Absolutely perfect photographer!

I would definitely recommend anyone looking into a photographer who checks every box, Casey is for you! Casey shot our wedding and did an amazing job, we love his work!

This is my second time having Casey photograph an event and I have been beyond happy both times with his work. Casey is exceptional at communicating, accommodating in a change of schedule, shows up on time, (even a little early) and has a great and easygoing personality.
I love that Casey is so good at doing posed family photos as well as plenty of candid shots; this is one of the reasons I had I asked him to do this special day for us! Casey is so open and happy to do what it is that you are envisioning as well as doing plenty of his own, more creative photos. Casey helped make Our wedding experience so stress-free and happy knowing that our precious moments and memories would be captured perfectly! I couldn’t have asked for more beautiful photos of our wedding, family and friends. We are so very happy with Casey’s work and that he was able to share and capture this special day. Thank you again Casey, the pictures are absolutely stunning and working with you what is a complete joy!

The best of the best.

Casey is seriously incredible. I am pretty picky when it comes to pictures, and Casey nailed them all. He found all the right angels/ lighting & knew exactly what to do to make my bridals & wedding dreams come true! I would recommend him to my closest friends, he is 100% worth the investment! Not to mention he made the entire process comfortable, fun, and quick. You won’t want for more with Casey, he really thinks of everything and genuinely cares that you are happy with what he gives you. Thank you Casey for giving us an amazing experience!

Great experience, affordable, and awesome to work with!

Casey photographed our wedding in February 2019 and he was a joy to work with! We found him through WeddingWire and were so happy to find a photographer that didn't heavily edit his photos (our preference), had a lot of experience AND had unbeatable prices. It is possible, folks. My husband and I wanted to keep it simple, had a short engagement and didn't take engagement photos. It made the photos from our actual wedding day really important to us. Casey took as much time as we needed to document our wedding day around Temple Square in Salt Lake City and we're so fortunate to have found him. He's experienced, talented, and great to work with. We look forward to working with him again!

Fun, Easy Going, Professional

Casey was wonderful to work with. He answered emails promptly, and created a "day of" package for us that wasn't listed on his site. We hired him to photograph our ceremony and reception for a total of 8hrs that day. He took great photos and gave great direction throughout the day. We received our photos, all of them edited and unedited, in a digital format very quickly. Casey has a printing studio too that is very reasonably priced.

Exceeds all Expectations

Casey took my wedding photos, which turned out beautifully. My husband and I are both bad with photos and Casey did an amazing job making us look natural and capturing every photo I had wanted without me even having to ask!

Highly recommend

One thing I hate when I attend a wedding is a photographer pulling the couple away all night or being constantly in the way. Casey got the photos I wanted and was a fly on the wall catching some of the best photos ever.

Incredible and amazing. LOVE his work.

Casey was absolutely AMAZING to work with. When we were looking for a photographer and came across his portfolio, we couldn't put our finger on it, but just felt he had a quality in his work that allowed him to capture a certain essence that really brought everything to life. His diverse experience with a range of cultures and ability to bring that out in his work was another big draw for us. In person at work, he is even more impressive - highly professional (this came across during our first call with him - he was very well organized and able to walk us through what to expect and his working style) and yet able to put us all at ease. His enthusiasm for his work was clear and yet he balanced wanting to take the perfect photos of us with letting the events flow their course so he could capture the candid moments in a more natural manner. He gave us so much confidence in his work even before we saw the incredible product - our wedding day could not have been captured more beautifully. His turn around time is also amazing, we were really surprised at how quick we received our photos! And the end product was jawdroppingly stunning - special and tender moments mixed with wild fun - we cannot praise him highly enough. You cannot go wrong working with Casey, he is such a delight to work with. We are so delighted with our photos, we absolutely LOVE his work.

Great Pictures Every Time!

