with 5 separate events. I had seen her work before I was even engaged, and as soon as we began the wedding planning process, she was the first and only photographer I reached out to- I knew we had to have her!
Caroline captures detail and genuine, candid moments so effortlessly. Her editing style is true to life and reality, which was so important to us. We had the most colorful and vibrant wedding weekend, and her photos reflect it incredibly well. They are timeless, fun, and very "us".
My husband and I don't consider ourselves the most photogenic people, nor do we feel particularly comfortable behind the camera, but that all melted away with Caroline there as our photographer. Nothing felt too forced or posed, and we were just able to live in the moment with her on the sidelines capturing all of the purest, candid moments.
Not only is Caroline and her team extremely professional and seasoned, but they are also relaxed, calm, cool, funny, and along for the ride of a wedding weekend. Their energy along the way was so natural and it absolutely translated into our experience and most importantly our photos- which we will cherish forever!

The Perfect Photographer!
I was immediately drawn to the colorful galleries I saw when I started searching for wedding photographers and found Caroline’s work online. She then was also recommended by our wedding planner who had nothing but positive things to share, so the decision to work with Caroline came easily to us. Caroline turned out to be a bright and warm personality that made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. It is obvious that she genuinely loves what she does.
Our final gallery turned out to be a stunning blend of colorful, lively pictures and emotional black-and-whites, with gorgeous family portraits and fun action shots of the festivities. She has a rare gift of capturing raw emotions effortlessly - to a point where video is not even a necessary addition to preserve the memories of the day. She truly captured the essence of Jake and my wedding weekend and I am so grateful to have these photographs to look back on for a lifetime.

All around best choice we made!
We chose Caroline because of the color and energy she seamlessly captures in all of her photos. We wanted to feel the energy and emotion in the room through our photos and she did exactly that. Carolines presence is warm and reassuring. I always felt like she was in tune with us and knew exactly which moments to be present for. We got married during a fluke north east hurricane, many other venues on cape cod cancelled their weddings that weekend and we felt not one hindrance from Caroline. If planes were coming to Boston, we knew she would be there. We couldn’t have been happier with our decision to have her a part of our team. We were able to see some of our finished photos before our honeymoon was even over and at the end, Caroline created the most beautiful photo album chronologically documenting our big day. Our family is having her back to photograph my husband’s sister’s wedding because we were so impressed with her and her work!

Caroline Snapped our Memories & Our Hearts
If I could describe our experience simply, I would say that we are more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. From the moment we met Caroline to the last photo she snapped, we felt right at home in front of the lens. Her skill and commitment to getting the perfect shot was clear when we received our pictures (which came with dog treats for our pup and a beautiful box). The photos were clean and composed, yet full of raw emotion – exactly what we hoped for in capturing the moments and memories we never want to forget. I cannot say enough nice things about Caroline. Not only does she have an amazing vision and the ability to take spectacular photos, she also makes her clients feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. She really knows how to bring out the best in her clients which translate into very meaningful photographs. Best wedding photographer ever
I never loved how I looked in photos, so picking a wedding photographer was an especially daunting task. While exploring her work, I immediately gravitated to Caroline, because she took incredible candid shots. I thought, fantastic, here is someone who could photograph me when I'm not paying attention and then I won't have the opportunity to feel awkward. From the moment we met Caroline I realized we found a photographer who saw us in the way we wanted to be seen and directed us in a way that felt incredibly natural. For our engagement session she met us at the beach where we vacationed with the family, and even took some beautiful family photos. with her incredible personality she made not only us feel at ease, but our entire family. On our wedding day, I turned to her as a source of calm and support, and she made me feel beautiful. She is exceptionally talented and captured everything from our loving family to the smallest details; she noticed and highlighted it all. The most amazing photographer
Caroline is in a league of her own! I searched high and low for a photographer and once I saw Carolines work, I knew that she was the perfect photographer for our wedding. What I didn't know when I booked her is how incredible of a person she is! She was hands down my favorite vendor that we worked with. She has a calming presence that made us feel at ease. She is kind, caring, professional, responsive, sweet, and amazingly talented.
Our was originally planned for May 30 2020 and had to be postponed due to Covid. She worked with us as we chose a new date and was so understanding and flexible throughout the entire process.
When I saw the pictures from our wedding I actually cried because they were so meaningful and perfect. I still have no idea how she could be everywhere at once but she captured every emotion, all of the fun, and of course all of the marquee moments throughout the entire day - and every single photo is frame worthy. Scratch that - magazine worthy!
We will cherish the memories from our wedding for our entire lives. I am so thankful to have met Caroline and I'm so thankful for her talent! I would hire her 1000x over.

