Casey is Fantastic!

Casey was so great to work with! I did a trial and makeup session with her for my wedding day. She is very easy to work with and she executed my vision exactly! We had some rain and wind on the wedding day and my hair did not budge one bit! You would have never guessed I was outside. All of my bridemaids all wore the same style, but Casey added unique styling to each of them to make it more diverse. Casey was a pleasure to work with and made my wedding day such a memorable one! Thank you so much, Casey!

Casey did an AMAZING job on my daughter's hair, her four bridesmaids, and my hair on 10/7!! She was very prompt and professional, working nonstop from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. We all received multiple compliments on our hair at the wedding. Do not hesitate to hire Casey for your wedding!

I worked with Casey on an editorial shoot YEARS before my wedding and knew then that I was going to have to hire her if I ever got married. She's that good! We did a run-through to try options before the wedding, and even though we didn't end up doing the exact same style on the wedding day, it helped figure out what I did and didn't really like, so I definitely recommend booking the hair trial before the main event. She also braided up my flower girls (4 and 6) and they were ALL about getting their hair done, which helped keep them from going completely bonkers right before the ceremony, and helped keep their floral crowns in place.

Casey was on time and professional. I got two hair trails done and on the wedding day it was absolutely perfect. She brought an assistant due to having nine people getting their hair done. Everything was on time and perfect.

Go with Casey! She's awesome. The run through prior to the wedding is great. She's open your "vision"!!! Plus she makes for a relaxing and calm environment when getting ready. I was stress free on my wedding day thanks to her and my maid of honor and those helping me and my hubby!

I chose Casey to do my hair for our special day because I knew that out of everyone I thought about to have do it, she would do something completely different from the typical wedding hair. I also knew that she would do something beautiful and exactly what I wanted without my having to really direct her. On the day of she made the whole experience fun for me and my girls. I am so glad I chose her and I would recommend her to anyone!

Casey did an amazing job on both my hair and my bridal party! I have thin hair that doesn't hold curl very well and my hair stayed the entire night and through the after party. I received tons of compliments and have absolutely zero complaints. I highly recommend Casey!

Sara Jane was our primary hair professional and she brought Casey with her to help since we had so many bridesmaids getting their hair done as well. I can't stress how awesome they both were! They're extremely laid back, they felt like two more of my friends getting ready, AND we all loved our hair! My bridesmaids and I talked about how many times we've had our hair done and ended up taking it out when the hair dresser left and doing it ourselves. Not one of us had to redo or fix our hair. I highly recommend both Sara Jane and Casey!

Casey is absolutely incredible at what she does. Her work is better than any stylist I've ever seen, it's flawless. Casey has done many of my friends weddings so there was never any question that I was going to choose her to do mine. She far exceeded my expectations, and is truly an artist. I have extremely thin, straight hair and because of Casey I was able to have the beautiful voluminous curls I always dreamed of on my wedding day. The best part is, my hair stayed in place until the next day and my hair never holds a curl! Casey was fun to be around, she always made me laugh. I'm so grateful to have had her be a part of my wedding. Thanks Casey!!!! <3

The minute I met Sara Jane at my hair trial she put me as ease. She listened to the style I was going for and made me feel absolutely beautiful on my special day! Everyone looked gorgeous and we did not worry about our hair throughout the day and night (even after hours of dancing!). I highly recommend Sara Jane to any bride!

Casey did the hair for me and my bridal party and Sara Jane did their makeup and we couldn't have been more pleased!!!! My daughter (16) and I got SO many compliments throughout the night and even over the next few days as we ran into people they couldn't stop talking about how beautiful we were!!! I will definitely be using them for any future events where we need to get our hair and makeup done!

I would say I have unusually high expectations for my hair and makeup on a normal basis, so imagine those expectations for the wedding day!.... I searched every hair and makeup vendor online and finally came across Casey Powell and her work. Thank goodness!!!

She was responsive, calm and organized. My trial with her was so fun - she was down to earth and a total blast. Sara Jane was also so wonderful and fun - and unbelievably talented.

