Caroline is sweet, genuine, professional, and easy to get along with. When looking for a photographer, I really wanted someone I connected with, since you spend so much time on the day of your wedding with the photographer. After our first meeting, my now husband and I knew we had to hire her! Caroline is beyond amazing and I love her style of shooting. She makes you feel like an old friend who also just so happens to be taking your picture and getting those precious in between shots. We did an at home engagement shoot where Caroline took her time to make sure we got everything we wanted. Then on the day of our wedding she was a welcome and calm presence amongst the chaos that is your big day. I couldn’t imagine having anyone else capture our day, so thank you again Caroline!! -

Absolutely Amazing
I don't even know where to begin with these 2! They are absolute rockstars and made us feel so comfortable from the start. They coached us through our engagement session and a mini shoot when we got a new puppy, making our wedding day feel like a breeze! They went above and beyond to make sure we were okay throughout our wedding day and our pictures are absolutely gorgeous, I can't stop looking at them every day! Thank you guys! -

Great Shots and On Your Side
Caroline and Evan are the perfect duo to take your wedding, or really any, photos. These two have a beautiful dynamic that is serious when needed but fun and free-flowing. They make you feel like family, breaking any tension, making moments fun (or funny), and are an extra voice there to help you advocate for yourself on your day. Where do I begin… I do not have enough positive words in my vocabulary to express how amazing Caroline & Evan are. They truly are a special team and we are so grateful we had them as our wedding photographers. Starting back at our first meeting with them we knew they were our photographers. They made my husband and I, who are not typically comfortable in front of a camera, feel so relaxed during both our engagement and wedding day shoots. They captured every moment perfectly and represented our personality as a couple magically. If you can, I highly recommend making sure to have them there for the entire day of your wedding. Some of our favorite moments are the candid photos caught on the dance floor. They really bring the whole event back to life and those are memories we will cherish forever. My husband has already declared that they will be our designated photographer for any future needs, they are that amazing.

As soon as we had our first interview with Caroline & Evan, we knew they were the photographers for us! They are not only insanely talented but they are lovely humans - the best of both worlds! We were beyond impressed by their professionalism all while making it fun for everyone - they were totally on top of their game, and we had a ton of compliments from family and friends about them, too. IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING hiring them, PLEASE just do it - you won't regret it. WE COULDN'T be happier with our photos - they captured every special moment, and we're absolutely in love, as were all of our family. BEYOND happy about our special day, and forever grateful for Caroline & Evan, all of their help, perfectionism and sense of humor! -

Sarah Sent on 07/06/2018It’s impossible to put into words just how amazing Carolina and Evan are! They are absolutely incredible!
I was told that finding the right photographer was a lot like finding your wedding dress, that you would know when you found the right one, and completely true! From the very beginning we were drawn to Caroline and Evan. The colorful backdrops in all their posts really caught my attention. When we finally met them, it was like sitting down with old friends. We talked about their process and looked through all their gorgeous albums, but also talked about traveling and marvel movies. It’s like we had known them for ages! They’re just so incredibly warm and open! We immediately knew that they would be capturing our wedding day. It wasn’t even a question!
My husband and I live in Denver and we were so thrilled when they came out for our engagement shoot! They were amazing at including our pup who loved being the center of attention!
They are so very thoughtful, becoming our go-to for advice and constantly checking in to see how we were doing.
On the big day, Caroline and Evan were everything! They were the schedule keepers, and really kept everything moving smoothly! They were so kind and patient and really calming! We received all of our pictures back last weekend and I cannot say enough how ecstatic we are with them!! Caroline and Evan captured every moment perfectly! Looking through our pictures is like reliving our wedding day all over again. Even better because there are so many moments we didn’t see! They are absolutely stunning!! As a couple they are so loving and full over energy and really make a fantastic team. They truly put a piece of themselves in every picture that they take and they all turned out better than we could have ever imagined.
I cannot recommend Caroline and Evan enough! I truly feel as though we’ve found our forever photographer and I can’t wait for our next big life event so that we can work with them again!! -

