Great Experience!
The entire experience was amazing! Seeing my name on the cute chalkboard upon arrival, then being greeted by friendly staff while I filled out the paperwork asking all of the important questions was a great start. Then, I met with Cindy and we discussed what I wanted and budget. She was so respectful of my wishes. The gowns were absolutely STUNNING. Beautiful inside and out. I had been to other places where the inside of the dress was itchy or didn't breathe. Every dress I put on in Caryn's felt smooth and perfect, even on the inside. There was nothing poking me or making me sweat! After trying on several, she learned what I really liked and asked me in private if I would be comfortable going over budget by a little. She said "I have another dress that I know you will love but it is $1385" ($385 greater than I told her my budget was). SO RESPECTFUL. I told her that I would like to try it on. I fell so in love. Then she added the vail. I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world! (And they gave me a discount for buying the vail the same day with the dress deposit). The whole experience was just perfect and Cindy is AMAZING.

Perfect Bridal Shop
Caryn's was the perfect place to find my wedding dress. Olivia was incredibly helpful and was able to find me a dress that combined all of my wants. The try on process was great for me and my family. The shop is SUPER cute. My dress was somewhat customized, and the alteration process went super smoothly. I would definitely recommend Caryn's to future brides.

Found my perfect dress with Olivia's help!
I loved my experience at Caryn's! It was the first bridal store I visited and Olivia was super knowledgeable about the dresses they had in stock and did a great job understanding what I was looking for. It was such a great first shopping experience. I wanted to shop around, so after visiting a few other stores, I came back with a clearer idea of what I wanted and Olivia helped find the perfect dress for me. Caryn also provided insight into the tailoring we can do to the dress and helped confirm that my vision (changing the straps) was possible. Having access to their in-house alterations team was really reassuring and makes everything so much more streamlined, compared to getting a dress and then worrying about finding a tailor/seamstress.
I also love their website and the ability to see all of the dresses so easily. It felt a lot easier than other sites and helped me come to my appointments more prepared with clearer expectations. Would recommend to everyone!!

Love Caryn’s!
I had an AMAZING experience at Caryn’s! They have a huge selection of beautiful dresses in a variety of sample sizes. I had such a hard time deciding because there were so many fabulous options! My consultant, Olivia, was so patient and helpful with making recommendations that matched the style I was looking for and showing me the different options available for the dresses. She made the whole process easy and fun, and she is truly invested in making sure you find your perfect dress! I absolutely cannot wait to wear the dress I chose!

I would definitely recommend Caryns to shop for your wedding dress! The store is beautiful and their dress options are gorgeous. I was so blessed to have Latrice help me find my dream dress! I could not have asked for a better experience. She listened to exactly what I wanted but also giving me different options too so I could decide exactly what style I wanted for my dress. And I said yes to my third dress! If you are going to Caryns definitely ask for Latrice! She is a sweetheart who is knowledgeable, professional, and a good time! I can not wait for my actual dress to arrive!

So Amazing!!
This shop was a so elegant and beautiful! They had so many different types of dresses. Madison was very patient with my pickiness. She made sure I found the one! And after my 8th dress I did!!! I was so happy I cried as soon as I looked in the mirror. Madison helped me find the perfect veil to go with my dress. I would recommend this shop to anyone!! I also won a bridal photo shoot!

I had an amazing experience at Caryns! They responded to my appointment request in a timely manner. Upon arrival we were greeted with great customer service and an amazing consultant! Latrice was AMAZING! I was allowed 4 guests as well which was a huge deciding factor when booking the appointment. Latrice asked what I was looking for in a wedding gown and pulled around 15 dresses that matched my list as well as a few that were over the top and different styles. She was with us every step of the way. She knows what will look great on your figure and sees your vision! They had such a great selection and their price point is also affordable! Ordered my dress that day and cannot wait for it to come in! Will definitely be returning for bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen attire and mother of bride and groom dresses!

I did not get my dress from this location only because they didn’t carry a collection I desired. BUT it was such an bridal amazing experience with wonderful staff I brought my bridesmaids back to get their dresses and get my accessories.
The dresses I put on were gorgeous and a close second place. I will recommend this place to every future bride I meet. My bridesmaids also had the best time and looked amazing in the dresses they selected!