The best!
I spent quite a while searching for a wedding photographer and ultimately settled on Caroline! I searched in various cities around Texas and her photos immediately stood out to me. She was incredibly responsive from the get-go, and more than willing to shuffle a few things around in her packages to help meet my budget. She helped put us at ease during engagement photos and graciously met us in Austin on a Sunday morning to take them. Due to the COVID issues this year, we had to make a TON of last minute changes to our wedding and she was so encouraging, flexible and supportive throughout all of the adjustments we had to make. She was an absolute dream on the wedding day, and helped to make sure things went smoothly. The photos that we have from our day are truly so incredible - I had such a hard time deciding which ones to frame because I love them all!! Caroline has such a fabulous personality and is an incredibly skilled photographer. My wedding would not have been the same without Caroline!
Looking back at my wedding day, the best decision I made was picking Caroline as my photographer. I had seen her talent through a high school friend, and I knew I had to have her for my wedding! Here are a few reasons why she's amazing: 1. She was SO on top of things & super organized. She was my only vendor that I did not have to contact first for details, and being a type A person in aspects of wedding planning, that says a lot! 2. The day of the wedding was the first time we met in person, and I felt like I had known her my whole entire life. She was so easy going, kind, and warm. 3. Every wedding day comes with a little bit of anxiety to make sure everything is going according to schedule, and whenever I had a bit of anxiety come across me, Caroline was there to save the day. I would just look at her and she would know exactly how to fix any situation and what the next step was! 4. My friends & family RAVED not only about the pictures (which were beyond my expectations), but about her! They loved being around her and loved the way she directed the crowd. She was calm, assertive, and personable. 5. She was beyond thoughtful with timing on sending the pictures as my husband and I had to do long distance right after the wedding. Her sneak pictures were what got me through the long distance struggles. Not only that, but she had the full album ready the week she knew I was going to see my husband again for the first time in 1 month! That made our week together even more exciting and special thanks to Caroline. 6. Any picture I post people are AMAZED by it! I have had people personally messaging me to tell me how gorgeous they are. 7. Wedding photos are what help you relive the memories forever, and without Caroline, all the candids/portraits would not have been captured as stunning as they were. Before I got engaged, I saw a few of Caroline's photos on Pinterest and knew I wanted to reach out to her once my boyfriend and I got engaged. Just a few months later when we got engaged, I knew selecting the right photographer was going to be one of our first and biggest decisions as they're such an important part of the wedding day. We loved how Caroline's photos really captured the emotion of the day. We LOVED meeting Caroline via Facetime then in-person at our engagement photo session. After our initial Facetime consultation, I felt like we were old friends and knew she was the person I wanted documenting our wedding. We could not be happier we selected Caroline to photograph our special day. Caroline was an absolute delight to work with at each interaction.
We have nothing, but the best things to say about her. She is so sweet, calming, diligent, and extremely talented. Best Wedding Day Investment Ever
It was very important to my now husband and I to find the right photographer to capture our wedding day celebration that we had planned and preparation so much for - after all, these will be the pictures that tell the story of us on that day and the start of our marriage. We looked at many talented photographers, but when we saw the photos on Caroline's website, we were immediately impressed with just another level of excellence and quality with every photo. She was amazingly personable and professional to work with, communicated openly and often, had suggestions for locations for our engagement and my bridal photos, coached me on some poses that were most flattering for my figure and dress, and I can go on and on - she is amazing. We got our pictures back and just could not get over how well she captured real moments of emotion and laughter while making us look natural and comfortable. From the moment we spoke, I knew that she was a fit for myself, my husband and my family. Our day was extra hectic, with 12 grandchildren involved, and she threw herself right into the chaos. She managed to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera- capturing the raw moments that bring me right back to our wedding night. She listened to our ideas and vision for the photos from that weekend and made them come to life. My family and friends all LOVED Caroline for her sweet nature and and ease to work with. She was extremely responsive throughout the planning and post wedding process. Booking Caroline was absolutely the #1 best decision we made for our wedding day. I followed Caroline (and a number of other photographers) on Instagram even before I was engaged because knew photography would be my top priority when it came to wedding planning. As soon as we had our initial FaceTime conversation with her, I was completely won over at how comfortable she made us feel and how much she genuinely cared about all of the little details around our story and our day. Asking to see full galleries completely sold us. We moved our wedding date up by about 10 months (baby on the way!) with about 7 weeks notice and she was incredibly flexible and quick to make all of that happen - I didn't feel like we sacrificed one thing due to our quick planning timeline with her. My mom told Caroline on our wedding day "you saved their wedding day!" because that is how much it meant to me that she be the one to photograph it. I completely trusted her every input/suggestions from what dress to wear to our engagement pictures, how to structure our timeline and which "details" to have on hand to photograph and I'm so glad that I did - we absolutely love every single photo. I had several bridesmaids and groomsmen comment about how painless she made bridal party portraits (which were taken outdoors in 30 degree weather!), multiple family members commented about how she just knew to take certain group shots and I already had a friend book her for her own wedding. Our photos feel incredibly timeless and emotional - they are truly my most treasured possession. We wanted photographs that, even if you weren't there, would evoke the emotion of the moment and Caroline absolutely nailed it.
In the months leading up to the wedding, Caroline became more than a photographer, she became our friend! Our correspondence with Caroline was always prompt, helpful, and calming as we buttoned up the final details. Caroline's organization shined through her communication and we knew we were in good hands before we ever even met. Though I told Caroline at our rehearsal dinner I felt like I was meeting an old friend because that's just how she treats her clients!
Throughout the rehearsal and wedding day Caroline was incredibly professional and helpful above and beyond just our photographer. She kept us all in line, on schedule, and helped us navigate the usual bumps along the way. Rain? No problem, she had a plan (and made our day look just as beautiful!). Unexpected nose bleed right after our first look? She told me to lean forward, got me to the bathroom without a drop on my gown, and went to find "the calmest bridesmaid" (one of my bridesmaids' favorite quotes from the day!). Two surprise flash mobs at the reception? Caroline was a ninja snapping shots all around the room to capture the surprise, joy, and fun of each moment.
We received some sneaks peaks right after the wedding (which were incredible) and then our final photos before the estimated time. They are, without a doubt, some of the most beautiful images we've ever seen. We, along with our friends and family, will cherish them forever.

