We got married last month, and DJ Todd was the absolute BEST at DJing and emceeing our wedding! Truly the best in the business, and I can say that because I vetted almost every DJ in the Carolinas. He knows what he’s doing. I cannot stress enough — every single detail and decision we labored over was executed so perfectly. We cannot believe how well it all came together, and it was really surreal to see everything come to life. Todd’s attention to detail, preparation, calm nature, communication/honesty/advice, warm presence, and kindness throughout the weeks of planning made us so thankful we booked with Carolina DJ Professionals. We especially appreciated his professionalism in our rushed wedding planning, his execution in presenting our taste in music perfectly/pivoting when I changed my mind about something, and his energy/ability to ensure announcements/music fit the moment. So many people have commented how much fun they had on the dance floor at our reception and how smoothly the day went, which we completely attribute to DJ Todd. This was especially important to me because I really wanted our guests to dance and enjoy themselves, and that is never a guarantee! DJs really set the mood for your day, and Todd ensured everything came together perfectly for our day. I never had to worry about a thing! DJ Jonathan Steele is AWESOME! I don't think he realizes how much he helped us plan our event. We utilized the schedule he put together for our songs / timeline for our entire wedding - I would not have known how to get started on that without his help. He is super helpful, upbeat, and kept the party going!
Nakia Dow, our Photo Booth attendant was also AWESOME! I am so so glad we had a photo booth to capture memories - it was so much fun and I appreciate getting a physical book of all of the photos taken. Nakia was super nice and made sure everyone knew what to do, where to stand, and had an awesome set of props to use in photos.

Clark was amazing! From meetings months before to creating a playlist that was perfect for us. He was able to really get a great idea for what we were looking for from our meetings, then simply put, CRUSHED IT on wedding day. Couldn't have asked for a better experience all around and most importantly on the wedding day. My sister just recently got engaged and I already have let Clark know that we would love for him to do her wedding as well!

Our wedding DJ, Kyle Law, was absolutely incredible. From start to finish, he exceeded our expectations. He met with us multiple times before the big day to ensure every detail was perfect. We had very specific requests, and Kyle not only honored them but also mixed the music so well. He brought it down when it was needed and got people up and dancing so easily.
What truly sets Kyle apart is his dedication. Our wedding took place on 9/28/24—right in the middle of Hurricane Helene. While many vendors understandably canceled, Kyle showed up, and that made our day unforgettable. Thanks to him, we had amazing music and a fantastic celebration, even amidst the storm. He kept the dance floor full of the family and friends that could make it and we had several compliments on the great DJ.
We can’t thank Kyle enough for his thoughtfulness, talent, and commitment. We would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Kyle!
Our photobooth attendant, Amelia, also went above and beyond. She even helped bus tables for our venue due to other vendor cancellations. She kept the energy high and also dealt with the many cousins and nieces and nephews that frequented the booth. We’re so grateful. -

I would give 6 stars if I could! DJ David is beyond amazing! He pulled out all of the stops to create an absolutely perfect environment. Many folks don’t realize the power of music at an event. The music can make it or break it. DJ David would absolutely make it the event that people talk about, even 6 months afterwards!
Carolina DJ Professionals has the best lighting and DJs you can find. Their uplighting is key to an incredible environment. They have wireless uplighting to make it easier and cheaper to set up at venues but also allow you to put it anywhere you want as opposed to where an outlet is located. We also did the photobooth which was a lot of fun for guests! We got to take home an album of all of our guests which is a cool memento. Carolina DJ Professionals sets up everything for you which required zero effort the day of. If you want an excellent, stress-free experience, I highly recommend Carolina DJ Professionals.
If you want an excellent DJ, I highly recommend requesting DJ David. He went above and beyond, even throwing in some free things because he thought it would make the event better. Not to mention, DJ David even created a custom song for us! We have a little wedding tradition where the groomsmen perform a little dance for the bride. He put together a song that we could dance to, and it came out perfectly! If you want someone that you can rely on to make your event truly special, I highly recommend DJ David with Carolina DJ Professionals.Carolina DJ Professionals's reply:

My wife and I had our wedding on a Sunday in early November. With a bunch of planning on our plates we lost our tracks with keeping up with DJ Todd and couldn't really come up with a final conclusion on the specific song lists or how we wanted Todd to help with announcements, order of operations, or even speech welcoming's. Filling in all of these details was hard enough already with a near 200 person wedding and Todd stepped up and basically took care of everything. My wife gave him some general outlines on the kind of music we wanted through the night, and he took it from there. On top of keeping the ENTIRE dance floor packed quite literally until we had to call it quits for the night, he kept us organized, worked with our planner phenomenally, and created an ambiance/vibe that curated nearly all of the tangible joy throughout the whole night. He's been doing this for years and it absolutely shows, his mixing was perfect. Everyone of all ages was happy with the music and dancing and when it seemed like it was fading, he had a song(s) in his back pocket to pull everyone back in at any moment. We even had a couple loose ideas leading up to it and he had suggestions on top of those that were even better, our closing song was switched up (with our approval of course) and it left a memorable moment for everyone out there that we couldn't have pictured our wedding without. Even our entrance was amped up coming into dinner with a surprise of everyone on their feet cheering and swinging napkins like the panthers had finally won a game. We truly could not have had our dream-perfect wedding without DJ Todd, and we owe him for a lifetime of memories. Huge thanks to Carolina DJ professionals and even bigger thanks to Todd. If you have the choice, pick Todd for your next event, and it should go without saying to pick the Carolina DJ professionals for anything in your future that needs proper mixing!Carolina DJ Professionals's reply:

Their professionalism and organization are top notch, and our big day was beyond amazing because of them. We met with DJ Clark regularly throughout the planning process and from the first meeting, we knew we were in great hands. Clark is friendly, flexible and passionate about what he does. His years of experience were showcased throughout the entire experience. We had some unique requests that required some extra work and creativity and Clark was dedicated to making it exactly what we wanted. On our wedding day, we had to adjust our plans due to the impacts of Hurricane Helene, resulting in a last-minute DJ change. Because of Clark’s organization, thoroughness and attention to detail, the transition to DJ Troy was absolutely seamless! DJ Troy was calm, professional and quickly adapted to the new plans and he executed our vision flawlessly. He was so fun, energetic and kept the crowd on the dance floor the entire night! Without Clark and Troy’s dedication and adaptability, our wedding day would not have been as EPIC as it was! David brought an energy and skill as a DJ that transformed the night into a true party. He listened to our requests, respected our “must-play” and “do-not-play” lists, and put together a playlist that felt personalized and fun.

Carolina DJ Professionals helped make our wedding a blast! Every single person we worked with throughout planning and on the big day was an absolute delight. They made things so incredibly easy.
Our DJ, Dalton, was a huge help throughout the planning process with building the timeline, creating meaningful moments, and great song suggestions. On the day of, he made sure our ceremony was perfect and at the reception we had people on the dance floor until the very end of the night!
Nakia, our photo booth attendant, did an excellent job keeping everyone on track with each photo. The photo booth flowed perfectly and we made so many fun memories! She also presented us with a beautiful album at the end with handwritten notes from our guests!

I was a guest at the Paige Carle wedding on 10/18/24. David kept the flow of the night going with great music throughout the wedding. He kept all the guests engaged in all the activities that were coming up so no one missed anything. Once the dance floor opened it was a party until the end of the night. I would highly recommend David at CDJP for any wedding or source of entertainment. In the future I will be calling on him and this company for my entertainment needs. -