Day of the wedding was so much fun with them. They recruited Rachel Ryan from Orlando and the three of them were phenomenal with myself, 7 bridesmaids and 2 mothers. Usually, it's difficult to please everyone in the bridal party when it comes to hair/makeup, but everyone was in love with their hair and makeup. Yay!! My hair was gorgeous and stayed the entire night. I got airbrush makeup and the makeup didn't budge through all of the happy tears, kisses and hugs.

Casey and Sara Jane Maples are the greatest!!! I can't thank them enough for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Worth every penny!

Casey and her team were absolutely wonderful. I have never liked when I've gotten my hair done in the past, and loved my hair on my wedding day. She took my vision and made it a reality. On top of that she was flexible enough to add numerous people day of and get everything done on time. I cannot recommend Casey enough!

Casey is truly the best in the business!!! I am VERY particular about my hair and my wedding day look was no exception to that! I set up my hair trial and after getting all the way done, Casey could tell by my reaction that it was not the look for me. It had nothing to do with her work; just didn't look right on me. Casey never wavered at my disappointment and was extremely professional. I set up a second trial and it was perfect. Casey was on time for the wedding and she brings such a sweet and kind personality to the chaotic craziness on wedding day! She even had no hesitation to fix a hair issue with one of my girls that she never worked on in the first place! I am so honored to have had the best in the business on my wedding glam team! Casey Powell is, hands down, the best hairstylist in the Jacksonville area - especially when it comes to wedding hair! She is fabulous. She can work with any style and is up for any request. Along with each of my bridesmaids wanting something completely different, I threw so many thoughts at her on my wedding day. I don't know how she managed to blend them all together, but my hair came out exactly how I wanted and I loved it from every angle. (It was actually one of the first things my groom commented on as we got a moment alone after the ceremony. He said my hair looked "perfect" and was shocked that it didn't look stiff at all. Haha I don't know what he expected, but it was a pleasant surprise for him too.:) Not only can Casey make an entire bridal party look beautiful, but she is super easy to work with. So laid back and patient, yet on top of it all. She is also a perfectionist and extremely conscientious - she will not leave until every strand is perfectly in place! (As she was packing up to leave our hotel room, she noticed a few strands out of place in my updo, dropped what she was doing, and proceeded to fix them - without me asking her!) I can't imagine working with anyone better!!

Casey is amazing!! During the planning process she was responsive to my emails and easy to communicate with. During my trial appointment it felt like she just knew what I wanted. I showed her a few pictures and then she worked her magic. It looked amazing, better then I envisioned. I was headed to my bridal shower and she was sweet enough to restyle my hair so "no one would see my wedding hair before the big day." When I found out Casey also cuts hair I decided to schedule a trim as my usual hair dresser was on maternity leave. I ended up loving my cut so much that she is now my new hair dresser. On the day of the wedding Casey had myself and my 5 bridesmaids ready and looking fabulous on time. The updos were pretty and all my girls had a unique style. I loved how she was able to get our hair done while laughing and having fun with us. This was important for me because it added to the stress free environment I wanted day of. She loves what she does and is such a perfectionist. She made sure every strand was exactly where it needed to be. Our hair held up all night. My hair looked just as good in the pictures of us exiting as they did in the first look photos. I'm so thankful I found Casey and it's obvious I highly recommend her!

Casey was AMAZING!! I am from Orlando, but got married in St.Augustine, so it was difficult to try and meet with all of the vendors in just a few trips. Casey was flexible with scheduling my trial and she really listened to what I was looking for. She did a great job at my trial, but I didn't think the hairstyle that I chose matched my "Vintage" wedding theme. When I emailed her with a new hairstyle idea, she was completely open to changing it and gave me piece of mind that it would look great. On the day of the wedding, Casey gave me the most beautiful hairstyle. Exactly what I was asking for! I received compliments all night and even days afterwards. I would definitely recommend!