Phenomenal photographer!

If you're looking for a wedding photographer, look no further than Caroline! Out of all the vendors we spent time researching, we knew the photographer was the most important one for us. We would consider ourselves pretty picky when it comes to picture quality, and after seeing Caroline’s photos and speaking with her, it quickly became obvious that we had to hire her for our wedding.
Caroline was sweet, decisive, professional, and a joy to be around the entire day. She made us feel comfortable and worked with us to get every picture we wanted and more.
On our August wedding day, one of our grandparents missed family portraits after the ceremony because of the heat. Caroline had the presence of mind to quickly pull our family aside during the reception to make sure we had a formal picture with our grandparent. This little action meant so much to us, especially when looking back at our beautiful portraits with our immediate family members. We could not be more thankful that she remembered to do this!
In our situation, Caroline had never shot at our wedding venue before. This was something we had thought about before hiring her, but we can not stress enough how Caroline can handle it all! It was like she had already been there and knew all the ins and outs. Caroline found beautiful and unique backdrops for our photos for both our rehearsal and wedding day. She was so knowledgeable on lighting and it really shows in our pictures!
Communicating with Caroline before, during, and after our wedding was also super easy! We were planning our wedding from another state, yet still felt like we were able to easily keep in touch with Caroline and reach out to her for any questions we had. By the time our wedding weekend came, it felt like we had already met Caroline before, and we were all on the same page!
My husband and I had such fun reliving our special day through our photos, and we are so thankful for Caroline’s talent, patience, and professionalism. I cannot recommend Caroline enough! She was instrumental in the successful execution of our wedding and in capturing the beautiful memories that have kept it living in our hearts. Caroline is such a kind, wonderful, and talented woman it may be hard to put into words how impressed we are with her and her work. She really takes the time to get to know her clients from the beginning and is really easy to communicate with, which I think is really important to tell if you have a connection before agreeing to work together. Because of that we were very comfortable being ourselves with someone pointing a camera at us. My husband and I had never had professional photos done before our engagement session so I was worried we wouldn’t know what to do. But Caroline was able to guide us and make reasonable suggestions for posing as well as capturing us naturally. When it came to the wedding she came early to look around the venue and was able to get photos of our invitation suite, rings, etc before getting ready. She also helped to keep track of time and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. She shows no end of patience with family, friends, and even our dogs that we brought to the wedding for pictures. Caroline offered so many beautiful, complete, edited photos in a short amount of time I still think I notice new things after looking through them all countless times. We are so excited to get our wedding album, which will be pretty big because it was impossible to narrow down to only a few photos with so many gorgeous ones from which to choose!
In short, Caroline is a dream to work with. She is beautiful both inside and out and that shines through her art. She provides a wonderful mix of classic portraits and artistic views with fun candids. Besides all of the hard work she does before and after the wedding she is warm, friendly, and will go above and beyond on your most important day.

