Wedding Overlay
Cass was absolutely the kindest and most talented person to work with! She worked so hard to bring a vision to life and was incredibly responsive and professional as well! My overlay for my wedding was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen! She truly made a dream come to life and I can’t recommend her highly enough! -

Exceptional
Cass refurbished my 1980’s wedding dress into a stunning rehearsal/reception dress for my daughter. She presented design ideas to my daughter and reproduced my daughter’s choice perfectly. The fitting process was easy and responsive to suggestions. And Cass made drawstring purses out of the old big puffy sleeves! Cass even sewed /created my mother of the bride ensemble out of 70-year old Indian silk when there was a glitch with the original sewer. Cass is so much more than someone who provides alterations. She is a creative artist with fabric. She is personable and easy to talk to and listens very well. Her contract was clear and she is very organized and provided a recap of every fitting in writing. She was a delight to work with and I will definitely use her again. I highly recommend Cass. -

CassB Pageant Gown
From the moment I reached out to Cass, she was determined to make sure I had a winning gown. I gave her my ideas and photo inspo and my gown was ready in about 3 months. It was absolutely worth it to get something custom made instead of going to countless stores hoping I might find something. I have gotten so many compliments on my gown and I will treasure it forever! I also had the gold gown altered and Cass added the gold colored train on it as well. Both gowns were stunning. Absolutely Amazing Custom Gowns!
Where to begin, this dress was everything I wanted a more. The time Cass put into this dress and working one on one with me to design and craft my perfect wedding dress goes above and beyond what I expected. Her attention to detail is next level. The best alterations experience.
Covid has caused many issues with the amount of time it takes to order dresses. I did not expect to have trouble with a bridesmaid dress, but did. I found a size 14 second hand and brought it to Cassidy. She altered the dress to a size 4 and it fit perfectly. Not only was she very helpful through the process to make sure it was comfortable and fit in the right places; after finishing I went back for some extra breathing room because it was a very fitted silhouette and she took the dress out for me.
She also did my best friends wedding gown. She created a custom tule skirt to give her the fullness of the skirt back after shortening the dress. -

I couldn’t have asked for anyone better than CassB By Design. She designed my flower girl dress based off of my gown and she absolutely killed it. She altered my dresses for the day of and they fit me like a glove. Cassidy is nice, flexible, so creative, and will hype you up like she’s known you forever! Even though I don’t live in North Carolina, she made it super easy throughout the process; for instance, shipping me multiple fabric options so that the custom skirt paired perfectly with the top I had in mind.
