We got married last month, and DJ Todd was the absolute BEST at DJing and emceeing our wedding! Truly the best in the business, and I can say that because I vetted almost every DJ in the Carolinas. He knows what he’s doing. I cannot stress enough — every single detail and decision we labored over was executed so perfectly. We cannot believe how well it all came together, and it was really surreal to see everything come to life. Todd’s attention to detail, preparation, calm nature, communication/honesty/advice, warm presence, and kindness throughout the weeks of planning made us so thankful we booked with Carolina DJ Professionals. We especially appreciated his professionalism in our rushed wedding planning, his execution in presenting our taste in music perfectly/pivoting when I changed my mind about something, and his energy/ability to ensure announcements/music fit the moment. So many people have commented how much fun they had on the dance floor at our reception and how smoothly the day went, which we completely attribute to DJ Todd. This was especially important to me because I really wanted our guests to dance and enjoy themselves, and that is never a guarantee! DJs really set the mood for your day, and Todd ensured everything came together perfectly for our day. I never had to worry about a thing! I would recommend DJ Todd to anyone in the area in need of entertainment without hesitation and assure them that with Todd, you’re in great hands! -

Amazing DJ and Photobooth
Jeff with Carolina DJ Pros did an amazing job at our wedding. He was extremely communicative, cut down a few of our first dance songs for us, and kept the crowd dancing. We also had a photobooth with a guestbook that guests loved and we got all of the photos sent to us within a week of our wedding. We would definitely recommend Carolina DJ Pros!! DJ David Miller is the MAN. From the beginning, my wife and I felt really comfortable working with him. He sold us on Carolina DJ Pros and their offerings, and didn’t try to pressure us into any certain level of DJ. He was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process and made sure we got absolutely everything we wanted. At our wedding, he helped control the flow of everything from ceremony, cocktail hour, speeches and dances, to the party. We’ve been to a lot of weddings, and I’ve never experienced a DJ as good as him. He kept the vibes high and had everyone on the dance floor the entire night. We had compliments from all of our friends and family about how incredible he was. DJ David made our special day even more special, and we’re glad to call him a friend now. 10000% recommend! -

Clark was a fantastic DJ for our wedding. He worked with us before the wedding to set up a timeline for the reception and stuck to it. We were a very hands off couple in terms of playlist, and Clark’s playlist was perfect. In our meetings, he also gave us the option to create the whole playlist if we chose. He kept the crowd alive all night, and his song selection was exactly what everyone wanted. I would highly recommend Clark and Carolina DJ Professionals. -

During the planning process our DJ (Karenski) was very responsive and set up several planning calls with us as well as shared a detailed excel sheet for us to plan the timeline and songs. On the wedding day there were a few technical difficulties with the officiant's mic going in and out during the ceremony (I think due to wind and probably out of the DJ's control). Our reception was so much fun, all the songs played were a huge hit and Karenski transitioned from one song to the next seamlessly. Overall we found Carolina DJ Pros to be very professional and organized. -

Carolina DJ Pros was an amazing vendor! Todd was our DJ for our wedding on May 1st and he was a pleasure to work with! He gave us great guidance and was willing to be as “hands on” or “hands off” as we wanted. My now husband and I were concerned about a wedding of our size (90 people) having a dead dance floor but Todd made sure that was never an issue. He had everyone up on the dance floor all night, including my 85 year old grandmother. He was able to read the room and transition to songs that would keep the vibes high! Thank you Todd! -

Kyle Law is the man. From the very beginning, he completely understood the vibe we were going for and somehow exceeded every expectation we had. The energy all night was unreal, the transitions were so smooth, and the dance floor stayed packed from start to finish.
What really stood out to us though was that Carolina DJ Professionals felt like so much more than just a DJ company. They honestly acted like a pseudo wedding coordinator at times with the level of planning, guidance, and thought they put into helping us think through the flow and feel of the night beyond just music. They were incredibly organized, communicative, and genuinely invested in making the night successful.
We wanted a mix of EDM, Latin music, 2000s throwbacks, and just overall high-energy fun, and Kyle absolutely nailed it. We received so many compliments from guests about how good the music was and how well he read the room throughout the entire night.
Could not recommend Kyle and Carolina DJ Professionals more highly. -

