  Cat tail photography is the best! After looking at over 40 photography businesses we decided to go with Lisa. We just got our engagement session done over the weekend and by the next day she had pictures posted. She is very outgoing and fun! She makes you feel comfortable and just have fun taking pictures. We have already received so many compliments about how amazing our photos are. She knew what I was looking for. She travel to Cincinnati to make my dream photos come true. She is such a pleasure to work with! She is everything we have ever wanted and more! I can't wait to see her work on our wedding day!! Thanks for going above and beyond!!!

  Buyer beware!

  Chris was the photographer at my son’s wedding. Lisa was also there, filming on her phone. They couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful at the wedding. The problems began after the wedding. The wedding was on December 27, 2018. On February 22, 2019 my son and daughter-in-law were sent a Facebook message with their photos to download. When I booked the photographer I was promised the photos on a flash drive. I asked about the flash drive and was told it would be mailed to me, but that she thought the bride and groom would like the photos ASAP. When my daughter-in-law tried to download the photos she couldn’t because she needed a code that was never sent. When I inquired about this I was told she had emailed it to my son and daughter-in-law. This was a lie and impossible because she never had their email addresses. When they were finally able to download the photos they did not appear to be edited in any way. They were not in any order. Random photos jumping from reception to pre-wedding to ceremony and back and forth. Also the quality was poor. Meant photos were over exposed washing out the color of my son’s uniform. My daughter-in-law was able to photo shop them, but she shouldn’t have had to! As of today (15 weeks later),I still have never received the flash drive that was promised, that was part of the package I paid for. I have reached out MANY times and been told either it was mailed, or I’m mailing it today. I don’t expect I’ll ever get it. So disappointing. So unprofessional!

  Video Only

  We booked a video package July for my wedding back in October. When the videographer arrived at my wedding she immediately began filming without introducing herself to any of us. We assumed she was a relative we had not met until someone finally had to go up and ask her.
  
  Besides that, the video was filmed on an iPhone. Let me make this clear, I was never told my wedding video would be filmed on an iPhone. If I would have known this I would have had one of my college friends film and edit it for a much cheaper price. There was some professional camera equipment set up during the ceremony that made it into about 10 seconds of our video, all the rest was iPhone only. The video concentrated unnecessarily long (20-30 seconds of a 4 min video) just on one of our two flower girls.
  
  Lastly we were only given a YouTube link where we could access our video, no hard copy. When we reached out to ask questions it took weeks to get a response.
  
  Overall- do not recommend. You live and you learn. Just be aware of what you are getting before you pay up front for something.

  Do Not Use

  Lisa was hired to take our wedding pictures and she never took a single picture. Instead we got two amateurs that were more worried about special lighting then taking our wedding pictures. We got our pictures back after 9 weeks and I am not sure any editing was done. Our photos were horrible. My husband and I did not have one single picture that looked professional. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

  I used Cat Tail Photography for my wedding video. This was the worst company I have ever used. The owner is extremely rude. The contract stated I would receive my wedding video in 3 weeks then she told me 4-5 weeks and I think I finally got it around 9 weeks after many messages of her coming up with excuses. The "main videographer" used a cell phone, but the owner told me that was only for high lights. I just watched the raw footage I paid for of the ceremony and it is so awful. First off, it was taken on a tiny little camera the average person has, and taken by what I would guess to be maybe a 14 year old boy. The camera is moving around the whole time, up and down and you can't hear anything. For the high light film that I didnt even get, and it was only posted on facebook was awful! Some of the pictures go by so fast you can't even see them.My photographers had to hunt down the girl taking the video on her cell phone half the time because we couldn't find her. If i could rate them a negative number I would. Literally the worst service we ever had. Please dont book them for videography. It is a waste of money.
