Best dj ever

If you are looking for a DJ to make your wedding fun and get people dancing, JD is your guy. He is absolutely amazing and will go above and beyond to make your day amazing. I am so glad we found him for our wedding. He made sure I didn't have to worry about anything and made everything flow very naturally. We had to switch up a couple of things last minute and he made it look so seamless and no one even noticed that anything change, it was amazing. Cant say enough good things about him. If you're looking for the best DJ ever, your search is over

Fantastic wedding DJ!!

To be brief and to the point. We were very impressed with JD's well planned out organization skills. He did an exceptional job! It was very relaxing and and his DJ skills we're quite entertaining. I would definitely recommend him to all my family and friends.

BEST DJ EVER! ? JD was so professional and fun and customized my event to exactly what I wanted, he made my vision come to life! His attention to detail was awesome. He was such a pleasure to work with. The lights were so cool and the photo booth was so much fun! The quality and the value was so awesome! Would recommend to everyone! World class DJ!

Hands down best experience ever! We had been on the hunt for a DJ, found 2 that we emailed & called and NEVER got a response....so I was starting to get a little worried and freaked out we would never find one (since we couldn't even get 2 we found to respond)....I asked our photographer for help on a good DJ, she was quick to respond with JD the DJ, nothing but positive things to say about him! We quickly contacted him, & met up at Starbucks! The minute we met him we could tell this was going to be awesome, he even got my husband who is the shyest person ever when it comes to having the attention on him to dance just about the whole night!!! (Did i mention he doesn't dance either?!) & even did a surprise groomsmen dance for me INFRONT OF EVERYONE! ?? I was & still am absolutely amazed with it all!!!

Our wedding was on July 17th, & we are still getting guests compliment us on having such an awesome DJ, who was able to get the guests out there and moving & having a great time the whole night.
Not to mention, THEY LOVED HIS PHOTOBOOTH.

JD is a treasure of a person and an absolutely AMAZING DJ. I was nervous that someone could please my very diverse family, but JD, owner of Catch the Beat Productions, kept the crowd going and selected music that fit our wedding so perfectly. All of the extras that he brings truly made our wedding amazing - he walked through the venue with me to help decide where to put the ceremony aisle, and pretty much how to set-up everything, so that the night flowed smoothly. And it did! He is not just a DJ but a coordinator extraordinaire. He helped develop and implement a timeline for us. He also realized that we needed drinks during our wedding photos and brought them to us. Our guests stayed the whole night, so much so that we had a double send-off line, with 40+, at 9 pm! All of this is to the credit of JD. Hire him, and you will not be disappointed.

Jd did a phenomenal job at my wedding. He was very helpful from start to finish . He even gave my bride and I great advice for planning our wedding also. Jd and his staff were extremely professional and knew how to keep the reception (party) going untill the end. After meeting with Jd a few times before the wedding, I knew that my bride and I had nothing to worry about during the reception. He knew what had to be done and when.. Extremely pleased with Catch The Beat. I highly recommend him to all my family and friends for anything needing entertainment . People still talk about the reception/party from our wedding 17yrs later.

Great DJ!! Kept the party rolling way past where I thought it would go! Music videos for the dance floor, up lighting, photobooth, the works! My guests and I had so much fun! When my friends get engaged I will be reminding them of the great time we all had at my wedding!!

Jd has done our work Christmas party and personally rented his helium tank for my daughters birthday party. He not only delivered and picked up on his own time but was an amazing DJ and I would recommend him for any event/party. Very friendly, outgoing, and gets the party going!! The photo booth was a huge hit. Great idea for any party!!

He did our class reunion and it was superb!! He played all the right music, helped plan it. The photo booth was a HUGE hit as we were able to see them on facebook. Sunday at the picnic was so amazing, Catch The Beat provided all the entertainment from a bounce house, snocone, cotton candy, and popcorn, they even had amazing face painters and magicians. It was a nice one stop shop. Would do research for us and get back to us in a timely manner. Love JD & his crew.

JD was 100% professional and attended to every need we had. From start to finish, this was hands down one of the best entertainment decisions we have ever made.
If your worried about your clients or guests not having fun, do not be one bit. JD knows exactly how to get everyone up and dancing, there will not be a spot on the dance floor left.

The photo booth is an absolute must, when the party is over, and you realize, oh we never took any pictures, well he has that covered for you. You will be able to remember that awesome party you had for years to come.

If there is any question as to hire JD or not hire JD, the only answer is YES times 10.

