Amazing food and service - highly recommend!

We hired Lisa to cater our daughter's outdoor wedding on 7-2-22. Her menu selection was vast, the food and service were awesome & Lisa was easy to work with. We also hired the bartending service, which was also great. During and after the wedding we heard nothing but positive comments about the food & service and we highly recommend Lisa and Catering the Wright Way for any event.

Great Food and Flexible Choices

Lisa was great to work with! She provides a large menu to pick from with up front prices to make your menu work both for your style of food and your budget. Our guests particularly enjoyed the brisquet! Her staff also worked very well with our china rental place and got our dishes to a state that they were very happy with! Would definitely recommend her catering services for your wedding day.

Lisa was amazing. She was easy to work with always responded within a day to my emails/calls. On the wedding day they made everything easy.

They food was amazing, with a lot of options at a reasonable price.

Excellent food and service

We had our daughters graduation party catered and everyone raved about the food. We had bbq chicken and my father is the biggest chicken critic and he loved it!! We had potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans, meatballs and veggie and fruit platters. Everything was delicious and the fruit dip was also amazing!!! Highly recommend!!!

Lisa and her team are amazing!

Me and my now Husband hired Lisa for our wedding on May 29th 2021. When we went for our tasting we knew immediately we found our caterer. Not only is the food absolutely delicious but Lisa is so professional and friendly! Me and my mother in law fell in love with her mozzarella chicken, among other items. We made a menu together getting all our questions answered quickly, and even getting some items added for us. Lisa was super helpful the entire process, giving us very good suggestions not only on food but presentation as well. We also used her services for our bar and her bar servers were also a delight to work with! Lisa knew our beverages were mostly wine and beer so she gave us the option to make wine slushies which turned into a hit with our guest (including me and my husband)! She made certain we got the best value for our money the entire way, for both our bar and food options. We knew we had nothing to worry about, Lisa blew us away. I will continue to recommend her to everyone I know, if you need a caterer who will communicate with you, deliver delicious food, and go above and beyond all of your expectations, hire Lisa.

We were so happy that we found Catering the Wright way! They arrived on time and were quick setting up. Everything looked amazing and very well setup! Our guests were all impressed and loved all the food! They were able to accommodate our petite wedding perfectly! Couldn't have asked for better! Would 100% recommend!

Amazing food, great service and friendly faces.

My husband and I met with Lisa for our first tasting and knew that she was a perfect fit for us. We discussed menu items that we wanted and she was able to accommodate our every want. She answered all of our questions with honest answers and felt like she was there to help us make the best decisions we could make for our special day . I planned my wedding during a pandemic which was pretty much the worst thing ever since our venue cancelled on us and we had to move locations. Thankfully, Lisa and her team were still able to cater our backyard wedding. They made feeding a wedding of 130 people in the middle of pandemic look easy. From masks to sanitizer stations everything went down beautifully and I cannot express my gratitude more . 5 Stars all the way.

Very accommodating!

We loved Lisa, she was willing to work within our budget as we were doing a DIY wedding and she made it customized for our wants and needs. The grazing table we asked for looked amazing and the food was actually really good! Definitely worth every penny. We also used Catering the Wright Way for bartending and they were awesome!

I had so many questions and different ideas and Lisa was open to all my suggestions and willing to work with me to make them happen. The food was delicious and everyone raved about it and the staff was accommodating and professional. I’d highly recommend them!

Amazing Experience! Great Tasting food!

Lisa did an AMAZING job catering our wedding. She was super flexible & offered multiple tasting options when we were unsure which entree's we wanted. Her staff were very polite and professional. On our Wedding day, our food display was SOO gorgeous and it beyond exceeded our expectations. If you choose this caterer, you will NOT be disappointed!!

So much Beautiful Delicious food!!!

We hired Catering the Wright way to provide the grazing table for our wedding, and Lisa did not disappoint! The food was as beautiful as it was plentiful and delicious. Lisa was great to work with, very responsive and flexible which was a relief considering the ever changing guidelines for COVID-19. I would heartily recommend her for any event you are planning!