David Miller was one of the best parts of our wedding. Through all of the stress of planning and plans changing on a weekly basis, David kept us cool, calm and collected throughout the entire process. He guided us through every decision and even some that didn’t include music to help us make our wedding day perfect. During our reception, he kept the vibe very high energy and took the playlist that we made and made it even better. He checked in on us consistently and made sure we were all good and treated us more like close friends than clients and that’s exactly the kind of relationship we wanted. He kept the positive energy going all night and made sure that each song he played fit the mood perfectly. If we could go back and do it all again we would absolutely go with David every single time! When people ask for our recommendation it will always be Carolina DJ’s very own David Miller! -

Jeff from Carolina DJ Pros was absolutely phenomenal and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.
From the very first call with the company, we could tell they truly had their act together, everything was organized, seamless, and extremely professional. When Jeff was assigned to us, that level of confidence only grew. From our first Zoom call, it was clear that Jeff genuinely cared about making our wedding unforgettable.
We knew going into this that the DJ is one of the most important parts of a wedding, not just for music, but for energy and flow, and Jeff exceeded every expectation. He wasn’t just a great DJ, he was an incredible emcee. Leading up to the wedding, he walked us through every detail, offered thoughtful ideas, and made the entire planning process feel easy and stress free.
On the wedding day, Jeff absolutely delivered. The ceremony ran flawlessly with perfectly timed music, crystal clear sound, and zero technical issues. Every guest could hear and fully experience the moment, which meant so much to us.
The reception setup looked polished and professional, and Jeff truly ran the show. He followed our coordinator seamlessly, executed every instruction perfectly, and kept everything flowing exactly as we envisioned. His presence was confident, engaging, and elevated the entire experience.
Most importantly, our guests were on the dance floor all night. There was never a lull, and the energy never dropped. Jeff read the room perfectly and kept the party going in a way that felt natural and fun.
We also had a few special memorial moments during our wedding, and Jeff handled those with such grace, care, and respect. It meant more to us than we can put into words.
We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Jeff. Anyone would be beyond lucky to have him as their DJ, especially for a wedding. He didn’t just play music, he created an experience we and our guests will never forget.

We had such a great experience with Masoy as our wedding DJ! From the very beginning, Masoy was professional, organized, and easy to communicate with. He really took the time to understand the vibe we wanted and helped us shape the perfect playlist for our big day.
On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly. The transitions between songs were seamless, the sound quality was excellent, and Masoy did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping everyone on the dance floor all night.
We also appreciated how he handled announcements. It really helped keep the flow of the evening on track!

If there was ever a person born to be a DJ, that person is Jarquell. He has the perfect energy, vibe, and professionalism to be an outstanding DJ. He has a great presence and several people after the wedding told us how awesome they thought he was. A few great things about him - for our wedding, he really gave us total freedom to choose our songs we wanted. We also trusted him to choose his own recommended music for cocktail hour / dinner and his playlists were great. We also really admired his openness to feedback. He was very open all the throughout the process and wanted to know our expectations of him, as well as feedback for how we thought everything went. We felt he had our back throughout the whole process and wedding, and having him as our DJ was an extra bonus to our special day. We haven't gotten our wedding pictures back yet, but he was so awesome to us, we made sure to get a picture with him! Would recommended him 100 times out of 100!! -