Caroline photographed my wedding in September 2017 and I could not recommend her more! Her photographs are incredible. After receiving our online portfolio only a few weeks after our wedding, I tried to narrow down my favorites and ended up with over a thousand photos that I adored. I originally selected her because of her great candid photos to commemorate the fun of the day, and she didn't disappoint - plus, the staged portraits were amazing too! We are truly so, so thrilled with every photo (including our engagement photos from a few months before) and couldn't have asked for a better photographer.
On top of her photography talent, Caroline is an amazing person and was such a calming presence on our wedding day. She was smiling and positive all day (even when trying to wrangle my 30+ person extended family, who despite instruction to stay put after the ceremony all disappeared as soon as we were ready for a photo), helping to keep me calm and relaxed throughout the day. She was unobtrusive but managed to photograph every special moment. Caroline was without a doubt one of the the best decisions we made for our wedding! From our first skype consult, I knew she would be so easy and fun to work with. I always struggled with the words to describe what I wanted my wedding pictures to look like, but I knew looking at Caroline's portfolio that her photos were exactly what I had spent countless hours searching for.
First and foremost, she is so kind and easy to work with and the beauty of her work speaks for itself. Beyond that, she runs an amazing business and is so professional, clear, and thorough in all of her communication.
My husband and I had never had professional pictures taken before our engagement session with Caroline. She put us at ease and made the whole process fun. We left our engagement session even more excited that she was our photographer. We had a blended Hindu/Christian wedding with a Friday party and two ceremonies on Saturday. Caroline was amazing throughout the entire weekend. She put us, our family, friends, and bridal party at ease and never made us feel rushed or overwhelmed. Booking Caroline Lima to photograph our wedding was one of the best choices we made when we were planning. I found her online portfolio and fell head-over-heels in love with her gorgeous style and skill. She happily worked with us to design a package that fit our needs and wants, and was promptly responsive with communication. She put us right at ease during our engagement shoot despite our lack of natural talent in front of the camera, and our photos came out BEAUTIFULLY - I look at them all the time. Her style is unforced, natural, and the emotions of the day are allowed to take center stage. She is also an unparalleled professional - she was early to our wedding, handled rowdy groomsmen, and worked with late vendors with a graceful attitude that somehow kept us on time and everybody smiling. She is unobtrusive and allows you to enjoy your wedding with your new spouse, family, and friends, quietly capturing fantastic moments that will have you laughing and crying when you see them again. As far as punctuality with returning photos, she sent our engagement photos to us within 2 weeks, and our wedding photos well within 3 weeks. First of all, I cannot put into words how much we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our wedding photos from Caroline. When showing our photos to friends and co-workers, everyone continually comments about how lucky we were to have such a talented photographer capture our big day-- and of course my husband Parker and I agree. While recapping the wedding together in the weeks following our big day, Parker and I repeatedly commented to one another how finding Caroline was one of the best things that happened to us in our wedding planning. She not only made us both feel immediately at ease during an undeniably emotional weekend, but her photos also brought to life our rehearsal dinner, our wedding ceremony, and the special moments along the way in celebrating it all with our closest family and friends, which is of course is what it is all about. Caroline put incredible time, care, and creativity into capturing our wedding....including trekking through the woods to duck blinds in the marsh in our wedding attire, and helping manage and coordinate photos with 4 flower children under the age of 5, a 24-person bridal party, 1 golden retriever of honor, and more! I cannot say enough good things about Caroline Lima!! I think she must be the best wedding photographer in the United States, if not the world! We were not able to meet her before our engagement session because she was in Virginia and we were in North Carolina. But we had a Skype interview with her, and I just had a feeling she was a good fit -- and I was right! I liked her lowkey energy right away (it's good to have someone lowkey on such a busy wedding weekend -- she practically blended into the background!)
She photographed our engagement session and our wedding and was professional, courteous, fun to be around, and had a wonderful energy and presence that put everyone at ease, as well as an artistic eye.
Plus, she gets the job done! After our ceremony, the sun was fading quickly and she had to please a lot of people and make sure all of the family photographs were taken. It was like herding cats! But she did it with ease and efficiency. I was really dreading the after-ceremony-photography (I just wanted to get the cocktail hour started! And I don't particularly love posing for pictures) but it was so painless and over so quickly and everyone got the photos they wanted, including the whole family! And I ended up loving that part of the process and look back at it as a fun and special part of the evening!
And her photographs are AMAZING. She captured us as a couple perfectly during our engagement session. She's a tremendous reader of people-- she seems to know them immediately and is able to capture their personality with her camera. Everyone who has seen her photos has been blown away at how perfectly she captured our relationship and our individual personalities. We have had our engagement pictures made into thank you notes as well as our wedding guest book. Everyone who sees them notices how we almost jump off the page with life. I will treasure her photos forever.

I cannot imagine our wedding experience without Caroline. We were not going to take engagement pictures and then last minute decided to per the recommendation of some friends. And were we glad we did! We felt so comfortable with Caroline the moment we met her. The engagement photos were stunning and got us really excited to work with her and for the big day. Caroline has an amazing way of directing without being bossy and getting it done without seeming rushed. Multiple people commented throughout the wedding they forgot she was there - she blended right in and had a quiet presence. Our sneak peak was available within days of our wedding. Our album was ready within the month - all 1.5K pictures. When we looked through the pictures my husband said, "I feel like we just relived our wedding" which is exactly how you want to feel. How do I even begin to write a review for Caroline Lima? Words seem so inadequate. One of my biggest decisions for my wedding was picking out a photographer and I struggled!! I could not figure out who to go with (so many to choose from!). One day Caroline followed up with me by email and asked if I had selected a photographer yet. I let her know I was confused and my dilemma I was facing. She responded with the sweetest email back telling me what to look for when choosing a photographer. Caroline is the best of the best - and we knew it after our first call with her. I was drawn to her work because it is timeless and beautiful. She captures the details, the emotions and moments at just the perfect time. She is so professional and extremely talented, she has that extra 'something' that separates her from other wedding photographers. I cannot adequately put into words how amazing Caroline is! Every time we look at our pictures, my husband and I say how thankful we are that Caroline was our photographer. She goes above and beyond to not only capture the best images of your special day, but to also make you and your bridal party, family, and guests feel so comfortable and at ease. I couldn't imagine working with a kinder, more caring person. Furthermore, her talent is unparalleled. We stumbled upon Caroline when we reached out to some other photographers in our area that happened to already be booked on our day. On their expert recommendations, we went with Caroline. It is the absolute BEST decision we could have ever made; it was meant to be! Caroline captures people and images in a way I've never seen before and you can so easily feel the emotion of the moment when looking at her pictures. Choosing a photographer is a really important decision for your wedding day and one we did not take lightly. Caroline is the best of the best and you will thank yourself a thousand times over if you hire her as your photographer. Just look through her portfolio and meet or talk to her and you will understand how wonderful and talented she really is. Caroline is such a Talented, Beautiful, Amazing photographer! As soon as I found her online I fell in love with her work. Her beautiful blogs touched my heart and the quality of her photos was exactly what I wanted. I was so happy that she was willing to travel since she’s not from our area. She was calm and efficient throughout the whole day. All my guests said how professional, fast and sweet she was! She kept track of time perfectly, and when I was running super late for my pictures before the ceremony she came up with a solution on the spot and everything worked out wonderfully! She listened to me intently and her calm professional demeanor helped me relax throughout the day. Caroline guided me thru each pose which was so helpful because I have never before taken professional photos. I loved how she captured all my guests dancing and sweet, intimate moments that I missed! She also did an awesome job with family portraits! It probably took only 15 minutes so everyone got to go to cocktail hour and enjoy themselves!
The way Caroline captured all the details and moments of the whole day was simply incredible! I am so thankful and forever grateful for all my wedding photos.
Inevitably something always goes wrong on your wedding day, but if you choose Caroline Lima as your photographer, I guarantee that this will not be one of them!

