Great photos and customer service!

My bride-to-be and I aren't experienced in photography but Marylin's team were really nice and gave us easy instructions to follow to get great engagement photos. They also picked out a gorgeous location that was close by. Highly recommend!

Great service

Such sweet people! We worked with Damion and he was so nice and professional. Arrived early to look for the best spots for our photos and was happy to work with us! We had both a mock engagement shoot & some more eclectic photos taken with our dirt bikes. Great website to receive our photos afterwards as well

Beautiful work!

Marilyn and Team were wondering to work with! My husband and I had so much fun with her at our engagement shoot, and the photos are absolutely beautiful! Her knowledge of photography and lighting is impressive. On our wedding day, she brought a whole team to capture all of the special moments and details. We are very happy with how the photos turned out, and loved our wedding video just as much. Definitely recommend!

So many wonderful pictures to choose from!

Castorina Photography and Films were the photographers for my daughter’s wedding. Marilyn and her team were very organized, creative and professional. They met with the bride and groom for an engagement session prior to the wedding. Those pictures were beautiful and artistic. We knew the wedding pictures would be amazing. On their wedding day, Marilyn and her team captured wonderful pictures from the bridal party getting ready to the firework send off. I especially love the candid ones of friends and family laughing and rejoicing during the day. Thank you Castorina Photography and Films for lovely memories.

Marilyn was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. She was informative and professional. She was my wedding photographer on 12/8/18 and she did an amazing job. I am very happy with my photos. I also received my photos back 2 weeks earlier then estimated which I was ecstatic about!!

I can't even begin to write how much I loved our wedding video. I actually had to watch the video so many times before I could write this review because of the tears wouldn't stop flowing. My wedding day was so incredibly hectic due to the weather resulting in change of plans and feeling stressed in general. The day felt like a blur as my mind was somewhere else instead of enjoying the moments. Watching the video brought back all the positive and joyous moment of that day which I seemed to have forgotten. The video experience was so powerful that it felt like I was transported back to that day and got to experience all the love, fun, energy without the stress. I can't recommend Castorina Photography and Films enough, They are incredibly professional, kind, fun and perfect for capturing the essence of anyone's special day. I had an Indian wedding which was an all day long affair and they captured perfectly all the essential moments. It was apparent from the final product how much Castorina films puts in their heart and soul and go out of their way to make the couple feel special. So many of my family and friends have complimented the video and others have mentioned that the production was so realistic that they felt like they were there with us. Thank you so much for the wedding video as it was more than anything I could have ever imagined and asked for. If I could I would choose you over and over again <3!

wow. what a wedding. I cant imagine any other photographer could have captured our day as special as Marilyn and her staff. After 3 wedding conventions we came across Castorina. I knew the minute we started talking to Marilyn that she was meant to do our wedding. She made our day fun and captured every moment of our wedding with great detail and professionalism. I would recommend her to any one looking for a real person to be there for you on your special day. Weddings are so commercialized these days you feel like a number or a ticket taker waiting in line for the next vendor. Marilyn made it feel like family and that we cant thank her enough for it!

Words can not describe how wonderful it was to work with marilyn and her team. They got every shot I wanted and more. I would recommendher a thousand times over and will use her for all family photos.

Marilyn and her team were fantastic!! They were a pleasure to work with on our wedding day. They were fun to interact with but also behind the scenes when needed. A photographer is really the only vendor that will be by your side all day and Marilyn took charge, directing me when needed and helping keep us on schedule, but also being flexible when certain activities changed timelines throughout the day. We received our pictures back from Castorina FAST! They were absolutely beautiful and the team captured so many special moments from our big day. Highly recommend!!

Where do I begin, our experience with Castorina Photography and Cinematography from start to finish was amazing and stress free. I gave Castorina Photography & Films a 5/5 because they truly are one of the best photographers we have ever worked with. They made us feel comfortable through all of the shots, were very easy to talk/work with, and they have an exceptional eye for detail that is so hard to find. Out of all our photos there were rarely any that we didn't like and all of them captured our wedding beautifully with a great story to tell. I would definitely recommend Marilyn and her team for any weddings/engagements shoots. You will not be disappointed!