Excellent service and value

Lisa and her crew were wonderful to work with. We changed guest counts and menu items due to COVID-19 and Lisa was able to accommodate everything. The brisket was amazing. Lisa also re-whipped the icing for our diy cupcakes and displayed our desserts even though she did not make them.

Everything You Need !!!!! Incredible !!!!!

Lisa was amazing throughout our entire wedding planning process. She was so helpful with making adjustments to the menu, working within our budget and being so responsive. Lisa was patient with me and my questions and always had a solution when I felt stuck on something. She made sure to find out the style of my wedding so that her dishes would match the aesthetic we had going. She took the initiative to go out to the venue since she has never been there before and made sure that everything was mapped out. Lisa and her staff on my wedding day were incredible!! Everyone loved the food, especially the pot roast!! The bartenders were so fun and were keeping the party going! Lisa went above & beyond and helped make my wedding day perfect. I highly recommend her and her team!!!

Phenomenal flexibility and value!

We booked Catering the Wright Way to set up a grazing table following a family wedding at our family farm. They brought with them the most stunning table, and filled it with the largest array of beautiful food we'd ever seen! Additionally, since it was a little cool, they brought hot apple cider, and other things we didn't specifically order, just to make all guests feel very comfortable and cozy. Their flexibility and the value they provide are second to none!

We ran into weather related problems and had to switch venue the morning of the event. The caterers worked with me and help find another venue and didn't charge anything for all the changes.

Grazing Table Extravaganza!

Lisa and her team could not have made the catering aspect of my wedding any easier! They are responsive, courteous, and on top of everything. Easy to work with!

Lisa was always willing to answer any questions we had and work with us! We had quite a few young children attending our wedding and she was very flexible. The food was wonderful, especially the roasted potatoes!! I would highly recommend!

Wonderful Service, Wonderful Food

Lisa was amazing to work with and she did such a wonderful job at our wedding. All of the guests loved her food and she was easily able to accommodate our vegan and gluten free guests! A Feast for All

Lisa Wright is willing to go the extra mile to make your wedding feast delicious, gorgeous and heartwarming. She met with us at our venue for a tasting which rocked our world and then helped to plan a menu that catered to everyone's appetite. On the Wedding day, she was flexible and needed very little direction when it came to setting up and preparing for the dinner. She and her staff were attentive, helpful and kept a watchful eye on both the appetizers and buffet, ensuring everyone had their fill. Lisa was everything I hoped she would be and needed her to be on my Wedding day. You could not ask for a better caterer.

Excellent Food & Service

I hired Catering the Wright Way for my wedding in September of 2018, and they went above and beyond the catered to my every need. The food was by far the best i ever had, (as a wedding photographer I've tried several caterers) and even my guest raved about the food there after the wedding! The staff was so lovely and professional and very prompt in delivering food when it was time. Everything was very neat, clean and organized! I would highly recommend them for any event or party!

Lisa and her team helped make our wedding the great success that it was! We had an overwhelming amount of guests telling us how amazing the food was. She is a wonderful person and was willing to meet with us at our home and venue for tastings. She was available any time during the planning process that I needed to speak with her - from the menu, guests with dietary restrictions, and the set up. The food was amazing. Lisa and her team put together 7 food stations and butler passed appetizers. My husband and I have family and friends with different ethnic food preferences. Our stations included an Italian station, Jamaican/Caribbean station, a soul food station, a kid station, and salad station. The stations were all amazing. Our guest are still calling us to tell us how much they loved the food. The reception was spread out accross 3 floors of a mansion and her team still made it look flawless. She was so easy to talk with and plan. She helped our vision come to life. I would work with her again in a heartbeat

Lisa and her team were amazing from start to finish. The food was perfect and tasted great. We got tons of compliments on her sauces for our pasta bar. It was presented beautifully also. I 100% recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a caterer in this area.