Casey has been doing my hair since I was 16. I have always been one to have pretty bold hairstyle choices. When it came time for my wedding in March, 6 months before my wedding I told her to give me a pixie cut. She of course made sure this is what I really wanted, but still I didn't change my mind. As my wedding came closer it became apparent to me that I may not feel as pretty as I wanted because of my short hair. I shared my concerns with Casey, who of course I booked the minute I was engaged, and she told me not to worry about it. We talked about my head piece and I explained to her I did not want a traditional head piece and it was becoming very hard to find one that I liked. She asked me to show her a picture of a head piece that I liked and I showed her my pinterest board with all of my head pieces. She then offered to custom make my head piece for me so I could have exactly what I wanted! So when my wedding day came, she not only gave me the perfect pixie style, she also gave me a custom head piece that I can keep forever and I can definitely say it was one of a kind. Not to mention she was amazing to talk to on that day and she really helped with wedding jitters. I would completely recommend her to any bride, she is not scared to think outside the box and will go above and beyond to make sure her bride has an amazing experience. I still use her as a hair dresser and I recommend to all of my friends. It would be a wise choice to pick Casey, because not only can she do up-dos, she can also make a pixie cut look like a million dollars on a wedding day. Thanks again Casey!

Casey is AMAZiNG!!! My hair is not the easiest to work with, and I called Casey a "magician" on my wedding day. She did my updo EXACTLY like I wanted, even better than I had pictured actually... It was soft and elegant but stayed all night, and wasn't even hard to take down/comb through afterwards!! My hair had never looked so good! She is so sweet and layed back as well, and extremely easy to work with. If there's even one hair not exactly like you like it, she will fix it with a smile on her face:) Casey was not only the most talented hairdresser I have ever met, she was a calming friend while I was getting ready for my big day. She is very passionate about her work and loves what she does! Love her and so thankful to have found her to do my wedding hair and also thankful she was willing to travel! She made my dream look come true and I will be forever thankful!!

I can't put into words what a great job Casey does, Me and my two bridesmaids hair was beyond perfect and stayed that way all night. Plus the best part about her is how amazing she was with my 6 year old daughter. She took extra time making sure she was ok and at one point helping me entertain her while I was getting my make up done. I can't wait to be able to have her do my hair again.

Casey is AMAZING!!!!! Best bridal hair in Jax! She's very easy going and very easy to work with, and very flexible. She did my hair along with my two sister bride's maids and she exceeded our expectations. She traveled to us and was surprisingly quick, we were all done and ready for pre-wedding bridal party photos by the timeline anticipated. Wedding days are very hectic and she was very quick and professional and our hair was perfect. Each of my sisters were glowing just as much as I was with their perfect hair styles that suited them. Casey is amazing! There is a reason she is called the updo guru! I can't even count how many of my guests came up and commented on my hair. She did an amazing job with my fine, shoulder length hair as well as one of my bridesmaids and my flower girl. We all looked beautiful!

Casey did an amazing job with not only my hair but my bridesmaids as well. During my trial (the day before the wedding), I gave Casey very vague instructions of what I wanted. She whipped something up and continued to work with my hair until it was exactly what I wanted. Because I was heading off to the rehearsal dinner after the trial, Casey then took down my hair and styled it in a completely different (but very cute way) just to throw my groom off! On the day of the wedding, she didn't add any stress and worked well with my bridesmaids. She was very personable without being intrusive. In terms of my hair, when I looked in the hotel room mirror at the end of the night after dancing, sweating, etc, I could tell absolutely no difference than when Casey had done my hair all those hours earlier! It really stayed!

While she isn't the cheapest option in Jacksonville, she is really good at what she does. I would 100% recommend her!

Casey did an amazing job with my hair as well as my 5 bridesmaids and mother of groom. I have fine that that can be difficult to manage and style, I still can't believe what Casey was able to do with my hair. She exceeded my expectations. Numerous guests at my wedding made comments about how beautifully my hair was styled as well as the bridesmaids. I got married outside, right next to the beach, right after it rained...it was pretty humid but our hair lasted all night with no problem. My husband is actually a hairstylist (of course he couldn't do my hair on our wedding day!), he was really impressed by what a beautiful job Casey did on everyone. She really is as good as everyone says she is, extremely talented!