If you are usually the person on the aux and currently reading through 700 DJ reviews trying to find someone you can trust with your vision (me a year ago) you can relax now. You found your DJ - Hire David Miller with Carolina DJ Pros. Music is my husband’s and my love language. Our wedding was music themed (literally our tables were named after bands) and our friends know us for our playlists and karaoke parties. Handing over the aux and trusting that someone would deliver what we wanted and what people expected from us was truly one of the hardest parts of planning. David not only understood how important this was to us but went above & beyond and exceeded our expectations. From the start he was organized, responsive, and calm. He made us feel that no request was too much and no idea was too complicated. He kept us on track throughout the wedding planning process without ever making anything feel stressful and cared about getting every detail right, even when we threw things at him last minute (which was a common theme.) We would give David a little direction and he took care of the rest. of course the dance floor was packed all night and our guests are still raving about how amazing David was. But what stands out most to us is the kind of person he is. We joked David was our DJ and our therapist bc he spent so much time brainstorming with us, listening to what we wanted, and helping bring it all together He was thoughtful, patient, embraced our wild ideas and added his own creative touch to make them even better. By the end of the night it did not feel like we had hired a “vendor”. It felt like an incredibly talented friend who managed not just the music, lighting and CO2 cannons, but the overall environment for the best party of our lives. If music is important to you, BOOK DAVID AS YOUR DJ. If he is not available to DJ on your date, CHANGE YOUR WEDDING DATE (I’m not kidding.) -

We also used Carolina DJ Professionals for our photobooth, and I can’t recommend them enough for both DJ/MC services and photobooth needs. Nakia ran the photobooth and she was on fire! Todd was an AMAZING DJ for our wedding! My wife and I admittedly have very eclectic taste in music, and we had some DEEP pulls in our requests for Dance and Ceremony music. Todd tracked everything down and made my gothic synth-wave flow seamlessly into my wife's hip-hop dance tunes all while keeping the atmosphere fun and festive! He helped us with preparing music selections for all of the different aspects of our wedding and reception (there's more to it than you might think!) and arrived early and well prepared. The audio throughout our service was superb, and he even worked with our videographer team to capture direct mic feeds from speeches! Planning and executing a great wedding is never easy, but Todd and the team from Carolina DJ Pros made things as simple and smooth as possible! We cannot recommend them enough! -

Erick was our DJ & let me just say... he was THE BEST! He stayed in contact with us the entire wedding planning process & always responded same day if I had a question. He was extremely thorough while planning our playlist, making sure we had our "must plays" & our "do not plays." During our wedding day, Erick got there early, got everything set up & came to us to confirm all of our song choices. The communication from him was top tier! He even made an announcement for us that we wanted an unplugged ceremony. Timing on each song was perfect & he kept the dance floor full all night with his playlist. When the night slowed down & it was just our wedding party, we started a conga line & he joined in for one lap while the song played, then he was right back to business! It was fun having him join because it showed he was also having fun with the night! The final brag I have about our DJ was that he took some videos of us dancing & sent them all the next day. We didn't hire a videographer, so it's nice that now we have those videos and can look back on them.
I have bragged on this company to anyone that will listen because of how great they were. I received monthly "x days before I DO checklists" from the owner that included a list of things that I should've had done by that point. For example, the "90 days before I DO" checklist, included finalizing guest lists, organizing wedding transportation, etc. -- These checklists were a HUGE help to me because there were multiple things that I had not even thought about doing, that were on the checklists. It took so much stress of of us. We also did the photobooth & it was a HUGE HIT! There were so many different props & we even got a photobook full of the pictures at the end of the night. Pricing wise, we stayed well on budget & they surpassed every expectation we could have had. -