Lisa was extremely responsive to my questions and concerns. Not to mention- it's so reasonably priced! We had the brisket and garlic lemon chicken and it was AMAZING! People are still raving about the food. My only suggestion if you choose Lisa is to order yourself extra! We had brisket the day after our wedding and just savoired every bite. I would choose Catering the Wright Way in a heartbeat!

We used Catering the wright way on our wedding day in September. After our original caterer ditched us last minute Lisa made it possible to cater our wedding even though they had a very large wedding on the same day. We are so thankful to have found them and were even more pleased with how delicious the food was. All of our guests kept complimenting on how wonderful everything was. We would definitely recommend them and we would definitely use them again.

Lisa and her crew were perfect! Their professionalism was exquisite along with the food. E erything was hot and delicious, great and unique flavors. The food was Great! Everyone was talking about the Mozzerala chicken, chili & corn bread. The only disappointment was I didn't take more of that chicken. It was so Good!!! I had family that was gluten free & vegetarians. Lisa made a dish for them so they could share in our special day.

Lisa was extremely accommodating and helpful in creating our perfect wedding menu. She went out of her way to make sure we had the perfect dinnerware for our theme, and even provided a cake knife when we forgot ours! If you want a stress-free catering service, choose Catering the Wright Way!

Catering the Wright Way definitely did not disappoint! We went with a pig roast for our wedding with mashed potatoes, carrots and corn bread for our dinner as well as stuffed mini peppers and a charcuterie plate for appetizers. Everything was delicious and all of our guests loved the food.

We first met Catering The Wright Way at a Wedding Expo. We enjoyed the tasting they offered, especially the mini- stuffed peppers. Our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner was enjoyed by all of our guests, especially the Bride and Groom. Thank you Lisa for catering our event and making it a memorable evening!!

I hired Lisa to do our class reunion. She was very helpful in pulling to ether a menu that suits all people. I am a vegetarian myself but was told the beef brisket was awesome and I know her pulled pork is also awesome. Her staff did a great job keeping the food table looking nice and filled with food and also cleaned up nicely. The desert she made us was to die for....Thanks Lisa...I will hire her again.

I cannot talk highly enough about Catering the Wright Way! Lisa is absolutely AMAZING! The food was perfect, I still think about our wedding dinner, and it was 8 months ago! She was extremely professional and prepared for absolutely EVERYTHING. I had no worries about the food because Lisa made sure I knew that she would have everything taken care of. She truly goes above and beyond for her customers. She is so sweet and has an infectious personality. My mother and I both were instantly hooked! Catering The Wright Way catered our wedding reception at Pine Cradle Lake on August 2, 2014.

Lisa Wright and her staff exceeded our expectations! She had a beautifully decorated table and a glorious fruit and veggie bar to keep our guests entertained while we had pictures taken to remember our day. I have had so many compliments about the fruit and veggie bar and the delicious meal that followed.

Couldn’t have asked for better!

Great staff and great food!

Working with Catering the Wright Way was such a joy! We met with Lisa months before making our decision and she provided us with a great selection of food we were interested in tasting and talked us through her contract. She kept in contact with us in the weeks prior to our wedding and was very understanding when some last minute changes occurred. While Lisa was not in attendance of our wedding due to another wedding that day, the staff she sent were phenomenal! They were very kind and did such a good job with everything, including cleaning up the area of the venue they used after they were done. The way they set up the buffet table and appetizer table really fit with the look we were going for. Overall, our experience was really great and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Try to schedule your tasting when they aren’t in the middle of the busy season! Our tasting was mid June and after a big event so there was not much sauce left to accompany our tasting. (Not that you really needed sauce for that fireman’s chicken!)

I live four hours away from where our wedding venue was so I did majority of my correspondence through emails and Lisa was super accommodating! They traveled almost two hours to our venue and were perfectly on time. Not a single guest at my wedding had a bad word to say about the food, everyone said it was AMAZING!! All of the girls were super nice and they left nothing behind when they cleaned up (other than our leftovers, of course!). I only gave 4/5 for being "put together" because I was under-quoted and wound up owing $150 extra the day of, which thankfully we had left in our budget. Other than that though, was wonderful!