I would seriously recommend Casey to anyone! He was so good to work with! He had a lot of experience and knew what to look for and what shots were good ones, but then he was also so willing to listen to any requests I had from things I had seen on Pinterest. He was so quick to get the pictures back, like incredibly fast! He was so easy to work with as far as finding a time to take the photos even though he had to drive 2 hours to get down to us (which he did not charge us extra for). The price was every bit worth it! In fact it was cheaper than other photographers we looked at even though his pictures were better in my opinion. His pictures were absolutely gorgeous! I loved how he was able to catch the real color of what it actually looked like without a lot of editing or touching up the picture to make it look fake. Basically choosing him as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Thanks Casey!

I feel that a photographer is a huge decision and investment that can either make or break a wedding day, and I know I made the right decision by hiring Casey! He knew of all the best locations for bridal photos around the Payson, UT area. He did an excellent job capturing the big groups of people as well as the little moments that happened throughout our wedding day. We were impressed with his eye for exceptional photography and for his charisma among the guests. Our photos looked beautiful, plus we got them back in a timely manner.

Casey was so great! He was very responsive, the pricing was fair and reasonable, and most of all, he was easygoing and so great to be around. Casey did our engagement photos and our wedding photos. He captured our reception beautifully, was on time, and provided us with A LOT of finished images. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Casey has been an absolutely wonderful photographer! The pictures were so beautiful, I love them and I get compliments on them all the time. The best thing about booking Casey, is that he really puts everyone at ease. The pictures turned out so great because he was able to capture everyone's natural smiles and expressions. He's a ton of fun to have around, but best of all his photos are all high quality with everyone looking like their natural best selves! We will definitely book him again and again!

Casey helps you relax while taking your photos, and even becomes your friend by the end. You can tell that he cares about his work, and his pictures for the engagement photos, bridals and the Big Day all look fabulous. I would use him again for family or baby pictures.

Casey was great! He was on time and took amazing photos. His style is capturing the wedding and not many posed ones. He was very friendly and professional. He is excellent at giving direction and taking gorgeous photos. My only advice in booking with him is provide him with a list of must have photos because he didn't get a few I had in mind however I didn't mention them to him either. RIng picture, a few pictures of just the bride. Overall I would highly recommend him!

Casey is AMAZING!! He is such a talented and creative photographer. He photographed both our engagement and wedding and the quality of the photographs are outstanding. He truly listened to what we were envisioning and wanting to be portrayed through our photographs and executed them even better than we could have imagined. Our wedding day was perfect, and Casey's photography captured everything beautifully--our guests, the wedding party, our locations, and everyone's exquisite happiness. He was very organized and helped orchestrate the experience we had that day on top of producing gorgeous photos.

Furthermore, he was very flexible with our crazy schedules. We ended up moving the wedding date after we booked Casey, and he was able to accommodate us without charging an extra fee.

I feel that ten years from now when I look back on our wedding day, there will be plenty of fuzzy memories, but the hundreds of beautiful photos from Casey will help us remember the magic and overflowing happiness of the whole day.

From my first headshot shoot almost 10 years ago I have been hooked and knew I had a lifetime photographer. So far it stands true as he shot my wedding and our family pictures since then. He is the most talented in his field with an incredible artistic ability and he is the most genuine and honest guy. He makes what is usually an akward and uncomfortable process completely natural and exciting. Not only did we get the best photographer in the business but a fun and special friend for life!

Casey came to do a large group photo an hour away from his home. My mother in law changed her mind at the last minute and asked to drive another 30 miles to her grandfather's barn. Casey was very accommodating and made the trek last minute. My mother in law cherishes those photos. He works well with large groups. He's very professional yet relaxed.

Casey was absolutely amazing! His pictures turned out absolutely amazing. He took so much time and really worked to make sure we got what we wanted. He was flexible about where to meet us and didn't charge extra to come to Salt Lake City for our wedding. Casey's pictures came back immediately. He was so fast with his minimal editing and the pictures look exactly like us and very natural. They don't have any filter that is going to go out of style and I continue to look at every picture and just love them. Casey was completely well priced and we got way more than we realized for what we paid. HE IS AWESOME. Don't even think about booking anyone else!

