Carter was phenomenal to work with, she brought our vision and dreams to life! She was diligent to keeping everything on time, moving fast and capturing all the moments. She provided more photos than I even imagined, including a beautiful wedding album, film photos and delivered all photos on time. To the engagement shoot until the big day she was our biggest cheerleader, hype girl and so so kind. We have gotten so many compliments to her work and I would recommend her over and over again. She is truly incredible at capture beautiful moments and making your day feel like a fairy tale wedding. The photos are truly breathtaking! -

Carter photographed our July 2025 wedding in Youngstown, OH
A year before our wedding, we met for coffee and I got to tell her about our wedding and what we were looking for in a photographer. Our energy and values felt very aligned and it made the decision easy to go with her. Literally never worried once from the moment we booked her to the day of the wedding because I knew she was going to kill it and she totally delivered.
Leading up to the wedding, she was able to give me feedback on our day-of timeline, and we went back and forth several times to make sure we had allotted the appropriate amount of time for the different parts of the day.
The day of the wedding she played a huge role in helping things go smoothly. Her attitude and demeanor made everyone feel so comfortable. Her presence was just so supportive, and nothing felt forced. She was really centered my husband and I's experience and made sure the day went exactly how WE wanted. Our wedding day was quite hot, and she worked with us to do some photos inside and some outside. No matter the setting or lighting, the photos turned out beautiful which really shows how talented she is. Our photos turned out beautifully, and captured the classic and timeless look we were going for :)

Phenomenal!
I can not say enough about Carter and what a phenomenal job she did capturing our special day. Throughout the entire process Carter was professional and was able to answer any (and all) questions I had. She was able to provide timelines and documents which helped our day run seamlessly. Carter photographed our beautiful engagement photos
Carter is your photographer if you want beautiful photos and want to also have a great time while taking them. I was initially drawn to Carter’s eye for color and for detail. She also proved to be a great communicator, professional, organized, and the best hype man. I can also confidently say Carter is down for anything to get the shot. We challenged her with an engagement shoot on moving motorcycles in the middle of a county road at dusk. Not only was she game but delivered the raddest photos. -

Carter is such a pleasure to work with! We have photographed with her twice and plan on scheduling many more! She is kind, easy going, and very flexible. Incredible Wedding Photography Experience
Carter photographed my wedding back in July. She was very easy to work with, as she was professional, timely, and fun to be around. She did a great job at posing my husband and I for both our engagement and wedding photos. Additionally, she was great on the day of our wedding, easing nerves and making the entire process seamless. She did wonderfully with the editing, and I feel she went above and beyond what we desired. -

Carter was amazing to have shoot our day! She was communicative, easy to speak with and personable! Our wedding weather was rain all day and I appreciated her flexibility and creativity to still make sure we got memorable shots. Carter nailed it!
We spent a lot of time researching and talking with different photographers in the area and we decided to move forward with Carter mainly because of her excitement about being a part of our wedding. The sincerity in her voice along with her actions assured us that we were in good hands and that she genuinely wanted to deliver her best work for us.
My husband and I aren't huge picture people and we describe ourselves as pretty awkward in front of the camera, so working with someone that would assure us with good photos but not take us away from all the fun all night was really important to us. Carter did an absolute AMAZING job making us look like pros in front of the camera without taking us away from our friends and family. We also received our sneak peek SO FAST, which having several friends and family members recently get married, is literally unheard of. Having Carter be a part of our day was one of the best decisions we made and we recommend any couple who is getting married to look into working with her. My only regret is not having her for longer to snap more photos of us for the rest of the night. -

We booked Carter for our September 2025 wedding, and unfortunately, the experience ended up being very disappointing and surprising.
Our first conversation was great, she told me several times that we were “soul sisters” and felt “so connected,” and I left feeling excited to work together.
Days after we verbally committed, my fiancé’s grandfather unexpectedly passed away. As you can imagine, with months to the wedding this was very difficult. We had to travel across the country in the days following for his funeral, which happened to fall on the same day the retainer was due. I tried to make the payment but got an error. I immediately sent her a screenshot explaining and hoping to resolve, but didn’t hear back until the next day. By then, the payment was technically late. When I followed up and told her we were at the mass, her only response was: “Thanks for the update, the proposal expires soon, and the retainer is overdue".
We had also asked early on if my sister or brother-in-law could take a few film photos at the wedding. She initially said that was fine “as long as they didn’t get in her way,” which we appreciated and understood. However, when the contract arrived, there was a section stating this was not allowed. We exchanged a couple of texts about it, and before I could even respond further to clarify, I woke up to a message that she was terminating our contract, citing “preemptive breach of contract.” The message was extremely blunt and cold. I was shocked.
Before I even had the chance to ask questions or resolve the confusion, she blocked me on Instagram and other platforms. I fully respect that every photographer has the right to create their own policies and boundaries, but the way this was handled felt abrupt and extremely unprofessional, especially since my messages were always respectful and open to compromise.
Throughout our communication, her tone often felt scripted and impersonal. Coming from a tech background, it was clear to me much of it was likely written with AI tools. Wedding planning is such a personal process, you want to feel like you’re working with a human who cares. After experiencing such a significant loss in our family, what we needed most was empathy and clarity, but instead it felt transactional, like she was just trying to secure a check.
Thankfully, we met many amazing photographers throughout this process and were able to find someone special who most importantly aligns with our values, but who also had no issue with my sister capturing a few film photos. I would just encourage couples to really consider who they give their money to when booking photographers, and to choose someone whose professionalism and values match the kind of experience they want on their wedding day. -
