Perfect venue

I feel in love with this place the first time I went to visit. I like that everything was included. Worked with alot of people but they were all nice. My day of went good without any problems. I love this places n will definitely be having another event

My rating is a 5 because of the experience I had with General Manager, Donna, and Event Coordinator, LouElla, as well as their kitchen staff (especially TAMMY, she is a KEEPER!!!). When I first began coordinating wedding events their was a different manager and event planner and I must admit I wasn't the most confident with them. However, once new management took over I definitely was able to relax knowing that each detail of our wedding was in good hands. They were friendly, accommodating, and the space and package were amazing for the price!!! I will never forget the great memory I was able to create with my husband thanks to Pi Banquet Hall! WOW, Jill was simply amazing. She made my dreams come true. All the times I reached out to her with any concerns, she responded very quickly. The venue was set up gracefully, and the staff at Pi Banquet Hall was so pleasant. Everyone was helpful. Guests are still talking about our wedding. Jill and Pi.....thanks for everything. I adore the day thanks to you!!!

Pi Banquet Hall made my night absolutely WONDERFUL. I am forever grateful to Jill and the rest of her staff. They made our night something we will remember for the rest of our lives. Jill saved us several times and we appreciate her for that. Her assistant Cheryl was wonderful as well. We were extremely satisfied.

The Only thing we would want changed is that the serving staff wore uniforms for a more professional appearance. Don't get us wrong, the staff was very professional...We just wanted them to look the part as well. Other than that everything was fabulous.

The GM of the venue is awesome and made sure that the event was a success. The service was impeccable and I would recommend Pi Banquet to friends and family.

Excellent venue. Great atmosphere, willing to work with my budget to make my day perfect, great food, very professional staff. Highly recommend them for a wedding. They were willing to accommodate changes until 2 days before the wedding.

The venue was very elegant and up to Parr. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I an=m planning on having every event here. Oh did I say that the food was delicious, fresh and satisfying.

This is my second event at Pi. My guests were quite pleased with the food and the large dining room. I had concerns about the saltiness of the food, but it was all quite delicious! Everyone had a great time.

The food and service were excellent. We were a small party, but in no way felt as if we didnt get the full treatment. It is a very nice venue.

This is the second party I have had with PI and they were and are very accommodating - when I arrived I needed more 6' tables and they had no issues in getting them to me everything was perfect!

The event was worry free because all the details were taken care of by the staff who were very professional and helpful. I would most definitely recommend Pi Banquet to other businesses and to friends.

We searched high and low for an affordable venue that seemed trustworthy and thankfully found it! Jill was great with making sure everything went the way we wanted it to. We had so many compliments on how beautiful everything was!
My only complaint is that they can be kind of hard to get a hold of. I called numerous times and the phone just kept ringing. Other than that, we loved it!

I looked at so many different places before choosing here.....I loved the lighting and the little built in room in the women's bathroom that I was able to use to get ready in, thu maybe a fan in there would make it tons better. Wish the hours were later, having to be out by midnight meant our wedding was over at 11:15 to get everything/one out in time. I highly suggest putting a sign/balloons out at the street if you do have a party here, many guests said they passed it and had to do the MI left two more times to make it in. I loved that the crew moved the chairs from the ceremony room to the reception room.

The only down was no Flexibility on serving Iced Tea with dinner instead of Hot Tea.. :-(
The Service was Quality, Responsive, and Professional. They made celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary a special event one that we will talk about for years.
Jill was very helpful and worked to make our Vow Renewal a Wonderful Ceremony/Dinner.

The food was good and the venue looked beautiful for our wedding reception. They were very flexible in accommodating us to set up for the wedding and also helping out with set up.
My only complaint is that they forgot to have the champagne out for the toasts, and I heard several complaints from our guests that the staff at the event were rather rude throughout the night.

Overall, it was very nice and a great experience.

Working with Jill was great. She is very professional and respond time to questions was alway timely. The Day of the event was more than expected. The food and service was really good. One minor mishap the snow had not been removed from the parking lot. When it was brought to management attention the snow was removed shortly after.