We used Catering the Wright Way for our wedding. We were able to customize a menu for cocktail hour and dinner with the selections that Lisa offered which was what we were looking for. She was very easy to work with and had good ideas for how the menu should be put together with substitutions or additions. She was able to meet us at the reception location for two tasting (one for proteins, one for sides) where we decided on what the menu would be and review many of the day of details. Day of, her team was ready to go, they kept everything very well stocked during cocktail hour and dinner. Every time I looked over at the food during cocktail hour, it was full! Her team was able to bus tables for us and provide assistance in putting out dessert as well.

We were happy with the food! The smoked wings & stuffed peppers were great during cocktail hour. The smoked turkey & cheesy chicken were both very tasty and I can not even tell you how many people loved the pig roast! They packed up the leftovers for us as well. For the money, the food was an excellent value.

Wonderful service!

My husband, guests, and I were very happy with Catering the Wright Way and their services! I was extremely happy with how well they were willing to work with us when we asked them to do a few additional tasks to help finish the table set up for dinner. We had also asked for one of our dishes to be made gluten free in order to fit some of the needs of our guests. Their food was delicious and exactly what we had asked for! Great food, horrible attitude

Leading up to our wedding, Lisa was great to work with, but at our wedding, her staff was rude to guests on several occasions. At one point, the staff gave one of our guests a trash bag to change since a trash can was full! That should've been something the staff took care of, not our guests. Additionally, the bartenders were “unaware” that they had to serve anything other than beer and wine, even though we had communicated that there would be all three

Started off great with tasting her food at a bridal show, however the samples she brought for us when deciding our menu were not up to par. After deciding on the menu we attempted to contact her to confirm and it was near to impossible. Finally the day of she showed up on time and was set up within reason. The pulled pork was good and we also had corn on the cob, the corn was not great but it's difficult to find good sweet corn if you don't know what you're looking for. The barbecued chicken was as well awesome but the baked beans were undercooked by a lot but had good flavor still. The fruit, you could tell was cut to soon but overall the food was not bad. The price is where I am not happy. It was much to pricey for the quality of food and we got charged a $200 delivery charge that was not in the contract and most definitely not Discussed. All in all we won't be using their services again.

Highly disappointed with service and price gouging

After signing a contract over a year ago with Catering The Wrong Way, they decided to raise their prices recently. Although, I could understand that all prices were going up for food what I couldn’t swallow was not only did the food prices go up between 33 to 67%, depending on the item, the bar tender fee went up $20.00 per hour and they increased their gratuity percentage. When I called the owner to tell her my disappointment with the increase in bar tender per hour fee and gratuity %, I was given the excuse that her insurance went up, of which I knew she could allocate across every event. I was also told that I was free to find someone else to cater. Seriously?!?
Fruit went from $3.00 per person to $5.00 per person....then add 6% tax and then add 20% gratuity. I purchased enough strawberries, grapes, watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew for the 120 guests and paid ~$125.00 compared to the $756.00 I would have paid them. Talk about price gouging!
The bar tenders had the audacity to put a tip jar out.…even though I already paid the 20% gratuity. There were no stipulations on the bar service prior to the event. As the bar tender was setting up, I went over to see if there was anything I could do to help them. I was given a crappy attitude because they were only prepared to serve beer and wine. The bar tender told me this was her first time bar tending and wasn’t told she’d have to make mixed drinks.
The salad was served in a dessert bowl and if you were not seated at the time they placed the salads at the table, you did not get one.

Unfortunately, given the last two years of cancelled weddings, people are now “catching up” and availability of another caterer was not an option.

The impact was not hundreds of dollars, it was thousands of dollars. Money was one thing but bad attitudes/service all around put me over the edge.