First things first, Caroline is AMAZING. Her attention to detail and calming personality could not have been more appreciated on the big day. She is fun to be around and has an amazing sense of what "works" for pictures. The photographs were AMAZING, from engagement pictures, bridal portraits, to wedding "sneak peeks" and pictures. As sister, of the bride, we could not have been more pleased. We look forward to using her for our future needs in photography. She is the best, no doubt about it.

This review is coming over a month after our wedding because I've been brainstorming for WEEKS about how to articulate everything I want to say about Caroline. I had big dreams of outdoor photos with lush greenery and sunshine galore. Those dreams were somewhat shattered when hurricane matthew came swirling around on our wedding day and I was so sad that our wedding photos wouldn't be how I envisioned them. That is until Caroline came so calmly and gracefully floating into our wedding venue with her poncho, ready to take gorgeous photos that captured every little moment we hoped would be captured. She had not one moment of doubt that our pictures would be beautiful and honestly, after seeing the photos, it doesn't even look like it was raining. Caroline has this unbelievable way of capturing the "essence", of people, of parties, of receptions, of everything. She caught every moment that I didn't get to witness firsthand and transported me back, making me feel like I was there myself. She is BEYOND talented and on top of that, so compassionate, understanding, kind and like a magical fairy godmother. I don't know how she does what she does and I am endlessly grateful that she was the one with us on our wedding day (and the one who will hopefully be with us when we eventually take maternity/baby/any important occasion photos in the future)!

Caroline is incredible!!! Not only were my pictures an absolute dream but her presence throughout the entire day was so sweet, calm, and comforting. She was very quick to do a blog post (you know its so hard to wait for pictures!) and I got my entire gallery back in just about 3 weeks. I HIGHLY recommend her and will be using her to document every special occasion for our little family throughout the years to come :)

Caroline covering our wedding is one of the best decision we took! We loved her work as we just started researching weddings online. We had a skype call, and knew she was 'the one'!
She went the extra mile more than once and helped us a lot, as we were planning the wedding remotely. I trusted her judgement & recommendations & thanks to her, we managed to gather the dream team of vendors! She is also incredibly organised, which helped greatly throughout the planning process.
The day of, she arrived and lost no time! She started looking around & moved things to have a flawless background, where the light was at its best. She suggested a few things but it didn't feel uncomfortable, it still very much felt like us.
She was so efficient & really made us feel comfortable.
Before the ceremony, a storm came up. Not only our outdoors wedding had to be moved inside, we had no power for the whole time. No A/C, no light, only candles & a generator for the music and the dance floor lights. Caroline had very kind words, she was so reinsuring. She worked non-stop all evening, in these most unusual conditions.
Very quickly after the wedding, she sent us a 'sneak peak', which is just perfect when you just got married & still feel all the emotions from the day, and while waiting for the full photo gallery. But the full gallery didn't take long to reach us!!
All the photos are incredibly beautiful. We relived our day through all the images. Everything was there: the details, the emotions, the fun. We just love them.
Caroline has the eye for what will be the best place, the best light and she will take all the elements into consideration to make you look at your very best. Her eye and professionalism made the most fantastic images. Thanks to her work, we will cherish and share these memories forever.
Caroline is such a kind & talented person. We feel so privileged that she spend one of the most important days of our life with us. We are so thankful for all you did for us!!

Investing in an excellent photographer was something that was so important to us since your wedding photography is what lasts. So we wanted a photographer who could capture the emotion of the day and also be easy to work with and Caroline fit both of these so well.
Caroline is a true artist and so gifted at what she does!
My husband and I absolutely LOVE our pictures!!!! (Caroline did our engagement and wedding photos, and my bridal session too).
She beautifully captured all of the emotion of the day and the details that we want to remember. We are so thankful for all of her hard work on our behalf! We couldn’t be happier with how our pictures turned out! Also, we got all of our edited wedding pictures back really quickly (about 3 weeks after our wedding!!!)
Caroline is extremely organized and professional yet she is also warm and treats everyone with such kindness.