I had my bridal shower here. First and foremost, the food was fantastic. We had the Chicken Florentine, mixed vegetables, and cheddar and green onion mashed potatoes. When my maid of honor asked that they just not bring her the chicken, they came right back out with a plate of double vegetables and double potatoes. She was very happy about this. They were very accommodating to other guests with special food requests.

The decor is decent, but I did have an issue with the rope lighting. I believe that this could be nice if it were behind something, but being front and center brings the class of the place down a bit.

My biggest issue with the place is that it's IMPOSSIBLE to find. First, there is more than one Franklin Rd. Then, there's an abandoned building in front of it, and a bunch of trees around it. I think if there was a big sign, or if the dilapidated building was torn down, it would make it a lot easier to find. A lot of my guests were late because they couldn't find the place.

All in all, the venue is fantastic and I was very impressed with my shower.

My wedding turned out amazing!!! The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the horrible experience I had with prior management but since the change in management, Donna and Luella worked with me to make my dream wedding a reality! On my wedding day, Donna was right there with me each step of the way making sure everything was perfect. The food is AMAZING, I got so many compliments... And since me and my husband were having such a great time we forgot to eat, but the chef made us to go plates which blew me away. I had a non traditional wedding and reception with events and moments in both that were in no other wedding and Donna made sure her staff were on top of every detail. I wish I could do it all over again. Pi Banquet Hall was amazing!

My wedding exceeded my expectations. Pi is a place where you can have free reign over how you want your event to look and feel. It allows great flexibility. The staff was very helpful and prompt on the day of my event. I highly recommend this place for any event.

My overall experience was great. I did have a few communication issues in the beginning, but they were quickly resolved. I found the all inclusive options to be life saving because it took a lot of hassle off of me. Would definitely recommend to others looking to have a lovely ceremony for an inexpensive price.

Very friendly staff, the hall was ready and very well organized by the time of the event.
The food was delicious! Very fresh and well displayed... people raved about the roast beef.
We upgraded the bar package and it was great... good wine and liquors.

Wonderful staff. Great service. Easy to work with. We used the facility for a business meeting and would like to recommend the following improvements; increase the lighting by replacing the burned out bulbs in the ceiling (too dim); and replace or repair/clean the drapery; appears to be falling from the ceiling and pinned together. Thank you so much.

We had our wedding reception here on May 14th. The reception itself was beautiful, and Pi did a great job of accommodating the DDR and Skee-ball machines that we rented for the night. The room was nicely set up exactly how we had planned it, and everyone said how great it looked. The food was amazing, we went with the family style dinner which everyone seemed to enjoy. The staff were timely in bringing out food and dinner started right on time. They even brought out already made plates for my husband and I for the main course so we didn't have to serve ourselves! What gets them a 3 star rating (and I would do 3 1/2 stars if it allowed) was how unorganized they seemed in the beginning. We started the process with Donna, who was very helpful in going through everything with us. Part way through, Jill came back and we got her caught up on everything we had discussed with Donna. About a month before the reception, we were informed that Donna would be the go-to person for the night of. We had to again catch Donna up on all of the last minute details. It didn't seem like they kept all of our decisions in one place, so no one really knew the big picture. Luckily we had our own wedding planner, who was able to make extra trips to Pi to make sure everyone was on the same page. Without her, I would give Pi a solid 3 star rating for their lack of organization. But again, the night of the reception went off without a hitch, and we’ve had nothing but compliments about Pi from all our guests!

First experience with Tony was great. However, Jill was rude, short and not very helpful. Prices were good. Day of the event my vendors were not able to get in at time agreed upon.