I had an AMAZING experience at Caryn's! I sent an email about finding an appointment and got a call back that same day! Cindy was able to get me set up for a rush appointment because I had totally been putting off looking for the dress. So, already, they're saving my a$$. My mother has been very excited about me getting married - a little too excited. I knew she and my sister would be a handful when we went to our bridal appointment, but Cindy knew just how to handle them. She was professional, experienced, and most importantly, she made my mother feel valid and appreciated while still finding what I, the actual bride, wanted. I honestly didn't expect to find THE dress on my first outing, but Cindy has helped so many other brides find the perfect dress, I think she knew what I wanted even though I didn't. I was so overwhelmed by the entire idea of picking a wedding dress that I don't think I would've found one as perfect as the one I got at Caryn's without their professional help. I can't say more good things, honestly. They took an experience I would've absolutely hated - going shopping with my mother and sister as a larger woman - and made me feel beautiful. Now, I know I'm going to feel beautiful on the most important day of my life and I really can't thank the team at Caryn's for that enough. They are responsive, professional, experienced, encouraging, and just overall a wonderful, wonderful team of women. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!

The best bridal experience!
I loved working with Caryn's throughout my wedding dress shopping and purchasing and tailoring experience! It was like a dream!! The ladies I worked with were each so attentive, and after each visit I received follow ups in the mail too, as well as other discounts and promotions for purchasing my dress through them! I'm not entirely sure if it was intentional or not, but I worked with Olivia pretty much the entire time for scheduling appointments and such after my fitting, which was super cool to know that I got to continue building that relationship with her. Additionally, I loved that the cost of adjusting the dress was included in the purchasing of my dress. It made it stress free and easy, and with the years of experience Caryn has at fitting and with dresses everything went so smoothly! I wish I could go through the dress buying process with Caryn's again on repeat!! Any brides out there needing help dress shopping, head to Farmville ASAP :)

Caryn's Bridal was the first and only place I went to find my dream wedding dress. Kaitlin listened to what I wanted and we were able to find the PERFECT dress after only 4 dresses. A one-stop shop!
I visited Caryn's bridal shop a week ago with the intention of finding my wedding dress and I did!
Their wedding dress selection is amazing, many designers to pick from and styles. My consultant Kaitlin was patient and very friendly. I liked that she was not pushy or rushing me to make a decision. She gave me my space! Once I found the dress that I fell in love with, she picked a very delicate veil to pair up with my dress. I would totally recommend this store for any bride looking for a beautiful gown at an affordable price. They also do tuxedo rentals and mother of the bride/bridesmaids dresses. It was worth the long drive from Northern VA.
Looking forward to September to start doing the fitting appointments and seeing all the pieces together (dress, veil, headpiece) that I purchased there. Overall, it was a great experience.

The perfect dress and the best experience!
Caryn’s was a wonderful experience. I met them at a wedding show after going to multiple shops and failing to fall in love with a dress. I found my dress right away at Caryn’s! Cindy was professional and extremely helpful. She made sure to show me all of their options so I was sure I really had found the perfect dress. Exceptional Mother of the Groom Experience
After striking out locally while looking for a mother of the groom dress, I found Caryn's Bridal online. The two hour drive one way was well worth it. The Manager, Cindy, was most helpful both online prior to my trip and during my appointment there. She remembered every detail that I shared with her, made good selections for me to try, and gave great advice when I was conflicted about a choice. My dress needed to be ordered for color, and my experience was as pleasant on my return trip. The staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, patient and friendly. The customer service was top notch. I cannot say enough good things about Caryn's Bridal. Try them, I promise you won't be disappointed.

A Wonderful Experience
Today was such a wonderful experience. I only went to look at dresses, not to even try them on. Olivia bridal consultant came over, showed me around and asked me did I want to try on anything. I tried on several dresses and found my perfect one. I never thought I would go for this kind of dress but once I tried it on, I fell in love. The staff is wonderful and such a beautiful place. Wonderful Experience
Had a wonderful experience at Caryn's Bridal after going to several other places. I was concerned about how many dresses they would have due to being a plus size bride and I spoke to Cindy before I made the appointment and she assured me they would have plenty for me to try on and she was right. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to order a dress so I had to buy off the rack and they made sure I would be able to find something that would work for me. My consultant was Kaitlin and she was absolutely great! I didn't feel the pressure of making a decision at that moment because I wasn't sure between two dresses. We left and spent some time making a decision. I called right before they were closing and they let me come over and make the purchase before I went back to Richmond. I highly suggest that you go to Caryn's and make it your first place to go - I wish I had!!

Run to Caryn’s
We have purchased several formal gowns over the years from Caryn’s so naturally we planned a visit for my wedding gown. I found my gown the first day but went back a second time just to be sure. I was never pressured. I was encouraged to try on more gowns. I’m full figured and they had lots of choices. My party and I felt cared for each visit. When I went for my fitting, they brought my Dad upstairs via their private elevator so he could enjoy the experience with me. Speaking of fitting, Caryn makes sure your gown fits perfect and charges a very reasonable fee. Sometimes alterations cost as much as the gown. Not here! Caryn’s is worth the drive to Farmville!