Marilyn and her team did a wonderful job photographing our wedding! She was very organized and helped me develop a timeline for the before shots. Everyone was very friendly that day even when things and people weren't cooperating! Marilyn also adapted to situations (like when the park we wanted to take pictures in was unavailable she plopped us in some bushes which sounds odd but actually looked great). There literally aren't enough words to describe the talents and abilities of Marilyn and Micah and their crew at Castorina Photography and Films. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with them not only for our wedding day photography and cinematography, but also our engagement shoot and love story video. Beautiful, stunning, artistic, captivating, professional, absolutely surreal! When searching for a wedding photographer we wanted someone who had creative shots and was easy to work with. The drone video first caught our eye then looked at the pictures and felt like the value was there. We also loved their style. The videography, the pictures, and even the album styles made us love Castorina Photography.

They were very easy to work with, professional, and flexible. They were absolutely amazing. Even from our engagement photos they had their best interest for us to get the best shots. They climbed and balanced on top of jagged rocks just to get that perfect shot. Even during our wedding they arrived early and got shots of the property, and stayed with us after the wedding to get more photos! They helped us stay organized along the way of wedding planning to allow a time-frame for the photos and videos that we wanted. Everything turned out beautiful, and we are very impressed with our photos and their quality of service provided. Love their team and their work!

Marilyn and her husband were absolutely amazing! Definitely one of our most involved vendors! The day went so smooth, even though we were running so late the entire evening. They adapted the timelines and still got every picture we wanted! Plus tons that we couldn't have even thought of to ask for! My new husband and I highly recommend Castorina Photography.
They are polite, professional and provide a calm and relaxing attitude on a day that is truly hectic. What more can I say. They were amazing. We received so many compliments on our wedding photos. They have a certain style, but are open to suggestions and feedback. My mom and sister-in-law noted how dedicated the team was to ensuring we had the right shot angle. It was a long Indian wedding and they were perfect in every way!

Marilyn and her husband were amazing! Both were so great to work with and made our engagement experience fun. We felt so comfortable with them and they made us laugh. They were great at guiding us and giving us direction. Came up with numerous ideas on different poses. Marilyn was very flexible and very prompt with communicating with me. After looking at our engagement photos we were so shocked on how vibrant and crisp the photos were of us. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a photographer. Choosing someone for photography/Video for our wedding was probably the most important decision we made, being these will be the people who will capture the best day of our life. We saw many other photographers portfolio prior and worked with another for our engagement photos. When we saw the photos and video from Marilyn and Micah, we were sold on the spot. The lead up to the wedding and talking with them was great. We had some big freak out moments pre wedding about certain things and they answered all our questions and put us at ease. They were out of the country for a week or more, and responded to all our emails while they were away in a very timely manner. Now I must say, these guys busted their butts the day of the wedding, and went above and WAY beyond the duties of a photographer and cinematographer. The photos they took are BREATHTAKING. I mean magazine material, like photos you would see to advertise wedding dresses, or tuxedos. They captured our day PERFECTLY and am SO glad we chose them and would happily recommend them to any other couple. These guys have the eye for AMAZING photos. We have not seen the video yet, but I am not going to lie, I know its going to be just as perfect based on how they worked the day of the wedding. BOOK THEM FOR YOUR PHOTOS!!!!!! You will not be disappointed and they are worth literally every penny! I cannot intelligently put into words the quality of their work. I am an artist myself so I am VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY picky about this kind of thing and I know who is good and who is just your average joe taking a photo of you. They are truly amazing, I cannot say enough about them. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