I selected PI Banquet Hall because of its great location to a major thoroughfare and how lovely it looked on the inside. When speaking to the coordinator in the beginning stages prior to securing the venue, she made everything seem so wonderful and positive and gave me green lights across the board to my suggestions. This made me further interested in securing the site. However once the contract was signed, I was made aware that the lights that were missing could not be replaced prior to my event (even though I was told that they could be). The lights were not even consistently the same color all the way around the space. While this venue may offer offsite catering, I found it odd that the delicious, although very expensive menu that I'd purchased, could not be wrapped and the remainder taken home. It was said to be a liability if someone were to get sick or if anything happened to anyone who consumed the food off of the premises. Isn't that exactly the process when you offsite cater? I totally felt as if my meal was rushed and was the highlight for the staff. The servers we had that evening were awesome!!! Nothing negative can be said about them. They even made a special allowance to accommodate the photo booth that would not fit into the party space. It's hard to say if I would refer them because I'm torn between yes and no. But definitely I would not to a friend.

Maybe for a shower or birthday

This location is not suitable for a small wedding, in my opinion. A larger wedding opens up the whole venue but what we were shown was extremely small, and had curtains separating from the other half of the room. What happens if there’s another party with music? We did not book with PI, although their prices were phenomenally low. If we had less than 40 people, we might consider the small room, and over 100 we would consider the big room, but we have 80. So it’s just not the right location for us. The person who gave us the tour said there would be new carpet out in and some improvements but until then, I’d say not for a wedding.

I am very disappointed with the level of service my now husband and I received from Pi Banquet Staff. Our tasting was booked less than a month before our wedding at which time we were informed that beef would be an additional cost of $3-$5 per guest. This is something that should have been told to us well in advance of a month prior.
We were married on 12/13/14, a couple of weeks before Christmas. There were several Christmas decorations that interfered with our decor that the manager would not move. I was told that there was a bar mitzvah a few weeks prior to our event and they wouldn't even move the decorations for them so they're definitely not going to move them to accommodate our wedding. I was floored but I kept my composure and proceeded to work around the decorations.
The general manager would only permit setup two hours prior to the event start time. The florist, photo booth company and cake deliver had a hard time getting access into the hall. A wedding for 150 people needs more time than two hours for setup. Because of this, my florist was rushed in setting up.
Last but not least, dinner was 45 minutes late and the champagne toast did not go as planned as the staff had a hard time getting everything setup.

We booked PI Banquet Hall on January 6,2018, for my daughters wedding an reception. The ceremony was to be at 5pm. The staff was not prepared so our guest were forced to stand in an unheated lobby and wait to be seated, it was 6 degrees that evening. When my daughter and her MOH arrived the mirrors in the hall were filthy, they had to ask the staff to clean things up. The the coat check lady was told to arrive at 6pm one hour after the wedding started. She was very pleasant, and offered to pick up in the restroom, no one was in attendents to empty trash, replace toilet tissue,etc. Only one faucet worked in the ladies room and it only had cold water. As for the actual dinner course one was pasta with a red sauce it tasted like Chef Boy R Dee, obviously canned. They ran out of pasta and served white rice with red sauce, not what we paid for. Main course was roast beef, baked chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans with garlic, sounds good, right? What we got was a tiny piece of meat and a chicken wing, potatoes, and frozen cauliflower there was still ice on the vegetables Not what we paid for. They ran out of bottled beer but did go get some more, so why didn't they get pasta? When my other daughter inquired about the pasta mix up, the manager cursed at her and said it wasn't her job to do the shopping. We were looking for a friendly venue, not just plain rude. The cake was not served it was put on a table in the back, self serve. Not what we paid for. The late night pizza was some cheap frozen thing it was put under a heat light.It was raw. I asked them to cook it more they just carried into the kitchen and brought it right back out.It was gross!! The parking lot was so icy it was dangerous. The chef did apologize to my other daughter for Jills behavior and blamed all the problems on new management. The management is not new theyve just been rotating people in and out. Dont waste your time or money here if I could give negative stars I would.

I booked my bridal shower back in mid 2016 with Donna for this April 2017. She was great to work with. Unfortunately, she is no longer there and the supprt from new management is terrible. Needless to say, I cancelled my shower within the contractual timeframe and Pi Management promised to mail my refund out immediately. Well its been over 4 weeks now. Sadly, this is one of the main reasons why i cancelled my event at Pi and it was because the lack of consistency and professionalism. No I would never recommend this venue.
Go to Burton Manor or Laurel Manor instead.
