Best makeup I’ve ever had done!
Cassidy was beyond amazing. Very responsive when corresponding over what I wanted my hair and makeup looks to be and quick with ideas and suggestions. She was at the higher end of my price range, but worth every penny, I cannot imagine having gone with anyone else. It rained my entire wedding day and my makeup did not move, by the end of the day, you couldn’t tell my makeup had been rained on at all. She was so warm and kind, really put me at ease getting ready for my wedding. Cassidy was open to any and all of my ideas and very accommodating when I needed something changed slightly. I’ve already been thinking of when I’ll visit Kauai next and would need an occasion to work with Cassidy again.

Incredible Hair & Makeup Experience
Cassidy is AMAZING. We booked her for family photos, and she also does weddings and elopements — she was absolutely perfect. She did my hair and makeup and my daughter’s hair, and we both looked flawless. I fully trusted her expertise and only asked that she keep my bangs out of my face — she nailed it and gave me the most beautiful, soft waves.
She is so gentle that I literally fell asleep sitting up while she was doing my hair — that’s how relaxing the experience was. She traveled to our condo, arrived exactly on time, and was such a joy to work with.
Professional, incredibly talented, and calming to be around. I felt confident, polished, and completely photo-ready, and my daughter looked beautiful too. I can’t recommend Cassidy enough — whether you’re booking her for a wedding, elopement, or family photos anywhere on the Hawaiʻi islands, you will not be disappointed!

I'm not a daily makeup wearer and requested the most natural look possible, but with a noticeable difference that I am actually wearing some makeup and she exceeded my expectations from the trial to my wedding day. She also did my mom's, grandma's, and bridesmaids' makeup as well and everyone loved her! Our makeup lasted ALL DAY (even with the happy tears) and she also provided us with lip touch-ups for the day. I strongly recommend her!

Cassidy was amazing! I would 100% recommend her to any bride. During my trial she really took the time to understand the look I was going for. She made and noted all of the changes that I would want to the look based on the end look of the trial and executed perfectly on my wedding day.
Also I have to mention that she’s a freakin magician and must use whatever products that Taylor Swift’s makeup artist uses because my makeup and hair withstood a huge Texas thunderstorm in the evening after my husband I decided we wanted pics in the rain!

Cassidy was beyond incredible throughout the entire process: communication, makeup and hair test, and day of! She made me look and feel so beautiful but still like myself, and that makeup DID NOT move or fade through an entire night of dancing. I looked just as good before going to bed as I did when I walked down the aisle. I had so many people compliment me on how natural and stunning the makeup was. As someone who had a lot of imposter syndrome about not feeling "bridal" as a person, Cassidy was honestly a lifesaver. She was so sweet and so kind. Booking a makeup artist was one of the hardest things I had done. I hate to be that person but genuinely felt as though I had never had good makeup done professionally for any weddings I had been in before! I always turned out looking dry and dull. I booked Cassidy based solely off her Instagram pictures because EVERYONE she did looked glowy, bright, natural but glammed. I never once doubted her ability. My trial was great and all I told her was “I want your signature look!”. We made some adjustments on my hair the day of the wedding and I absolutely loved how everything turned out. Cassidy was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted and heard my concerns, and the makeup turned out perfectly - which can be hard for someone who is picky with their makeup and also has hooded eyes. I felt absolutely beautiful while also feeling like I still looked like me.
My small bridal party (mom, mom in law, sister, and sister in law) were also thrilled with their makeup, especially with how it looked on their “mature” skin. It was a very relaxing experience and wish I could book Cassidy for any and every occasion!

I had a great experience with Cassidy and would highly recommend. I was looking for a MUA who did a softer look. I don’t normally wear much makeup so this was a really difficult search for me. From the beginning I knew I would like Cassidy because she was great about communication and responsiveness to my questions. At my trial, I absolutely loved the results right away. The day of my wedding, my MIL and SIL ended up loving my makeup so they much they wanted theirs done too. Everyone looked flawless! She was able to accommodate everyone and stayed on track with timelines. She was polite and a great communicator. Cassidy is so sweet and was so fun to have there with us while getting ready. All around amazing
Cassidy was a dream to work with. She is unique in the fact that she is both highly skilled in hair and makeup and as the bride I loved being with one person the whole day. She brings great energy, very collaborative, does what’s best for you and not just something that she prefers / what’s trending. I have never felt more beautiful and also more relaxed. Both things that impacted how I will always remember my wedding day. She is the best and I even recommended her for a friends wedding where she knocked it out of the park again. 10/10/10 for Cassidy.