Marilyn and Micah and both incredible! They are funny and really make you laugh and be comfortable as you have cameras surrounding you. We recently got married on January 31, 2015 at Embassy Suites and also did our engagement shoot with Marilyn in April. Both times were a joy and they made us feel at ease with the direction they give and the smiles on their faces when they get excited about a really great shot. They are a beautiful couple themselves and I loved seeing them work so well together. Everything at the wedding went perfectly and I just got our photos back that are all absolutely stunning. I don't even have words for how incredible this couple is and how you should hire them right away if you are getting married! Beyond all of this, they went above and beyond when my father passed away a couple of weeks ago and I knew it was too soon for my photos to be done since it had only been a few weeks after the wedding...but I emailed Marilyn and asked if she happened to have a couple of good shots of my dad that I could frame for his viewing and she sent me some within a day. It was something that she really didn't have to do but she went above and beyond and I will always be so thankful to her for that. Marilyn & Micah are wonderful to work with. I work in the special events industry and originally met Marilyn at an industry networking event. She had done some photographs for the venue that I work for & they turned out beautiful! I love the style of how she shoots photos and I'm so super picky. When I got engaged & it came time to choose a photographer for our wedding I went to Marilyn immediately! She did our engagement photos that we did at the Bucs Stadium and she took beautiful shots and was flexible with it being a million degrees and terrible humidity and when it started to rain we worked it into the shoot & it came out lovely! She goes that extra mile no matter how long it takes to get "the shot" and comes up with great ideas on the fly. She did the editing I wanted to make sure the photos were perfect at a minimal extra cost. We ordered a metal print of our signature edit of engagement photo & an album and both turned out beautiful! Marilyn was great about making sure my wedding day timeline allowed enough time for all of the photos that I wanted...I ended up having my hair & makeup arrive earlier to make sure there was enough time to get the getting ready & the already ready shots. She was in contact with me to make sure any specific shots I wanted were taken. I've seen some preview shots of our wedding day which she was so accommodating & great to give us a little early so that we could show everyone for the holidays and I cannot wait to see how all the rest of the wedding shots turned out. From what I've seen so far the lighting and her artistic eye will make our wedding photos the best ever! The time and effort that Castorina Photography puts into your photos is worth every penny & I couldn't be happier with them. I refer them to everyone I talk to about how great they are to work with & I will continue to use them as we start our family!

Thank you so very much for capturing our family in pictures that will serve as memories forever. It's hard for all of us to come together and you were extremely understanding and flexible with your time and accommodating us for a photo shoot on the weekend. At the photo shoot, you made our BIG group feel comfortable and we all enjoyed the experience and had so much fun. As for the pictures, all of us were beyond ecstatic to receive them and see how great they turned out. You have a true talent of capturing moments that are realistic and fun :) Thank you from all of us for helping us capture this wonderful day and for being a pleasure to work with! I think we've started a tradition of family pictures and we know who our photographer is!

Working with Marilyn and Micah was an amazing experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Marilyn was quick to respond to my emails, and the numerous questions that I had asked. She was extremely flexible with the numerous photo requests I made during the wedding, and was very attentive to detail. This is exactly what I was looking for in a photographer! I booked Casotrina Photography at the first wedding expo I attended over a year out from my event, out of all the vendors there, she was the only one who took the time to talk to me rather than give me a sales pitch. A few months later I attended another expo and as I passed by her booth she called to me from the crowd. I was so impressed that she remembered who I was and the details of my wedding! That alone spoke volumes that she values the people she works with. Don't second guess booking her for your event!

Marilyn was absolutely phenomenal! I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our special day. She made me feel at ease the entire day! I had only met Marilyn once at the wedding trade show but I knew instantly that she was going to be our wedding photographer. Marilyn is very courteous and knows exactly how to get the best photos. The pictures are stunning!! Everyone who looks at the photos always asks me who took them. She was extremely responsive and accommodating to all of my questions/requests. Marilyn is such a joy to work with too. She was very involved with everyone in the wedding party and even the guests. Marilyn made me feel so at ease that time flew by which made it feel like we weren't taking that many pictures! However when I got the email with all of the photos there were over 900 of them! Needless to say I'm going to have a very difficult time picking out my favorites since all of the pictures are fantastic. I definitely recommend Marilyn and her team for any and all photo needs that you may have!

Marilyn & her Husband Micah are amazing and super professional. From our first meeting at Starbucks I knew Marilyn was the photographer for us. She knew exactly what we were looking for and our general style. I couldn't recommend them enough. Our photos are beautiful!!!

Words can not express how amazing Marilyn and Micah are. We had a destination wedding in Cancun, Mx and they captured every moment of it beautifully. Not just through photos but the video was breath taking. These are things that I will use to remember my special day and thanks to Marilyn and Micah I will be able to do that!!! However, their work was not the only wonderful thing about them. their personalities are great and actually became part of our wedding not to mention Marilyn helped me with many things that I had no clue on .... like how to cut the cake lol. They are very special and have amazing talent. Best of all they not only captured all the shots i wanted but they thought out of the box and came up with shots i could never have thought of. They incorporated all of my wedding guest and party and just overall made this an amazing experience. I would without a doubt recommend them for any wedding. My family and guest were so impressed with their attention and talent that many of them have them in mind for their upcoming events. If you're questioning if you should use them or not..... dont!!!!! you will not be disappointed with them or their work.... they are AMAZING!!!