Clarissa Sent on 12/18/2017Writing this review is almost overwhelming because I don't know how to put into words just how incredible Caroline and Evan are. When you hear the phrase "above and beyond" - that IS Caroline & Evan Photography. Their photos are crisp and stunning, their work ethic is commitment like you've never seen, and their hilarious and loving personalities are more than we could've ever hoped for from our photographers.
We planned our Clearwater Beach wedding from our home in Colorado, and made a few trips back for important things like vendor interviews, tastings, etc. We planned an entire day for just meeting photographers. First up, was Caroline & Evan. We met them at Starbucks and I think we must've been there for two hours, just LAUGHING. Looking at photos, getting to know them as a couple, them wanting to get to know us - we knew we were going to go with them, and secretly just wanted to hang out with them longer and grab a beer! Our only hesitation at first was the cost, which looking back, I wouldn't have batted an eye at the cost had I known everything I was going to get from them. They are THE full package.
They even came out to Colorado for our engagement shoot and it was like hanging out with friends we'd known forever - the whole experience was just so much fun and made us even more excited about our wedding.
When our wedding finally arrived, Caroline & Evan MADE that day. The two of them are so coordinated, so organized, SO good with rallying up your crazy bridal party for photos, SO compassionate toward anxious family members, and SO much more than just photographers! They were tracking our timeline, making sure everyone was where they should be when they should be there, and just honestly running the show! It was such a relief to have them there managing everything so that we would have the most perfect day, and so they could grab the most perfect shots.
They are just the absolute best. I can't say enough good things about these two :)

Danielle Sent on 11/15/2017Caroline and Evan are fantastic photographers, and even more wonderful people. As the bride, I was with Caroline most of the time, and she has a very calming personality, and humor which I greatly appreciated. They kept the flow moving, and never skipped a beat even though we had not met them until the day of (destination wedding). They did their homework and knew what pictures we wanted, and sensitive topics (I had lost my father) so didn't say/do anything that would be uncomfortable. They're also protective of their clients. Our venue had another wedding 30 minutes after ours on the adjacent beach and they advised us NOT to go down to the dunes nearby for our pictures (away from the other ceremony). They did not want us being a distraction. Caroline and Evan knew we wanted pictures near the water, and walked out of the way to get to the beach instead but not disrupt the other wedding. Those pictures on the beach are some of our favorites. Despite our venue being a butthead on clearwater beach (outside is blue) everything was perfect. Please hire Caroline and Evan, they're amazing. <3 thank you !!

Carri Sent on 01/27/2014Every step of the way Caroline and Evan were so helpful and conscientious when it came to photographing the wedding. They were one of the first vendors I booked for our wedding and never second guessed that decision. From our initial consult to the complimentary engagement session to the wedding day and beyond, they were always there to answer questions and give guidance on how to put the whole thing together. It was so nice to know that they would capture everything and I would not have to micromanage all the shots that I wanted. The Studio Booth was a blast and produced some of the best candids of the night, I highly recommend it. They were also wonderful at catching the "good sides" of people who tend to not photograph well. Everyone looked beautiful.
To budget conscious brides out there, do not skimp on your photography! Your photos are how you will remember the day. True, they are not the cheapest out there but you really get what you pay for. It is obvious that this is a passion for them and it shows in the finished product, There is also no worry of waiting for 6 months to a year (or more) to get your album as they have an amazing turn around time (some of our retouched photos were on display during the reception!).
Caroline and Evan are the best photographers but they are even better people. You will not regret going with them.