Sweetest stylist and I looked flawless
Okay this girl is amazing. I booked her in ATX before she moved from the PNW area because I loved her photos of her work and girl she did not disappoint. We did a trial for hair and make up and it was amazing. On wedding day I knew I was in great hands. She does things with make up only I could dream of doing even though I went and bought all the same products after my trial lol. 100% reccomend her!

Cassidy was amazing on my wedding day, she was on time and professional and her and her team got through 6 bridesmaids, my mum, MIL and me! I joke about it but I truly peaked on my wedding day! Lots of artists I saw while browsing did heavy makeup but I wanted to look like myself in my wedding day, just the best version and this is exactly what she did! Truly couldn’t recommend her enough!

Cassidy was great! Hit my vision for wedding hair and makeup spot on in the trial and recreated perfectly on the big day. She also did my hair and makeup for the rehearsal, which was a huge weight off of my shoulders. I felt confident Cassidy would make me feel beautiful, and she did not disappoint! I can't recommend Cassidy enough! This girl is truly talented. I'm not used to wearing a lot of makeup, so it took me a while to find someone I can trust to make me look natural but glam on my wedding day. Cassidy is not only a VERY talented makeup and hair artist, she is an amazing human as well! I had her do my trial the day of my engagement shoot which was in the summer, in downtown austin, and I was SWEATING FOR HOURS - and when I got home everything was just as perfect as it was that morning. Insane! For the day of the wedding, I wanted to relax and take it easy and she knew and bent to my vibe without asking. She is super talented, and a super amazing human, and I wouldn't hesitate booking her again if I got married again. Hopefully I don't get married again lol. But will definitely use her for other events! Hire this woman!!!

Natural/modern bridal hair and makeup
If you’re looking for a natural and modern wedding look, Cassidy is your girl! She can really do it all. She is super sweet and easy to talk to - always a plus! We had a fabulous hair and makeup trial, where she asked for tons of feedback to make sure everything was perfect. The fact that she did both my hair and makeup meant my overall look was cohesive and achieved the sleek/minimal vibe I was going for (she suggested the Hailey Bieber sleek bun and I couldn’t have been happier with it :) ). She made me feel like the best version of myself. My hair and makeup lasted all night and photographed beautifully. I can’t recommend her enough!

Hiring Cassidy was the best decision I made when it came to our wedding. She listen to everything I was envisioning for my hair and makeup (a natural makeup look but a lot of volume for my hair) and I have never felt more gorgeous. She was very professional, timely, and personable. I looked the same at the end of the night as I did at the beginning of the day. All my friends and family commented on how well my hair and makeup held up. I plan on hiring Cassidy again in the future whenever I need my hair and make up done.

Cassidy is the BEST of the BEST!! I felt so beautiful and loved all of the pictures I’ve seen so far. Sometimes I feel like my makeup looks good in person but doesn’t translate in photographs. That didn’t happen with Cassidy. I felt stunning and it translated into the photos. And the hair.. my goodness!!! Exactly what I envisioned, even though I didn’t have a photo to show her. Perfect amount of hair in the front for photos but perfectly up so I could feel bridal. Just amazing.

Cassidy was excellent and so easy to work with. She had 6 adults, myself, and two little girls to do. She was gentle with my grandmother and fun with my nieces and got through it all so easily.
Cassidy had a great demeanor where you didn’t feel she was invading, but also added to the day.
At my trial I started out thinking I knew what I wanted and then Cassidy showed me adjustments and they were exactly what was needed.

I worked with Cassidy this summer to do bridal makeup for myself and my bridesmaids! I truly could not have asked for a better experience. Cassidy was very responsive when I reached out to get a quote, schedule a trial, etc. She made it easy to pay via Venmo and was just super chill and wonderful through the whole experience.
I wanted my makeup to look natural since I don’t wear a lot of makeup typically and she listened to me through everything, the trial, the wedding day, etc. My bridesmaids were really thrilled with their makeup as well. A lot of them were in multiple weddings theough the last couple years and all said they loved theirs in my wedding the best! I loved that she used quality makeup products as well (tarte, becca cosmetics, benefit, etc.). One of my bridesmaids had never worn makeup before and was super nervous but Cassidy knocked it out of the park and made it super low key and natural!
All in all it was an excellent experience and I would recommend her to anyone getting married! I had a friend doing my hair or I would have definitely wanted her to do our hair as well! Her work is exceptional and she’s so talented at executing your exact vision!