I don't even know where to begin. I remember when I first saw you and your husband at the bridal show and it was not just your pictures that got to me it was your personality and how sweet you were and I felt like we connected. I told my mom that day I had zero doubts that i wanted you to be my photographer. I know without a doubt that choosing you two to photograph my wedding was the best decision! You and your crew were absolutely AMAZING. Loved getting to chat with you in the limo before and after! The pictures that you did were absolutely beautiful. But not only that you captured my family, my friends, and Kevin and I the way we are, you captured our personalities. I look at them and I feel like I am getting married all over again. Those pictures remind me of why I said yes to my husband. Thank you so much for that and know that you have forever fans in us and will always get our recommendation!

My husband and I were so happy with our wedding pictures, Marilyn and Micah were great. They were professional and very good at directing us in how to pose. We found them very helpful and would use them again to capture all the big moments in our lives.

Marilyn and Micah were absolutely fabulous! They worked great as a team, and were very professional. We had such a blast with them and our pictures came out better than we expected! Our time was cut short at our venue, due to the venue being overbooked for the day. However, they were more than accommodating and worked with us to get all the pictures we wanted, plus extras! I have never felt as pretty as I did on my wedding day. Marilyn did hair and make-up for me and wowww. She also did touch ups throughout the event which was so helpful. She is a magnificent hairstylist and makeup artist. She also did the flower girl, junior, MOB, and me in 3-1/2 hrs. Yeah Marilyn!!!

Marilyn is amazing at what she does! She has such an artistic eye and knows exactly what she is looking for in a great shot. She was very helpful throughout the entire planning process and with organizing the wedding day timeline. Leading up to the wedding day, it was great to meet with Marilyn to discuss our options and we were able to get to know her by doing our engagement shoot. Marilyn and her staff were very professional, extremely helpful, and simply wonderful on our wedding day. Marilyn even helped me touch up my makeup before the reception! I felt like she was a family member! I highly recommend Castorina Photography. We loved working with them!

They are very understanding of your budget and will give you great product for your service. They also offer you a dick with your photo to get the printing done. I will use them in the future for any event that I have coming up.

Modern, Cinematic Photography

Marilyn Castorina was recommended to my by one of my former high school classmates. I trusted her recommendation as we are graduates of a visual and performing arts high school and a have a flair for a more classic style. Once I saw Marilyn's photos and visited her studio(not an in home studio!), I knew that I would hire her. I also noticed that she was the photographer for a couple that attended my alma marter(their wedding photo album is one that Marilyn uses as an example of her work)! I guess we all have good taste! Her prices are reasonable compared to other photographers in the Tampa Bay area. She did the photos for our wedding day and engagement photo shoot. She is not afraid to tell folks in the background to get out of a shot and she is great at directing folks in the bridal party.

Marilyn was nice and seemed to be knowledgable about photography during our session. However we were disappointed in the quality of our photographs we received. She also took 2-3 days to respond.

Okay, so I am not one for bad reviews as everyone has bad days, BUT we hired castorina for the best day of our lives and even broke our budget because they seemed like it was worth it. So we paid half of the full payment knowing we wouldnt get it back.. mistake 1. When we scheduled with them and met in person i told them that my husband played hockey growing up and we wanted half of the photos at the ellenton rink and then other half at gamble plantation. They seemed so excited. Heres where our frustation began. We were never able to find the "right" time for them to meet at the rink so we had to have someone else do those photos. Okay strike 1. Then after weeks of waiting days to respond to schedule our shoot we got it scheduled and instead of the gamble plantation and rink we decided on another park with water as our second location. Halfway thru the gamble mansion marilyn and her assistant made it seem like it would be a pain for them to try to make it to the 2nd location. Strike 2! So we stuck it out at the gamble mansion. She was more focused on her assistant than on us and we tried to let it go. Well then our pictures came back and out of almost 200 i liked about 8. The key things they should be looking for and we even asked them messed up many photos. My shirt would be all wrinkled or the collar would pop up. The pictures made me seem like i gained about 15lbs and that was other people saying that to me. So not only were we upset with our photos, we didnt get her to take our pictures at the rink, AND we never made it up to our backup 2nd location. So ultimately we decided they were not the right crew to document our big day and canceled our contract. Not trying to take away from the gorgeous pictures but they are overpriced and not very easy to work with.