To say that Casey provides an exquisite style at a reasonable price with absolute perfection in customer service is just the tip of the iceberg. Casey Powell did an amazing job with me, my mom, my seven bridesmaids, and my future sister-in-law. She created a timeline of appointments for everyone and amazingly she was able to stick to it even with all those people to take care of. Throughout the whole process, Casey was responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Each person in the bridal party had different requests, some more complex than others, and Casey worked with each person to get her hair just right.

Finally, my hair is very thin and difficult to work with but somehow Casey made it more beautiful than I could have imagined. My hair and everyone else's hair stayed perfectly for the entire night. I would absolutely recommend Casey to anyone who needs a hair stylist for her wedding.

Casey is truly a genius when it comes to hair! My hair was exactly what I imagined for my wedding day. I showed her a picture once and let her do her thing. It was comfortable and remained perfectly in place throughout the night. My bridesmaids all loved their hair as well. Casey is so sweet was a joy to work with. She is professional and flexible. Casey is AWESOME!! I was thankfully able to book her and Kimtasha (make up artist she shares her studio with) for my wedding date due to another bride cancelling and I should just say I feel so lucky! I initially thought that I would have my hair up in a slightly messy, curly style so that's what I did for my trial appointment. After going to my dress fitting, I decided I wanted to leave my hair down. I had so much trust in Casey that I didn't bother making a second trial appointment. She winged it day of and my hair was just beautiful! She stayed literally to the last few minutes prior to the ceremony. Her professionalism, response time, and talent are beyond words. She's also super sweet and makes you feel completely at ease. I live over 1.5 hours from her studio but go to her for my regular hair cuts/color as well and will continue to do so. If you can book the date, you won't regret it =)

Casey was FABULOUS! Absolutely loved my hair for the wedding day! Starting with the trial where Casey took a pretty broad idea I had and worked through all of my feedback to make it perfect. And then on the wedding day she replicated exactly what we had done in the trial to perfection! She made my hair was one less thing to worry about!

Casey does an amazing job! I could not have been more pleased with mine and my bridesmaind's hair. Casey is a professional and is very talented. She works quickly and creates masterpieces! Everyone's hair looked natural and elegant. We started to get our hair done around noon and the styles lasted well through the end of our reception at 11:00p.m.

If Casey is available for your wedding date, you need to book her services ASAP! She's highly in demand, & I don't think there is anyone who could have possibly done a better job. When we finished my consult, I told her that I liked it, but would want a couple things done differently. On the day of, it was exactly how I envisioned it!! She also came to the venue & did all of my bridesmaid's hair, which was convenient & fun. She came on a referral to me, & I have already referred several of my friends to her.

Casey is amazing. AMAZING. I figured out early on that she is NOT a phone person. You have to trust that she is incredibly professional and if you book with her online or via email that she will contact you. We got along great, she works quickly and has a plan of attack. I have super thick super long hair with a lot of texture. We are talking hair enough for 3 people. I have had stylists spend 5 hours doing my hair but Casey was quick, and STILL a perfectionist. Honestly my hair looked gorgeous and I have never felt so beautiful. The style she did on my hair not only stayed for the wedding but it stayed the next day too until I took out the bobby pins. I had gorgeous hair for two days! I highly recommend using Casey for your big day and I will use her again for special occasions.

Casey was AMAZING!! My hair was exactly what I wanted and stayed in place all night! She also did an amazing job on my bridesmaids hair too.

I pulled a picture off the internet of a celebrity's hair do and she matched it exactly for my wedding! I told my bridesmaids how talented Casey was so they pulled their own ideas from the internet and looked so glamorous. Not only is Casey a fabulous person she is professional, flexible, sweet, and easy to work with. You couldn't ask for a better person and stylist to be with you on your big day. Everyone loved her! Guy review: I have had haircuts across the US, but for my wedding I knew I had to go to Casey. I needed a great haircut and Casey delivered. I showed her a picture and bam, perfect haircut. She is definitely worth every penny. Casey is extremely talented and knows what looks good on you. Casey did a wonderful job for my wedding hairstyle. I had to book her last minute as my previous hairstylist dropped out. We were traveling from the UK for the wedding so she had to do my trial run just two days before the wedding which she was more than happy to accommodate.

I took a book along to show her a look I liked and she created a similar but even better one for me which looked lovely and everyone commented on. The whole time she was friendly and professional.

