
I was also extremely impressed with Catta Verdera’s Event Coordinator, Christina. She is impeccably organized and is fantastic at what she does. She captured every detail we discussed and was an integral reason that our big day went off “without a hitch”. I truly cannot express how thankful I was for everything she did!
And finally, the last major component to a wedding venue: food. It was outstanding!! My great aunt (who has been to many nice weddings throughout her lifetime) specifically commented that it was the best wedding food she had ever tasted. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the food was still hot when plated, and the presentation was impeccable.
My husband and I are incredibly thankful to the entire Catta Verdera staff and are so pleased with how our wedding turned out. It truly was a fairy tale wedding and every aspect of the day was perfect!

Erin Sent on 06/18/2013We were married on June 7th 2013 at Catta Verdera and everything about the day was absolutely PERFECT because of Christina and the amazing staff at Catta Verdera. Christina was more than a "day of" coordinator, she was a part of the planning process from day 1 and helped every step of the way. She was so friendly, was very responsive to questions, and was flexible with meetings and requests--this was especially important since we were planning from outside the area so it was nice to have someone you could just trust to get the job done without having to micro-manage everything. I was not stressed one bit because I knew I was in good hands at Catta Verdera and they went above and beyond our expectations. We went with their vendor recommendations and they all worked so well together, allowing my husband and I to actually enjoy the day along with our guests. The venue is gorgeous on its own, but they still work hard to bring out your individual details to make it your own-- When I walked in for the reception room review it literally took my breathe away! The food was amazing too-- our guests cannot stop talking about how perfect the wedding was--all thanks to Christina and the whole staff at Catta Verdera. -

Im so glad I chose them and even if it seems a bit expensive... in the long run it truly wasn't!! I would not have changed a thing about how they conducted business! Their amazing, the place is amazing and they made it an amazing day for us!! Worth every penny? I would have paid double!!!!!! -

Not only are the grounds breathtaking, but the club and the retreats are heavenly. I fell in love with this place the moment I stepped foot in to the property. We didn't even have to decorate very much because it was amazing. We received one of their end of summer specials to cut costs, but even the regular price would have been worth every single penny. With the level of professionalism, the amazing offerings and the delicious food...I couldn't have been happier. Now, let's talk about Christina and all of the other amazing staff at Catta Verdera. Attentive, accommodating, flexible and all around spectacular! I am running out of adjectives to describe how much I love this place. Go. Get Married Here. You will not be disappointed. -

Lisa Sent on 05/18/2013The staff at Catta was amazing. CHristina our coordinator made sure every detail was followed through, the food was amazing we requested a custom menu and they made it happen. On the day of, our wait staff in the Retreat area were superb. The staff made sure all vendors were set up and guests were taken care, even when there was a snafoo, they made sure we didn't know about it until after. I HIGHLY recommend Catta Verdera Country Club!! -

User873122 Sent on 07/23/2012The Venue and rooms to get ready in were beautiful. The food was awesome. Our coordinator Christina was amazing and answered all of our questions and was very helpful. The staff was very helpful too during the wedding day.
The down falls of this venue were that in summer there air conditioner didn't work well - it was so hot getting ready and people stopped wanting to dance because no matter how low you put the air on it just couldn't cool it down enough. We had cards stolen from our birdcage also. They put your gift table in the hall that all golf guests have access too, there was suppose to be an attendant there but no one was there and I had asked that it be in the room with us but they said there was no where to put it? It is a big room. Also, the food and beverage coordinator (christina's boss) was creepy and rude. He had the nerve to ask us for more money 2 days after our wedding was over. He was very unprofessional about how he handled mischarging us. We paid the full price ahead of time and they told us we over paid, so they gave us a discount on our open bar the night of the wedding. I actually asked them to double check because I was sure we didn't, but they insisted we did. Then when he called us to inform us we didn't pay enough days later he told my now husband that we knew what we owed and we were at fault. I was furious as anyone would be! Then he had the nerve to ask us to write a good review for them after he was very disrespectful to us. We resolved the situation but it put a bitter taste in my mouth and made our beautiful wedding day seem less than.