There aren't enough stars and positive comments to describe my experience with Caroline. Not only is she unbelievably talented, she is kind, caring, incredible to work with and extremely professional in every sense of the word. Finding a great partner for photography was (aside from the groom! :)) my #1 priority for our wedding and my husband and I could not be more happy with our experience with Caroline, from start to BEAUTIFUL finish. I met with many photography vendors and I am so thankful to have crossed paths with and been able to work with Caroline. Our photos are a true treasure and capture every feeling and emotion from that day. There isn't a single one that I wouldn't frame! We talked a great deal before the wedding but had never met in person until the weekend of, and yet it felt like I had known her a hundred years. We still keep in touch - I feel like I have found a life-long friend! If you are on the fence, DO IT. I work in event planning and PR and have had the chance to work with a ton of photographers, Caroline is bar-none the best and most talented I've worked with. Caroline is an absolute dream to work with. I can't rave about her and her work enough! From our first meeting (via Skype) to our last (my wedding day) you could tell that Caroline genuinely wanted to give you your greatest and happiest memories through her photographs. Caroline will take time to try and get to know you and your significant other before your wedding and on your wedding day and will then transform your photos into your love story. My husband and I are not really into the "mushy romance" stuff and thought the pre-wedding questionnaire was a little cheesy. But Caroline actually took our responses (and our feedback above) and really used that to plan our photo timeline for the evening. Our wedding party was THRILLED with how efficient Caroline and her assistant were before and after the ceremony. She wasted very little time on the group shots - but captured anything and everything we would have wanted to see. We had several people comment about how much they enjoyed meeting Caroline and how she fit right into our wedding crowd. I feel like I rarely saw her during the reception - but she was right there with me the whole time and literally captured every single moment. I've been gushing over the photos for the past 24 hours, reliving the whole day. Caroline did something extra special for Alex and I when she posted a sneak peak of our photos on her blog by incorporating the emotional roller coaster of not only our love story, but also the heart break we've experienced in the last year with the passing of my father after a 15 month stint with stage IV lung cancer. Caroline is as talented and wonderful in real life as she will seem on the phone when you speak with her for the first time. She's also fast - it was so nice to get our photo's back so quickly. She works hard to deliver when you're still on cloud 9 from your big day! You will get beautiful photos, memories and a wonderful friend when you work with Caroline. I will recommend her to everyone!!

Caroline was absolutely amazing to work with and we wish that we could rate her even higher! She is genuine, warm, and extremely talented. We are always getting compliments on our wedding and engagement photos and we can not stop looking at them and remembering that special time in our lives. She made us feel comfortable even though we are not ones to jump in front of the camera. She worked through our nervousness and made each time exciting and memorable. Our wedding album is truly unbelievable and every time we show it to our guests, it takes us right back to that incredible day. We cannot express how thrilled we are that Caroline was our photographer! Leading up to the wedding, and on the day of, she was so friendly, thoughtful, and easy to work with. Caroline communicated with us to make sure that she had a list of "must photos" so that we would definitely have pictures with everyone that we wanted. She also made it clear to grab her at any time during the reception if there were any photos we wanted taken. Caroline took the time to get to know us and even met up with us one afternoon just to chat. We thoroughly have enjoyed getting to know Caroline and are a little sad that this is over and we won't be communicating with her as much. As mutual dog lovers we hope to get together for a play date soon with our pups! Words cannot express how kind Caroline is, and they also can't express how talented she is. The day of our wedding was greeted with hurricane Joaquin, and it was the heaviest day of rain during two straight weeks of rain. Of course my husband and I chose to have an outdoor wedding with no back up plan. That being said, everything went off without a hitch and Caroline was a big part of that. Caroline told my sister (also a photographer and whose recommendation helped us find Caroline) that these were the most challenging circumstances that she has faced, but it didn't show in her demeanor that day and certainly does not show in the photos we have seen so far. Caroline made the effort to stop at several stores on her way into town to gather as many clear umbrellas as she could. Our photos are amazing! Some of them are amazing because of the clear umbrellas! We still did our first look outside and had so much fun with Caroline and her second shooter, Katherine Jones. Shoot, my word count is running out, and I have SO much more to say. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Caroline! Definitely book Caroline if you can!! Love, Jenn & Dean

Caroline is an absolute GEM! I don't think I can say enough good things about her. The photographs she took at our wedding will be one of my most treasured keepsakes.
When I found her online, I instantly fell in love with her photos. As someone in a creative field, who also dabbles in photography, I like to think I have a pretty discerning eye. Her photos are an ethereal dream. Her incredible talent is only supplemented by her incredible personality. When my husband and I first met Caroline via Skype, it felt like we all just clicked. Her easy going yet mindful nature made me very confident that she was the perfect person to capture our special day.
Once our Wedding Day finally came, I really appreciated her level of prep work and research. She even did her best to learn the names of my family members! When she and her assistant Jayme first arrived, my family, friends, and I were instantly very comfortable with their presence, even though they wasted no time setting up and making themselves busy. Caroline is warm and easygoing, while still being efficient, which in my opinion is a nearly impossible combination to pull off. She seamlessly moved between active coordinator (for formal portraits) to passive observer (for the ceremony and reception). On top of that, during the whole day, I felt that she was genuinely excited to be a part of our Wedding Day.
She delivered our photos quickly and in the cutest packaging. Not only do I feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in photographs, she managed to capture all of these little moments between us and the most important people in our lives. These moments are the things that make our wedding personal and special to us. Every time I look back at our wedding photographs I am filled with the incredible feelings of my wedding day and am truly grateful for all that I have in life.
Obviously I could go on for a while… Caroline vastly exceeded our expectations. I hope you enjoy working with her as much as we did!