Every bit worth the drive from Richmond. I had no intention of getting a dress the day I went, but I found the perfect one for the perfect price. Don’t live in Farmville? Trust me, you’re going to want to make the drive because Caryn’s is the best! The atmosphere is calm, professional and they work right within the specifications and budget you discuss. They also offer “Say Yes to the Dress” discounts for accessories (like your veil), and percentage off of bridesmaid dresses. I met with Kaitlin, and she was amazing! Great experience! Made me feel special and took time to really get to know me and what I was looking for! Great selection and just happened to luck out at the annual sale! All alterations are $250 which is very reasonable. Dressing rooms are really big and they give you a robe to wear in between dresses which you don’t see at other stores. Also dressing rooms and mirrors are way more private then other salons I went to which made the experience much more intimate. Caryn and her staff were so sweet and I’m so happy I went here for my dress!

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Olivia, wow! Hands down, because of you - you helped me find my dream dress and made me feel like Megan Markle. She was relaxed, easy going, and very knowledgeable. She even took the extra step to pull bridesmaids dresses to see which colors would look beautiful beside my dress. My fiancé and I changed the date of our wedding from October of 2019 to October of 2019 and I called Caryns right when we changed the date to see if they’d be able to assist in helping me find a dress and have it ordered in time which the short timeframe. Cindy assured me they would be able to assist me and stayed in contact with me and made me feel important and welcome. This was by far the best decision I’ve made driving an hour and twenty minutes away it was so worth it. Olivia was the girl who helped me and she made me feel so comfortable and amazing in the dress I said yes to! Great selection of dresses for mother of the bride, best I have seen anywhere, and I have been to a lot of places! I found the perfect dress, and I am thrilled! I was giving up hope on finding the perfect dress, but Caryn's made it a reality. Can't thank Cindy enough for her help, she was wonderful and very knowledgeable. The location is Farmville is so charming, and worth the trip. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend it for the entire wedding party, they have an amazing selection of wedding gowns too!

I presented Caryn's with a very tight timeline (under 3 months!) to get the perfect dress for my destination wedding. Other vendors made me feel guilty, or as though I was burdening them with my request to get a dress so quickly, but Kaitlin never even mentioned it and helped me find my perfect dress. She was so very patient with me, offered very helpful suggestions when I had questions, and I truly felt like a valued customer each time I was in the store; not only by Kaitlin, but by the other consultants, owner, and other staff throughout the store. In addition to all that, I have specific religious standards I have to meet in a dress - again, something other bridal stores made me feel guilty about. When I asked about being able to line the sheer back of the dress I fell in love with, Kaitlin and the seamstress didn't even bat an eyelash, and assured me it was certainly something they could do and had done in the past. One of my favorite parts of the whole experience was being able to look through their collections online and make a wishlist before I entered the store. That quickly grew my confidence level that Caryn's would be able to meet my needs. When I arrived, Kaitlin made quick work of getting my wishlist loaded into my dressing room while allowing me to browse in case I missed something. I don't have a single negative thing to say about my experience.

Kaitlyn was AWESOME!!! I went into Caryn’s thinking that I wasn’t going to find a dress so I would at least try on different styles to see what I may like. Kaitlyn pulled all the dresses on my wishlist and made it very easy. I was thrilled that I said “YES TO THE DRESS”. Thank you Kaitlin!!!

Cindy was awesome! She was very good at asking the right questions and making dress selections based on my input. She provided advice on accessories as well. We had fun while making important decisions at the same time. I definitely recommend.

My consultant, Kaitlyn, was amazing during my appointment and she really took her time with me to ensure I found the perfect dress! She was not pushy at all (like most consultants usually are) and I would absolutely recommend going to see her at Caryn's to find your perfect dress!

I cannot write in words how special Caryn's bridal and my consultant (Cindy, manager) made me feel during my appointment! I had initially scheduled an appointment to view bridesmaid dress options with my mother, but months of buyer's remorse with the original wedding gown from a different bridal store was dampening my happiness. Cindy was very understanding and went above and beyond by fitting me into her schedule. I essentially was able to have a "do-over" with only my Mom, which is the best "entourage" a girl can have I've come to figure out. Cindy pulled several dresses and was able to narrow down my likes/dislikes just based on my expression/body language. With her help, I found the perfect dress for my day PLUS a beautiful veil with accessories (earrings, bracelet). The dressing rooms are spacious, the family viewing area is private, and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. The icing on the cake was that my Mom found a beautiful mother-of-the-bride dress that day as well. I plan on taking my bridesmaids back to Caryn's for their dresses given I had such a positive, memorable experience. Thanks Caryn's (and Cindy!) for making that day one for the books!