Angela Sent on 05/02/2013Caroline and Evan were great! I'll admit that at first, I was shocked at how much wedding photography costs, but they are worth the money. They met with us for an initial consult, then did the free engagement shoot (awesome bonus!), then did the wedding. At each meeting, they were kind, professional and accommodating. As a stressed bride, I needed vendors that I could count on, and they took all the stress out of the photography element. I knew that we were in good hands, and they were responsive to all of our questions/concerns. It was also easy to get in contact with them, and their responses were prompt, which I appreciated. Their assistant Stephanie was great as well. Did I mention that the pictures came out BEAUTIFULLY?!!!! They even made my husband look great, and he hates the camera. They have a creative/artistic eye, and they will make you feel beautiful. Hire them and you won't be disappointed! -

Jennifer Sent on 01/07/2013I know it is always strange to see all top marks, but Caroline and Evan truly were great. As a destination wedding, they needed to be flexible and responsive and they were both. For value, all we can say is that they are worth every penny. We've had friends go with cheap photographers and all we hear from them are nightmares on how many shots they missed or how they came out blurry, etc. Just look at our pictures as proof of what they can capture. A few vendors on our wedding day came in below expectations but those details don't last. The memories are what last and these pictures will help us always remember our special day. Thank you Caroline and Evan for capturing the best day of my life. -

From the engagement shoot through the big day (and after) they were so helpful and made us feel so comfortable! They are so much fun to work with! We got married in early August and already have edited photographs back! They turned out beautifully! I would definitely recommend them and would recommend their Studio Booth option (it was a ton of fun)! -

Victoria Sent on 08/04/2010Caroline and Evan to begin with, are outstanding people! They are young, fun, and you are sure to become friends very quickly! I am a young bride, so they made me feel comfortable. They are incredibly humble, unlike many other supposed high end photographers who are so cocky that they will not look at you unless you have your bank account reviewed. They always made me feel at home, whether it was at their studio (which is lovely by the way) or at my husband and I's engagement session. We had such a blast, and my husband couldn't stop ranting at how much he loved the super high quality of the photos. They are also extremely responsive when you need them, and flexible. They will work with you to meet your budget, and your needs, and you can guarantee that you will not at all be dissappointed with CSE photography!

I am very glad I trusted my gut and went with them. Caroline & Evan are very personable and made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I upgraded to include a studio booth at my reception and I'm glad I did so. My guests loved it and some of the pictures came out really great. It also gave all of my guests a chance to be in front of the camera. =) -

Christina Sent on 08/02/2010Evan and Caroline are so in love with fun and with each other and I think that's what makes them such great photographers. My husband and I found them at a wedding show one weekend and we ended up winning a contest for best engagement photo idea. We won a free engagement photo shoot. When the photo shoot had some lighting issues, they offered to reschedule another time to do another shoot. We ended up getting great photos from both days.
Apart from great photos, we loved just being able to joke and chat with these two. It helped us relax and distracted us from any wedding stress we were having.
We also loved that they don't make you purchase a photo album for an insane amount of money. A lot of photographers make the album apart of the photography package which raises the prices. Caroline is more than happy to design one for her customers, but it's not mandatory. We found that very appealing! -

Nichole Sent on 06/08/2011I can say only good things about CSE! Caroline and Evan are very down to earth but professional at the same time. I am not one who really loves taking photos and was a bit nervous about our first "photo shoot" doing engagement pics, but my worries were soon gone once we got into it. The prices were great and you aren't forced into any additional album packages the way some photographers are. We opted for a 6 hour package the day of the wedding AND their studio booth (like a photo booth but a back drop instead of a booth). They were definitely at our venue early and got a few cute pics in before they were scheduled to be there which I think is awesome. Their work is great and again, in my opinion VERY affordable for the kind of photos and style you get.
I highly recommend!

Kathy Sent on 01/22/2011CSE Photography was WONDERFUL!!! We did two engagement sessions in locations we wanted. This was a little hard to coordinate but we had a lot going on, and they had a busy schedule too. The engagement pictures were posted quickly and they looked great! Lots of great compliments. They made us a wonderful guest book, and when the book cracked before the wedding date they were quick to replace it. They stand behind their products, which is a great thing. The weekend after the wedding they posted our wedding photo booth for our guest, and 15 days after our wedding our actual wedding photos were online. Great service! Great prices! Great husband and wife to work with! They make it fun! They even found out the location to go take pictures in between our cermony and wedding reception. Thanks Caroline and Evan!!! :)
