Everyone at Cartwright and Daughters was amazing to work with. We got the sailcloth tent which was stunning and a perfect fit. All of the employees who came in during the planning stage were extremely helpful coordinating what tent and what size would work best for our venue. All of the staff that set up the tent as well as supplied all of the tables/chairs etc were super friendly and easy to work with as well. Definitely recommend for all tent/party needs.

Easy to work with!

Jill was amazing to work with for planning rentals for our wedding at Locust Grove Estates. She worked seamlessly with our caterer, Spice Catering, to ensure we had all the rentals needed for our wedding. Jill had a wide variety of colors and options for flatware rentals. She was also honest about what items would be an upcharge and what wouldn’t be based on the quote created. Once we chose everything for the wedding, we didn’t have to worry and she handled it with our caterer from there. We HIGHLY recommend Cartwright.

Fabulous tent rental & service

We only realized that we needed a tent 3 1/2 weeks prior to the wedding date. As soon as I spoke with Veronica of Cartwright & Daughters Tents & Party Rentals, I knew we had nothing to worry about. She asked all the right questions, went through everything we could possibly need, suggested ways to save money and made everything seem effortless. Their team even did a site inspection before the install to insure there would be no concerns. I would use them again in a second and highly recommend their services. The tent was beautiful and we had no problems in the wind and rain of my brother's wedding. It could not have been better.

A friend recommended Cartwright and Daughters stating the quality, cleanliness and service was the best around. I was so happy to find that they were also less expensive than others in the area.
Gina was amazing; from her professionalism, kindness, knowledge and good-nature. Due to the pandemic we rescheduled our wedding three times, and Jill and the Cartwright team were incredibly helpful and responsive through all the delays and changes. Made the wedding reception setting perfect!

The tent with lighting was lovely, the dance floor and DJ station perfect. It was hot day in July - with thunderstorm and the tent kept he party going. Cartwright reminded me to consider rain side drapes in the days before the wedding when the forecast grew more ominous - whew, so glad they did as by then I had a lot on my mind. This was just a perfect setting and the people could not have been nicer or more helpful.

My daughter and son in law’s wedding venue was forced to close only 3 1/2 months before her wedding!!!
We pivoted to an outdoor venue at beautiful Lakewood Estate in Croton NY, the proprietor Greta Hanson proffered Cartwright and Daughters for the tent.

Outdoor Wedding

We rented a beautiful open tent with elegant chandeliers from Cartwright & Daughters for our wedding. The tent was spacious and all of our guests felt comfortable and cool under the tent. They were timely and set up the tent the day prior to the wedding. We highly recommend Cartwright & Daughters.

Perfect fairytale wedding

We are so happy that Cartwright was our caterer's preferred rental co. Jill was extremely helpful throughout the whole process of planning a wedding from across the state. We were never able to make it to the show room, so she talked me through my choices and sent additional photos to help make my decisions. Cartwright Rentals provided a large tent, several marquis, and every plate, glass, and caterer requested equipment. The condition of every item they provided was exceptional. The tent was pristine white and the silverware looked new. I worked with Jill who was professional and very accommodating with last minute changes due to weather conditions. Cartwright and Daughters was helpful from the very beginning. Understood what was needed for the event and scheduled right away to see property on sight and take measurements. Right after, got a quote detailing all the requested items. Next thing you know, they are on site 3 days before the event setting up the tent. Thank you for everything.

Another 2020 story

So as you know this year has been challenging for everyone. We had to cancel my daughters wedding twice. We then finally decided to have it in the back yard and having heard great things about them I called Cartwright & Daughters. From my first conversation with Jill I was glad I did. She and her team of installers made the whole process stress free. The day of the wedding we were concerned about the weather and thought we needed additional sides for the tent. She and her kids (on a Sat morning) came right over the installed them for me. All in all we had a wonderful day, and a big part of that was due to Cartwright & Daughters!!!

Terrific start to finish!

After my sons wedding was cancelled at a venue upstate we had to replan a whole new wedding in 5 weeks - we had it at our home. Cartwright was amazing, so understanding, patient and flexible. They worked with us and created a beautiful at home venue in our yard. It was amazing!

Best decision I made!

Had a July wedding in our backyard and needed to rent tables and chairs. They were so easy to work with! Turned out it was going to rain on our day so last minute they were able to provide us a tent and dance floor! Drop off, set up and pick up was a breeze!

I highly recommend Cartwright for your event needs. My wedding was the 5th to be held at my parent's farm and Cartwright by far was superior service and tent for our needs. Great vintage furniture and lawn games for wedding

Working with Rose and Tracy were a pleasure. Everything was delivered on time, perfect condition and picked up seamlessly. They were able to get us the items we wanted and more! We used Cartwright for our wedding and they were AMAZING! They helped create the exact look and feeling we wanted for our special day, without breaking the bank. Jill was super attentive and on top of everything, including the weather. We ended up needing a tent for our ceremony and didn’t realize we needed one until a few days before, but she was also watching the weather and made sure a nice one was ready for us in case we needed (very impressed.) Our overall experience with this company was phenomenal, they are extremely professional, while still making you feel like family. We HIGHLY recommend using Cartwright & Daughters for whatever occasion you can! We certainly will be!

