  Best Kosher Caterer in Town

  You really aren't going to beat these guys for value. We got lots of compliments on our food stations. The team made sure there was something for everybody, and worked really well with our florist to make sure the room looked amazing. They also made menu adjustments 1.5 months out without charging us extra, which was appreciated.

  Yaffa catered both of my daughters' weddings. I have never seen them have a bad day. The way the cocktails and the tables were laid out were just beautiful. The food is just amazing. So delicious and tasty. Three weeks after the wedding and we are still getting calls on how wonderful the food was. Yaffa and his wife, Shula are just a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend this kosher caterer.

  They were a pleasure to deal with, the food was incredibly good, and we wouldn't use anyone else and will recommend them to everyone we know.

  Yaffa Catering is the BEST!
  The food was incredible and NOT a financial burden! They had fun with the theme and added so much to the event it was incredible!

  Yaffa and Shula were a pleasure to work with. We got so many compliments about the food, both about the quantity and quality. They're inexpensive but delicious, and definitely provide a professional and formal feel to their service. The staff they hire to serve and bartend at the event like working with the two of them, and it shows in their work - they're professional and polished. Everything was beautiful, thanks to Yaffa and Shula. Thank you so much!

  I have heard many people say that kosher food isnt good. They have never been to an affair catered by Yaffa. His food is amazing and he listened to all of my out of the box requests. My day turned out perfect and he is to thank for a lot of that.

  Yaffa and Shula are amazing, wonderful, creative people who put together a spectacular kosher menu for our wedding. They worked with us to determine exactly what we wanted, which included yummy taste testing, and served a spectacular meal which was enjoyed by all, even those who had never eaten Kosher food before and those who were prepared not to like it. Plus, 2 days after our wedding, they gave us a car full of leftovers! We would recommend Yaffa, Shula (who does the menu plannning) and their amazing staff for any simcha!!!! Oh and they fell right in line with our budget - they have many price levels and options, depending on what you want to accomplish. We love them!!!!!!

  I cannot say enough good things about Yaffa. Both he and his wife were so patient and easy to deal with. They answered all my questions (more than once sometimes!), were extremely flexible (I changed my mind a few times), and were incredibly detail oriented like me! My wedding was the day after a hurricane and they were there early in the morning, checking out the site, making sure everything was in order! The food was spectacular as well.

  Working with Yaffa and Shula was a lot of fun. There thoughtfulness and creativity helped us create a menu that really reflected the things we wanted. They were extremely affordable (for a kosher wedding in Washington) yet all our guests from Toronto and New York said that it was by far the best food they've had at a wedding! To top it off, they are genuinely nice and enthusiastic people who care about each event.

  When the in-laws come running over to say how great the food is, you really know that you have found the right caterer. Yaffa was with us in the planning all the way through. He worked closely with us on menu and provided a ton of staff to make the service and presentation beautiful. All strictly kosher. And all for a reasonable price. He's the best.

  When your New York relatives comment on the quality, appearance, and abundance of the food at your Baltimore wedding you know you have succeeded. Catering by Yaffa was professional, a pleasure to work with, always concerned about my bottom line, and produced both cocktail hour and reception food that was a pleasure to both the eye and the palate. I would definitely use them again.

  I was very happy with the end result of the catering at my wedding. There were a few snags along the way, especially in the weeks leading up to my wedding, when we had difficulty coming up with a schedule and layout that worked for everyone. Even though the prep was rushed and stressful, at the end of the day though, the food was excellent and Yaffa did everything he could to make my day perfect. He even provided some extra dishes at the cocktail hour and stayed 15 minutes over without charging us. I got many, many compliments on how excellent the food was, just next time don't serve challah with sesame seeds when you know the bride is allergic!

  Disappointing!

  We hired Yaffa to cater our wedding when they were under their old management because they had great reviews, and unfortunately they sold the business to new owners after we signed the contract but before the wedding day. I was extremely disappointed with them for many reasons. They had poor customer service, they messed up multiple things on the wedding day, and they tried to overcharge for every little thing. I asked them if they could set up a small champagne tower and they said it would cost $1,000 simply to stack the glasses. Nevermind the fact that we provided our own alcohol! When we tried to address our concerns about the ridiculous overcharges directly, they threatened to cancel the contract. They also brought the wrong linens after multiple emails about it. The food was mediocre as well, the chef offered to create a dessert taco inspired by the chaco taco ice cream, and instead they provided an unappealing pile of stuff dumped on the plate (see picture). It was a terrible experience. Avoid!