When my makeup artist (Faythe Mesic) turned out to be a con artist and I had to book another artist the day before the wedding Casey offered to wait around until they turned up on my wedding day to make sure that if they also went wrong I'd have someone to do my makeup (her). Had I known she did makeup as well as hair i'd just have booked her for both she was so great!

I can't recommend Casey enough. She's lovely and does a fantastic job.

Casey definitely lives up to her name as the "updo guru". My hair turned out amazing. I can't tell you how excited I was when I saw the final product. Casey couldn't have been nicer to work with. She doesn't charge to travel which I found to be a huge plus. She adapts to the environment that you have her work in. The day of my wedding she did my hair, 4 bridesmaids, and my mom's hair and they all turned out better that I had expected. I would recommend Casey to anyone looking for great wedding day hair.

Casey was such a pleasure to work with. I did a trial run with her approximately 3 weeks before my wedding, and she was very receptive to how I wanted my hair to look. We also discussed ideas for how she could style my mom's hair, as well as my bridal party's hair, so there would be no surprises the day of the wedding. On my wedding day, Casey showed up at the venue on time, ready to work, and I was thrilled with her work. She is so calm and patient (which is extremely helpful the morning of your wedding!), and very talented. My hair looked perfect for my big day. Did a great job with my hair! Such a sweet person. The trial run was great, and she did a good job executing based on the photos I brought in. On wedding day I made some last-minute requests for my hair, and she did a perfect job altering the style. It was better than I imagined. Stayed in place all day too. She also did a fabulous job with the bridesmaids - each had a different style, and with each one she complemented their faces and styles so perfectly. I highly recommend!

Casey was great! I loved her personality and she did an AMAZING job on all my girls for the wedding day. In total, we had 12 girls getting their hair done, so she definitely had her hands full and everyone was so happy with how their hair turned out! She brought along another hair stylist who also did great. They had a tag-team system where the other hair stylist prepped the hair (curling, teasing, etc.) and Casey completed the look. There were a couple times in the months leading up to the wedding when Casey was a little hard to get a hold of, but it was of minor significance to me. Overall, I REALLY recommend her. She has such a sweet personality and relaxed attitude, which makes for a great addition on your wedding day!

Casey was my hairstylist for my wedding September of 2009 and she was simply fantastic! She is has a bright, cheerful personality and is also super professional and seemingly unflappable. And she of course, did a fantastic job on my and my bridesmaids hair! I brought a photo of a half up style with a braid, and it was perfect. I received many compliments on my hair that evening. Casey is excellent! She has done two weddings for us recently and she is the best, no matter what style you want. From up-dos of all styles to long, loose and curly, she's a master at it all. She's extremely pleasant, low key and certainly knows how to work with brides and make it a very special experience. Casey did a fabulous job on my hair and on all of my girls too, (who she'd never met)! I was very indecisive with my hair and changed my style the day of my wedding and she was totally cool and flexible with that. It ended up looking great and made me feel beautiful!

Casey is magical, and an artist. She really is the best! I'm so glad that we were able to book with her. I will absolutely be using her services for any special event that I attend in Jax. I loved Casey's work and I think she truly does an amazing job. She did my hair exactly how I wanted it both at our trial and the day of my wedding. Casey is as sweet as can be, easy to work with, and she will do your hair until its exactly what you want and you are 100% happy. My only problem with her was the fact that I had a really hard time corresponding with her via email. It would take her weeks to get back to me about questions I had, etc. In her defense, she had many things going on at the time, so this may have played a factor. Overall, I would say book her for her services because she really does a wonderful job, but be warned that in all of your wedding craze, not being able to get a hold of your hair stylist could be an added stress factor. I know it was for me.

When I initially wanted to hire Casey, I called and left a couple messages. I didn't get in touch with her until I called back again and actually reached her. She was professional and I liked my hair. My bridesmaids showed her pictures of how they wanted their hair to look and one turned out really good, another was average, and the third was okay. It didn't quite look like the picture and my bridesmaid felt a lot older than she was. Overall I would say she did a good job but not exceptional. She does have a great personality that is easy to work with.