Cartwright & Daughters was a dream to work with. They provided all the rentals for our October wedding, and it was really just incredible. Our venue was a rustic, outdoor barn-style building, and my husband and I didn't want to go with the burlap and mason jar vibe (although Cartwright had EVERYTHING we would have needed to create a Pinterest-perfect barn wedding). Cassandra worked with me to make table settings that were more beautiful than anything I could have possibly imagined. Her customer service was some of the best I've ever encountered- in the weeks leading up to the wedding, I was stressing out and wanted to make some changes but didn't have time to get down to their showroom, so Cassandra set tables and emailed me photos of the different setting options. She made suggestions and really listened to what I wanted. She was so responsive and accommodating. Cartwright also worked with my venue's tight schedule, and they came in at 10:30 on Saturday night to pick up all of the rentals. Everything they delivered was beautiful and clean. I would recommend Cartwright & Daughters to anyone who is hosting a large party- their selection is incredible and they have some really unique and beautiful pieces available, their staff is accommodating, kind, and creative, they coordinated perfectly with my other vendors, and their pricing is either the same or a slightly better value than other rental companies we looked at (although when you're renting 150 place settings, every penny counts!) Thank you Cartwright, for giving my wedding the aesthetic that I dreamed of!

When I was enthusiastically referred to Cartwright & Daughters for a tent for our son's outdoor home wedding, I had no idea how much that choice would set the tone for just about everything. Jill was amazing and could not have been more helpful, personable and professional. I found her experience and guidance equal to that of a seasoned wedding planner, and we cruised through what was needed with fun and ease. (She even found us a phenomenal caterer!). Their tents are impressively beautiful and, together with everything else they neatly and accurately supplied, set a scene that was truly magical. They made it so easy. Cartwright & Daughters was fabulous with the tenting for my backyard wedding in Bedford, NY. They were flexible and very responsive to my many questions and requests. Since our wedding day turned out to me unseasonable cold, they were able to provide us with patio heaters last minute and were very helpful explaining our options. They were fabulous at installation and left no ruts on the grass upon tent set up. Our tent, lighting, and chairs were all beautiful and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for rental services!

Jill and Cassandra were a pleasure to work with. From our very first meeting with them, they answered all our questions and advised us every step of the way. Weather reports wavered - first we thought we would we need heaters- then we thought we'd need sidewalls for rain - we finally ended up with a warm, sunny day and Jill was wonderful in helping us make the changes we needed to make right up to the last minute! The result was a fabulous wedding celebration under a beautiful tent (complete with a children's table - small in size with chairs to match and a 'living room' set up complete with comfy sofas and chairs. Had an absolutely amazing experience working with Cassandra and the girls at Cartwright! They helped make sure I had every little thing I needed for my outdoor wedding. Our wedding was on natural ground and at first I was a bit nervous I would forget things but Cartwright helped me think of all things necessary so nothing would be forgotten!! We have used cartwright for multiple events at our home, the largest being my wedding. They are always responsive, kind and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this vendor for any party or wedding! Everyone was extremely helpful from start to finish. Our wedding was completely outdoors on a private property and we were looking to accommodate about 120 guests. They were quick to set up a site visit and were up front about how best to achieve what we were looking for. I never had trouble getting in contact with anyone and they were flexible up to the last week before the wedding with some last minute changes. Also the staff who dropped off and installed the rentals were professional, respectful, and worked efficiently. I was extremely pleased that I never had to worry about anything on their end and it was a pleasure speaking with Cassandra, who worked with me from day one. I hope I have an opportunity to work with them again in the future!

My wife and I got married up in North Salem, NY, where her parents have a house. Cartwright & Daughters was the lead vendor that we looked at from the beginning. But it was clear after the first few back-and-forth dealings that they were a masterful, slam-dunk of a choice. We had nothing but good experiences with them in the logistical planning of our wedding. So incredibly helpful. From the selection of table linens to the building (and disassembling) of our tent. And what can I say about Jill that probably hasn't been reiterated in the other comments? She's a saint. So knowledgable, unflappable, and incredibly nice to boot. We were so lucky to find Cartwright to help with all our wedding rentals. We had wedding at home and they provided everything from tent and kitchen equipment, to tables and table tops. They have a wide selection and the best value. Most of all they are the nicest people, easy to work with, flexible (always helpful with stressful wedding planning) and professional. I LOVED working with Cartwright. The women working there are very nice and extremely helpful. They were also very responsive and flexible. There was an issue with my venue where I had to end up sharing a tent with another couple the following day because of time constraints, which changed my entire wedding (which had already been completely finished!). Cartwright was not only willing to help me re-plan almost my entire set of wedding rentals, but they were incredibly helpful in doing so. They made the situation so much easier on me. Cassandra was amazingly helpful and patient. She helped us make sure we had everything we needed and stay within our budget. My drop off and pick up parameters for everything was incredibly tight because of the venue and she worked with us and worked within the time frames. She was especially patient when it came to us making a decision about a tent rental for our ceremony which was outdoors, the weather forecasts up until the day before the wedding was all over the place. I really didn't want to have the ceremony under a tent, but knew if it rained I would have no choice. I was resisting making the final decision on it because I was really hoping the weather would be good. This went on until 2 days before the wedding she reassured me that if I had decided not to get it and the weather changed and I was definitely going to need one they would be able to take care of it. She was extremely patient and reassuring with my resistance to make a final decision which was what I really needed since the weather was the most stressful part of the wedding planning. The weather turned out great. They made planning super easy and everything looked incredible.