Not only did she capture the all the beauty and emotion and fun in our day, she made everything related to the pictures and timing run smoothly and helped calm me down when I was having some typical bridal anxiety. Where do we begin in telling how wonderful Caroline is? We did not trust anyone else for our special day. She is fantastic at communicating, always quick to write or call back. She has very affordable packages and wonderful online resources. She works hard to get you your pictures as soon as she can. We were able to see our wedding photos online within just a few weeks!
She is very professional and full of great ideas! We had our engagements taken when passing through her area. After discussing the kind of feel we were going for, she found the perfect places for our pictures and we had so much fun!
She flew out for our wedding Colorado, even researching the area beforehand and when she got there to maximize our time on the day of the wedding. Leave it to the weather to change our plans! We had everything set up for an outdoor wedding and dinner. Less than thirty minutes before the ceremony a big storm blew in. This didn't phase her and she helped keep me calm!
Our wedding was small so we moved everything into the house we had rented for the occasion. She was instrumental in making the switch and had extremely helpful suggestions on how to set everything up inside to make the setting special! That's how wonderful she is! We are so very impressed with our ceremony pictures. Working in the small space of the house must have been very difficult. My husband and I can honestly say we didn't notice her. Did I mention we LOVE our photos of the day? I can't wait to have them hanging in our home!
Our family adores her and she made them all feel very comfortable. We wished for a very low key and loving family wedding. We got just what we wanted and the photos to perfectly capture the day!
I would without hesitation recommend Caroline to anyone! I hope we can have her do more family photos in the future! LOVE her beautiful work! Thank you so very much Caroline from the bottom of our hearts for being there and documenting our love!

Caroline is an incredibly patient, gifted photographer. I refer to her as "the best photographer ever" because she really is. She can see a shot in her head and make it happen so quickly and easily that you don't even realize it! She is always cheerful, and always willing to try anything you request of her. She suggested where my engagement pictures were taken, and when my wedding venue fell through, even suggested where I got married! She was kind enough to include our absolutely insane dogs in our engagement pictures, and was so incredibly patient with us trying to get them both to look at the camera. She always has a plan and is incredibly prepared. She gets you through the wedding day with ease because of how practiced she is, but doesn't make it seem like you're just another bride. You are the ONLY bride for her that day, and it makes it feel like your pictures of your big day mean the world to her. I will always cherish every image she has given me. The most you will struggle with is trying to pick a favorite image, because there is literally not a bad one in the hundreds that she returns to you!

Choosing to work with Caroline from Caroline Lima Photography was without a doubt the best decision my husband and I made as we planned and coordinated our wedding!! Caroline is a phenomenal photographer, and wonderful person! She made everyone who stepped in front of her camera feel at ease and comfortable. After our wedding, MANY of our guests told us that she was the most pleasant and likable wedding photographer they had ever met. Caroline photographed my husband and I for our engagement pictures as well as on our wedding day. Throughout the whole process, from signing a contract to the last photographs at our wedding, Caroline was easy to work with and always welcomed our input and ideas.
In addition to Caroline's fabulous personality, she is an extremely gifted photographer. Her photographs have a timeless feel to them, and are simply elegant. She incorporates natural light wonderfully, and doesn't use any over the top editing to make the images look good. She is truly a creative and gifted artist when it comes to photography! After our engagement session and wedding day Caroline got our pictures to us quickly and each one is as gorgeous as the next!
We couldn't be happier with the pictures and service we received from Caroline. She captured our day so beautifully, and worked extraordinarily hard to ensure that not a single detail was missed. Caroline was absolutely amazing, she is the sweetest person, and very professional. She worked with us in anything we need or wanted, and gave great advice to give us amazing pictures to remember our special day forever. There is not one negative thing I could say about her services, our pictures were flawless and better then I could ever imagine. She is a GREAT photographer!

There isn't enough words to say about the pleasant services Caroline provided for us. We highly recommend her. She photographed us for our engagement and wedding. She assisted us with integrating appropriate times for the photography portion of our wedding day schedule; moreover, she made marvelous recommendations for family, formal, and ceremony photos. She is quick to respond to any questions via e-mail, phone, mail or text. She provided us our photos in a timely manner, and ensured that we received them as well. Our wedding guests were extremely impressed with her services and how polite and social she was towards them. We did not receive a bad photo from her (we have over 750 photos) and we have received an overwhelming amount of loving compliments about our joyous photos. She captured our personalities and emotions with her lens and presented our big day to us to relive over and over again! She is amazing and I have recommended her to anyone who needs a photographer for any event! If she is available go ahead and book her you will not have to worry about your photos and as the wedding gets closer you worry about a lot more details than you anticipated (trust me on this!), but Carol assisted us with wonderful advice (she even recommended the DJ we hired who was awesome! Another plus) Once again if she is available do YOURSELF a favor and hire her for you event you will not regret it at all!!

Caroline Lima-Benusa is truly THE most talented photographer my husband and I have ever encountered. When I discovered her website, I was amazed at how she was able to capture the tone and feeling of her clients' events so effectively. I thought she would be out of my budget, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn her rates were reasonable and she was more than willing to travel all the way to Charleston, SC for our wedding. Today I have hundreds of breath-taking pictures to document our special day. I will cherish them forever and it's all thanks to Caroline.

I am a photographer and I am absolutely terrible to photograph. I am self conscious beyond belief. I rarely, rarely, found a photograph of myself that I liked. I'm totally awkward. I hardly ever feel pretty. And Caroline, OhMyGoodness!!!, Caroline is absolutely amazing!!!! For one, she is totally wonderful to be around and is so very comforting. She puts me at complete ease in front of the camera. She made my husband laugh and laugh even though he also is not so fond of being photographed. And with just a few clicks she made me feel amazing and beautiful and have the best time and I was just so happy with EVERY SINGLE IMAGE that we got back from her. The photographs she gave me mean absolutely everything to me. She is my forever photographer and the only one I trust completely.

