Ray was the DJ/Emcee for our wedding on April 7, 2018. But the fun didn't start on that day, it started the first time I talked to him on the phone. He came highly recommended, and he did not disappoint! He was so patient, as I changed my song requests several times over the eight months of planning for our special day. As we got closer to the date, he helped me come up with an itinerary and worked with the photographer (they had worked together before, which was a plus) to ensure everything flowed smoothly on our wedding day. He even helped calm my nerves on the phone a couple of days before the wedding when a storm threatened to ruin our outdoor event. He assured me, he'd been doing what he does best for many years, and everything would be just fine. In fact, our wedding day was better that fine. It was such a great day. Ray made sure everyone had a great time, played music everyone could dance to, and kept things moving right along. We finally had to tell everyone to go home or they would have partied all night long. My family and friends are still talking about him. Best DJ ever! If you are looking to have fun, this is your guy! He keeps the party going. Music selection is awesome, he's hilarious and actually interacts with everyone. My cousins liked him so much, they're asking for me to have another wedding.

Ray is amazing -- I've known him for years and knew that he would be great for our reception! He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and our guests have raved about him. He provided exactly the kind of atmosphere that we wanted - classy, fun, and interactive.

As soon as my husband and I got engaged in May of 2014, we booked Ray Cartwright. He DJ'd my sister's wedding in 2012, and we knew he would also be the perfect DJ for us! From the beginning Ray was very responsive via email and phone -- asking us about our wedding and what sort of event we're planning to host. About 2 or 3 weeks before the wedding my husband and I had a meeting with Ray at his house. There we discussed all of the details of the day. Ray not only gave us a preview of how he will MC/DJ our wedding (jokes included), but also created a wedding timeline for us to give to all of our vendors and helped us determine how our unbalanced bridal party should walk down the aisle. During the week leading up to the wedding Ray called me to make sure we were on the same page with everything (I was a somewhat indecisive bride - lol). On the day of our wedding (11-14-15) Ray was incredible! To start, he set the tone for our ceremony, provided a microphone for our Minister and helped all of our bridal party look sharp by fixing their pocket squares. When it was time to party, Ray made sure to keep me and my husband in the loop with everything that was happening and helped the whole evening flow perfectly (something our guests complimented us on). Additionally, Ray had ALL of our guests (even my 95-year-old grandma) out of their seats and on the dance floor. He is a MUST for your wedding! Ray knows how to read a crowd and keep the party going. He isn't the typical DJ that stays behind the booth all night. He walks around your event, gets to know your guests, takes photos and makes everyone feel like they are truly apart of your special day. Ray will remain my family's go-to DJ for many years to come. Ray is absolutely amazing, he was way more than what I could have asked for. You will get that sense from the first meeting because will basically walk you through your whole wedding and you will see his experience. You can tell he has fun with what he does because he even has cute fun wedding games to play to get everyone to interact. Plus if you search him on Yelp you will not find one bad review. I promise you, you will not be disappointed if you hired Ray.Ray is absolutely amazing, he was way more than what I could have asked for. I felt good about choosing DJ Ray from the moment I heard his smooth voice on the phone. Ray DJed at my cousins wedding about 7 years ago and although I didn't quite remember him, I trusted my cousins' recommendation based on the fact that any DJ who got our family out on the dance floor is amazing. In the upcoming weeks of my wedding, as I was stressing out over minor details, meeting with Ray and having him essentially fine-tune our entire timeline for the reception alleviated me of a huge load and made me feel really excited about the wedding (which I needed among that stress!)
Ray has such a fun and friendly personality and knows how to get the party started! And he sings too! He kept a fun flow throughout our reception and definitely knew how to keep the dance floor full. Everybody agreed that he was great, and I realize now how important a Dj is in setting the tone and flow of your wedding night. Ray was wonderful and I highly recommend him for all brides who want a good time for their wedding!

The BEST ever!! He is so personable and has done so many weddings that he has it down perfect! He played all the songs we wanted and waited toward the end of the night for the dance club type songs. He kept the wedding flowing perfect by telling us when things needed to be done. He let us know that we should greet the tables... we should be do the cake. When we were going to cut the cake it was so much fun about asking everyone if we should smush it in each others faces or not. He really got everyone involved. He was great when we met up with the first time to discuss everything. We are soooo happy we went with him. I have been telling all my forends to go with him!! So great!The BEST ever!! I have a huge family and have been to alot of weddings. Ray is by far the best D.J ever. I would plan my whole wedding around him. He made our wedding the best party ever.