We hired JD and his crew to work our company Christmas party and are soooo glad we did!! He kept everyone engaged though out the entire evening. He is spontaneous, flexible, and funny. His staff is friendly and eager to help in any way they can. We included the photobooth in our package which was a huge hit (comes with a great selection of props!) Our employee's referred to our party as the best ever... and I attribute that to JD and his crew! Thanks to all :-)

My guests are still talking about my wedding and it's almost a month later! Everyone had a great time dancing and all enjoyed the photo booth, I have over 400 pictures from it! Thank you Jd for making my day so special, the dry ice dance and bubbles were a great addition to our first dance!

Very professional and very upbeat. He has the ability to bring together groups of people no matter how diverse. Offers a wide range of services to meet most of your event needs.

Our unique service was that he offers bar tending as well.

Also this was a 10 year class reunion.

JD came through for us on our wedding day and made everything flow wonderfully. He was energetic and on point with the atmosphere of the entire event. He provided great music, assisted with flow of events for ceremony and reception, handled himself superbly with this stress ball bride. All my guests had a wonderful time! He had so many little touches that he added that put the whole reception beyond our expectations. It would have never been nearly as fun with out JD and I definitely recommend him! I already have to fellow brides-to-be, friends & family for all events. He went above and beyond what we asked for him. The photo booth and all the props is a must. He is so personable and easy to get along with. He has so much experience he makes the whole planning process a breeze. He is not afraid of bridezillas and even knows how to get them to mellow out on the day of. JD was an essential part of our wedding and we will never forget what he did for us.

JD is so easy and fun to work with. From the planning stages where he's willing to tell you there might be a better way, through the run-up to the event, where fluidity and a sense of humor are sometimes the only way to get through.

Every event has it's own set of issues and JD is always available to do what ever's needed, even if it's just being someone to reassure you everything will work out.

And once your event begins, JD becomes the man behind the curtain. Creating an environment that gets everybody going. Loud, subtle, rock, jazz, even the oldies.

I've never had a DJ have so many different (some wacky) games for adults to play but found myself thoroughly and constantly entertained whether I was participating or just watching by the sidelines, it was so much fun!

Everyone complimented JD! They said he was the best part of our wedding. He really impressed my husband which is super hard to do. We loved having karaoke which only JD was able to do! I love to rap, my husband is a good singer, and many of our guests love to sing. JD also made sure the day had a great flow without a hitch. If you want a fun, stores free wedding everyone will talk about, hire JD ASAP!

JD the DJ was the dj at my sisters wedding. When she told me she was spending a good amount of $ on music I thought she was crazy but I must say he was worth every penny! JD is more than just music he literally ran the show, he even walked us through rehearsal I was more than impressed....from the sound quality to all the lighting (we won't mention the rubber chicken props he provided for the grooms performance at the reception) he provided everything. He truly did it all. JD made the reception fantastic, he is very fun and outgoing but most of all professional and courteous. I highly recommend JD the DJ/Catch the beat....he will definitely be the dj at my wedding!

JD is amazing I have had the pleasure of having him provide entertainment services to many events and each time was very impressed with him he is a great entertainer and always looking to make people happy. I get comments still and our wedding was 5 yrs ago.. Everyone had the best time because of catch the beat.. JD is an amazing dj I recommend him to everyone he's not just a dj he's an awesome planner.he was a big help to us he helped with getting things ordered and all ready! He knows how to keep a crowd going we had to beg the owners of the venue to let us pay for another hour cause everyone was having such a good time.. Thanks for making our wedding a great one!!

Everyone at our wedding had an awesome time due to the amazing job of JD the DJ. He got everyone onto the dance floor in no time flat and everyone had such a fun time they complemented us on the entire event afterwards. Plenty of "that was the best wedding I've been to, never bored" comments from relatives and friends I talked with afterwards. One of my friends that is getting married next year has already talked about booking him.

I HIGHLY recommend Catch The Beat for any or your future DJ needs.

What a great company party thanks to JD & Catch The Beat! They were a HUGE part of the party fun & energy. JD was flexible with our needs, was spot on with his suggestions, & was on the floor helping us all with our dance moves. The night was a hit with all ages. They were organized with set up & take down, & came with such amazing props for the photo booth. We heard great things about Catch The Beat, & we were not disappointed - I am confident that you won't be either! Catch The Beat & Catch The Fun!

JD the DJ - July 2021 Wedding

JD was our DJ for our wedding in North Seattle. We hired him pre-covid, and he was very flexible in working with us as we changed both dates and venues. In the weeks leading up to our event, JD was very busy and not always responsive to our questions, but every time we spoke with him, we had helpful, thorough conversation. We wanted to highlight that on the day of our wedding, JD was excellent to work with, going above and beyond to try to assist, not just with the emcee and music responsibilities, but also assisting with issues that arose with other vendors. We appreciated his flexibility, his hustle, and his attentiveness to our needs, adapting on the fly.