Right from the very beginning, Jill and Cassandra were extremely helpful, easy to work with, and very professional. They guided us in the right direction and provided many examples until we found exactly what we were looking for. From the beginning I knew I wanted a family run business to help with my daughter's wedding. Being a small business owner myself I was counting on the care, attention to detail & "personal" approach a family run business can provide. Cartwright Rentals, Jill & Cassandra, did not disappoint! The Stillwater Tent with bistro lighting, farm chairs, wine barrels & cherry flooring completed the rustic wedding my daughter desired. Everyone raved on how gorgeous the tent was. If you are looking for a stress free experience Cartwright Party Rentals is the vendor to choose.

My husband and I were married at a rustic old summer camp so we needed to rent a lot of stuff. Cartwright and Daughters totally transformed the place, making it an elegant wedding venue. They were also a delight to work with leading up to the wedding -- totally responsive and helpful!

Jill, Cassandra and their team were just awesome..The wedding brunch and evening reception went so smoothly and beautifully! .The team assembled and dissembled the tent and all accessories with great care and professionalism, and were very responsive to all our requests till the end. I would recommend Cartwright and Daughters in a heart beat!! Thanks for everything!!

Cartwright & Daughters provided us with everything we needed for our wedding. Jill was incredibly helpful when we needed to make decisions, bounce ideas off of her, and in getting everything perfect on the big day. Our tent and all of our rental equipment from Cartwright was exactly how we wanted.

Cartwright & Daughters Tent Co. was beyond our expectations!! From the beginning to the end their professionalism and sensitivity to our daughter's wedding was an amazing experience for our family. They were always available for any questions or concerns we had and their attention to detail was extrodinary!

My wedding planner, Ashley Douglass Events, rented a tent and lighting from Cartwright. Because the tent was, "just in case" of rain, I rented what I thought was a barebones tent. However, the tent from Cartwright was absolutely beautiful. The ceiling was beautiful and the poles were covered... people thought I wanted a tented event the whole time. In the pictures, the tent is stunning. The service was also personable and friendly. Hopefully, I will be able to have an event in my backyard that will include using Cartwright again. Thanks for making my wedding beautiful, between the drops of rain.

Not only was everyone at Cartwright professional and helpful with the 'routine' rentals (linens, dishes, etc.), but they were enormously helpful for our rental of a Quebbie DJ in a Box. I'd never used or even seen one before, and they were very accomodating and patient letting us experiment and set up play lists before our wedding.

If you want a company that you can completely depend on the day of your wedding, hire Cartwright! Everything was in perfect condition, it all arrived on time, and compared to other companies, a great value! I felt their prices were very fair for the great quality of product we received! I had a great experience from the time we picked out everything in the showroom. Jill was our contact person and she couldn't be nicer, she's very professional and will work things out to fit your budget. I would recommend getting the damage waiver. It was expensive but well worth it - I heard the crashing of glasses during the cocktail hour and never had to worry because of my waiver! If I ever need a rental company again, I will only hire Cartwright & Daughters!

We chose Cartwright because they worked with our caterer in the past and came highly recommended. They knew what we needed, got there way early to deliver and picked up the next day. They were invisible during the party. I would certainly user Cartwright again.

Wonderful staff - all of our correspondance was over the phone and they were able to help me with the rental of charger plates and the card box. Saved me a lot of stress and travel the days before the wedding by delivering and picking up the items to and from the catering hall. I really think the charger plates added and classy and beautiful touch to our table settings. Thank you for your help and professionalism!

Cartwright & Daughters was one of my absolute favorite vendors for our wedding - and I had great vendors! Jill was so helpful and organized. She provided feedback and guidance and made sure we had everything we needed! One of the most helpful things is that they're open to change - so you can reserve what you think you'll need and once final guest lists come in, adjust the quantities to trim the expense. They're honest and fair and make sure that you're renting only what you need! I loved working with Cartwright and would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Hudson Valley!

Everyone at Cartwright & Daughters Tent & Party rentals was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the moment I began planning for my wedding to the day of the event, their staff was there with the knowledge and experience I was looking for. Their tent and rentals were clean and beautiful and everything was delivered and set up on time. They are a family company and you can see the pride they take in their sevice.
