I did this photo shoot for my husband for our 15 year anniversary. Catherine and Kelsey(make up and hair artist) make you feel very comfortable. I, personally, was not nervous, but if you are she makes you feel at ease. I've always wanted to do it and I'm glad I did.

Catherine was amazing to work with and made me feel beautiful and comfortable and besides being a fantastic photographer she doesn't d great make up too! My pictures turned out amazing!!

I am very glad that I chose Catherine for my recent boudoir photography session and I would highly recommend her to others. She just did an EXCELLENT job – I was super-happy with how the pictures turned out. I liked a very high number of the photos and definitely had a hard time picking out just my “favorites” for the final package. Kelsey did an amazing job with my hair and make-up, and was a great person to work with too. Catherine is experienced at setting up the poses and definitely chose shots that really made me look my best. She made sure each outfit photographed well (and some pretty darned sexy), and was very patient with me during the shoot. This was a brand new experience for me, and I could not have picked a better place to go – thank you so much, Catherine !

Catherine is awesome! I was so nervous about doing a shoot and she just made me feel so comfortable. Her studio is so cute and I loved the different back drops and set ups. Kelsey her make up artist was great too! I loved the way my hair and make up looked in the photos. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Catherine and her team! When I went to view my images I went in thinking I wouldn't find enough photos I like to fill a small book... I ended up loving so many I had to get the bigger book!

After thinking about doing a boudoir shoot for several years I finally talked myself into doing it. After looking through multiple avenues I kept coming across Catherine Kellie Studios, every review I read talked about an amazing photographer who not only managed to ease all worries and fears but captured stunning images that surpassed all expectations. I was in need of a confidence boost after a really rough patch and decided to take the leap, I entered Cats March Madness Contest and entered and won the same day! I was so excited but the excitement quickly turned into nerves. From the first email all the way past the shoot Cat calmed my nerves and made sure that I was comfortable with everything that we planned/did. After three hours in her studio I felt like a bombshell walking out the doors and had a whole new level of confidence for days afterwards. I talked about the experience for days, told anyone who would listen, and posted my sneak peek on Facebook, something I never ever expected to do BUT I was so proud of it. When it came time to view my photos the only thing I kept saying was "I just want one good picture from each outfit", to say I was blown away with what I saw is an understatement. Every single picture was amazing and far exceeded any expectation I had. I ended up loving all of them so much that it was impossible to choose just enough to fill a book and purchased a whole package instead. I will definitely be gong visiting Cat and Catherine Kellie Studios for many more shoots after the experience I had I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Getting boudoir photos taken is a wonderful gift idea for spouses or even just for yourself. It was a great experience and tons of fun. Catherine walks you through the entire process (teaches you how to pose) and does everything she can to help you look and feel your best. The results are stunning and you walk out feeing better about yourself to boot! I could not recommend her more!

My boudoir photo shoot with Catherine Kellie Studios was an amazing experience! Catherine is an absolute expert at what she does and so talented too! If you’ve never done a shoot like this, you might be understandably nervous like I was – but no worries necessary! Catherine is top notch and wonderful to work with. Her friendly and professional communications started well before my shoot, finding out my likes and dislikes, my expectations for the shoot, and giving me lots of details on how to plan all soothed my nerves.

When I arrived for my shoot, Catherine immediately set me at ease. She is so warm and welcoming that I immediately felt comfortable. My hair and makeup were expertly done, and looked amazing and exactly as I envisioned. I felt like a model during the photo shoot itself – Catherine assisted and directed my posing the entire time and coached me on my facial expressions too.

Best of all, the actual photos! WOW!! I was blown away by the shots and expressions that she captured. Catherine is an incredibly talented photographer! Overall an absolutely amazing, empowering experience that I highly recommend!!

Catherine is amazing beyond words and I WILL return for more sessions, products/gifts for my love, a little reminder of how beautiful I really am and she makes this sooooo easy!!
I have gained so much more than I expected when I arrived to her Birmingham studio (which is so beautiful and welcoming!!). I've gained back more confidence, self esteem, a beautiful friendship, and a reminder of my true beauty.
She has the type of personality that makes you feel welcome, very laid back and has a super cute sense of humor!! Her vision for her models are extraordinary and she knows exactly how you should be posing for the best photos.
I felt so sexy, fierce and just positively RADIANT!!! Between the hair (Thank you Larissa!!!) and makeup (Thank you Catherine!!!) I felt like a complete model and ready to kill some shots!!

I don't know if I could use words properly to express the feeling that came across my body while reviewing this, ART!!!
She knows exactly how to get you to show your personality in your poses and photos, I just can't!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Everyone will know how amazing she is if I have anything to do about it!!!