He was always accessible, proactively checking in via email and text to ensure all our requests were incorporated seamlessly. From our very first meeting, Clark understood the atmosphere we wanted to create, offering thoughtful guidance and feedback that ensured our timeline flowed perfectly. We had the absolute pleasure of working with David Miller from Carolina DJ Professionals for our October wedding, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. Something that doesn’t get talked about enough when choosing a wedding DJ is the process that happens long before the big day — and David truly exceeded every expectation.
Over the course of about 10 months, David communicated with us regularly, answering our questions, offering suggestions, and helping guide us through every musical and logistical decision. We met with him periodically in person, which was so helpful in building a real connection. He took the time to genuinely get to know us, our personalities, and our vision as a couple. Because of that, he understood exactly what we wanted for each part of our wedding day.
We asked for a pretty specific musical vibe — jazz house for cocktail hour, Rat Pack classics during dinner, and a mix of oldies, modern hits, and some reggaeton throughout the reception — and David absolutely nailed it. Guests were complimenting our music choices all night long, which truly validated that we made the right choice in DJ.
Beyond the music, David went above and beyond in ways we never expected. We didn’t have a wedding planner, and he essentially helped us build our entire timeline. This wasn’t something we hired him for, but his industry knowledge and willingness to guide us made a world of difference. He coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors behind the scenes, handled the officiant’s mic setup, and made sure everything ran smoothly without us having to think about it.
On the wedding day, David’s setup was quick and quiet, his professionalism was unmatched, and his energy was exactly what we needed. He communicated clearly on the microphone, invited guests onto the dance floor at the perfect moments, and always knew how to hype up the new couple without ever being over the top. He made the entire night feel effortless and so special.

My wife and I absolutely loved having David Miller as our wedding DJ! From start to finish, David’s vibe, guidance, and energy were everything we hoped for and more. During our planning process he checked in often and helped schedule video calls to ensure we were all on the same page. This helped us get to know him better which made it even more exciting to meet him on our wedding day! During our ceremony, we had a harpist and violinist playing, but David helped mic our officiant, set up a mic stand for a friend speaking during the ceremony and was on standby to make sure everything sounded perfect. We asked for a few updates to songs during our reception days leading up to the wedding and David wove them in flawlessly. These are just a few examples to help highlight how easy David was to work with.
His interaction with the crowd was amazing, and we loved seeing him take videos and really join in on the fun. We’ve only heard glowing feedback about the dance floor, and that’s all thanks to him. During the dancing we asked David to play a really specific song we knew our friends & family would get really hype to, he fully trusted us and it turned out to be a massive hit. We couldn’t stop smiling the entire night and wish we could relive it all over and over again.

David at Carolina DJ pros was AMAZING! He was so kind and professional through the entire process of wedding planning. For check ins he accommodated our crazy schedules & time zone differences, he was easily reachable, and always made us feel less stressed and more excited for our day. During the wedding we didn't have to worry about anything - from the ceremony, cocktail hour, speeches, dancing, it was all perfect.
David is especially important to us because we had to cancel our original 2024 wedding date just a few weeks out because of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, and moved it back a whole year. So, we've been working with David for almost two whole years. -

Jeff was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding! From the very beginning, he was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. He took the time to walk us through every step and made sure we understood how everything would work, which made things so easy and stress-free. He also did such a fantastic job helping us mix in Ukrainian culture and music — even without speaking or knowing Ukrainian, he was so thoughtful, accommodating, and made it all flow perfectly. On the day of, he was so much fun and kept the energy up all night — our guests never left the dance floor! The music and mixes were perfect, and he truly made our reception unforgettable. DJ Erick was AMAZING! He read the room perfectly and there was never a dull moment. In fact, I can’t think of a single moment where the dance floor wasn’t full. All of our guests were raving about how incredible he was! It was so great to not have to worry about anything involving music, mics, lights, and announcements. 10/10 recommend. We could have stayed on the dance floor for a few more hours! We also had Mandy run our photobooth and it was a HIT. Everyone loved it and it was so sweet to look at the book at the end of the night and see everyone's pictures. Mandy was so fun and so kind! 10/10 recommend! -

David with Carolina DJ Pros was absolutely phenomenal. He was fun, friendly and professional throughout the entire planning process. Planning a wedding is stressful as is, having a DJ that checked in regularly and ensured everything was going smoothly, was a relief. We met with David regularly throughout the planning process and was able to text and/or email him with any random questions we thought of along the way. David listened to our preferences and delivered perfectly. He kept our guests on the dance floor and really knew what songs/genres would keep our crowd going. We will be recommending our friends and family use David and Carolina DJ Pros for either events! We most certainly will work with them again! -