We had Casey take pictures for our family this past June because I have love his work, talent, and professionalism, and he is a joy to work with. We first met Casey back in 2005 when we chose him to be our photographer for our engagement and wedding. We were so pleased with his work that since then he has taken family pictures for us as our family has grown and has also been the wedding photographer for my sister and brother and for many of our friends.

Casey was so comfortable to work with! By the end we felt like we were all good friends! He was able to elicit and capture us in our true colors- relaxed, happy and in love, which is exactly what we were looking for in a photographer. Along with a timeless quality that wouldn't look dated or faddish in 5, 10, 20 years. I loved his location choices and how he worked with us and the lighting in those locations. Then of coarse his clean editing style. Doing photography myself I know it's not an easy art form, but he definitely has a gift for it. We've had a lot of friends, family and fellow photographers ask who did our photos, they're so glad they've found him too!

As everyone knows, or will come to know, weddings can be very stressful! I was SO happy with our decision to have Casey McFarland as our photographer. He was so organized and always on time. He got us our photo's back so quickly and the quality was incredible! Also something that I loved about Casey was his ability to make my husband feel very comfortable and at ease as he was taking our pictures. Christian's (my husband) smile was very natural, because he was at ease, which was something I was super grateful for! Casey captured our moments perfectly. If I had to do it all over again, I would no doubt choose Casey. He is awesome!!

We had a great experience working with Casey! I was nervous about getting my engagement and bridal photos done, but he made us feel so comfortable and natural. He was very professional, especially on our wedding day, dealing with 2 big families and a surprise rainstorm. He was very fast and efficient and we were able to capture so many great shots. I highly recommend him!!

Pleasent company and does a great job getting the pictures you want without feeling like he's in the way or holding up the show. Would recommend him to anyone.

Casey is awesome. He takes amazing pictures, and it is very easy to work with. His personality is very easy going and he is hilarious. If you are like me and don't love getting your picture taken, Casey is a great photographer because he makes you feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Casey!

Casey was awesome! During our engagement photos, his wife was about to have a baby so he had us meet him in Logan, and as compensation offered us a free giant printout of our choice! There he took us to some of his favorite spots and was able capture our personalities and made us feel comfortable. Very nice guy, very easy to work with, excellent with large groups and kids. I would recommend him to anyone (in fact I have!)

Casey is incredible to work with. So many photographers rely on photoshop and editing to make their pictures look decent, Casey's photos are breathtaking as they are because he knows what he is doing! He was originally a film photographer so he knows what it takes to make a special shot in one go. He is so accommodating, friendly, and fun! He is amazing to work with, I recommend him to everyone!

Casey took my girlfriend and I up the canyon and took some amazing photos! He was flexible with our schedule and what we wanted to do in the session. We both felt comfortable with Casey, which can can often make a good portrait session into great one!

Think about what you want to accomplish with your wedding photography. There might be photographers with more fascinating gimmicks available in Utah, but there are few with Casey's production quality and his sense for the moment. We had a number of people who we dearly wanted to make sure were captured in our photographs -- important elder family members, friends we see rarely -- and Casey didn't miss a beat. We presented Casey with a number of goals, some interesting spatial and environmental constraints, and a wide variety of shots we wanted to see, and were blown away by the results. If you want quality and the peace of mind that comes with knowing it's going to turn out great, go with Casey.

Casey was awesome to work with! He was willing to take our engagements even in poor weather, which we really appreciated. He was also flexible with our schedules and was willing to travel to areas we wanted photos taken. We would have maybe liked some touch ups on some of the photos with uneven skin tones or messy hair, but otherwise, we were impressed!

We worked with Casey for our wedding pictures and were very pleased with the results. He was knowledgeable about the setting and time of day, he worked well with our guests and family, and he had a quick 2 weeks turnaround for receiving the digital downloads. I would recommend him to anyone!