What a great experience! Catherine is an amazing person. I have always struggled with self image and confidence, but after my photo shoot, Catherine helped me see myself for the beautiful and sexy women I am. Going in I was a little nervous but by the time my hair and make-up was done I felt like I had known Catherine for years, She just has this way of making you feel comfortable and at home. I think I was more nervous the day of viewing my pictures. My husband and I meet with Catherine , She had I great slideshow put together for us to view all the pictures she captured. I have to say WOW I felt like I was seeing myself for the first time. She was able to capture expressions me nor my husband have ever seen. We were so impressed I know what we will be doing next year for our anniversary. Yup a couples shoot :) and I can't wait !!!

I purchased a Groupon for Catherine Kellie Studios. I contacted the company to schedule my appointment for a boudoir photo shoot and talked directly with Catherine. The communication was top notch. The pre-shoot process of Catherine gathering information about me, what I wanted and expected from the photo shoot, what I planned for my hair, questions about my favorite music was amazing. Her work started way before the actual shoot. Via email Catherine prepared me by explaining what I needed to bring with me and letting me know what to expect.

When I arrived, the studio was set up to personally welcome me. Some of my favorite music was playing! The makeup artist was amazing. I picked up lots of tips from her that I'm actually using in my daily makeup application. The photo shoot was a workout. Catherine's level of knowledge and high level of energy was astonishing. I never imagined being in some of the poses and it gave me a glimpse of the world of modeling.....It isn't easy....Lol!

Sitting down with Catherine to view my 60 plus photos was another personalized, pleasant experience. When I first saw my photos, I was elated to see myself looking so great! I was totally satisfied with the experience. The package I purchased was a well deserved gift to myself! A real self-esteem booster. The main thing I appreciated was the kind, concerned and pleasant demeanor that Catherine and her makeup artist displayed. It was worth every penny that I spent. I'd do it again in a heart beat!

Catherine exhibits the utmost in professionalism. She listens carefully, guides gently with an air of confidence that is contagious, exudes warmth and has an incredible eye behind the camera. I did boudoir photography for my boy friend. Catherine did a wonderful job! She made me feel very comfortable and assisted with helping me pose. I had a great time. The make up artist did a great job to( sorry wish I could remember her name).

Catherine Kellie is great at what she does! I always thought a boudoir shoot would be fun and help me build confidence however it was more than that! I felt completely comfortable the entire time I was in her studio. Her assistant who does makeup and hair was very professional and I immediately felt like a friend. I'd go back in a heartbeat and do it again! If you're looking to have a fun photoshoot whether boudoir or not, I'd go to Catherine Kellie!!

I decided to do a boudoir photo shoot for my fiancé's wedding present and was VERY nervous, but Catherine made me feel calm from her first contact with me. When I arrived at her studio she made me feel comfortable and confident immediately. Her hair and makeup artist, Melanie, transformed me into a vixen! Once we started the shoot Catherine gave me amazing direction and I felt SO sexy! I recently viewed my images for purchase and had trouble deciding which photos to choose because they were all amazing! For my upcoming 50th Birthday, I decided to celebrate me and share my celebration with my special sweetie, by taking Boudoir Shots. I chose Catherine Kellie Studios because of the Groupon offer and the examples of her work on her website. The fact that I went over my budget is a testament to Catherine's work. The poses, which I questioned and complained about, were elegant and tasteful. No model needs to worry about me wanting their job. I took 60 shots; 50 - 55 of the shots I liked. The studio is clean, comfortable and intimate. Her makeup artist was perfect and did not have me looking like a clown. Both women were personable, fun, likeable and made me feel very comfortable. The comments I heard after sharing some of the photos were you look hot, beautiful, good and from my sweetie, he loved them. If I wasn't comfortable in my skin I would question their opinions of me before the shoot. SMILE. You will not regret choosing Catherine Kellie Studios as your photographer for your special event.

Catherine Kellie is a top-notch talented professional! And on top of that, she's warm, engaging, and supportive. She made my boudoir photo shoot a much more fun, comfortable, and empowering experience than I ever thought it would be! I also have to give her props for being really understanding and flexible in re-scheduling my shoot when I realized I forgot my lingerie outfits when I was already enroute to the studio! While I'm sure it was not an ideal situation for her, she was so understanding, and worked with me to quickly find another date that worked for us both. A week after my shoot, I returned to review my images, and I was blown away! The proofs were gorgeous and I can't wait to receive my order to give to my husband-to-be as his wedding gift!