Caroline is an absolute gem. I knew the moment I saw her pictures and spoke to her that she was the photographer I wanted for our special day. From our engagement session to the moment we received our wedding photos in the mail, she has always went above and beyond our expectations, putting her own special touches on the smallest of details creating a wonderful experience for me and my now husband throughout the entire process. I have already recommended her to friends and would to anyone seeking a genuinely talented person who makes each of her clients feel like her only one. Caroline was wonderful to work with for our wedding from start to finish! She kept in great contact with me before and after the wedding. On the actual day I was running extremely late for our photo session prior to our ceremony giving her little time and daylight to work with but she remained calm and professional about it. And most importantly she was still able to give us some amazing photos despite what she had to work with! Our actual ceremony was very casual and probably not what she was used to shooting. Though despite not knowing the layout or line of events prior to the real deal she still did an awesome job with our ceremony photos as well. There was a surprise, touching moment involving my 2 yr old daughter during our ceremony and I was thrilled to learn she had managed to capture it. I was very disappointed with how the makeup artist had done my makeup but I was so relieved to see that Caroline managed to make me look great anyway. Her style is classic and beautiful. She stayed very attuned to what WE wanted from our photos and I really appreciated that. She is warm, friendly and kind. And she does not act snooty about her talent and work like a lot of photographers I am seeing these days. I would highly recommend Caroline to anyone and we hope to use her again sometime!

Caroline is a phenomenal photographer. She will deliver a 100%, she is professional, creative and so easy to work with. The quality of the album as well is very high. I would use her again for family pictures in the future and I would suggest her to all my friends. She is an outstanding wedding photographer, very flexible and a nice person. She is able to catch the emotion with precise detail.

Carol is not only an amazing photographer but, a person as well. She really cares about her clients and the work she provides. I have seen thousands of photographs from weddings, and Carol's photos are the BEST! I could not be more pleased with our photos or with her. She is just a lovely person with an incredible talent. You never have to worry about her showing up on time, or her quality of work. Weddings are stressful and she does not add any stress to it. Do YOURSELF a favor and book Carol ASAP!

Caroline was by far the best photographer anyone could ask for. The quality of her photos is remarkable. Any time I bothered her with emails and questions she was professional and quickly responded to all my worries. She was super flexible with all our needs and her customer service was just above and beyond excellent. Caroline Lima is a professional, compassionate photographer and a true joy to work with. My wedding coordinator agrees with me. She wrote to me to tell me how fantastic it was to work with Caroline Lima. In the beginning can be scary for any bride choosing a photographer, luckily for me, my wonderful sister mentioned Caroline Lima and after I researched other photographers, I am thrilled I listened to my sister and booked Caroline! She listened to my requests and added her professional knowledge to the photographs and what I received were beautiful amazing photographs, my husband and I will cherish forever. I asked Caroline to take pictures of my bridesmaids and I getting ready. When she arrived she greeted all of us and greeted our dog Ella. Unfortunately I could not have dogs at the venue, luckily our dog was staying in our beach house with us. Caroline took the most adoring and lovable pictures of Ella watching my girls and I get ready for the big day. I also did not notice after the ceremony she took us to a corner of the venue and took pictures just my husband and I. I also did not know she put us in front of this gorgeous willow tree with the sun setting behind it. It was perfect. Caroline is a genuine and personable photographer. From her breathtaking photos to the personal touches of her packaged photographs and thank you letters, you will be glad you booked Caroline Lima Photography!! We have her booked this fall to take family photos for our parents!

Caroline is one of those people that you meet in life and she automatically feels like she's been your friend for years. On a more professional note, she is extremely professional, prompt, replies to emails immediately, totally open to suggestions, willing to travel, and extremely affordable (which is important when planning for a wedding).
My wedding was a mixed culture event (Brazilian-American) and the fact that she is Brazilian and speaks both English and Portuguese helped my guests receive direction easily.

AMAZING photographer! Caroline has all the talent in the world when it comes to photography. I interviewed several people to photograph my wedding but as soon as I met her, I knew she was the one. Not only is she super sweet, her love and art for photography is very apparent and her work is to die for. You can really see through your photographs that she is just as involved in your special day as you are. The images she captures will instantly take you back to that moment and put the biggest smile on your face. Hiring Caroline was the best decision of my wedding! Caroline has SUCH a unique gift, and her demeanor makes her an absolute dream to work with. When she sent me my first previews of my wedding photos, I actually teared up because I couldn't believe how much I loved them. When I got the full set of photos, I looked through them probably 100 times because I loved every one. Not only did she capture the bride and groom, but she even snapped dozens and dozens of photos of my wedding guests! I've sent these photos to my guests in their thank you cards, and they have loved the photos of themselves so much that they plan to use them for Christmas cards and to frame in their homes!
Looking back on my wedding, I knew the photos would be important to me, but I didn't quite understand just how much until after the wedding. I feel so lucky that I can look back at Caroline's photos and remember the day so fondly because she captured it so beautifully. She has even been so much fun to keep in touch with after the wedding, and I love that I can post her own photos for her to see!
I didn't even have to tell Caroline where I wanted photos, what specific moments I wanted captured, or what my good side even was - she just did everything EXACTLY right. She knew such small tricks like making sure she got a wide variety of photos to guarantee I would find ones I love - with and without a bouquet, smiling big and small, cropped and full-body, both sides of my face, black and white and color, artsy and funny. She got it all!!