I did a TON of research before booking a hair and makeup artist for my wedding day, so trust me when I tell you that Cassidy is the best of the best. All of my bridesmaids and I looked so beautiful yet still like ourselves, and we were all incredibly happy with our hair and makeup for my wedding celebration. We had a big group (1 bride, 8 bridesmaids, and two mothers of the bride), but Cassidy and her team somehow kept everything calm and moving right along. I booked Cassidy pretty early into my wedding planning experience. Her reviews and pictures are 100% spot on. Cassidy is very sweet and nice, she was flexible with our timeline, and of course most importantly she made me feel like a dang queen on my wedding day. During our consultation and trial run, she listened to EVERYTHING I asked, and make it all happen. She helped me choose hair extensions a couple months before the wedding day so they would work well with my desired hair style. On the day of my wedding she was there bright and early and got to work with her assistant right away. I felt and looked amazing. She has a way of making you look absolutely flawless but not cakey or over the top. Cassidy is a makeup goddess. Book her for your wedding and you will absolutely not regret it.

I loved having Cassidy on our wedding day dream team. She put up with my indecisiveness about hair/makeup and multiple changes I requested. On the day of the wedding, she knew exactly what I had requested and did a phenomenal job not only with my own hair and makeup but with my bridesmaids. Cassidy was AMAZING! My make up and hair were PERFECT for my wedding and they stayed that way all day-it was windy and both remained flawless! I would recommend Cassidy and her team for any event! Cassidy is the absolute best! I traveled to Oregon from North Carolina to get married at Crater Lake so I wasn't able to do a trial for my hair and makeup, which made me a bit nervous. But on the day of my wedding, she did the most beautiful job! I asked for a natural makeup look with defined eyes and a textured low bun with pieces that framed my face. She would literally pick out single strands of hair to create that perfect textured effect!! OCD for the win! My hair and makeup lasted all day and I couldn't be more thrilled with Cassidy's attention to detail and professionalism. She is such a gem!!

This Girl is amazing!!!! Let me tell you if you choose her you will not be disappointed! Living in Vegas and LA I’ve had my makeup done many times and she was by far one of the best artists I’ve ever had! Cassidy did my makeup for my engagement photo session. She made me feel so beautiful! She listened to what I wanted and was able to articulate that into her work. She was easy to talk to and was receptive. I would suggest using her for your special day. I would definitely be using her for my wedding if she hadn’t already been booked! I traveled to Bend OR to shoot my engagement photos and used Cassidy for my hair and make up. She was absolutely amazing to work with and I feel my pictures came out great because of her help. She was quick to respond to my inquiry since I was out of state and made the whole process super easy. If I was getting married in Bend I would totally use her again. Thank you for being awesome!

Cassidy was so easy to work with and made my entire wedding party and myself look great for my wedding day. I just think Cassidy is the best. She was a real help to me and the other wedding ladies. She made us all look beautiful. I would use her again in a heart beat.
We became friends during the process. I like her so much I invited her to bring her friend and stay for the wedding. Which she did and they had a very good time.

I can't say enough good things about Cassidy. She got me in last minute for hair and makeup for my engagement photos, was extremely quick to respond to all my emails, and was the perfect mix of listening to what I wanted and making great professional calls on what would work! She gave me a beautiful half up, braided hairstyle that survived several hours of blasting wind out at our shooting location and managed to stay put and look amazing! Terrible experience
On March 21, I signed a contract with Cassidy Elise for my May 31 wedding.
Even at that time, I found her communication to be cold, and distant, and the pricing to be astronomical, but there are not many options on the island of Kauai.
On April 6th and April 7th I made a attempt to call and text her with no response from her.
On April 8th, I sent her a note through her Honeybook application that, unfortunately, I was going to have to cancel my wedding date of May 31 because my stepson was signed to an NHL contract. Very exciting!
I requested that we hop on a call and told her that we were changing our date and I would love to try to coordinate with her.
Instead of calling me back, she sent me a note back saying that because I was within 90 days I owed her the full amount of services that I had requested which was almost $4000.
She also said dates were non-transferable never did she make any attempt to reach out to me or to work out the situation and I think the $4000 almost 2 months out is ridiculous.
She does have you sign a 90 day contract where your money goes hard within 90 days.
Of course I signed it because at the time I did not foresee that I would be having to move my wedding date.
All to say, I found it distasteful, and unprofessional. To charge me for things like eye gel pads, and Hair Extensions, and things that just really have no bearing on her time is very unprofessional.
I understand paying some sort of fee but to charge me the full amount with that much time out seems over the top.
All to say I’m very glad I didn’t work with her on my wedding day, and given the cost, I would’ve just flown somebody in for hair and make up in retrospect..
